Great resturant, more occidental focused, with tasty grilled food for a good price. I loved all the chicken plates I tasted. Pizza and lasagna were not that great. Views and service were amazing. Maybe too much waiting for the food but with that views were not so important. We repeated twice. 100% recommended
The atmosphere is really awesome at night in this restaurant. We visited twice during our stay in the Panoramic Getaway hotel.
We ordered Peri peri grilled chicken and a Cardamom Pot Tea. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection but it was sweet rather than spicy like the name suggests. And the cardamom tea was much better than we expected. Even though we ordered for two, the pot contained tea for three people. Also the pot and cups were of high quality. Highly recommended place for a dinner with an great ambience.
We are very impressed with this place, it has western atmosphere and service. Very cozy and calm, the menu has amazing selection!

BBQ pizza which was amazing, from the dough to the toppings! Purrfect amount of sauce and ingredients and cheese!
And the best was the breaded chicken, which came with a white mushroom sauce, it reminded me of my granny's recipe.
We have enjoyed everything about this place, a pitty we discovered it in the last night of Munnar!
But we shall visit again when we are around ☺️
Great place. Came here for an anniversary dinner. Food was slightly on the expensive side, parking was somewhat difficult (the hotel made an ad-hoc place for us near the gate)
Lamb shank, fish in chinichurri sauce, a peach iced tea, and lahsooni murgh tikka were amazing here. The blueberry panna cotta was decent too, and not too sweet.
Mashed potatoes were a little dry, but great base flavor. My SO ordered a cheese and spinach ravioli, which she loved too.
Definitely recommend the items we ordered.
Special mention for the wait staff, who were great despite the place being slightly empty due to the other place in the same building (Desi tastes, I think? Or something) pulling the crowd for dinner!
Even in pitch-black darkness, the view was divine. Daytime view would be even better, I would bet a pretty penny on it!
We ordered some lebanese chicken , tandoori jhinga , grilled fish with chimmi churi sauce (must try) and mashed potato on sides. The quantity is perfect for two people and food tastes were really good. Highly recommend it if you are in munnar. Ambience and view are also fabulous!
We stayed at the Panoramic Getaway and had a chance to visit ‘The Underground’.. Great ambience with beautiful surroundings.. and their interiors are really good.. They have both indoor and outdoor seating(with awestruck views) options. We did taste their desi veg and non veg combos - they come with 2 appetizers, pulao and roti. Portions were huge and made our tummies full. Food was excellent and great in quality and taste(just felt they could have been bit more spicier). Overall a good experience at this place and we would visit again definitely..
During our stay at the Panoramic gateway resorts we had dinner experience at The Underground restaurant. The setting is great facing the valley and service is prompt and good. Fare is Italian, Mexican with Indian appetisers thrown in. We had vegetarian pizzas (margarita and garden veg) and vegetarian burrito. Overall a dinner evening well spent - surely recommended
This place is very cozy and has plenty of nice food options. The BBQ chicken wings and satay were excellently cooked and the pizza was tasty too. The service staff have a positive friendly attitude and make dining even better.

100/100 experience. Food options are great, quality quantity and taste are excellent. There is no physical menu but the web-menu is very easy to navigate and has sufficient descriptions.
Service is quick, and they stick to the timings they promise.
All the service staff are very polite, and our waiter Paul was extremely courteous and did an exemplary job.
The atmosphere cannot be beat. It is a lovely place both in the day and night. The view is stunning, and the place itself is gorgeous.
Both indoor and outdoor seating is very nicely done. Smoking is allowed outside, ashtrays on request.
The beverages (Tea especially) was great. Mocktails are a tad sweet, so amend the order as per your liking.
Washrooms are very clean.
The place also has wifi on offer. The crockery used is very unique and gives an additional nice feel to the overall experience.
We went in for a coffee and a snack and ended up staying for 4 hours and had 2 meals and multiple rounds of tea.
There is no alcohol, but that adds to the charm since there isn't any boisterous or loud crowd attracted to the place.
They play nice 2000s bubblegum pop in the afternoon, and classic rock in the evenings. Super vibe overall.
We enjoyed a couple of meals here, whilst staying at the Panoramic Gateway hotel. The menu was huge, and everything we ate was delicious, particularly the items straight from the charcoal grill.
It was a shame it wasn't busier whilst we were there and we recognise this is out of their control given we came out of season. More people would help create a buzzing vibe, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our visits and the staff were very friendly!

We were guests at the Hotel and so it was easy to reach this restaurant. Great theme, very cozy vibes and a diverse menu. We ended up trying a Vegetable Pizza and a Chicken Nacho Salad and it was really good. Huge portions and great ambience. The Grill items looked really interesting and while there was an assortment platter for BBQ vegetables, there was no such option for non vegetarian items. Staff was super polite and extremely helpful.
If you're looking for continental food in Munnar, I highly recommend this place.
The ambience is lovely- we took the outdoor seating during both the times that we were here.
We ordered pizzas & spaghetti ahlio olio which were definitely very good considering the place is located in a quaint hill station. The taste was very close to what one may get in a metro city.
However, the service is slow. It easily takes minimum 30 minutes to get any dish that you order.
