One of the best place where you would find comparatively cheaper Chinese food that tastes good.... The dim lights may turn out to be a mood setter... but i feel the place is a little too closely packed and the ambience can be improved for sure... and even then there r people waiting for a table ... cant help... weekends r demanding. And about food, taste is good. The quantity also suffices it... But unfortunately they did not accept cards during my visit as their machine wasn't working...
This is my favourite chinese restaurant. Hands down.
My standard order: Chilly Roast Pork, Chilly Chicken/Fish, Mixed Non Vegetarian(This has chicken+prawn+pork+egg) Fried Rice and/or Noodles.
Quantity and Quality: It's delicious af and they give you A LOT of food. I usually take parcels and the food lasts me three whole meals.
Verdict: One word, RAD. 11/10.
Peking .. A resto where we used to get the best Chinese food ! Found the quality n taste to be the same base . Momos were coated too much with oil though quantity were loads but taste in total was a huge disappointment ! Request the management to take steps to bring it back to the old yummy Chinese food ! Customer service was too sluggish ! We want Peking back please !

One of the best Chinese restaurant in town they have a very good ambience and very good hygiene. I simply love the food there. I especially love their Pork and Chicken delicacies. They have a big menu which tempts us to visit em' a lot of times and taste every single dish out here. One of the top destinations for Chinese food lovers. , they just do what they promise in serving good quality food.

Nice & Neat & Closed. I haven't tried Chinese foods, it's our first try, we ordered Dragon & Phoenix Soup and Mandarin Hakka Noodles. We two ordered they immediately asked 1/2? we also said OK! The soup was awesome and the noodles was a disaster we didn't like it! Before bringing noodles they asked whether it was to be mixed, but we didn't understand and the noodles + gravy brought separately and mixed after that!. But the service was awesome! I want to say it's a lot of food don't order food in 1 for 1 concept!

One would not expect to find an authentic #Calcutta #Hakka Chinese - deep down South in #Coimbatore. Had discovered Peking on Zomato some months ago and had ordered food to the Club where we normally put up on our visits - and could at once make out it was the "original" stuff and, therefore, merited a visit. Peter Fan's family moved to Coimbatore a good 30 years back from Bow (Tirreti) Bazaar - the old China Town of Calcutta along with a family of Dentist and stayed on. Though they have modified some recipes to suit the local palette and have a greater range of Vegetarian dishes on the menu - most other items remain true to the Hakka Style. Particularly recommended is the Pork. The fried roast Chilly Pork was over by the time we reached - so we settled for the Dragon Pork. The Mandarin Chop-Suey was probably a wrong order - and should have stuck to the tried and tested Chinese or American variants. So, if you're looking for good-old Indian Chinese next time you're in Coimbatore - head straight for Peking. Great value for money and ambience reminding of the old Chinese Restaurants of the 60-70s - still found in South East Asia - bit gradually disappearing in India - even in #Kolkata.

One of the oldest Chinese Restaurants in town and one of my favorite too. Have been here numerous times. Its opposite the Park gate. This place has a very narrow entrance and not-so-wow ambiance. It kinda stinks a bit of the Chinese sauces inside. But the food here compensates it all. Large quantities of food and the pricing is always a delight. Food is authentic and perfectly cooked.
Service is prompt. Must Try - Manchow soup, Szechwan friend rice, american chop suey, dragon chicken, chicken foo yung, chinese chop suey, singapore noodles.
In this era of hustle and bustle We are too tired even during vacations there kicks in Peking with wide variety of food to choose from the menu. I personally like Soups and Chopseuy and most of the Chicken dishes were good. Must try this newly opened home delivery service for fresh hot food at your doorstep!
This place might not look that appealing. But trust me the food is amazing. Don't expect authentic Chinese. Kung pao chicken and chicken momos are a must try here.
They give really good portions and the food I have tried so far has not yet disappointed so I would say it's worth the money you spend.
I recommend ordering 2 or 3 different dishes and splitting, that way you get a nice variety and also prevent wastage.
The noodle dishes are pretty legit; the non-veg dishes taste good too, which can't be said of the veggie dishes - maybe it's just me but I tired of them easily and some just din't live up.
A CON is that the food is always a bit oily - they have to control the oil.
It's not an everyday restaurant, probably not authentic Chinese and better visited with company than alone; but they serve good food and I would visit again.
Best place for Chinese menu. The effort they've put in to make the ambience feel like you are in some place out of the city is notable (including the waiter who understands just probably Chinese). Large proportions of food was served. A single main course would easily suffice two. Reasonable price ! Service is done a little quicker than what you'd normally expect. Worth the try!

Located in the greenery surroundings of VOC park, this restaurant is among the top 3 Chinese restaurants in the city. Limited seats and the dim light in the restaurant makes the dining experience a nostalgic one. Not so clean, but staffs are polite! Decently priced and softer on your pockets. Schezwann fried rice is a worthy try and walking around the stadium after dining in is a fabulous experience! Especially in the evening!

Been here multiple times. Love the place. Among the few good Chinese outlets in Coimbatore. The ambience and the service are normal, nothing exceptional. The food comes in decent quantity. My favourite order is Manchow Fried Rice. The dish has fried rice mixed with the thick crispy noodles (more like sev) - The manchow soup style. Also a non veg gravy dish is part of the same order. Totally worth it.
I can't comment on the restaurant itself as I've not been there yet, but I recently ordered a takeaway meal from here and was very impressed. Not only was the food flavorful and of just the right spice level for me (pretty mild as my taste buds still haven't got used to India's spice levels!!), but the portions were massive and very reasonably priced in my opinion. I would just point out that I had requested that the dishes be made extra mild for me, so lovers of all things hot and spicy, don't be put off!

It was the first time for me and my children to try the Peking restaurant in Nehru stadium, Coimbatore. Though we passed through it many times in the past , we never had the opportunity and it was always on our bucket list. We went for lunch and didn’t know where to start in their menu. But their staff were kind enough to help my children to explain the menu, especially if they are spicy or not, portion size etc.. so it was very guided process to select the few items.. we chose a soup, noodle, choupsey and a garlic prawn.. all were yummy and portion was right enough for us. Overall, a very good restaurant for chinese food..

Best Chinese cuisine we can ever taste in coimbatore. Lovely theme which makes us feel we are in China (other than the customer who are Indians), loved the food and flavours, it's costs you very average not very costly and not very cheap, will never disappoint paying for the good food.
