They have a simple ambience , and when it comes to barbeque it was very tasty and enticing especially the prawns ...
Even the service was too good. I was too full to taste the main dish.As I am a briyani lover I tasted briyani, it was awesome.
All the desserts are yummy.
One thing that disappointed us was they charged more for a limesoda because limesoda is not covered in the barbeque package ...

Brilliant BBQ Nation style restaurant and amazing speread of starters, main course, salads and desserts. I've dined multiple times at this place and 2 things I love the most about it are 1. It's Dessert spread-eagle huge variety and great quality and, 2. Hospitality and very courteous behavior with all customers.
The food taste was good. But still they can have more varieties for buffet and can reduce the size of paneer for live grill. Overall experience is good.

Global barbeque is a family favorite! Although the starters are the same as you get at BBQ Nation, the ambience is more relaxed. There's no buzz like the other one has, so close family celebrations are great here!

Went to this place on a December afternoon weekday . I was pleasantly surprised by the decor of the restaurant and the waiters and manager were very courteous.
Coming to the food starters were very similar to bbq nation .
The main course food on the buffet were really good too and not some namesake dishes !
Dessert spread I found it a bit lacking on the all time favourites and the portion sizes were too small. So if we like a particular dish we would have to take many second helpings .😐Plus nothing very different , just the regular favourites like brownie, gulab jamun and vanilla ice cream were available

I have been here a couple of times. When you can't reserve a table at BBQ, you can always come here. 😉 All the items are as good as BBQ. But there aren't a lot of varieties for vegetarians when compared to the non vegetarians.

Writing a review after a long time as I had a good food today and thought of telling the same to you people. Visited Global Barbeque with my gang of 32 members for a lunch. Before visiting here I don't have much interest in it but anyhow wanted to try it once and had a chance today.
So coming to the food, it's really great and even the foods provided in main course also good which we cant expect in many buffet providing restaurants.
Pros :
Due to my health reasons I opted for Veg. In Veg starters they provide Panner, Mushroom, American cheese potato, Sweet corn, Spider kebab and assorted Veg and fruits. Mushroom, Spider kebab and cheesy potato are really awesome . For Non veg as usual 2 chicken, a fish, mutton kebab and prawns. Everything tastes good.
For main course , Briyani, Naan (Butter, garlic), Manchurian balls and Dal are really good, in Non veg Ambur briyani 5/5 rating for the taste and Egg curry and Mutton curry are taste good.
In Desserts everything is good especially something named suki muki I dont know correctly it's a mixed taste of Milk peeda and Rasagula was awesome.
Ambiance is good and since it was less crowd, as a group we enjoyed a lot.
Cons;
Soups are not that much good. In Starters we waited for Spider kebab for a long time and served only one per round as they have limited count in their serving plates. Gulab Jamoon syrup had much sugar and Ice creams are more frozen.
Overall A great place to dine in, quality nearly matching with BBQ Nation. Buffet cost around 649 for Veg and 749 for Non Veg including taxes. They provided an offer of Eat as 5 pay for 4.

The best place to relax and have ur buffet. Being a core non vegetarian and forced to have a vegetarian meal as i was following the lenten days, i was fairly surprised as the food was indeed good and i did not have regrets about not having a proper meal (in my case a proper meal is always non veg food :p ) the food was more than good. Desserts were yummy. Friendly service team. A good place to hangout with friends.
After few contrasting reviews, we opted out the place for a team out. The ambiance was quite pleasing and the staffs were very friendly. The items served were tasty and surprisingly the main course had more varieties. Though it would have been great if they can come up with their own unique dishes.
When we visited, they had food festival running and hence there were a few changes in menu. I am a lover of cheese potatoes in BBQs and when I found them missing I was let down. But the staff saw our fallen faces and made them just for us so that we would be happy. It was really service next level.
I would say, nothing exceptional but definitely a value for money.

Had a wonderful time at the restaurant. A true rival to Barbeque Nation in every sense. Their starters were top notch and I really liked the buffet spread. The desserts were good too. I didn't like the fish starters though. It was too burnt and tasted sour. A birthday was celebrated and it was a memorable experience. Ambience is great and the service awesome.

Quite good I would say. I loved the ambience and the kindness of all the waiters there. Food was top quality. A lot more starters were expected as there were only the standard ones. Dessert were fine.

Good starters with usual varieties. Liked the prawns and the watermelon grilled ones. The live counter had fish and chicken with 3 sauce options - not that impressive. Service had large room for improvement. We had to ask for starter serving twice or thrice to the end. Enjoyed the meantime otherwise.

More like a wannabe BBQ nation. The menu is a similar to BBQ nation. Taste is average. Service is something that helps the place survive. Friendly waiters. Good place for team outings and get-togethers due to lesser crowd. Location is a bit of a problem.

Tried Global Barbeque today, to let out some post-semester steam. Definitely worth a try. Here goes the full story.
The starters- paneer, mushroom, pineapple, watermelon & corn/guava- were just as good as their competitor, Barbeque "country". The better part was that they asked for a feedback on the spiciness of the veggies on the grill and when asked for more spicy ones, they obliged. Good job! The veg kebab, cheese potato and the crispy corn were standard offerings, whose taste I can't complain about. The welcome drinks had good variety, better than the ones available elsewhere.
The buffet style main course was pretty simple. The roti, however, was prepared on request. And it was pretty tasty. The rice, soup, paneer and kofta curries were good, but the okra dish was far too bland for any cuisine. The salad bar was also frugal, regular of most buffets, but good.
The dessert area was the biggest surprise- the sheer variety was remarkable- from custard, to mousse cakes to brownies. The Indian sweet department was also nothing short of excellent. Gajar halwa, a pista-dressed sweet, and gulab jamuns. The best jamuns in a buffet place in Kovai. It's a pity that I was full, so I couldn't have more of them. The ice creams were standard. Some chocolate syrup or some crushed almond toppings would've been nice.
The ambiance was pretty good- sufficiently well lit (but far too bright near the entrance where I was sat, and comfortably bright in farther areas. Use some kind of blinds on your windows, please). Thankfully, the music was very mild, enough to hear each other speak.
The tiny negative point of the experience is gonna be the staff- I'm sorry to say this. The waitron was very polite, but had a knack to speak fast. I had to ask him to repeat it slowly every time. Ironically, the speed with which starters are replenished was not good enough. My friend and I ate pretty slowly today, even then had to wait long for the next round of starters each time. And at the end of the meal, we waited for the bill for 10 minutes AFTER we had asked for it TWICE. And there was no wireless PoS device- I needed to walk across the hallway to the reception for payment, where it took some time. And all this, when half the restaurant was half-empty (Wonder how it'll be when the restaurant is fully crowded). A little more attention here, please.
All in all, good experience. Rightly priced barbeque buffet. Would recommend.

I was skeptic about the restaurant after seeing the highly contrasting reviews on Zomato, but still decided to give it a go as it was my last week in Coimbatore. I must say, the risk was worth it. The place has a tranquil ambiance, and the service provided was fairly good.
The starters were brilliant and as expected we filled up more than half with it. They provided complimentary Water Melon Mojito which helped us to stuff more of the Mutton Seekh Kebabs, Fried Masala Corn, Fried Chicken Wings, Grilled Chicken, Prawns, Fish, Paneer and Mushrooms.
The entrée or main course had variety of items like Clear Veg Soup, Chicken Manchow Soup, Steamed Rice, Ambur Chicken Dum Biriyani, Egg Curry, Butter Chicken Masala, Nihari Gosht, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta Curry, Cabbage Poriyal, Curd Rice etc. There were appetizers like freshly cut Pineapple and Tomato, Green Salad, Aloo Chaat and Sprouts.
The desserts also had a nice mix of fruits, cakes, sweets and ice cream. The Caramel Custard was the best of the lot which consisted of two varieties of Marble Cakes, Gulab Jamun, Payasam, Chocolate Brownies, Dates Peda and more. We wrapped up with generous scoops of Vanilla and Strawberry ice creams.
It turned out to be a wonderful afternoon after a sumptuous lunch. I wouldn't like a comparison, but Global Barbeque stands out in its own way and is definitely worth a try.

Went there as I couldn't make it to Town Hall. Taste was as good as BBQ Nation. But service was very slow. Servers were bit lazy. Main dishes could have been more good.

Went here as we did not get a place in Barbeque Nation. To my luck, the food was so yummy with lots of variety. The ambience, services were awesome. More over, the place s easily accessible.
Went to this ausm interior designed hotel/ restaurant doubtfully whether they can live up to the expectations. To our surprise, the service was excellent compared to bbq nation and other similar restaurants. Nonveg Starters in the bbq grill were super tasty and almost five times they refilled the grill. The buffet spread is not wide but have good taste especially the chicken biriyani. Good desserts too in the line up. Keep up the excellent service..

Stepped in here aftr a movie in the evening. It was around 9 30 n it was almost full, yet the receptionist was kind enough to get us a table. The ambiance was great. Their buffet menu was pretty decent for 700rs, food also was very tasty especially the chicken items were too good. Desserts were also good. Once shud definitely try this place.
The food simply was out of the world .. HOT …SPOT… FUN… AMAZING as well loved the service as the people around were good and responsive towards service. It's a must try restaurant for everyone !!

We went for my brother's bday there and they arranged for a cake cutting even without we intimating them. The staffs were so good that they sang bday songs and we were so moved by their hospitality. They serve vast variety of food. Firstly we had the grill items - grill chicken, fish n prawns out of which prawns tasted heavenly.
They then served tandoori chicken, crispy corn, Mayo cutlet, mutton sheek kabab. After which we moved to the buffet which had many number of food varieties. Spring roll dosa is the dosa counter was yummy. Cakes were super dooper delicious.

Been here for my friend's birthday party. The place looks ok with a disturbing statue of a horse other than that it very nice. The barbeque is great and the briyani was tasty . We were served with kebabs and some veg dishes . The desserts were great esp the brownies. I had like 12 of them. Definitely worth a try.

Despite a number of people telling me that Global Barbeque simply plays second fiddle to BBQ Nation, disregarding their opinion, I decided to pay the place a visit and find out for myself. When I looked through photographs of the interiors, I wasn't particularly impressed at the bright, white theme. But in reality it actually works for me. The off-white furniture, and hints of red and brown small brick-like tiles in the walls sort of ups your appetite a bit (this is relative). Almost all posh food joints nowadays feel the compulsive urge to have subdued lighting to set in a sombre mood even during afternoons. On the contrary, this place does well with it’s well lit interiors. My only qualm is the glass wall on one side of the restaurant. I would’ve preferred it to be textured or frosted to the transparent wall, as the frequent coming and going of people outside of the restaurant sort of distracts you, especially if you're sitting right by the glass. Glass walls are okay for cafés and coffee houses, or even restaurants that offer a good view outside. But barbeque grills on the ground floor? I think not.
Yeses - They make the vegetarian stomach happy :’) Take that BBQ Nation! The starters exude perfection, and I'm not even exaggerating. Good variety and exemplary flavour. The paneer, the mushrooms, the potatoes and all! The dessert counter also displays a lot of diversity. They strike the balance right between Indian sweets and other confections and bakes. The service, as opposed to a number of Zomato reviews, is fair. No complaints. Also, the prices. Much more attractive than the relatively pricey BBQ Nation rates.
Nos - The main course. Nothing extraordinary about it. Not that much variety either. Some of the items, like the Pasta, for example tastes a bit bland and the vegetable biriyani is just..bad. Nevertheless, I'm cutting it some slack as I went almost right before the kitchen was closing, so the food was rather cold. It probably tasted better whilst hot(?)
Verdict - This place is living in the large, looming shadow casted on it by BBQ Nation, and deserves much more attention than how much it receives. Definitely the underdog of Coimbatores barbeque scene. Vegetarians, all of you, step right up!
( I told myself before I began writing this review that I’d refrain from drawing any comparisons to BBQ Nation and treat it as the standalone venture that it is. But I think that's the only thing I did throughout. *gaah* Global Barbeque, I still like you better.)

The hotel Vijay elanza is newly opened BBQ in coimbatore. This is my first experience to visit BBQ. I had no idea about the BBQ before visiting tis place. The seats are reserved in advance and they are more comfortable. The ambience is too good , best place to take selfieees. I had only Veg-BBQ. The soup is not too good since its a veg. In starters pineapple and watermelon taste were different and yummy. They served with variety of starters. The chat item is a highlighted place, should try it. The place is almost crowded with people in most times. The desserts contains so many items. Its worth for non-veggies and not for veggies.

Went here for a Team dinner dinner. The ambience of the restaurant was good. The staffs were polite and made arrangements for most of our requirements. The food tasted good and in the barbeque both Veg and Non veg options are available equally.
For the price tag of 699 the food and the overall experience is nice. The main course was limited but considering the price it is a decent menu. The suggestion for improvement is to increase the waiters count. They had only limited number of waiters who were looking after all the tables. Due to this we experienced delay in service and long waiting time in live counters.
Buffet Lunch at Global Barbeque, Vijay Elanza was really wonderful as visited yesterday for lunch with my Friend. There were assorted Veg & Non Veg dishes. It's just priced at Rs.699, not much crowded. Kingfisher is Net Rate Rs.394 & this beverage is NOT Free. Right from starters everything was awesome, as usual they have live grill on our Table and multiple waiters keep on filling it, they also keep on bringing something from kitchen to fill in our plates. All waiters were really friendly. Feel really worth the money. Definitely must visit place.

Team lunch after a looonng time today. Initially took sometime for the non veg items to get ready and after that it was a good service although we had to sometimes ask twice or thrice for the fill.
Cheese potato: Very spicy with tangy taste. This was ok.
Crispy corn: good as usual .
Chicken wings: Juicy and tasty. Masala had blended well with the chicken.
Mutton seekh: Good one.
Tandoori chicken: similar to wings with good taste.
BBQ chicken, fish tasted wonderful. I opted for chicken more than the fish.
BBQ pineapple was amazing. It was sweet and awesome.
Chicken briyani: seeraga samba rice with good taste. Although we liked and few didn't.
Chicken curry: well prepared. Good combination for naan and chapathi but I ate just the chicken pieces alone.
Other available items were Alleppey fish curry and mutton curry.
Coconut burfi: tasted like milk sweet. Coconut burfi mathiri illa..
Ada Pratham payasam: good one.
Gulab jamoon: jamoon was hard. May be it was prepared at that time.
Brownie: this was also little hard compared to the normal brownie.
Main course were less when compared to pre covid era.
A good try if you prefer starters rather than main.
When you are competing against the key players in the market you need to possess quality , variety and taste . It is Excellent in here. The service is also very good. Ambience is so engaging and good amount of crowd on a saturday afternoon. Starters, BBQ varieties (especially fish) , Desserts and mind blowing briyani and mutton curry, sizzlers - everything was upto mark. I didnt find any negatives and price was also reasonable. Valet car parking is available. Good place for a reviving friendships and relationships.

Well organized to accommodate my entire team of 36, the hospitality was great, staffs tried to connect with everyone to understand their preference and served with the smile throughout. The taste and quality of food was excellent and to compare, better than other barbeque restaurants. It was a better and improved experience overall from our last visit.
Visited on a Wed afternoon. Was almost free but very nicely fresh cooked food and excellent service. Will definitely recommend this place. Non veg buffet costed 666 and kids 50% discount.
BBQ at its best starters. Veg, non veg are worth to try. Main course not a big deal. But ok. Deserts and ice cream are good. Good service and ambience.
The starters and dessert were really good but there was nothing appealing in the main course and the options were very limited. Service was also a bit slow and could have been better
Ok food. AC was not functioning properly so had worst experience as hot tandooris kept in the table.. Menu is decent for the price.

Best buffet for INR 700, comparing the allacart restaurants mugging INR 1000 to 1500 with few on a small bowl or plate.

inside Vijay Elanza, it's Good but with Less Menu...
No words! Simply awesome. I'm basically a malayali (from kerala). There is a phrase in our language i.e you should treat a guest like god. I git that kind of experience from it. You guyz should really try it out.
The starters are awesome..very much worth the money..Had dinner twice from here with family and found it delicious both the times from welcome drink to starters to main course to dessert.
Not up to the mark. Always BBQ Nation, the best. They give 500 per person offer sometimes. Then it's a fair deal.
