Good place for health conscious people. My favourites Millet pongal, Vazhapoo vadai, ragi pakoda, zeera chapathi, kambu dosai. For meals kai kuthal rice is available. Small but neat and calm place.

It is easier to pick a vegetarian restaurant in India. But a Vegan restaurant is a rarity as the so called Indian vegetarian diet depends mainly on milk products. Hotel Nalan is a vegan restaurant, with no milk products like curd, butter milk etc which are the traditional markers of an Indian vegetarian restaurant. As it is situated at a distance of around 100 m from my office, I am a regular here. The food is excellent. Cooked in traditional style, the menu varies each day. (The restaurant has a WhatsApp group, to which you can request to be added if you are a regular. Menu is posted there for breakfast, lunch and dinner) Daily in the lunch the provide different varieties of Keerai. Payasam (dessert) has no white sugar mix, only country jaggery. For healthy Healthy options, this is the place.. I just crossed this place and decided to have breakfast accidentally. To my sweet surprise, the place is loaded with healthy Options. The owner also explained that they make only healthy traditional TamilNadu food. If you are looking for poori with Subji or parrotta with kurma or panner butter masala.. You may excuse. In summary, they serve you lot of medicines in the name of tasty traditional food. Wonderful !
There are only a certain restaurants in the Industry, that offer food for the essence of it. Organic food, left,right and center with a service attitude. That's how I would describe this place. Only Vegetarian. But no compromise on taste. They taste wonderful, all the while being healthy and organic. Truly, a unique place for organic and harmless food in Coimbatore

The food is very tasty doesnt contain any sort of masala but just felt the price was bit on a higher side comparing the quantity and ambience.

Seriously I had a great lunch ever in ma life, guys don't miss the taste of their spl lunch which makes me more hunger after having a meal at here!! Payasam is at its best!! Wow nalan team was so awesome!!
This is the best place for millet foods and easily digestible food. You will feel hungry immediately after 2-3 hours and not feel dull/lethargic at all. Very friendly people. I have been visiting here every week.

Nalan restaurant is one of the very few restaurants in Coimbatore which offers healthy food. Items like onions and Maida are entirely avoided. No junk food is part of item list.

Ambience is not upto mark. It looks like any traditional madras coffee house set up that you may have come across some 10-15 years ago. Normal chairs and tables.
But the food - extraordinary!! They provide so much variety in millet and similar raw material based foods. Excellent taste in each of it.
I love this restaurant and will proudly take any of my friends for a visit there.

The information about the advantages of Millet food and green vegetables were written inside the premises was just awesome. Too the service is offered at a reasonable price.

It has authentic south indian only veg food served in a healthier version..just like at home. The staff is super friendly. They have something different in their menu always. More importance given to healthy recipes rather than the appearance of the dish.

THE BEST place for most healthy Gluten-free Vegan non-spicy South Indian Veg food. Very hygenic and reasonably priced.
Even if you eat here 3times a day, your entire lifetime, you will never need to get a hospitalisation.

They possess the sense and capability to give us healthy food. Original ingredients give the taste here. There is no additives here. They follow no maida no milk no white sugar. I recommend appam with coconut milk.
