Loved the preparations. The staff is polite and cordial. One rare place where one portion of a dish can comfortably satiate two people. So, order accordingly. Make prior reservations as the place could turn out to be completely packed up anytime. Worth a visit for South East Asian cuisine.
Authentic exquisite Asian Food. Difficult to find non-Indianised Thai food in Coimbatore. This place is certainly fulfills the void. There is still room for improvement in the service front.
Iam so late..to Review here we went here two times food service decor everything neat and perfect I loved it ❤️menu concept was such difficult to understand that’s only thing should try to change or do something else to explain it ..
A different cafe and a best place for hangout with friends. Just been there for one time. The ambiance and the infrastructure was good. Not tried much of the menu over there but only falooda. It’s located in race course, Coimbatore. Not suitable for the family outings. And however wish to go there next time to check out some more best dishes in the menu.
Food is awesome. The Seafood was fresh. The taste was on point. Totally in love with the place. Very aesthetic. Lovely lunch. Totally worth it. 🔥💯💯😎
One of the best Asian restaurant if not in Coimbatore but in whole of Tamil Nadu. Loved the ambience but the food was to die for. Must visit place for the people who are in search of new flavours.
I had to meet my friends, we didn't know where to go, then we suddenly came across this restaurant in town. We stopped over here and tried some amazing delicious food. I've been twice to this place. Once for lunch and once for an evening.
Location and ambience :
It is located in the lively area of Race Course, Coimbatore
The ambience is extremely lively. They play wonderful songs. A lot of pictures can be clicked in this place. If you're looking for a place to click pictures xD
They're a lot of board games too! You can bring in your bunch of friends and chill here
Food:
When I came here for an evening, we ordered two starters
1. Veg corn and cheese Momo, their signature dish of course
2. Dimsum ( the best I've ever had)
3. Tiramisu ( two layered)
When I went for lunch,
1. Noodles
2. Pho
3. Burmese food
Everything over here was served hot and delicious. The hospitality was extremely good
Go over here at any time of the day and you will definitely have a great time. Trust me.
Had a late lunch here today. First visit to Va Pho here in Coimbatore, (have been to the one in Chennai a few times). Food is always amazing here.
Ordered for a Taiwanese Chicken, Chicken Bao, Prawn Dumplings and a Thai Iced Coffee.
Being a Zomato gold member, the Taiwanese Chicken came free. The total bill was 690. All in all a pleasant and relaxed afternoon experience.
Service could have been better.
Excellent food and ambience. we went on a day when there were less customers so we could enjoy all the restaurant had to offer. There is nice outdoor sitting area. inside ambience is good. My son enjoyed multiple games and toys that were available there. After great food, ambience and facilities are good bonus.
The embience is good.
I have visited the day when they were having offer any item for 99 only.
Starter was good and service is also good.
Just you need to be careful if you are pure vegetarian, because some time in rush hour you can eat non veg momo by mistake 😋😃😉
I have tried number of items and all was tasty.
Keep it up guys!!!
Thanks
The best time to have a great food Nd also new stuffed foods Nd also the atmosphere is so good with full of paintings Nd food is also so delecious. Costly but worth
The food is wonderful. The ambiance is great. If you want to try Asian cusine it's the place I would recommend. The service is good and the menu is so diverse and unique. You will enjoy every bit of the food you will have.
Love this place ! Especially chicken momos is the bestest!♥️♥️ interior is exactly like Chennai branch ! Cost also affordable! Not too costly !
I really enjoyed each and every bite in this restaurant.. the bun was outstanding and the falooda was too good.. other items were also good it wasn’t an authentic version of such cuisine but it is at some level..
A nice place in d town 😊 loved the pan Asian food and amazing ambiance. We loved their lemongrass chicken wings and VA pho chicken rice..which was ooozzzzz ....out with d best chicken which I ve Eva tasted..
One fine day I and my friends decided to go for a lunch,we searched for a really good ambience, kinda pleasant.
There comes VA PHO to the rescue.
1.The golden triangles (prawn) which was crispy nd superb
2.My frnd choose vietnamese pineapple fried rice (chicken)
I was avoiding pineapple nd eating the rest😂
3.momos(chicken)
4.malabar barota with mutton curry
5.szechuan noodles
Dessert was awesome
1.chocolate mousse
2.Twin panna coat
The game we played in between was 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
Food was very great and I was so much satisfied and we enjoyed very much, have fun guys and have tasty food out there . But there's one item called schezwan noodles and it had lots of tomato sauce and it smelled stinky and that was very bad and except it everything is awesome.
The ambience and the service are good the food is great especially their noodles and starters my try spicy Malaysian rice and tum yum chicken soup.
Became my recent favourite restaurant.. Enjoyed the food so much.. esp japchae was too good
Sizzling noodles lacked lil flavour.. been wanting to visit again
Looking for some Chinese food, do try this. Food is near authentic to Chinese, but your taste buds will love to have this food. Must order Dimsums (tried veg), fried rice (ordered one extra after first one).
The ambience is good, with a lot of graffiti on the wall and concept of mismatch style. Staff is good and nice, understand customer requirement.
Parking can be bit tedious, may need to park on road.

It's one good Asian restaurant in coimbatore.the service was really good but the food was a bit expensive.
If u happen to be there ,try out dimsum varieties, salad and kam heong broccoli (it was extremely good) and chocolate mousse
We went here for a Monday lunch. The place was literally empty because of week day I guess.
Ambiance was perfect and service was also very good.
Since it was the first time here, we mostly went with the signature dishes. We ordered Va Pho Mushrooms, Green curry Baby potatoes, Zucchini corn and cheese dimsums, Veg meegoreng noodles, Chocolate mousse and fried ice cream.
-> Va Pho Mushrooms - Mushrooms tossed in a Chinese style with onions and capsicum. It was good. Nothing unique about the taste.
-> Green curry Baby potatoes - I loved this one. It had the taste of greens and it was in the right spice level. Potatoes were crispy. Definitely recommended.
-> Zucchini, corn and cheese Dimsums - The dimsums were presented in a beautiful way. And I know va Pho is famous for dimsums. But I was extremely disappointed with the dish. It sucked very badly. The dimsums was very over cooked and was soggy. I don't know what was inside because it did not have the taste of zucchini, corn or cheese. It was some uncooked stuff. We ended up wasting it.
-> Meegoreng Noodles - It was good and we enjoyed it. Can rate it specifically only after tasting the other types of noodles.
-> Chocolate mousse - It was great and was worth every spoon! Please try it.
-> Fried Icecream - It was good, I heard. I have a dislike towards coconut, so I carefully asked if the dish contains a coconut base while ordering all dishes. But I forgot to ask that for desserts! :D The fried ice cream had a outer layer of coconut and it was used for drying. I did not taste it.
Overall it's a great restaurant. With lots left to try. And cost is definitely on the higher side.
It will cost anywhere between 1000-1200 for two people.
We had
Tom yum
Fuzzy peg
Steamed open dimsum
Singaporean char
Sizzling
Chinese twins
Sweet potato patties
Momos
Chocolate mousse
Triamisu
I think I should end the list!
Initially everything in the menu spelt funny! That I couldn't even understand what it was! And I just gave a blind try and that was super hit! Only the Singaporean char was disappointing other's all wer good! Their chocolate mousse was very awsm! And I don't think it's a good choice for soup!
I a waiting to try lemon grass chicken!
Nice cozy place !! If u want to try some different cuisine this is the place. U have some variety food and this is a Chinese restaurant.
Had Vietnam soup for starters. Was completely different , indeed a good one.
Ordered main course, it was good
Place is so fancy with lot of games to play and ambience is so colourful.
Those who want to click some good photos- this is the place guys
Overall happy place. Must try !!
Va pho is a wonderfull place to hang out... Great food and fantastic ambience...
First of all its not an Indian place... So the menu is quite complicated for everyone and lucky for us v ended up ordering all the right food..!
The food is well done and totaly worth tryinn... They have got a good range of menu to choose from but the order takes forever to make it to the table other than that i would say its perfect..!
What I had...
- Chiken Momos
- Chiken bbq BAO
- Glass Noodles
- Sizzling Noodles
- Va pho special rice
Loved every bit of it..!
Must have is : Chicken BAO super good...!
Not so great: va pho rice was a litle spicy and less flavour
Food : 10/10
Ambience: great
Service: good
Cost: a bit expensive
Overall food experience: Amazing...!
One good Asian cuisine, Loved the interiors, The place is occupied with good music and vibes and games to play.
The service is great,They are humble.Loved the food.
i would recommend people to do visit the place.
Ambiance was totally different .. bit costly .. but worth to spent .. waiter was polite & professional .. food was served in a normal time limit .. lamb was too delicious .. good taste prawn was not up to the mark but overall it was good .. to be there ..
Expensive. One of the few places in Kovai that serves Asian (Chinese, Malay, Thai, Singaporean) food. The food tasted delicious. The wait was a little long. We took one of the board games from their shelves in the meanwhile. Va Pho is on the first floor and we did not find an elevator. Could be difficult for the elderly. The ground floor also hosts a restaurant, Ente Keralam, which serves Kerala food.
i loved it 💘
it was my first visit to coimbatore with my frnds and i never missed out the best asian restaurant..va pho!
gud ambience nd interior was awsome
I had thai chin chicken , lemon grass chicken wings both were gud.
as i am a seafood lover i had tomyum soup which was of no doubt yummy..
i tried the miloni crush but was not too satisfied with that ..maybe othr mocktails do ... i wll try next time. overall it is one of the best restaurant in asian treat.
VA PHO - best pocket friendly pan Asian restaurant in the town. This place gave me positive vibes and pleasant feels once I entered. The warm smile of service staffs were added points. They even made my waiting time turn into fun. Everything you try is worthy. All the dishes I tried were upto the mark ! I totally loved the dining experience here
Where... above Ente Keralam Race course.
food 4.5/5
service 5/5
ambience 5/5
To begin with it’s an Asian restaurant. I was new toAsian cuisine.. checked in to this new place with my colleague a month before .. to my surprise it turned out well. It’s a bit pricey mainly due to its location I guess .. i am a veggie so tried some veg stuffs and it was really good..
Ambience wise it was good with some loud music and great interiors.
We had bao.. their speciality you can say .. we tried spicy tofu bao which was tasty and the bun was too soft .. the quality of the dough was good
For mini plates we tried with Green curry potatoes which was cooked properly and baby potatoes were crispy .. It had a different taste.
Then we had szechuan veg noodles , which was a bit oily and it was okayish.. It was not spicy at all , it was very mild.
We tried with spicy Malay rice , which was good and it had mild spices.
Then for mocktails we tried with koko loko and Rangoon princess .. both One were good.. former One had ingredients of coco Water and it’s nectar and the latter one had lychee and lemon domination.
Service is good but too slow .. they have valet parking service ..
Overall a good experience 😊
First things first, the ambience is just outstanding! Great work has gone into it with bundle loads of creativity. Coming to the food, it was great! Had a dish called Khaosuay which is fried noodles with a gravy, which was a bit tangy but good. And a mocktail called Bangkok mojhito which was awesome too! One little concern was, food tasted a bit garlicky and was heavy a bit. Besides that, a good place to hangout with friends and have a great time!
Va pho, serves one of the exclusive cuisine in Coimbatore. You get to eat the best East-Asian style foods that you always wanted to try. If you are a person who is on a food hunt then Va pho is a good place to start with.Their ambiance is absolute phenomenon. Do not eat while you are at rush. You have to enjoy the best food so stay calm. 'Tofu' is at it's best here. It could be one of the most liked dish for the the Coimbatore foodies.
good food and gr8 choice . The authenticity is close in a few dishes....................... .................................................
Definitely it's not our kinda food but must try in coimbatore! It was a poshy nd high rated restaurant one among all!! First it takes time to read the menu where to start wat to order which is good ll be in great confusion ! Staffs ll help u in figuring the menu's nd thy have the best funky decors on d wall nd lot of board games & blocks etc! Now coming to food, still am figuring wthr it was good r not but definitely not tat much bad we ve orderd
STARTERS chicken baos it was good nd wantons not tat much appealing it's a average one Taiwanese 3 cup chicken I don wat relates the name nd food it was okeyy nd chinene twins was Soo crispy ng good !
MAIN COURSE oriental fried rice which has no flavor very plain and Malay spicy rice veg nd sizzlin prawn is a bad trip it is burnt nd raw pepper taste
MOCKTAILS Thai ice coffee amazingly punched with coffee flavor nd some mango lazzy chilly it's kinda a different try
DESSERTS sticky rice first time in life so not able to judge and chocolate mousse asusual finger licking!
Went with very high expectations, the ambience and space is giid the high sit tables are not really comfortable. The soup was not at all good. The food was very spicy. The tofu satay was not cooked well. Tge main course was ok the pad thai and some fried rice was good. We ordered desserts i think souffle and it was spoilt we returned it. Though the got another one (another dessert). They should not have served the other one.
I am only give 3.5 because no other options in this city. Else it would have been a 3.0
Just wanted to add, when i visited they had Thai food festival. And they only served a special menu.
This is a long pending review! I visited Va Pho on New years. Firstly they didnt have their full menu available on that special day. They claimed there were having a special menu with just a limited items off their original menu. That was really disappointing!
Ambience and design were all very asian and youth inspired. Coming to food, their Rapunzel drink was yummy. The thai cold coffee was too sweet. The pao buns and chicken satay starters were really delicious. For mains we had mee goreng which was very much typical in taste.
Even without desserts, the bill came to around Rs 1200. Definitely a posh place to eat but worth a try!
VA pho is located near Race course above Ente Keralam ! The place is extremely good and they serve the best kind of food with good taste ! The way of cooking is very unique. They have lot of varieties of appetisers and mains !
Must try :
1.) Barbecue Chicken Bao’s
2.) Veg Bao’s
3.) Rendang beef curry with coconut rice
4.) Pong kari
5.) Vapholecious
Bao’s are their best. The quantity is quite big and is very filling. Both veg and non veg Bao’s are food ! Rendang beef curry was very nice. The best side for rice was Pong Kari which is nothing but a kind of fish curry. It was bit sweet and tasted really good.
The best part of dessert was fried ice cream and vapholecious They serve vapholecious with nearly 10 to 12 scoops of ice cream with different flavours and it has cookies and brownies on top of it. It is worth the price and it can be consumed by 4 to 6 people easily. The place was one good experience !
They have very nice out door seating too!!
Taste - 5/5
Quality - 5/5
Quantity - 5/5
Ambience - 4.8/5
Price - 4.5/5
The place was very good with a medium sized menu ....The food was very tasty...... price of the food was reasonable....This is a must visit place for a Thai food lover with good service ☺️☺️☺️
Super cool interiors..since I heard about this place I always wanted to visit, finally when it happened I'm pretty happy..the food is authentic and traditional Asian which I liked but not sure if everyone will like, most of the dishes were sweet, prices are a bit too much for the small portions they were which takes a long time to arrive, over all a one time visit kinda place.
It is probably a good place with lots of props in it and good interior which is filled with multiple colours.
I have been there with my friends ..
the chocolate tastes average with less sugar in it and also less content in it .
The Asian spicy chicken noodles are yummy and spicy .
The egg fried rice is given with an half boiled egg in it ..this tastes good
Mousse is average
The special ice cream which we get there is awesome which is made of coconut .
They got many good games which are free and can be used by the customers ...
The legendary va pho had finally made its entrance at Coimbatore - their trademark orange walls and colorful, quirky decor made the place seem very inviting. The best part about Va pho is their round the clock timings, and quick service. They have a wide range of starters you can pick from, and their mini platters are very inviting as well! We tried their barbeque chicken bao - which was probably the best dish of the day. Their classic meegoreng was also served super hot, and the quantity of food served at va pho, never fails to amaze me. Dont' try their golden triangles - too many sesame seeds, and an unappealing flavour to it. I also recommend not trying any desserts here. Instead, go for a refreshing cocktail - my favourite will always be the rangoon princess. The cost for two is around Rs. 900, and their portions are good, so it is worth the rates as well. Must try for Asian food lovers!
Visited this new place in cbe on a Saturday for lunch.. the place was partially occupied.. the interiors were colourful, but we sat outside since the weather was good.
Ordered Thai green curry with steamed rice (chicken) and khaosuay (veg)
The green curry had good flavours with enough of chicken pieces, the khaosuay had crisp and soft noodles with vegetables and curry, I personally liked it.. though it was the first time tasting it.
The quantity was less for the price still our tummies were full after the meal
Also ordered a chocolate mousse which was a usual one.
Took a va pho friedrice parcel as per the waiters recommendation.. which had some unique flavour.
The price is on the higher side, still I would definitely visit again to try their other dishes.
Good choice of menu.. very good service by the staff.. fish garlic pepper fry was delicious.. ! A good restaurant to taste Balinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian cuisine..
Va pho prawns and baos were really good. Don't miss them when you are here. Ambience is really good. Dimsums were good but the quantity was less for the price paid.
Lovely ambiance, Lovely food.
Food tastes unusual unlike every other restaurant in the city. Can't get over the taste of almond drink and the noodle soup. The flavors in each of the ingredient were overwhelming.
But you might wanna gather some picks, since i personally did not like the mushroom barbecue.
They also have super cool games, friendly employees and Beautiful interior even inside the washroom.!
Their variety of food are so different and delicious...............
Ambience is also good............
Their service is also good and fast...
Amazing food.. Very different from what you get anywhere in Coimbatore. Good service. Great colourful ambience. The best thing I loved is the quantity. Unlike other restaurants Va Pho serves the perfect quantity and you don't go home with a guilt of wasting food. Their mocktails could be improved. Overall had a great experience.
I'll have to accept that am not a great fan of Chinese or Vietnamese food. However, the ambience here is a very pleasant and must try kind of one. The food was served a bit late, yet we weren't sure how long we waited as we were all busy admiring the scenic beauty of a tree behind us. This is a must try place with friends.
Ever since this restaurant came to town, almost everybody has been visiting it and I was really excited to try this place even though the reviews we got from friends were quite a mixed response. We went there at around 2.20 pm and asked for a table for 10 and it turned out to be crowded. So we had to wait for another 15-20 minutes before we got our table. The interiors are really beautiful and they've got props and beautiful walls where you can take really good pictures. The service was good and prompt, but the food wasn't upto the mark. We ordered dimsums which tasted okayish but was very little in terms of quantity and the price we had to pay for it. The va pho mushroom was too good. Next, we ordered Indonesian noodles, duly suggested by one of the employees, which was good enough, but nothing really special about it. But the quantity was really less, and we were all left hungry even after we had ordered quite a lot. My friends, who ordered other starters and main courses from the menu, also didn't find the taste or the quantity satisfying. Overall, we had a good time hanging out with our friends there and we got a dozen amazing pictures and memories (thanks to their good ambience once again), but the food exactly didn't leave us all happy. Definitely a place I wouldn't recommend if you wish to leave with a full and a happy tummy.
Va Pho is easily one of my hot favorites in Coimbatore. Funky ambiance, good food presentation aside, this restaurant offers food that tastes true to the origin cuisine (unlike many Chinese and oriental restaurants) The Baos deserve a special mention,, for it was the best Bao I have had around. The coconut Popsicle dessert was refreshing. All the main courses tasted really really good, I almost teared up when I had the first mouth of the Singaporean noodles.

Best place to try some Vietnamese food.. With an great place for hangout.. In the middle of the city..
The services in the restaurant is neat and Simply awesome..
Superb chicken satay but grilled dumplings were not good ! Good peanut sauce ! The sizzlers were little bland ! The chicken were overall good !
Really good and fresh food. You dont feel like you had a heavy meal. Had their lemongrass chicken which was fantastic and so was their tai chin. Chicken bbq bao was nice. Pan fried noodles was really good. Interiors is a bit too loud for me but some amazin and seemingly healthy food
Ambience is really good but taste can be improvised a lot.... all the sauces were with pinch of salt lesser and some pepper sauces were not that much spicy... A good hotel to try China’s Best foods
This is the first time i have been to this place (Va Pho). They have very wonderful ambience. It gives a pleasant experience sitting inside. We had a top-notch service and the taste was really good but some dishes like phuket beef satay, baked coconut delight and fuzzy peg were not up to the mark as expected. At the end you will have a feeling of paying more than what it hast to be. Overall it was costly and satisfying experience
The atmosphere is of top notch. It was a nice place to hang out with friends. Apart from the delicious food being served, There are lot of games to try our hands. The outdoor seating will look romantic especially for couples. All the varieties of Bao are a must try and there are also my favourite.
The best food in modern times Coimbatore . Different cuisine with different approach to food and presentation.loved the way they designed the menu . Hats off
After a month of its opening in Coimbatore paid the visit to the chennai’s sumptuous food restaurant.
Va Pho the name itself a good tagline to attract the customers to their place. Its a highly recommended one to experience a conceptual n fun dining.!
About the ambiance the place is lighted with dim yellow lights and asian wall paintings and an half sized auto setting for photos, and there’s a long table which is preferable for a clan of people.!
Staffs are very courteous and refined in taking orders and helping us to make our dine to its best.
I had dined here twice on two continuous days for a lunch n dinner, i’ve tried almost every dishes except their bao’s. So the experience are according to that.!
For starters :
Chilli cauliflower, Taiwanese three cup chicken when i saw the description about the dish mouth started drooling on seeing the word wontons, but as a hardcore fan of wontons twas a disappointing moment.! Though the taste was great the portion n size of those wasn’t worth their price. Then we had Va pho prawns which was sweet n spicy balanced it both explicitly. Then we had dim sums- momos we call, zucchini corn&cheese, minced vegetables& water chestnut, it went well with the red chilli sauce but even here quantity din’t satisfy the cravings comparing other Chinese restaurants..!
For mocktails :
We had Thai iced coffee which had the real essence of iced coffee, rangoon princess on the first slurp we’d get a perfect blend of lychee guava n lemon.! Royal madras i din’t get that punch on the first slurp, i would recommend you to make a swirl before enjoying it for the real taste.! 24 carrot which is none other than ABC, all ladies might know it 😂.!
For main course :
Started with Pan fried noodles the best form of noodle i ever had partly fired n crispy adding with raw vegetables n chicken. Nextly we had Thai curry initially we thought its just a cup of basmati rice n curry but it tasted so good the curry was cooked painstakingly.! Then Mee goreng this a kinda choupsey which was also a good option with a spicy touch. Nextly we had spicy malay rice which wasn’t that impressive comparing other orders. Japchae noodle we had this also kinda pan fried noodle but had a curry n other mixings like fried onions peanuts separately. Atlast we had schezwan noodles nothing special, similar to other Chinese places.!
For desserts :
We had chocolate mousse which was presented sweetly.! Vapholicious is the biggest twist of all a big sized cup firstly layered with brownie and oreo biscuts then 8 scoops of ice cream above the brown layer finally topped with choco chips, chocolate sausage, chocolates, twister n waffers.! They recommend this order for 4+1, or above.!
Kudos to the management .!
I wanted to visit this place at least twice before reviewing it. and i must say.. its perfect. The taste, the presentation, ambiance, service - 10/10. An authentic pan asian restaurant was missing in coimbatore before this. The chocolate mousse and green curry potatoes are simply out of the world! and we ordered a second serving of both! yumm is the word!
Create theme and totally different ambience. Foodies will love it. You ll have fun games to entertain so worth being there once in a while..
Suoerb food & Ambience. Desserts are too awesome, infact very very different, Very good service. You guys really rock. It's a great place to hang out with so many goodies !!
Tao pho soup was great. Indonesian noodles was great. Never tasted a noodle like that before. The smell and taste of it lingers even after we leave the restaurant. Great ambience, courteous staff. Suggestion by the person taking order was very useful. The food presentation was superb and attractive. Ordered food easy served very quick. Overall a very good dinner and experience. Great place to spend the evening.
A premium outlet to try out Asian cuisine. The restaurant is situated on the first floor of Ente Keralam
Pros:
1. The ambience is definitely catchy . It’s designed to be different and it will surely attract young crowd
2. Food is authentic . There are items to try out which you won’t find normally in other restaurants
Cons
1. Definitely the pricing . It’s on the higher side
2. Portion served is less for the pricing
PS: Do try this place atleast once to taste their offerings . Thier Tom yum soup is real yum
An amazing place one could arrive at. The hospitality that they show will force you to be back again and again. The outdoor dining in the afternoon clouds is just so perfect. The board games are indeed an entertaining factor. The Mock-tails are a pure delight. Noodles is a must try. Just a perfect place to dine out. Dim Sum's, the best momos, bao's, much more. Its a definite Yes for a perfect dine.
After hearing a lot about the new funky Asian place in town in a very short period of time, finally got to check it out with my best friend. Some places completely excite you, and Va Pho is one of them. The interiors are fabulous, and the staff are extremely friendly. We ordered the Va Pho Mushrooms, Chinese Twins, Spicy Malay Noodles and their decadent chocolate mousse. The mushrooms and the noodles were delicious, and their mousse is simply out of this world 💓 There are certain types of food that transport you directly to paradise, and that mousse is certainly one of it. Absolute joy, the time spent here was. Definitely looking forward to come again. Kudos to the team!
Ambience 4 out of 5 ( very colourful, fun, lots of board games)
Service 3 out of 5 ( Decent speed, gets really slow as crowd builds )
Value for money 2 out of 5
( Low quantity for the amount you pay for each dish compared to Cascade or Wok this way - I ended ordering another soup at the end of dinner just feel satisfied)
Taste 5 out of 5 - Yum Yum Yum.
Options for Veg 4 out of 5
A tasting session at Va Pho - Coimbatore that recently opened doors, a memory that I'll cherish for a long time as it was a very pleasant one. Va Pho Coimbatore is smaller in size comparatively but it makes up very well with a beautiful exterior space for seating. The climate of Coimbatore was so pleasant and apt and so we opted for the exterior seating and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Out of the Mocktails, Rangoon Princess and Miloni Crush have to be my favourites. 24 Carrots and Royale Madras were good, too.
The Satays are always a hit at Va Pho. I personally love the Chicken Satay because of the roasted chilli flavour it carries but I'm slightly greedy for the Raw Papaya and Mango Salad that comes with the Beef Salad. So, it's always a tie between them both. The same goes with their Bao's, it's always confusing to choose one among all options.
I was wondering how I'd missed having the Curried Beef Dumplings before while the Hargow has always made place on our order table. Both were equally good.
Loved the crunchy texture of Kam Heong Squid and the Plumpy Prawns balancing the Masala very well in Va Pho Prawns. Any fussy Banana Blossom eater would settle for their Banana Blossom Salad. It was that good.
A visit to Va Pho is incomplete without the Saigon Pho, but their Tom Yum with a twist (Roasted Chilli taste) is slowly making it's place into my heart. Lhoti Massaman Curry will suit almost all palates. The soft succulent Beef in the Indonesian Rendang Curry with Coconut Rice would convince any Beef lover easily. I somehow relate their Va Pho Rice to the same flavours as a Nasi Goreng. Do try it with the Tortang Talong, the Filipino version of Chicken Omelette that comes with a full Purple Brinjal in it.
Thai Green Curry with Steamed Rice was at it's best avatar. Whereas, Spicy Malay Noodles was very convincing for a second serving. Pong Kari wasn't disappointing on any count. A tug of war between the Desserts, but I'm never confused as I'm a die hard fan of the Chocolate Mousse here. Tender Coconut Ice Cream Stick and Burmese Falooda might be tough contenders to each other.
Not that I might have to travel to Coimbatore to taste these delicacies again but the thought of inviting us over for a meal is really heart touching. Appreciate the effort put by the team of Va Pho.
Ive been waiting for months since i saw the flyer and its finally here. "Its not fine-dining but fun dining"(🙃) i was told by the waiter here.. bright bright orange everywhere, bicycles and rickshaws on the walls like the chennai eatery, food in mason jars and wooden racks(at least for some Instagram, if not for fun).
As for the food, my favourites from the night would be the fish ball soup and Beef Rendang curry with coconut rice, they were great. The Baos were so tummy filling and deserve their own separate meal. Pho was good but i expected it to be of a bigger serving size. Other food that we had would be Chicken satay with peanut sauce(good), Panang tofu curry(not so good) and Burmese falooda(fine). I didnt get to eat seafood much coz of my "chicken-only" food companion, should be back here for more of that.
Pricing was/is moderate and fair but the "800 for two" told on the page would be a bit of an understatement. Service was prompt and good.
Food is good ambience is good must visit
Price is a little bit higher for Coimbatore I tried only vegetarian
But it STINKS badly in the restaurant
Awesome food... Lovely n colourful place.. Must try spot... Loved d selfie spots... Pls do maintain the quality of the food... Thumbs up to d vapho team
Good choice for a unrestrained evening along with palatable Asian varieties..Elegant and tranquil ambience..
Price's are bit high but the taste and varieties will make us turn around them again.
Service is overwhelming at times people are so polite.
I went there two times, and I would say I was not disappointed both the times. They serve really authentic and mouth watering Thai food. Service and staff is really good. They explain the dishes very well. Only on the quantity side sometimes you may feel it is somewhat smaller compared to elsewhere places..but taste covers it and you can go for another dish if you are really hungry...
I won't comment about the food as most of it was to spicy for my taste however the presentation and serivce was great . We had ordered several different dishes and they all looked delicious, unfortunately for me my tolerance for spicy food isn't high.
I love the VA Pho Chennai and this place is almost an exact replica of the same. Service was slow. But the ambience and great food more than make up for it.
Had been here thrice until now ... and the menu doesnt stop to surprise me everytime .... from my trials twin pana cotta is a big no no !!
Excellent taste. No words to describe. But i think they are mixing ajino moto. Not sure. And quality is excellent but quantity is very very low

A leisurely atmosphere, Vietnamese cuisine, and while you wait for the food, can try Jenga, chess and few other board games.

Perfect place for Asian food lovers. Must try Malay noodles , Phuket beef satay andVapholicious
The Thai food fest is great here. Great ambiance. Never forget to try the fried ice cream... It's awesome here😘😘😘😘 and they give certain indoor games to play like truth or dare and many more which is great. It's not affordable for middle class . It's a bit costly. Otherwise the food tastes really good
