The food was AMAZING! The ambience was really enjoyable and it's even good for group settings. Plus Pluto the dog made it awesome!
I can't understand the negative reviews. The food is awesome and it apparently had been the same since a long time.
Wonderful home cooked food. Definitely a must visit
Excellent but homely food. Great relaxed atmosphere
The place is very cozy been Goin here since I was 5 ND to be honest the flavors have not changed a single bit
No doubt the daughter has taken ova the business now she has maintained the same standard in the food quality ND taste ND I hope it remains the same for the year to come
I celebrated my 21st birthday at Durigo in may and it was an amazing experience. The ambience is lovely and with d deco done fr my birthday the place just came to life. The ancestral house infornt of the restaurant just enhanced the whole look and glam. The staff is very cooperative and friendly. The food was outstanding, and the winner was the Chicken cafreal dry accompanied by d beef xacuti. I had a crowd of 150 who were comfortablly accommodated and had a grt time. I have also been to recently and dey hv refurbished the place and you shld definitely visit the place at night fr some wine and dine. The lighting and the paintings and d new set up just adds to its upgraded beauty. A highly recommended go to place to enjoy some delicious authentic goan food with a cozy just like home feeling.♥️
Sorpatel, sanna, pork bone curry i could go on and on, best goan food in south Goa. Very pleasant ambience away from the noise of the crowned beach street of colva. I will surely recommened this restaurant to all my friends back home.
Best place for goan food, felt like my mother cooked food just for me.😍😍😍 very pleasant ambience and friendly staff. Deffinetly my go to place from now.
Best place to be with the family nice food as well enjoyed the food very fresh food as well. fast service as well ver friendly environment....
Nice ambience and friendly staff. Food is delicious however the portion size is fairly less for the price. Highly recommended items such as kingfisher and bombil masala fry. All together a great venue with family.
Outstanding food
Just loved everything.
Unbelievable prices of liquor
Must visit place in south goa
Forget martins and other over hyped hotels
P.S. dont forget to try Feni or Urak (local goan drink)
Nice! Calm and quiet, spacious and cool far from the noise and crowds and heat. The food is finger licking good with beer to match. The place is reasonable but then when you want to savor the authentic, no price is too much. And the prices posted on the menu on Zomato are the older rates. Prices have gone up, just FYI.
Can’t beat this place when it comes to goan food !
This is the spot to be at!
Straight from the fish to the beef they have it all and they never fail to disappoint!
If you have to awaken those taste buds with some SUPER Tasty & Authentic Goan food, this place is to be! Prawn Masala, Calamari, Sannas' with sookha beef, Splendid.. I can go ON !
This family extends their platter to people, Amanda the Chef & Master Chef Mumma, running the show! every dish portrays the love by which its made! the perfect blend of flavors....
This place is a food lovers paradise! God Bless the family!
I am a FAN.
Thank You
Enjoyed fish dishes and their chilli-frys here - nice place if you want to have a quiet catch up with friends. Simple, basic menu of local Goan seafood and non-veg favourites which are the most popular things to order here.
A good old backyard home Resturant. Had 2 meals there and it was amazing. The rare place where one can get bombil fry and homemade Urak . Chicken xacuti is amazing. A happy eatin affair this little place it.
The finest and must have lunch/ dinner spot. Won't be disappointed with the food and service. Very few know about this place and it's peaceful to lunch out here.
A typical traditional, home backyard, Goan restaurant.
It's a very old eatery and was once very famous for its food. It is still quite popular among the locals.
We ordered for kalamari (squid) masala fry, beef Chilly Fry, sorpotel with Sannas etc.
The food is just awesome. I don't eat pork, but the look of that sorpotel was just mind blowing.
Beef Chilly Fry was balanced between not so spicy but high on the chilly flavor.
Squids were out of this world.
You might not like the ambience because there is very little to talk about it. But for a good family dining, this is the place.
Amazing food been going there for years and it keeps getting better . Quality is consistent..Homely atmosphere no frills place but the food makes up for it!
Nice place not much crowd bt stil good..nice food splecially goan people will love it... my family enjoyes a lot over here
I felt I had home food
I went there summer holidays with my family
My mom n dad don't eat out ever but they went three meals out of four to our visit to goa
Awesome fish and sorpotel which is pork curry
Great great hospitality
You will get the best quality and best price but it's a home run business so don't expect too much lavish ambience
But the experience with food and service will make you forget the ambience
Also the owner. One day help to you they cook and serve
Great place my first impression was that it's someone's house not a restaurant.
But it is a beautiful backyard in the main area yet quiet and peaceful.
The food was amazing authentic Goan food... Also the seafood was great and very fresh.
Will definitely visit this place again and try more of their lovely food.
The rates are very responsible for the quality of food.
Goan food at its best! Everything that we had from Tongue Roast, Pork Roast, Leppo Fry, Sannas, Sorpotel were super delicious. The best part is their caramel.Absolutely Sensational... Amazing food, great vibe!
This place has been around for decades now. Lovely place for authentic Goan cuisine. Beef, pork, seafood. Simple no nonsense ambience. Hog and leave. Good parking available. Had fried mussels, pork amsol, beef chilly fry, masala calamari. Their pricing is good and service is really fast. Good place for a quick bite, few drinks or a family/party outing.
Beautiful place...luvly ambience.. enjoyed the food ... very peaceful.. wud suggest everyone to atleast go once to enjoy the place
YUMMY GOAN FOOD!
I will definitely be coming back here.
The serving portions and rates are so good, the best is the taste.
The space is big, well spread out, with amazing interior design, lots of plants and photogenic spots.
Ample parking space and a decent washroom too.
It looks beautiful at night. Though we were a BIG group! The service was fast and great.
The waiter was quick and warm.
I will definitely be coming back. I specifically loved the pork sausage rice.
Best meal I had during the whole Goa trip.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. They would guide you if not sure what to have. We had 3 meals out of 12 there.
A Lovely quiet restuarant with local delicacies. Great food and quiet ambience. Try the local goan foods like cafreal, xacuti, sannas, poi bread . Peaceful in benaulim.
The excellent service rendered by two stalwarts namely Anthony and Alex is what makes this place a must visit again and again. The food quality , quantity and taste is definitely adding to the overall pull to come visit repeatedly.
Went for a late lunch after a strong recommendation. The restaurant guys were very friendly and took the order even though it was almost closing hours. Definitely recommend a shot if around Colva. Restaurant itself is behind a huge house with nice ambience. Great prawns and fish!
URBAN VIBES by CROSSOVER
+5
Loved the food , the ambience, & the vibe of Durigo... an afternoon well spent
Real menu by QR code from foto. It's a simple and cozy place. There is delicious, simple food and a decent audience. I recommend the oysters and the dried fish salad))). But i have question) Why is it so expensive? Is it like face control? To keep strangers from entering? I do not know the answer)
Nice ambience. Went for lunch during offseason so that's why the place was empty. Food is great. People wanting Goan cuisine veg and non-veg would recommend this place.
Absolutely amazing. Authentic Goan cousine at a very responsible price. Had looked for a lot of places and found out about this place and truly was not disappointed at all. Tongue toast was outstanding and so was the chonak curry n chicken chilli.
This is the second time iv been here. first time I got too busy eating the food and completely forgot to click some pictures for the review. It's a quiet little place. I love this place for its simplicity and home food. Eating there felt like True Goan Hospitality, the server was polite and gave some good suggestions. food was awesome. Will visit this place every time I visit goa.
Tried the tiger prawns green masala fry,Crabs curry,Stuffed squids,Ambit tik with rice. All the dishes were cooked to perfection unlike other places where they use the same masala for each dish. Every dish had its own unique flavour.Oh and don't forget to ask for their home-made pickle.
It is quite interesting the way we landed at Dorigo’s. I searched for ‘best restaurant with Goan cuisine in South Goa’ and this was the place suggested by maps. The reviews were very encouraging. And let me tell you, the restaurant did not disappoint a bit!
Upon arriving, my husband and I realized we were the only customers and we were even wondering whether the place was closed as it was off season. But we were greeted with all hospitality, our order was promptly taken and we were given the best suggestions on what we could have.
In terms of drinks, my husband tried People’s lager, while I went for Gimlet. Both the drinks were top notch!
Food… all the food items sent us on a gastronomic journey! I thoroughly enjoyed crab masala and could have never imagined having it more delicious than the way it was prepared. My husband and I particularly fell in love with pork vindaloo as it was the first time when even the fat pieces of pork tasted delicious and, surprisingly, not ‘fatty’. We also tried rava fried mussels and enjoyed how the mussels taste was still very distinctive!
The ambience is another aspect that is worth mentioning. While the place might not look ‘fancy’, it was the most hospitable and the most ‘homely’. The music played at the restaurant included melodic covers of pop songs mainly from 90s and 2000s in a Bossanova style. That was exactly the atmosphere that we were looking for :)
I was really happy to see that some old timers (according to the talks) came for dinner when we were finishing our meal.
Will definitely visit again next time we are in Goa!
