Few things. First of all, I know everyone is doing so, but I think that doesn't make sense. When you price HALF PLATE BIRYANI at costly price of ₹200/- and give way too much quantity for a single person, it beats the whole purpose of half plate. By that logic, ypu should also introduct QUARTER PLATE. Apary from that, I loved the Biryani. Great flavors of the rice and nice & soft chicken pieces. Overall, it was great except the rice was slightly harder than expected. Overall, it was great. I just hope they slightly reduce the price and quantity proportionately. But, MUST Try! Cheers.

Just so that you know they give the most genrous amount of meat and the korma is done so right, it enriches your palate. The raita that comes with it, needs praise too! They do give good amount of onions separately so you add it fresh to the curd just before eating.

I waited till trying it out for the second time to give my review. This place has always been in the limelight for providing the best Biryani in the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack region. It's so good that it will pull someone from Bhubaneswar all the way to Cuttack. You need to actually have a bit of patience to properly enjoy the food over here as you might not get a free seat most of the time. Although most other shops in Cuttack don't provide Biryani on all days of the week, this place does (except Monday, when it's completely closed). Other than its Biryani's it doesn't disappoint with its other items too. You should definitely try out it's Poda Chicken and the Tikkas.
I would have definitely given 5 stars because the taste is Really good And worth it. But the price of chicken biryani was 215/- which was fine but they charged extra 35/- as restaurant charges which was too much i guess..there were 5 pieces of chicken,but the biryani rice was less that what you would get in the outlet itself. So better go to the outlet and enjoy the delicious biryani,i would recommend that.
Having heard a lot about them from my sister n cousins, i ordered Mutton Biryani from here today. N for goodness sake wasnt all the hype so justified afterall. The taste, flavour n aroma was mindblowing, exactly the Biryani that i love. The rice was well seasoned, well cooked with the perfect balance of spices. The mutton pieces were succulent n just the right bite. And to top it even the Kachumber was so so good. Great packing too with onions separately packed. The best feeling of satiation ever. I am gonna be selecting u over all else when it comes to my Biryani cravings. Highly highly recommend them. Love n success be on u.

Dfc was famous for biriyani ND now it is the best biriyani center in cuttack. Taste, ambiance is also so good but only one problem is that the delivery of the food is very slow..so keep it in mind that to provide quicker delivery so the customers are happy to enjoy their food with no wastage of time.. keep it up

Well git the biryani delivered for a match in Barbati stadium it is certainly the best biryani ive had in cuttack. The preparation is food, perfectly cooked rice, succulent mutton, nice masalas used. Just the only issue its bit sweet. Certainly the best in cuttack go ahead

mutton biroyani vfm proposition wd 4 pieces.But dum masala not enough.still one of the best im CTC and BBSR.7-8 years back khandei(sangram hotel)was the best with proper dum masala amd very good mutton.But now their standard has deteriorated extensively. Dada Biriyani mostly on the plain side but tastes very good.Mutton quality is good though not excellent as I dont get the smell of pure mutton.
But if you compare with the famous names of Kolkata like Aminia,Shiraz and Arsalan the rice amd mutton both are better both in quality and value for money
(arsalan mutton os very soft amd soaked in ghee one cant tell about its purity from smell as it smells like oil and ghee)
Value for money restaurant. Famous for mutton biryani, Chinese items are not that good other continental dishes are good, can try with fresh tawa roti or lacha paratha.

Best of the places in Cuttack to have biryani. Good ambience and the quality of the service is good. I love this restaurant for their biryani.
I would say this place provides one of the best biriyanis in town. Must recommend for the biriyani lovers. But one suggestion, raita quality should be improved. And, the chicken pakoda was crispy from outside and tender from inside.
I have tried only 1 main dish.
1. Mutton Dum Biriyani 3.5-4* - it was less spicy but all the mutton pieces were well cooked. Taste was good.
2. Raita 3* - This side dish was below average in quality and quantity.
All employees behaviour is nice. Atmosphere was crowded. But service/ preparation of food will take bit time. So avoid your hunger you can try any soft drinks/starters before your main course.
Suggestion: Especially during the weekends, Make sure you go early to this place to avoid the peak time crowd.
This restaurant is best suited for takeaway rather than a dining experience.
(During weekends you might face difficulty in finding seats for more than 2-3 people for yourself & sometimes your order also gets delayed.)

But when matter of mutton biryani comes i think only about DFC
