Locals suggested the place when I went to davanagere on my ride.. the place has an old feel to it which is good.. benne dosa was very very very tasty...the spicy chutney and aloo gravy was also very good. Davangere Benne Dose tastes much better than how it looks. Service is quick and food is tasty. This place has limited seating but there is no need to wait for more than 10 minutes.
Visiting this place since years for it's authentic traditional taste of benne dosa. Things you can sum up and give a try is there butter dosa to balance the taste of overdoing butter which adds up extra calories you can try alongside single Khali dosa so that extra butter doesn't spoil your the tast

This is the place where the Davangere Benne Dosa was invented. It's still made on a wood fire. Extremely crispy outside and soft inside. It's served with mildly spiced palya and coconut chutney. Very good service.
Doses were very good. But a lot of butter, so you will need to compromise on health. Chutney is Spicer which will play with your taste buds. They do only dosas which is very famous here. One dosa costs ₹50 and you can order for fresh ones. Must try!!

It's the famous Davangeree Benee dosa.. I felt there was too much of butter and two dosa was more than enough.. They offer chutney and aloo masala in this.. After this, Had tea for 5 rupees in the smallest cup I have ever seen.. Overall u can try once to get the real taste
Amazing Butter dosa! It was crispy yet soft with amazing chutney and potato mash!! 2 butter dosas are more than enough for a person.
The staff was sooooo sweet and cooperative. They were very soft spoken and eager to serve us.
Quality of Davangere butter dosa was as good as it could be. Wonderfully crispy oozing with butter and accompanied by a typical Davangere clove coconut chutney and white plain mashed potato with boiled onions. It's a small establishment and the owner takes care of everybody.

Place is old but reputed for the mouth watering buttery special butter (benne dosa). Just delicious and buttery. Chutney they serve along with the dosa too is good combination. This is a must try dish if you visit Davangere. Love the texture and crispy feel of the dosa.

One of the top three names in the town for the benne dosaes. As of March 2021, they are serving a plate of 2 butter dosaes at Rs 70, 10rs cheaper than the GKH and 30rs lesser than RBD. But there is virtually nothing you can distinguish when it comes to taste.
