Awesome food and ambience
Very good restaurant with good ambience and an over the top service. It has a kind of open kitchen which assures us the top quality of food without any doubt about the hygiene of the place.
A must visit place in for foodies. Such tasty food. I ordered Murg Kali Mirch Tikka, as suggested by a friend and I enjoyed every bite of it.
My must-visit place every time I am in Doon. Superb ambience, great food. The choicest of menu offers a great variety. Corn kebabs are something very different and worth-trying. Chicken chaat leaves you craving for more as well. The Murg Kali Mirch Tikka is the ultimate offering, have had this repeatedly every time I have been here!!
Alwys go dere for biryani...... ds place biryani is sooo yummm ..... 😛, i taste almost evry plce biryani....bt no one can beat it ...in cumng 3-4 dys .i'l surly go again
I been to this place many times so it's drinks are pocket friendly but not the food. But yes they got a great range of quality food. Bar 4/5 on all grounds , food 3.5/5 overall.
I went to this restaurant with my family on new year's eve for having dinner.
Ambience is quite good , there's a bar too.
Service was quick
Food was okayish , not so amazing according to the prices. There are better options in the city in this price range.
I went to this place, it was a fine luxurious dinning area.
I ordered paneer tikka masala masala with butter naan , it was yummm..
Good place for family dinning and dates👍
Food=4/5
Ambience=4/5
Had some starters...paneer tikka etc. Main course was good as well...best was 'methi malai matar'.
Staff & ambience were fine. Good time spent☺️
Nice.
This place is really nice. I went for a lunch date here. The food was tasty. The staff was well behaved and the light music in a comfortable atmosphere made the date a very nice one. There is a bar attached to the restaurant where you can drink alcohol or they can serve it at your table as well.
Over all I really liked the place.
When I visit a place to eat, the taste and healthiness of food is what makes the most impact to me. The food at this place is very good and very tasty, and I should have given a easy 4 out of 5, but there is so much low lighting or dark atmosphere at this place, that I am compelled to give just a 3.5 out of 5.
There is so less lighting that you can't even see your own food! It creates a dark and gloomy/depressive atmosphere. The solution is not to replace warm lights with blue spectrum lights, but to increase the luminosity/wattage of the already placed warm lights/bulbs.
We ordered the non-veg course as well as the veg main course. Chicken Kali Mirch, chicken do pyaza , chicken biryani, shahi paneer, dal makhni and dal tadka. Everything tasted good especially the non-veg but the chicken biryani was not upto the mark. The bar section is really nice here😊
Good food.. Service was little slow. But all in all a good dining experience. Loved Afghani chicken, Biryani was good. Will visit it again and try out some other dishes.
Good Ambience.. food is great. Tried platter , paneer chilly, dal etc everything is A-1. Definitely go for it. On a bit expensive side. But worth it.
Had a chance of visiting this place on my friend's birthday. We went there for lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. This place has a good ambience and is perfectly dim lit.
We ordered Panner Lababdar, which was perfectly spicy and had a thick gravy, just the way I like it.
The other thing that we ordered was Panner Butter Masala, it was similar to the ones we normally get. Nothing extra ordinary.
My chicken lover friends ordered Butter Chicken and they told me it was finger licking good. Dal Bukhara was a dish that needs a special mention. It was something extra ordinary.
This place also has an in-house bar.
Good place for lunch usually quite over there. Not as pricey as other counterparts. Gravy food is good bar is ok. However they need to work on there starters you cannot serve paneer pakore with fancy name.
My wife's place is hands down one of the best eating place in dehradun and also me and family's personal favorite. The ambiance is soothing and the staff is courteous and friendly. But service can be a bit slow when it is at it's max capacity.
Coming to food, daal Bukhara is absolute must must have. Of all the places I've been, nothing can beat the flavor of daal Bukhara and that is only reason I posted this review. Apart from that, the food is always good here.
This is my fav place in Dehradun when it comes to taste, quality and service! I have visited thrice and every time my foodie experience was fantabulous! On my third visit with my family we ordered couple of soups to start with. The lemon coriander soup makes you want some more. The starter - paneer Kurkure is simply awesome, it's crunchy taste is well balanced with the filing. Murg Rara is definitely recommended if someone wants to have a break from the usual butter chicken or Kadhai chicken. All of this with courteous and super attentive staff! Keep it up.
Had been to this place on a birthday party. Mesmerizing ambiance, comfortable sitting & courteous staff. The place, I think, is among the favourite ones for our foreigner guests. Since I found many of the seats were occupied by them. Coming to our order, we had
Navratna Korma
Pea pulaav
Assorted breads
Raiyta
Shahi paneer
Drinks- lemonade
The food was well presented, tasty & in a good proportion. Though I found it a little pricely yet a decent place to not only make your wife's day but altogether your family & friends day out.
My Ratings- 3.5/5
Recommended stuff :
Afghani chicken
Garlic nan
Chinese??
At your own risk!
A little overpriced for that kind of ambience.
Definitely not 'My Wife's Place'😂😂😂
Nice and decent place to go out for lunch with friends.
Food - very good, we ordered tandoori chicken and drums of heaven. Tandoori chicken was very well cooked and was juicy.
Ambiance - good comfortable seating.
Others - they don't let you smoke inside and when you go out to smoke, they don't let you take the glasses along. That was kind of rude.
One of the best restaurants in Dehradun been here twice for family dinner and everything was Amazing... Delicious food good vibes a dedicated staff and sophisticated dine in😊
I had kasturi paneer, ginger chicken and rice n noodle dish. It was a regular meal but food presentation was great. Name of the dishes on menu card were simple. This was the most amazing thing I have ever noticed in a place like this. Authenticity with decency!!
Thank you for greeting my evening with aromatic flavours and crazy memories.
A very nice and cozy place for dining, located near dilaram. I had the best stuffed mushrooms here (till date) and was amazed to find it soooo good :-)
This place offers a very decent variety in food and drinks... A bit on the expensive side though but totally worth the price :-)
I had a mixed feeling for this restaurant. My wife and I first came at this place on 2012. We liked the ambience. Food was fine, but it was not what it used to be (probably chef got changed).
Food is tasty, drinks are good(P.S. Do not trust on the cranberries) but a little over priced.
Servicing and ambience is quite good, go to go for dates!!👍🏻
The ambience of the place is beautifully designed. This is a quite and peaceful place as there is less rush. Had a chance to visit the place on my friends bday and what I can't forget till date is their special dal Bukhara 😍 Apart from that everything else we had in Indian cusinie was also finger licking . My non- vegetarian friends too liked their chicken dishes.
Amazing ambience. Quick service and the staff as polite as well. The food is delicious and the variety will astonish you. Overall, a very nice experience.
On our way back from Musoorie, we decided to lunch in Dehradun. After getting some recommendations, we headed to My Wife’s place. The place has a nice cozy old world ambiance. It is quite spacious, and thankfully was not crowded, since it was a weekday. We ordered for mushroom galouti kebab, veg manchow soup, mutton pea soup and badami shorba. I didn’t like the kebabs much, they were a bit dry had more potatoes than mushrooms. All the soups were delicious and portions were good.

For main course we ordered palak corn, dal makhni, paneer laazawab, missi rotis and a keema naan. Service was good and our order didn't take long. All the gravies were nice, special mention for the palak corn and dal makhni. I guess people in these parts of India usually don't mess up black dals :)
Keema naan was excellent. It was crisp and thin, had a delicious charcoal flavour and the stuffing was just perfect. It was unarguably one of the best keema naans I've ever tasted
Highly recommended for it's nice ambiance and good food.
I have always visited this place whenever I go to Dehradun. Kebabs are must order there, particularly, Kali Mirch Kebab. Mutton has always been well prepared. Plain roti was not really crisp this time. While we pointed it out, they quickly served the best roti.
The mint based digester they serve after food is absolutely delicious.
It has a good ambience and the food is good too. Undoubtedly, the Mugulai is the best here. The lighting seems a bit dim and lack of elevator or proper staircase especially for senior citizens are two downsides. Greatly recommended!
Location is not an a problem as it is based right amongst the hustle bustle of the city. The place lacks the finish of fine dine yet does not stray far away from a good dining experience. No complains on the staff, service was executed decently. The place reflected a calm cosy charm of its own. However in the wee hours of the evening, this place is suppose to be packed with people. Small things such as the music can be improved upon. A live band won't be a bad idea. Decor certainly can do with some renovation to give a fine dine touch.
Food : the main aspect of all, here my wife's place scores well. The service was not only prompt, but the food was hot and served in a way that made the food tempting. Quantity was superb and the preparation was good. Staff is alert and is happy to help with suggestions on the menu. Certain preparations such as fish were just average. But overall no complains for the food and it's quantity in relation to the bucks spent. For dehraites, certainly worth a visit.
For men, it is really your wife's place because the restaurant is super classy and would make a good hole in your pockets :P
But no doubt the food here is super amazing!
Best for a date night where you see the beautiful lit bar and well groomed waiters to serve you!

Yeah. I always take my wife to this place when I am in dehradun. Well there are a couple more but this is a hit for good Indian food. Tried the Chinese but was dissatisfied with it. Service was good.

A famous restaurant near hathibharkala..... the ambience is very good and the tandoori is delicious but rest of the food is just okay....not so good... the service is fine.
I went with my family for a trip and after flight got delayed, we landed at around 1015 pm. At around 1115 pm, this place was the only one which was open. And we were so satisfied and happy with the ambience and the food. The taste and quality of the food was top notch. Highly recommended.
I got attracted to this place in doon because of the name.... Enticing... So finally on my annual visit to family decided to hit the place for dinner.... Bro in law and self with our better halves and kidos.... Location: right on rajput road.... So easily locatable however do keep a watch out for their signage which is on the first and second floor .....this is doon so no issues on parking..... Ambience is classy and sophisticated ... Formal ... They have a small bar area with minimum seating and enclosed so that it is slightly aloof from the main dining area.... Cute bar... Gave a cozy feeling... We settled at one of their big tables as we were 7 in total... Good selection of bat menu including scotch etc...one thing to remember is that they have a 50 ml drinks... Not 30 ml or 60 ml... But 50 ml....in snacks we tried harabhara kebab, chicken tikka, chicken hariyali tikka, paneer etc... And all very well cooked, nice quantity, lovely taste.... We came in a bit early and were slightly tired hence did not go for the main course.... But the next time we visiting doon again... 100% going to my wife's place with my wife for a lovely night out....
One of the best rester aunt in Dehradun, this place is seriously where you wanna go with your family. The ambience is ok ok, service is excellent, food is good. The main let down is the price, its very expensive as you may expect in one of the leading places of a city. Try their non veg soups, i like almost everything under that. They have a bar also and the crowd is good too. Recommended once, Budget-1500 per 2 person, without drinks.
If Your Looking For Decent Mughalai Cusine When In Dehradun This Place Would Be One Of Them.
Start Off With The Non-Veg Platter And Move Onto Butter Chicken And Dal Makhani For Mains.
This place is one of the few restaurants in the city to have decent quality food for the price. I am happy that Doonites would now get chance to experiment with these new restaurants available.
The ambiance at the restaurant is good, with candle lights, live orchestra (yes live orchestra, which is a rarity), mood lights and calm quiet environment. The food is good, with a delightful assortment of dishes, both in vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu. Go there as a couple or a family, and I am sure you won't be disappointed.
They have a nicely stocked-up bar too, if you want to enjoy some good quality alcohol with your food.
They served us complimentary sparkling wine, when we went for a dinner.
Overall, a must-visit place for a calm, delicious dining experience.
This restaurant is totally worth the bucks spent and serves authentic mughlai cuisine. The location is fantastic. Over the years the upkeep hasnt been that good and the place look down a bit rundown now but rest assured the food is delectable. Had my all time favourite tandoori chicken and butter chicken. One of the few places that serves caramel custard is just the cherry on the top.
Visited this place with my family during my trip to dehradun. My uncle who ws a localite suggested to try this restro on rajpur road. And yes he was right place has a good ambeince and almost full in the evenings. We got a table aftr 10 min and food we ordered was good including mouthmelting desserts. Loved my experience.
The place is fantastic, the service and overall atmosphere is great. Relative to most Indian restaurants the portions are about 5/6 the size, but the flavor is 3-4x better than any of the other restaurants that serve this type of cuisine. But it is lit bit expensive Went to this place last year panner tikka masal and murg kadhai masala . , the flavours were blended well , the chef has done its part the panner was tenderly cooked the gravy was delicious and mouth watering .
Have been here.. in 2013 july....
Was with my wife nd a frnd... very nice place.... wel decorated nd furnished restraunt... ambience is grt... fetl so welcome by the hospitality of the staff... nd its very clean....
Now... the main thing... the food...
Lovely food.. enjoyed the taste... nd grt service ...
Nice place, good food, ambience was ok ok.
Went out to dine after a long time in doon due to bad experiences in the past, but this met expectations.
Recently visited the place which a fine dine restaurant serving the best quality food
We ordered around 4 starters and 4 main course which had the optimum quantity and great quality that tasted really good
Bar is also available
The service was very quick and the staff was very polite
over all it was a really good experience
Ordered lunch from this place today.
The chicken seekh kabab was very soft and packed with flavour served with the tradition mint chutney.
The Afghani chicken was very succulent and creamy.
Overall had a wonderful delivery experience.
If you guys crazy for Non veg food ( My wifz place ) is one of the best place to eat
5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating for Food
5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For Staff & Service
Overall i am very very satisfied with taste 😍🤤
I went to this beautiful place My wifz place 😍
It is a fine dine in Dehradun and an amazing place to hangout with your friends and family. They have one of the delicious food I have ever tasted in Dehradun, I have shared few pictures of what I ate there. I am in love with ambience which is warm and comfortable. I also have had a trippy drink from their bar which actually tasted good. Do visit this place I am sure you will have a great experience 💕🥘
Really a great place the food is very tasty and services also quite fast moreover we can get drinks also
There are multiple options to dine out in the city but somehow My wifez place is my go to option. The long glass of the kitchen enables you to see the process of preparation of your meal till it reaches your table, particularly the breads. There is wide range of dishes obviously but the one that I truly like is Bhuna Ghost. They have a bar too. They offer home delivery service as well just inquire about minimum order and distance. Its a nice place to go to with family for a flavourful time.
The food & service was good. Though, the price could have been cheaper
Great Ambience, amazing food and very well priced. Definitely recommended.
The ambience is a little on the darker side for selfie lovers. The food was good. We had Murgh Tikka Nawabi, very soft and succulent boneless Chicken in a thick creamy gravy. We also had their Gosht Hyderabadi Biryani. It could almost pass as the authentic Hyderabadi Biryani. Came with Raita. Their Garlic Naan was really good, not so much garlic to give a bad garlic breath afterwards, and soft, with a hint of red chillies. And there's a bar as well.
The food was really tasty and the place was also nice one. It is a high budget restaurant but you will definitely like the ambiance. They all serve drinks like cocktails if you want to have that can visit here.
Amazing staff and excellent food as usual.
So I tried this haryali kebab and it was just awesome and perfectly cooked I recommend you guys to please try this out and have it !!
An amazing place to have dinner with your family. Starters and drinks are awesome.
There is a scope of improvement in the veg main course but still it is musc better than most of the fine dine restaurants out there in Dehradun.
This place does make its place in the list of best family fine dine places in Dehradun.
Good place to spend dining and bar at weekends
It is one of the fine dinning restaurant of the dehradun. They participate in food festival and have some menu according to that. One can go and try that. I did the dinner there. The food was tasty. The service was good. The chana masala was nice. Although I don't like the chocolate ice cream. The price are proportional to food quality. They are bit towards higher side. Overall it is a good restaurant.
Absolutely impeccable neat ambience. Everything tastes just delicious! Staff is very courteous and gentle and patient. Indian or Chinese, their every item is a niche product in itself and flavourful. Price is slightly on the higher side but totally worth every penny. Will visit again, soon...
