The view that you get from Chhaya cafe is unmatchable. Just order a nice, warm cappuccino, get yourself a couple of good books and enjoy the Himalayan view on a monsoon evening and chill. This is exactly what I did and absolutely loved my time here. Although, I did not eat anything, but the sheer quiet and tranquil time I spent here during the evening was enough for me to warrant a come back, which I shall be doing soon. Like, really soon. Good coffee, superb ambience and awesome view makes up for every stress and tension that you might have in your life! ❤️

Coming here was such a nice experience. The interiors are really beautiful with a panoramic view of the mountains. I really recommend you try the coffee mocha, it was so delicious. There’s seating outside, perfect to catch some sunlight and eat delicious food.

Very classy restaurant with a pleasant and stylish interior. Well suited location for peace lover near one of the main Rajpur road. Nice staff. A wide menu with both vegan and not vegan choices. Food was pretty good. A Variety of dishes as well as a Bakery menu. Very good coffee. Price are worth and I will emphasize on location because of view from this cafe is of another level..you can enjoy natural beauty of dehradun and best for meetings also. Thank you so much to the owner of the cafe she is very polite and genuine person...All bakery items prepared by cafe's staff... What is eye catching is that they are selling world class pure silk dresses , bags , masks and much more..most important thing is there are so many good books which makes you more positive towards life and I haven't seen all in one cafe for shopping, hangout and all these services... IMPORTANT NEWS--- CAFE IS CLOSED FROM 23rd NIGHT TO 26th NIGHT....

This is a place unique to Dehradun... it has soul. It has a certain quaintness, lack of ambition, and commercialisation. It is boutique and, most importantly, run entirely by women. Kind women. Chilled out vibes, beautiful coffee, decent bakery and food, and a pretty nursery to soothe your senses. Wish they had local food too in their menu to treat a traveller's palette as well...

Food is luscious but the biggest disappointment was toasted bagels with jam. Chicken momos were delicious and the chutney was piquant. Pizza was OK. They serve self made bread, cookie u can try them too just for rs. 15 or 20 each. Price of bagels are not good according to the quality of it but otherwise it’s affordable. Lassi, apple mojito and coffee were also good. The place is cozy, ample of seating space. It has roof top seating and indoor seating aswell. The view from the roof is just mesmerising, the mountains , the serenity. It look even more beautiful in eve. Place is not easy to reach.ambience is good. Staff is polite . Service is quick. Interior is admirable. Must visit. Closed on monday.

This place is my personal favourite as you can enjoy your food with a beautiful view of the hill. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere of the cafe is good. They have a huge variety of coffees and they also bake fresh desserts. The food is appetizing. Overall its a must visit place!

This place has always been my favourite. While you enter you cannot tell what this place has to offer. While crossing the isle and entering the cafe, all you see are small green planters hanging, thats gives a cozy feeling of home. Cafe is well decorated and has a beautiful view from inside. They have a open terrace sitting also which opens it to the Rajpur hills. The staff is sweet and is mostly run by women. They serve all type of baked stuff and now days also few south Indian delicacies like Dosa and idli. The food is yummy and and you can smell that home cooked fragrance in them and is totally affordable and pocket friendly. The desserts are must try and can never forget to order pancakes. This cozy place has peaceful ambiance as its little away from the road. I really love how they have incorporated greenery and plants in the decor. It is the best place to sit and relax and read a book in a corner with a picturesque windows in front of you. The warmth of this place will make you want to come here often.
