The ambience is very nice. I didn't expect a pub to be this good in a small city like Dehradun. Outside ambience is pretty sweet, one can come here for a peaceful brunch and enjoy the scenic view of mussoorie hills. Especially recommended to visit during cloudy weather.
The food and drinks are up to the mark and the overall branding of the place is done pretty nicely. A must visit!
Food is good but its more of party place. So many times u have to stand and wait. It feels too crouded sometimes. Food taste is average.

The food was really good. So was the Koko punch cocktail we had. But the waiter mixed up our drinks and was unwilling to accept his mistake.

I've been to Dehradun so many times, but this was the first time I visited GIP. Lovely ambience, warm welcome. We visited on a Tuesday and they have this amazing offer running for ladies - Thirsty Tuesday. More like the ladies night!The music is good, service is excellent.We loved the Pav Bhaji fondue, and the Biryani Aranchini.

I had visited the great indian pub a few days ago
Went with my friends.
Ambience of the pub is obviously great. They have outdoor sitting arrangement as well. Washrooms are quite clean.
Food is actually good. No doubt
I had paneer tikka in starters which tasted really delicious
White sauce creamy pasta which was again really nice.
Fries platter which had masala fires, plain salted potato wedges.
And in beverages we had lemon iced tea which was good
Hot chocolate and mocktail( forgotten the name)
Everything was nice what I didn't like was that price did not match the quantity of the food.
Quantity is quite quite less and food is expensive.

Me and my friend were on our way back to Delhi after a long trekking expedition. We reached Dun bit early and had about 3-4 hours of free time before we catch our train. We decided to chill here considering its high rating. Indeed the place lives up to its high ratings - great music with seating area both outdoors and indoors. As soon as you open the menu and go through the quirky contents you start getting the gastronomical hints. Having said that, food is amazing we majorly ordered light snacks like palak chat, vada pav, some fusion parantha and all of them were extremely yum with right kind of spice level. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. Hospitality is on point. If you are somebody who is missing out the big city chilling after spending days in the mountains or probably is bored of solace. This place is the perfect pick!
Ambiance is good and 'll get beautiful view of Mussoorie. Food is average. The only disappointing thing is slow service and the untrained staff, they can't handle weekend crowd.
Probably thee only descent pub in town. Its well built and has an excellent terrace space with great views of Mussoorie.
Food - chicken tikka with tamarind is a great alternative to the usual ones. Tandoori chicken is succulent and 'masaledaar' with the right amount of spice and tanginess. The pizzas are good and of a good size. Biryani definitely is the best they offer amongst the indian dishes.
Beverage - good options for beer and descent cocktails. Beer tubs are of good value.
Service - Is very good and staff is attentive even on Saturday nights when the place gets full.
Overall, a good, clean, place to enjoy a weekend.

Went here on a saturday night and liked the place. Slowly the crowd started coming in and it was full. The live performance was really amazing and the band quite good. The food is also good here.
We were 4 friends and on our way back from mussoorie to delhi we stayed for a night in dehradun.
As we didn't have anything to do in our rooms, we planned to go out and have some fun.
It was holi on that day so most of the clubs and cafes were closed.
We were on roads looking for some place to chill and got our eyes on the GREAT INDIAN PUB.
a few minutes back we also asked from some pedestrians about the best cafe in town and they also suggested us to go to GIP.
We opted to sit in balcony which was a good decision as the weather was amazing and we could see MUSSOORIE lights in between other mountains.
Crowd was lit.
This place made our night.
We had loads of fun and the bartender showed some marvelous skills.
We rarely get good sheesha in cafes nowadays,but GIP didn't disappoint us.
Would recommend it to all the dehradun people.

One of the best place to hangout in dehradun. It has both open and closed sitting area. The place is very spacious and the food served is awesome. You will find a large variety of items in the menu and definitely each of them brings justice in terms of taste.

The best pub in town. Great music, ambience, foods and drinks. Our personal favourite is chicken and chicken cutlets. Sharabi murgi is a must try. Rates are quite expensive, 1500 for two is sufficient without drinks. But it’s a must try place.

1. Palak patta chat - very unique and crispy at the same time. Served with curd.
2. Veg pizza - super duper cheesy and was loaded with veggies
3. Kiwi mint mocktail
4. Paneer tikka - very soft and tender
5. Chicken 65 - chicken stuffed in bread peices like a sandwich.
6. Chocolate chusspa - most delicious among all. The best dessert you can ever have.

We tried their Pizzas which were mind-blowing. Esp. their Chicken Keema Pizza and Chicken Barbeque Pizza. Their Vodka Golgappe are stellar... Both in presentation and taste.
Their Veg and Non Veg Platters are really great. Amazing variety in both. Their Cocktails are so amazing. Don't miss their LIIT !!!

This is one of the best pubs I have been to in India..YES, India! The reason I say this is because no other city would offer you a breathtaking view of the Mussoorie hills from their rooftop. The evening I went there was in November, so it was cold. The ambience and music was equally good. We just had a drink with hooka so wouldn't comment on the food. The place is worth visiting though, even if the food turns out to be below par.
I visited this place in its initials days of launching and then went after 2 years. What a tremendous change and that too a good one. Never thought Dehradun will ever have this kind of place at all.

The most picturesque party place in doon. This also seems to be the most crowded and lively place to be on the weekends.
So we were 7 people on my birthday which also happened to be a weekend. We ordered 5 - Pack of six Budweisers, fruit punch, Cheese Nachos, Peanut Masala, a Chilli mushroom, a veg tandoori platter, dal makhani, indian breads and some other snacks i dont really remember. I ended up paying 11K for the whole party and i believe the experience was completely worth it.
The food was mostly good, the drinks were great, specially the fruit punch.
GIP offers both rooftop and inside seating. The rooftop is beautiful with the hillside view of mussorie with the lights twinkling at a distance.
Like - Lively ambience, beautiful rooftop, live perfomances, good food, exhaustive drinks menu.

Really a good place present at the peak location of Doon .The interior of this place is really very good .You can surely visit this place if you wanna watch a cricket match on big screen with your friends and dine .
The Alfredo pasta was really very creamy ,perfectly cook ,the pasta had its bite,the olives were fresh .Would love to visit it again probably on #IndiaVsPakistan match type occasions.

GIP is one of the best place to hangout in doon . Be it the ambience ,the food, the music being played there . Everything is on point. Only drawback was pizza which was okayish to have. Highly recommended are Biryani balls , Pav bhaji found You and Chilly Mushrooms. In mocktails , Do Try thai Refresher and chilly strawberry Mojito. Heard a lot about this Fine dine Restaurant , Cafe And Bar Located At Rajpur Road. Finally Visited it with my friends and It is On the 4th floor. With Pretty Decor and Some Soothing Ambience , This is not a place to be missed out when in Dehradun. I had Spicy Strawberry mojito and Oreo Shake Which Tasted Amazing and was Beautifully Presented. Then we had Jodhpur Special Pizza , Which was Very well Cooked and Had Thin Crust. Quarter Bar Fries Platter was a True Delight to have for all the fries lovers. I also Had Mango Smoothie which was alluring and Perfect in taste. In main course , I had Kurumalaku Paneer which was the best paneer dish I had till date. Had a great time here. Love the place and the music. It's a full on package food is great but that day.... chicken platter which is called mogamboo khush hua....was not so great isly mogamboo khush nhi hua....or 1 star kam kar diya......apart from it everything was perfect. -The manager and the staff can sometimes come off rude
-The service is questionable
-The music is always way too loud on the inside
-Being a pub where they check your ID for entrance, they shouldn't allow children, but every single time I have gone there are usually small children running around which is VERY off putting.
The last thing I would say is that it's a little expensive but I wouldn't call it a con because the value for money is definitely there

The place is just so remarkable! Loved the ambience. Had some drinks. The Mezze Platter was delicious. Also, tried the stuffed tangdi kebab and achari cilantro chicken skewers which were absolutely tasty! They have good Chinese cuisine too. The chilly paneer and veg. Noodles is also a must try!

This place is everything you'd like a modern day pub to be. Situated on the Rajpur Road before Pacific Mall, this place offers a mind-blowing gastronomical experience and is every foodie's dream come true. I mean one look at the menu and you can tell that lots of thought,love and creativity has gone into it's making. And dayum the ambience of the place! Indian contemporary decor with artifacts ranging from old paintings to wooden faces of mythological figures to steel utensils on the wall to glass lamps, this place has everything at their proper place. The place even has a live band performing on the weekends.
Coming to the food, you'd know what I'm talking about once you taste it. Words kind of don't do proper justice. We had a full course meal right from the starters to the desserts. Everything we ate was amazing and absolutely recommended.

Very nice ambience. Food quality good..This pub has 3 type of sitting arrangement..one is covered then semi covered and open ...so u get choice where to sit nd enjoy..Live music enhance ur visit...

We had the best experience, loved the food, loved the timely service n amazing recommendations by the staff - all in a cozy n classy outdoor setting with live music playing in the background. Big shout out to the 3 friends who conceptualized the place and put their hearts into giving Doon a perfect pub.
