This is my overall review of the last two visits, I made in the interval of 4 months. Staff is very polite and courteous. I got to try the most the most Authentic Pesto Sauce Pasta in town. In my last visit I found some drawbacks in service, but there is a new makeover in the way BMG gives hospitality to it's customer. I am really happy to have spent my time here. Thank you, BMG. I will visit again with my family.

A very beautifully done place in terms of interiors. Have quite many corners for Instagram worthy pictures.
Tried their cheese nachos- nice although the cheese wasn't that liquidly the nachos were still crunchy.

The chicken seelkand is yet another one from my favourite dishes. The best non-veg starter I’ve had so far. Definitely, is a little less in the quantity compared to the amount one pays for it, and also if more than two people are sharing it.
I have also tried the grilled cottage cheese steak which is good!
The chocolate momos is something different- hot chocolate oozing out of the deep fried momos.. and if you love the two separately then definitely try this combo out!
The place is nice and service and presentation is also good. The food was yummy. Had chilli potato and grilled paneer tikka sandwich which was served with fries. Also had brownie shake(which was amazing), butterscotch shake and cold coffee with ice cream. Overall, the place is very nice and the prices are also reasonable.

BMG is a place where you can treat your tastebuds while you're having a good time. its for those cheat days when you want to binge eat. The brownie shake is a gem! The tandoori items (chicken and paneer tikka) are amazing. Overall, its a place to have a great time and eat good food.

BMG is my second favourite in Dehradun. A great place to hangout with your friends. Very vibrant ambience and welcoming staff people. Coming to food, it is always nicely presented and with great taste as well. They make very yummy Alfredo Pasta. This is a wholesome family fun restaurant.There was plenty to eat with choice of Prawns,chicken ,lamb,cottage cheese etc different different cousine.Its a eat all you can kind of place and is very popular for young people with ravenous appetite.There is choice of fish,lamb and chicken with many choices of vegetarian curries in the main course.
The best part is a really large variety of deserts .I loved the many different choices.The restaurant is very popular for group meals and offers very good value for money.We have been there a few times with our friends.

Dehradun is a city where I looked out for other options than the usual Indian and Chinese fare. Bmg all day dining was where the search ended for unusual food.
Nestled among a green jungle with outdoor as well as indoor seating this place would surely be a great place for casual hangouts.
We started up with a pink soda based drink, refreshing and a balance of sweet and sour!
The paneer Mexican rolls that came next tantalised my tasted, yummy is all I could tell and certainly something I've never had before.
Chicken 65 done up the North Indian way did not disappoint, I don't know what it was tossed in,different yet nice.
We snuggled up a mushroom cappuccino in between, tasted good but I like my soup a lil thinner than it was.
Then came the legendary fish and chips and trust me it's one of the best I've had outside my city(kolkata), it was certainly the star dish of the day.
The heaven on earth shake was simply kept up to its name. With the perfect consistency and lovely flavours.
We ended up with chocolate Momo's, something which did not seem very common in this part of the country.
Innovations are the forte of this place.

Visited this cafe last night itself. Ordered 1x2 veg hot n sour soup along with a golden gate vegetarian pizza. The pizza was great with a thin crust and the absolute crunch that one likes. But the soup was way too too spicy that we had to request them to reduce the spiciness. After sending the soups bak... We waited for a good time... But wen the soup did come back... It was nice on the staff's part to ask us whether the soup was okay now.... But still the soup was not exactly how we wanted.. And it still contained the extreme punch of spiciness in it. BMG is a place which cannot be spotted easily despite of it being located at the main Jakhan ,Rajpur Road . All you have to do is spot the direction board which is diplayed on the divider .

A really good presentation of food. The quantity of cold coffee was really less :'(.

Be it is innovative menu or close to nature outdoor seating and not to miss the LIVE Music... it's got everything. Coming to the food - I personally Love the Keema paratha and have over the course of time tried all the starters. While the taste is second to none, it's the presentation that really makes the food stands out. You could actually see it in some of the pics other reviewers have posted here.
I have been wanting to write this one for long and I think BMG deserves this even more as it has for sometime now not only maintained the food and ambience Standards but further improved it...
So if you are kind of bored with the run of the mill restuarants around the Ashley halls area and need good food, live music, a wonderful staff and courteous owner ( don't be surprised if you see him run you thru the menu and help u out with the order) then this is the place for you.

To the photography buffs - this place is for you, with a specific setting for fantastic backgrounds in your pictures. You will find all sorts of props and placards for clicking away. The place offers both indoors and outdoors seating areas. Outdoor seating allows you to smoke if you want to which is why I never chose to sit outside coz the smoke chokes me. The food is good offering some special delicacies like the malabari paratha. Food tastes decent and the manager in particular is very welcoming and helpful. The best part is the presentation of the food which is very innovative and attractive. They serve food in all kinds of exotic utensils some of which you can find attached to this review. My little cousins enjoyed clicking away to glory in the place.

A nice and a cool place to go with friends and love done. The atmosphere is quite pleasant, they provide both indoor as well as outdoor sitting. Talking about the food and shake department, it's worth the money you pay for it. The rates are reasonable. But what I found was that the rate at which the hookah was given was quite high. Despite the fact that at present they would only serve you with limited varieties of flavour like two or three. Improvement is required in serving department and more flavour needs to be added in hookah department with reconsidering the price they are being served (rates should be a little less).

Went this place few days back with my friends. This place is located near Pacific mall.The entrance is ok ok but this place has beautiful interiors.. As we enter through the door there is a beautiful yellow coloured bicycle with a basket full of flowers.. Walls are decorated with posters and beautiful quotes. They have a saperate selfie section.. And pretty lanterns and lights are hanged all around the place.. Sitting arrangement is also good.. So we started with apple strawberry salad. BMG- Be My Guest is a place worth trying. Its located in Jakhan.
You enter the alley and open the doors of BMG, a different aura strikes. As soon as you enter its an awe moment for the beautiful interiors with quotes on the walls. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating available and the outdoor seating offers you a view of the kitchen.
Live music is part of the evenings on the weekends.

This was the best of all.
My long wait for having chocolate momos was finally over. They were extremely good.
Toffee pie was soft and chewy.
Chocolate strawberries, strawberries coated with chocolate tasted awesome.
The only disappointment is lack of proper parking.
Its definitely a recommended place.

Cafe BMG All day dining is situated on the Rajpur Road near Pacific Mall. A narrow alley decorated with quirky posters about food leading up to the comfortable space,this place has provisions both for inside and outside seating. Had a get together with a group of friends at this place.
The seating arrangement is good and the outside seating has the view of the kitchen as well. The place organises live music on the weekends. The service is extraordinary with friendly staff who are eager to host you.

Burglette is a Cafe BMG invention and boy ! That is some great food. Chicken cheese chilli burglette and mushroom burglette were both fantastic.Mezze paltter was a Lebanese preparation and was good. Chicken Seelkand was extraordinary with cheese filling and was so juicy.
I'm generally not a fan of pesto sauce but boy ! Do they serve some good chicken pesto sauce pasta at BMG. The BMG special thin crust chicken pizza was mind-blowing and deserves a special mention.
In the main course, Malabari paratha deserves all the spotlight. Amazing taste,amazing presentation. Chicken takatak went great with the paratha as well as other assorted breads.
All three desserts we ordered were great but chocolate strawberry would have tasted better with white chocolate. The banana toffee pie was chewy and so delicious.
We had mocktails to accompany our food and I had LIIT which was strong and tasted heavenly.
What catches the eye most at BMG is their amazing presentation. Quirky plates, vehicle shaped utensils, bong shaped flasks for drinks, these things make it stand out. Absolutely loved the place and sure shot recommended.

Valentine Week could never been so loving than this one being at BMG! Well, I would say it’s not the love but the essence of good food in the air. ;)
After TGIP, BMG is yet another gastropub all set to surprise we Doonites.
Me & my foodie friends got an opportunity to visit this Restro this Saturday & were really enchanted by its beauty. Located just before Pacific Mall, Rajpur Road, BMG is just more than what you can expect from this love city.
We had ordered a long list of their specialties and the list follows like this-
Salad :
• Apple Strawberry Salad
Something unique I have tasted. I just used to skip the salad part, but BMG’s this salad was totally an exception to my this hatred. The roasted crunchy almonds, fresh strawberries & other green fruits mixed with lemon juice able to get you a sudden refreshment. 4.5/5

Mezze Platter has something that I have always seen in my favourite foody shows but regretted to not have tasted it here in Doon. In this platter you’ll get Pita bread, Tahini, a patty & a small portion of fresh green tangy green mixture. Ratings- 5/5
Mocktails & Shakes :

• Sangria
Mocktails were satisfactory. Sangria Cocktail- an exotic red wine with fresh apple dices into it. I felt a bitter ting on a higher note. Ratings- 3/5

Here I cant resist appreciating the Malabari Parantha both veg & non veg. This dish is BMG’s specialty and a must order dish if you are visiting BMG. Where the veg one had paneer bhurji filling in it, the non veg one included a spicy chicken keema filling with the gravy & salad aside.

I am too choosy for the dessert part & generally avoid the too sugary ones. BMG’s chocolate momos, choco strawberries were just exceptional. I wonder to see this side of momos. Again a must try one. Ratings- 5/5
To conclude it all, I am amazingly touched by BMG’s presentation style, the service & ofcourse the food quality. Though I felt some cons too-
• Servers attending us were a little confused in taking & delivering our placed orders, especially in case of Mocktails & Shakes.
• I was very disappointed since they have No Parking space.
• Though the indoor ambiance was just perfect & amazing, yet they failed to maintain the outdoor ones.
• I felt the portions of the meal in a plate (you order) were a little small. I wonder if it would be enough for a couple ordering just a plate.
At last I would like to appreciate the Owner of the Restro, very frank & energetic collaborating with the departments from Bar to Kitchen to looking after guests.
I will definitely recommend this restro to my loved ones.

This place is very amazing with great food. Range of menu was prety wide. I just went crazy with the aura around. Interiors and environment was very intresting and pleasing. The food here just made my day. I hady yummy drinks and shakes here. It was kinda food paradise.
This place offers the best starters from around the planet💟👉Mezze Platter, Chicken Cheese Chilli Burglette, Mushroom Burglette, Shanghai Spring Roll, Veg Mexican Roll, Jalapeño Cheese Croquettes, Chilli Chicken Ghoslai. I felt, Noor-e-ali Chicken was a bit uncooked.
BMG Special Non-veg Pizza was great. I like the crust and the spiced pices of chicken. Chicken Tawa Takatak was nice and firm, nice and flavourful and so were all the chicken dishes.

Out of a sudden we planned to visit this place, because this was on my to-do list. The place is awesome with brilliant interiors. They every Saturday and Sunday even organise a live music session. We started off with salad, it was an apple strawberry salad. Though not a big fan of salads, but this tasted pretty good. Then according to group members, we ordered a variety of starters. Mezze Platter, Chicken Cheese Burglette, Veg-Mexican Roll, Jalapeño Cheese croquettes, Pesto Sauce Chicken and BMG special Non-veg pizza. These all were great, especially the burglette(its a burger omlette) one of the coolest thing they have. In main course we had Grilled Cottage Cheese Stick, Malabari Non-veg Paratha, Chicken Tawa takatak and kadhai Paneer. Without any doubt they lived to our expectation. Do try *Malabari Paratha. Desserts we had were Dark Chocolate Momos, Toffee Pie and Chocolate Strawberries. These were all yumm. Would recommend this place to all. We stopped here for some light snacks. In no way we could have guessed about the beautiful ambience of the restraunt while entering through the narrow entrance. The painted bicycle, curved chairs, hanging flower pots were treat for our eyes.
The service was really good and the items in the menu suggested by the manager completely satisfied our taste buds.
We tried Black current shake, oreo shake, snickers shake, garlic bread and mexican pizza.
Our next visit to the place was planned keeping in mind the musical saturday night (performance by local band) and the bar which is operative only on weekends. This time we tried mutton keema paratha (which is their speciality), butter chicken and chicken spring rolls. The service was bit slow compared to our earlier visit and we also faced some parking problems because of full house. Apart form these two small short comings we greatly enjoyed the meal and music.
Prices are also descent. Group of four can feast on good non-veg food and shakes in under 1500 bucks.
Will surely visit this place again in my next visit to the city.
Tip- if your in town during weekends do visit this place for awesome indi music and drinks.

Coincidentally I was in the jhakan area of dehradun for spending vacation with family. Searching for restaurants in the area found about BMG and the great reviews so decided to give it a visit. We visited on Monday night so the place was totally empty. The entrance is funky with bicycle wheels and led lights along the way. The seating is indoors and outdoors both. The decor is well described in many other reviews, so will not go into details.
Food, based on reviews we tried their signature dish Malabar paratha. It is nicely served on a small handcart. It is actually a paratha filled (not stuffed) with dry mutton kheema. It's the first photo on their main zomato page. It is served with gravy of same kheema. We also tried the chicken tawa takatak which was a good choice over traditional butter chicken. It is also served on actual tawa.
Drinks, they serve it only on weekend so not able to sample same.
Pricing and quality, the pricing is reasonable and the quality is well upto the mark.
Meal for 2 + 1 approx 700 rs.
Over all a good experience of dehradun and wish it more successful.
They also have live performances and picture nights on certain days.

Its a great thing that Dehradun is adopting the "CAFE" culture and almost all brands have opened or in the queue of opening. Be My Guest charms you while you walk down the narrow path to the main entrance. The ambience itself gives a positive vibe. We decided to sit outside as it was a Saturday night and a heavy rush was expected. The live music was melodious to ears, kudos to the guitarist. Food was beautufully decorated with love. We had pink sauce pasta, Butter chicken and Dal Makhni combos and Exotic Garlic Bread. The pallette was satisfying and tasty. A slight concern is about the parking, its dusty and very inconvenient. Rest, an assured winner, this place can never disappoint and a must visit for all those who will to spend some quality and tasty moments.
P.S.- Its advisable to sit inside when no live performance/band is present, as outside isnt cozy, its rustic. Do ask for extra rooafza is pink lemonade, they will serve you with a smile.

BMG, a cool place to hang out with your friends on the weekend. They have a weekend liquor license and Hookah. The food is above average and the service is a bit slow but manageable. Ambiance is perfect. The pick of the food was Kebabs.

Ambiance - if you are dining inside or outside BMG has something to please you on the inside its the chic ambiance that will add to your outing the outside is obviously karaoke
Service - great staff the manager himself responds to your queries and everybody work as a team to make your experience memorable. Though every server was awesome do ask for Mr. Sumit and stay back and enjoy your meal.
Price - considering the quality of the food... Its good..
Cons
1. The musician... The band was great but the singer was not at all melodious... At times the music was unbearable..
Final verdict- if you haven't been to BMG you are missing something great
Such a quaint little cafe perfect for a warm evening if you love the old style decor. Tried the coffee, soup & nomos here & would recommend the food based on these few . This place makes you want to sit here for hours with a book. Only downer was the 80s sad Bollywood music, but from what the staff told us there's a band on weekends. A must visit if you're in dehradun

We went here 2 of us just to grab a snack. It looks interesting at the entrance, the name too is quite unusual. We entered and it's a beautiful garden like space. Lots of ferry lights, winged chairs, art work on the walls, industrial interiors with Edison bulbs, cycle wheels and soo much more. The service was spot on . Very pleasant staff,extremely polite and they know the menu really well. That's was a 5/5. The menu itself is quite vast. Lots of variety. We ordered a chilly chicken dry, a kit kat shake and a brownie shake. We paid 530 bucks for this which I thought was alot.the shakes were disappointing . They are watery and 110 bucks without taxes for a shake like that is way too much. Iv had flaw less shakes for 120 bucks inclusive of taxes in cities like Bangalore and Delhi so this is a super bummer for dehradun pricing. The chilly chicken was good. Tasty and spicy. I really think they need to work on their pricing. They have karaoke nights and bands playing on weekends which is awesome ! May go back to see that.
What an eye pleasing and calm ambience it has . The entrance might not give you this feel but with every single step you will get to see how beautiful the place is . Ambience will definitely have 5/5.

My friend suggested me this place and I was keen on trying it out. The ambience is good and décor is pretty. The service wasn't that great but the food was alright. If you love taking pictures, you can go crazy with the few props provided. Decent place to hang out.
So finally I went there....I personally love the atmosphere of BMG..nd music,sitting arrangement,food,all are good,,me and my friend have mutually a favorite dinning of where we both usually seat...we were ordered katthi roll,virgin mojito,masala cola,cold coffee,,burger,white sauce pasta,,and we enjoyed alot,,
It's a nice cafe but you won't see the big board of the name it's a small place in the rajpur road. The ambience is nice.

The place is nice. Good interiors. Nicely decorated. Outdoor seating is also available. The food is equally good. The prices are moderate. The brownie shake is amazing. It's a must have. Sometimes live band performances are also organised. One point less as there is not enough parking space for bigger vehicles like cars.

It's a hidden gem. From the outside it seems like nothing but inside they've created a wonderful atmosphere. I think people haven't found it yet that's why it isn't so popular. Their food is delicious and the price incredible. We'll done guys. I'm a regular costumer now.
Dainty little cafe has all the quirky decor and good food. Apt for a casual evening for catch up with old friends. They even have weekend guest music nights from 7pm and the vibe is just nostalgic

I think it's the best place ever happened to dehradun ...if I had money to sponsor it I would but im not capable but .. friendly environment ...good people and lovely food ...one thing I would like to suggest everyone is please do order mutton biriyani and sharabi chicken tikka...yeah you got it right it's sharabi (drunkard )...they will serve you that with a bit of alcohol ..don't worry you won't be drinking it ... seriously I've visited every good restro of dehradun but this was a really good one...the environment is really cozy and satisfying ...good for couples 😅😅 but you can try it with family too ...im not a paid promotor ...I really wrote this because it is good ...thankyou guys ...I'll be there with my friends again and suggest others too ....again it's a special place for couples 💝

It's a quaint little place with extremely ete-catchy quotes all over the place. Plus the ambience and food is a big plus! If I happen to visit Dehradun again (I'm from Bengaluru), this certainly is on my bucket list :)
