Today I visited this wonderful place with my best buddies. We started with tomato soup and chicken hot and sour along with mashroom kabana... Really fantasitic cuisine. Afterwards we ordered dal makhni, chicken rarra and butter roti... The chicken smells delicious really mouth watering... Dal makhni is amazingly good. Gulab Jamun in dessert is really delicious

This is one of the nicest place for a family dinner.
Waiters are good and the owner is also nice (MR. JAIPAL SINGH). Ambience quality of food as well as the place was also cosy.

Suitable for a giant family meal or treating your extended friends circle because it is quite spacious. I personally dont like the wooden seating because it might get uncomfortable after a while. However, I would definitely consider this place when I get those Hunger pangs which only lots and lots of food can satisfy. The best thing about this place is the quantity of food they keep in 1 serving. There is a huge difference when compared to other restaurants of similar rating. Tip: Try out the less number of dishes than you usually order first, know the quantity and then order other dishes as you might end up wasting food. Starters here are better than the main course.

Not a very friendly and plush ambience..but the quality of food and beverages is too good to cover it...one must visit place for fine dining with friends and family...tried the crispy vegetables and dahi ke kabab for starters...along with some alcohol...both were delicious...especially the dahi kabab is a must when you visit here....for main course had paneer lababdar and vegetables in hot garlic sauce...paneer was on a sweeter side...not my liking but the hot garlic sauce was a complete winner...
For non alcoholics:try Aangan Special Mocktail...a showstopper..
And the best part for students...additional 20% discount on food and 10% on beverages...so quiet ppcket friendly...a highly recommended budget place..
This place near Ashley Hall, is not crowded at all. It serves really good food though. I went there with my family and we'd ordered soup and chowmein, both of which, turned out to be extremely good and reasonable.

One of those rare places where I've yet to have anything that doesn't taste really good. Always a delight, excellently priced and you always go home feeling extremely good. Do try the Paneer Lababdar and the Mutton Biryani. You will be surprised. I used to be a fan of Black Pepper until I chanced upon Aangan.

This place definitely meets all the criteria to be one of the best in town as the
ambiance is decent, service is good, price is reasonable, food is delicious and quantity is appropriate. It is also at a prime location "Astley hall" so is easily accessible. Had Mexican roll, veg biryani, and paneer tikka masala with butter naan.
Looking forward to try some more things from their menu. :)

A perfect place to dine-out with family. Good food and impressive service simply made our day!! We really enjoyed 'Guava mocktail' and 'Dahi ke kebab' to start with and moving on with tender 'lemon fish' and 'murgh kali mirch'.
Good food, good service, and light on the pocket!! When a family of four can enjoy a good satisfying meal in about a thousand bucks, what more could you ask for? I would recommend people to try 'Navratan Korma' and 'Bharava Tamatar', for main course.
Good food and equally good service. me and my family Settled here for a lunch during the long weekend of 15th August 2014. Even though the restaurant was brimming with people, each table was attended with equal enthusiasm and patience. I highly reccommed the "afghani chicken" for starters and "chicken kali mirch" for main course.

Situated on the lane of Orient movie hall, this restaurant is on the first floor and is quite easy to locate. I don’t know how, but it seems like my sister and I get drenched every time we are out of home these days, and yes, you guessed it right! We both were soaked again in Dehradun’s rain by the time we reached Aangan late in the evening. The restaurant is a great option for family dining out and has cuisines like Indian, Chinese, Continental in their menu. There is a bar and a separate sitting area to the left side. We preferred to sit there because it gives you much privacy. I liked their food. Their Cheese Corn Roll, Crispy Fried Veggies, Paneer Peshawari were good. The ambience was clean, the lights were perfect and the service was fine. As such, there was nothing new to experience, but then there was nothing bad experienced either. We left the place satiated!

Taste was decent, not supper amazing. Hygiene and service looked good. Ambience is good for family, not so good for a group of friends. May be the restaurant could make a separate room for young people's group by extending their area or in a different floor.
