Once I lived in dehradun and it's always the best place to eat , I like there is paneer tikka , which is still best for me even when I ate from different places but tirupati paneer tikka remain best, badly missing that ....
It is one of the most economical Veg Restaurant at Rajpur road.Its famous for South Indian cuisine especially for their Veg Thali which I remember was somewhere around Rs 300 and it was on almost all the tables.I visited this restaurant for the first time way back in 2008 and now when I recently visited its completely changed.As it has large number of footfalls so they were serving very fast and within 1 hour they served atleast 5 tables.The menu had both South Indian and North Indian food and they are equally good.

Their dosas are worth every penny. The restro is a great option for veg ones since you gonna enjoy diverse varieties of veg delicacies. I accompanied one of my friend who was craving for South Indian on a typical rainy day of doon. We ordered vegetable dosas that tasted heavenly delicious. I think it was the best dosas I had in this city so far. The price is average 155 for a big triangles dosas served with sambhar and coconut and red chutney enough to fill hunger of two persons.
Totally satisfied with the quality of dosa they serve! Now I see why this place is favourite one for south indian cuisine lovers. Almost all the tables occupied there had varieties of dosas served. We had mix vegetable masala dosa today and it was worth every penny. In love with how they served us- two medium size bowls for sambhar, 2 individual bowls for coconut chutney and red tomato chutney and a plate carrying big triangled masala dosa. Looking forward to try their other dosas too!!
Food was really good, the spices were very subtle and the portions were of decent quantity. The staff was courteous and service was quick. The seating is a bit congested as there is limited space inside the restaurant but nothing uncomfortable. Only suggestion would be going easy on all the ghee/butter as there was quite a lot of it in every dish we ordered.

I really liked the food served here. The ambience is so on point and makes up for a great time. It was raining heavily (on 05/04/17) and I along with a friend looking for shelter decided to have lunch here waiting for the rain to stop. The restaurant has a simple decor. I ordered the Tirupati Special Dosa and my friend the Cheese Masala Dosa. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be served to us. Both the items were good. What I really liked here were the sides which were given with our order, namely sweet curd (yogurt) and butter milk. Other than the food the service quality was also very good. I definitely look forward to coming here again.

As fond of South Indian cuisine, I visit this place very often. The Dosa over here is fantastic, leaving the Sambhar served with it(haven't found good sambhar in the whole city). Be very careful with there billing activities have a count on the rotis you eat because they might just charge you extra but the food is really good specially the malai kofta is lazabab mouth watering as it always overcrowded it's a typical family restaurant can go with family only.....

There are only a few places where you can find dosas which do not taste like flavoured polythene sheets and idlis which won't kill small animals on impact. Tirupati serves the most authentic south Indian food in Dehradun barring their filter coffee, which is just a generic instant coffee stirred up to some foam. Onion uttapam, rawa masala dosa are must tries. Brownie points for the sambar which is beyond aeesome. Price of the menu is very reasonable too. Thanks Tirupati for providing some relief from butter chicken and tandoori roti to a cosmopolitan palate.

If you want to have authentic South Indian then this is the place . I ordered paneer masala dosa and it was great . The dosa had good filling and the coconut chutney was smelling and tasting fresh .
The ambience is pretty ordinary and the sitting is a bit too close . The service staff is not very happy to serve you and lacs the simile you expect . Good tasting dosa , do visit here if u can bear the service

I will review its south indian food only..for which this restaurant is famous for(as north indian is prepared in the same kitchen of the punjabi essence).. had dahi vada, chilli idli, sambar vada for starters. The dahi in dahi vada was way to sweet for my liking...it was as if i was having a rabri or kheer..the sambar vada was less oily and sambar tasted very good...the savior was chilli idli....rightly spiced and at the same time...maintaining the authenticity of Idli. The n we ordered tirupati special dosa and rava onion masala dosa. The dosa came with that sweet dahi again...but both the dosas were excellently done. Heavy amount of fillings of paneer and aalu and a lot more stuff...with the crispyness of rava..they both made my day..(although we did had tandoori mushroom and chopsuey..but since they were prepared in punjabi essence restaurant...its not legitimate to review them here)..in all a very good place to have nice dosas and idli(ps-we had fresh lime soda and cold coffee which wefe terribly done...so i would recommend not to order the drinks here...just stick to the dosas and you will have a great experience)
The most svelte place to dine in for the south Indian cuisine. Never get bored of the thali and the different varieties of disaster they offer. A little crowded almost all the time, ambience could be a little better!
The location is good but offers no parking, that can be a problem. Else one can park in the lane that leads to hotel inderlok.
It offers the southern style cuisine that is authentic. The length of the paper dosa was quite incredible. The sambhar has a different taste to it that is quite flavourful.

This restaurant in Dehradun serves the best aithentic South Indian food. I tried here Tirupati special Dosa, the dosa was served with buttermilk, sambar, rasam and mithi dahi.

Hmm... Well Visited This place after a long time.
The place has changed a bit, and the menu was looking quite decent but the price tag seems to be quite high.
Ordered typical south Indian food being from south.The Dosa, Uttapam and Idli's where quite good. The chutney's and sambar where quite interesting and also portions were large.
The varies of Dosas mentioned where quite amuzing but all the varities are not avaliable always.

Very nice restaurant, I think it is the beat resturant in Dehradun if you want good food. Service is also very fast. Staff is too good. Resturant is not too spacious and also has very low light. Instead of these two things food is absolutely delicious. I have tried many restaurants foods in Dehradun but this one is best. Food Price is also average.
Very authentic south Indian food, must try medu Vada, masala dosa, rasam papad and filter coffee, you will fall in love with the food and service. Cost was not as high as somebody would think, like medu Vada, idali sambhar were just 150/- each. Rasam papad were Rs 110. The only issue was there was no parking available for the cars.

The food was good. We tried tomato soup, paneer butter masala and dal tadka. Pudina Paratha was really good and will recommend it. If you're in dehradun and looking for a good vegetarian place, you can give it a try.
My review is mainly for the guard working there currently.. What a nice gentleman! An example of how genuinely humble and polite humans are supposed to be, amidst enjoying their work. Greeting people, who weren't even visiting Tirupati, with a sweet smile. Watching out for trouble, in that scorching sun.
I really think the chap deserves a little better.
Last night celebrated my sister's birthday party.. Amazing quality of food, quick service, bful soft ambience and spacious for little kids to roam around! *MUSHROOM TIKKA* is the star.. ⭐✨ Cheers !
