Review for the new outlet ( Opposite silver City)
I'm big fan of South Indian Cuisine, and for the very first time I tried Sagar Ratna.
What I ordered: Maharaja Masala dosa & Filtered Coffee.
I loved Maharaja Masala Dosa it was filled with Aloo & Paneer, it was served with sambhar Coconut Chutney, Red Chutney honestly it is way better than other Places.
I will surely try more things from Menu.
Filtered Coffee was also Good.
Highly Recommend If You love South Indian Cuisine.
Price Range: 300-600 (for 2 Person)

Nice ambience, nice service.. Liked the South Indian platter and the dosa. Freshly served. My mom and I, both of us were so full. All in all Paisa vasool food. If you are a fan of South Indian food like I am, a must visit place in Dehradun.
I went to this place to have a 4ft dosa with my friend...we really liked the staff they were polite n friendly and the dosa was also upto the mark but the sambar was not at all good....we hope next time we visit you the sambar will get better
Best place for south indian food... taste of dosa is awesome.. nd in north indian food sahi paneer, dal makhni, naan.. is also delicious... best place for visit for vegetarians...
Excellent food. Very tasty food. My kids loved the food. It was better than any other hotel. puri, lemon rice and papad was also very nice food

we went there when it got opened.Tried spring roll dosa,noodles,filter coffee.Dosa and noodles were fine.Coffew can be better.Ambience was good.
Decent place for your South Indian cravings! I had ordered a Rava dosa which had a decent taste. However, one cannot expect the same quality as he or she would get any of its Delhi or Bengaluru branch!
Sagar ratna is a good and one of the favourite destination of vegetarians. Its a nice family restaurant serving quality dishes. Since its a chain, so they hardly compromise with service, hygiene and food quality.
Nothing fancy or bad about this restaurant but at least if you want to try authentic South Indian when in the mountains, one can rely on this food chain.
The service at Sagar Ratna is extremely quick if you are ordering authentic South Indian food. The dosas are absolutely yummylicious. Went a few days back to try some medhu vadas and they were freshly prepared and really tasty.
The food is good..
But service is dull. Doesn't seem like they are servicing happily..

We were looking for some food outlet other than north indian main course/ Punjabi and hence choose the restaurant. The food was really delicious and freshly cooked. When we entered, we were the only customers and hence were doubtful regarding the quality, but it was really good. We had veg soup, tandoori platter 2, paper masala dosa, uttapam and Hakka noodles and all were very delicious.
We ate till our stomachs could not take any more. I would recommend this restaurant over many fine dining restaurants.
Definitely try tandoori platter 2. But for 3 people or more only as the quality is really good.
I went to this place with high expectations only because of the brand name. But was not satisfied considering my high expectations.
Food quality (3/5)was just okay, even you will get better food from a apparently low profile restaurant like Tirupati.
Food Quantity (4/5) is fine, it's sufficient to fill your stomach :-D
Price (3.5/5), I won't say it is a cheap place or very over priced. But yeah considering the south Indian cuisine tradition, it's bit over priced.
Hygiene (4/5) is cool
Hospitality (4.5/5) is quite nice. Waiters are well mannered.
Somehow the taste of the sambar and chatni disappoint me the most.
I 'd definitely suggest this place to be tired by anyone looking for family get together.
Sagar ratna one of the best restro for south indian dish,if you are a south Indian food lover then must vist once.
The food and place is good,good ambience and good food,you never go wrong with this place. They have lots of tasty dishes in there menu.
They mainted the place well, neat and clean. The staff is polite and pleasant. I really belive if you have pleasant staff,as customers it make you feel welcome again and overall experience good.
I order harabara kebab,uttampam of my choice (paneer uttapam not including in menu but they make it on my special order),rasam vada, ravi kesari.
All food are good and freshly cooked up

As the name is a brand in itself for delicious south Indian food. It was not so crowdy when we went there. Tried Rawa mysore masala dosa and something different from the basics of dosa i.e., hot garlic dosa, It was also good. The service is also good. In all, a recommendable place to enjoy some south Indian meals!
So south Indian food specialist,,,,I love south Indian food nd this restaurant fulfill my taste ...I have ordered masala Dosa,poori bhanji keema,rava usko,,i have satisfied becz food,price,atmosphere all were awesome nd excellent .....
This place is almost at the turn towards mussorie, so location wise it's best. You can go here while going to mussorie or coming back. They have really good food. For the 1st time I had cheese corn and spinach dosa, and it was amazing. And also had their vada sambhar, the vada's were nice and crispy as I like them and the sambhar was full of spices and tanginess as it should be.
The service and ambience is nice, the place is clean as well and also not at all expensive to the pocket.
All in all a great experience, definitely coming back here again.

Not as good As Sarvanna Bhawan but in its place its good
Onion tonato uttapam is good
South Indian Thali is also good
Idli platter is good
Overall good
You don't require ambience everytime. Sometimes you just want something good to eat .
It's this place where you should visit to have some good authentic south Indian food.
Best sagar ratna I have ever visited, apart from authentic south indian food you will get awesome chinese and indian stuff also, it just made our trip to Dehradun more memorable.

Great dosa.. Awesome chutney (specially the garlic chutney ) and the sambhar is also ok.. The rassam is nothing like a original south Indian rassam... Rest is good...
BesT south Indian food in the town..:) if you south Indian fooD is your taste then a must visit place. Sagar Ratna we all know is a famous food chain.

I visited Sagar Ratna at Chaudhary Plaza Rajpur Road Dehradun. I loved the variety of Dosa's there like fusion Dosa 'spring roll Dosa' but my favourite was hot garlic Dosa , Idli Chaat and Tandoori Salad. Idlis were also soft and yummy. Vada were crispy😋staff was good. Overall a nice outlet to visit..

Went there in noon time.It was almost empty.Firsr of all tables were not that clean.Ordered rava dosa combo and strawberry shake.
Rava dosa-It was good
Filter coffee- It was okayish,expecting more
Dahi vada-It was good
Strawberry shake-It was good
Overall experience could have been great if the table were clean , nevertheless it was good.
