This has become one of my favourite bakery. It has variety of cakes and pastries at reasonable price. Variety of food and beverage are also available, which taste so yum.
The pastries are amazing. We always take cakes from here for celebrations. And they also have these amazing snacks. The sitting area is not quite developed though
Standard Bakery has been a brand in Dehradun.
I've been going to this location since it was opened in 2000s.
They do not have any dedicated parking so you will have to do street parking.
There are not a lot of chairs and tables nowadays. So don't think you'll be able to come here to eat and seat for some time.
On products, standard is a bit pricey but their products have never disappointed in taste or quality.
Their best snacks are grilled sandwiches.
Other than sandwiches would recommend to try their chocolate and rum cake.
Pastries are good, but quality differs during peak sessions like Christmas etc.

The patisserie are quite soft which melts into the mouth once a bite of it is taken .
DBC i.e death by chocolate actually feels like chocolate has consumed your whole mouth and gives you an absolute satisfaction .
One of the best bakery in town. This outlet is located at Kaulagarh Road, Rajendra Nagar. They have nice pretty collection of cakes. They have an indoor seating arrangement in case you want to have something there itself. In my recent visit, bought a one pound chocolate cake for 340 bucks. It was beautifully designed and superlicious too. Recommend specially for beautiful and yummy cakes.
Standard is a well known brand in dehradun and it offers a huge variety of instant eatables as well as bakery products.
The place has 2-3 tables inside and few outside, which is sufficient to accommodate a lot of people.
I tried the following items:
1. Fruit pudding-2.5/5 The rating to this low because it was not served fresh. By eating, it was clear that the pudding has been in display for atleast 2 days.
2. Noodle grenade - 3.5/5 I had this product twice and both the time the experience of different. When I had it for the first time, it was too oily but this problem was not caused when I had it for second time. The taste was superb. Noodles filling in a bread roll.
3. Cheese corn spinach sandwich- 4.5/5 I loved it the most. Superlicious ...Delicious
Good bakery items that will make you want to come back for more. Love their chocolate brownie biscuits a lot. Rusks and breads are fresh and yummy. The snacks are great as well. Pasta to sandwich, everything is good.

- Food is really good. I have tried all the lip-smacking snacks at this place and almost all of them tastes really good. The best part about the food here is that you can look at the food and decide which one do you want to eat. Now it really becomes a hard choice when you look at so much of delicious food and you have to select hardly 2 or 3. Freshness is still maintained, although it sometimes doesn't happens. Some of the things that I tried here and were worth tasting-
1. Noodle Grenade - This is a fried bread roll with a filling of noodles. This tastes decent. A little oily but is very crispy and melting.
2. Seasame roll- This is served fried. It is crispy and spicy. Tastes best with 'chat masala' and ketchup.
3. Burger- This is not unique but tastes good and is soft. Quality is acceptable.
4. Paneer Tikka roll- This is a great bread with filling of paneer tikka which is well cooked and is cheesy.
5. Cakes- Probably the best outlet for eggless cakes in Dehradun. I have tried around 7 flavours and i was never in regret. The designs are very artistic.
6. Pastries- The pastries are really good for the ones who are comfortable in eating egg. There is a very short variety of eggless pastries. The ones which are presented there are very fresh and delicious.
-Service is slow. There are alot of customers in the bakery so it is acceptable that your orders would take time. The staff is very humble.
-Pricing is very decent and at par with the market.
-Ambience is like a regular shop which is clean and fit for sitting.
The place is recommended for cakes and and light snacks.
It's been years I guess a decade or two I last visited this place. Was my school days I used to have stick jaws and my fav chocolate truffle. Really the taste is still in my memories.
A very nice bakery shop located near my house. They have a good collection of eggless and egg based cakes. The rates are pretty reasonable. Pretty good collection of snacks and cookies. I recently bought a chocolate truffle cake and it was too too delicious. Staff is friendly and service is satisfactory.
The aroma inside the outlet is mouth watering. I had the chocolate truffle (honestly bakeries in India don't know what a truffle is and still name them truffle because people also don't know, but who am I to judge right?). It was a good experience and they have those creative cake presentations too. I'd love to go back here and taste the diversity in their menu. It's a snack place and they don't accept PayTM as of now.

The Best birthday cake maker. Nice place to buy fast food and confectionery goods. Though a bit costly in the region as compared to competitors but since the quality is usually good, it's not a major deal. Beware that sometimes I got a bit old made food which was definitely not good at all.

The cake was nice, though not spectacular in any sense. It was soft, the truffle was well settled and it had some chocolate ornamentation.
Honestly, the cake was good enough to get the job done - but not something that would make you go "oh my god this is heaven".

Standards is a nice place to meet with friends over a quick snack and drink, and is also good for basic confectionery and bakery requirements.

We had Belgian Pastry and Chocolate Cheesecake was oh my god it tastes divine. I'm just speechless but the taste. They make the best chocolate in the town. They also sell their freshly made breads and other confectioneries. I am madly in love with their cakes. Must try. Do give a visit.
