Had open butter masala dosa and masala dosa. Loved the taste and during covid they are taking proper precautions too. All were wearing gloves and masks
This place is on the way to Nandi Hills. At the side of the High way, it has good food. The garlic naan and the paneer butter masala was really delicious ๐ not to forget the service is very very good. The service team is polite and always smiling.
We had been to nandi upachar which is on the way to Nandhi Hill, itโs a perfect spot to go after a trip to the hill, we tried their Butter Masala Dosa, Vada, puri Baji and Onion dosa loved every bit of it except the sambar and the vada which was slightly burnt. Overall itโs a great with huge seating arrangement and fast prompt service.
A good option to stop for breakfast or lunch. There's usually a wait of about 5-10 mins to get seated.
Overall great quality food, reasonable price. Good service.
Yummy rava masala dosa puri sagu&yummy rava dosa &uddina vade not good
Vegetarian Review ~~
This place is super hygienic and you get the beat breakfast. I got a chance to have breakfast twice here on my trip from Hyderabad to kerala by road. We stopped on the way while going and coming from kerela.
The place is divided into 2 sections, one as a dining hall where one can seat and enjoy the food while the other is a small breakfast area to stand and is self help. I tried both and there is a bit of price difference between the two.
We had set dosa, dosa, rava dosa, poori korma, idli, pongal, wada and filter coffee and tea. The food is delicious and the sambar and chutneys are good. I loved pongal and set dosa...it's soft and yummy.
The coffee is good too. The price is nominal for a meal and the staff is courteous and nice.
2 visits and I would recommend this place for breakfast for sure...happy binging
We went and had a great meal to the Nandi Upachar huge restaurant on our way to Nandi Hills, I canโt find that outlet so writing the review here as we also grabbed a small meal on our way back home at the airport.
This is the place that has not only South Indian but also many other options ranging from Chinese to North Indian to desserts also.
The service is slow and waiters seemed to be a little lost.
But as the taste of food is good it was okay!
The food was up to the mark. Ambience was good..but only the prices were a little high!! Service was good and they did not deny when we asked for extra green sauce.
Really liked the food here. The dosa was great, and what I really liked is that they had the combo of vada and idli, which is not common in other places.
It is a bit expensive, but overall it is a good place to have food.
The filter coffee was just average, it was too strong, and had add lots of sugar to make it drinkable.
A good place if you want to grab a quick bite before you enter the airport and avoid the costly menu inside.
Located just at the beginning of the airport compound, it provides a spacious and quick dining experience to travellers and people who come to see off..
Well, the ambiance is good, pocket friendly compared to the restaurants inside and menu is small mostly South Indian food like Idlis, vada, Dosas, mini meals and tea, coffee etc..
We were on our way to Nandi hills, while we stopped at Nandi Upachar for breakfast. They serve yum brekkie ๐๐ we were a group of 7 and ordered many items on the menu. Each one of them tasted heavenly. Specially the dose and uddina vade. Continue the good work chef's... ๐๐
This is a go to place when in and around airport road. Best vegetation restaurant with varieties of options. It's a clean place but a little on the expensive side. Since there are not many options people tend to go here and crowded as always. Taste wise it's good. Service is also good.
Excellent veg dining option on the Hyderabad highway after the airport jn. Ample parking, very airy interiors with comfortable seating. Rava Idli, pongal, dosa, coffee, all very good.
Ultimate restaurant in Bangalore. They serve with love.
The staff are very disciplined.good job
Veg clear soup and crispy corn chilly is best to star with lunch.
Had breakfast here, Good Ambience, very good food, and very very Good (high) priceโบ enjoyed Poori Saagu and Dahi Vada, taste wise thumbs up๐ but quite high pricing. Those who doesn't have constraint on money, should definitely visit if you are on that route๐
Good restaurant, spacious, good parking, good rest rooms and variety of food. Traveling towards Hyderabad or other parts of Andhra / Telangana ? Took so much time to exit the city and need to have breakfast ? Nandi Upachar is at the junction of the Bangalore - Hyderabad road and the junction towards Nandi hills.
It is a big place which I believe has rooms to stay in too. The restaurant is pretty big too and has some stalls serving variety of stuff to kids liking.
The South Indian thali's and other items are well prepared and hygienic. But if you want to have North Indian, Chinese or variety of other dishes, those are served too and are worth having.
Do try the fresh mausambi juice, the dosa, idli and vada. The maddur vada is also pretty good !
Would surely recommend a visit.
We stopped here for breakfast on the way to kurnool, food was good , service quick .
U have variety of food to choose ,juices , sweets , snacks if u want to pack for the journey.
Sufficient parking available ๐
Food was so good that next day we stopped here again for dinner , hope they maintain the quality and the cleanliness
Awesome place with awesome level of service provided... They were even welcoming the ppl coming just to drink water in the scorching summer.... Taste of the food is good... Overall a good place to eat if u r crossing nearby
This place is like a paradise for the vegetarians. You get all varieties of vegetarian food including chat.. The dosas here and super awesome. Chat may need some improvement. The babycorn fry we ordered was very nice and crispy. The only downside is this is always full and hence you feel everyone around you is in hurry to serve you and then free it for other customers.
A quick stop for breakfast got us here while travelling to Srisailam on a fine weekend. The place is well maintained and we were seated promptly!
We ordered for the following.
- Rava idli - To be honest..this was the best Rava idli that I have had till date. It was soft and could taste the ghee that was added to it
Rava dosa - again a tasty choice that we made for breakfast. It was crispy and tasty!
Coffee - it was decent as compared to what I expected. Could have been better
The place is huge and the washrooms are maintained very well...
Definite visit if u are passing through this area!!!
Loved this place from the ambience to the food it was an amazing experience!! Their Pongal and Masala dosa are to die for. The value for money is also good!! Must must visit when you travelling to Nandi hills or just passing by the highway!!
Located in a super expensive place like international airport, the place is a respite for your pocket. I tried paav bhaji and bisi bele bath here. The food was decent. I liked the paav bhaji more though. The tea was also
good. โค๏ธ
Top notch sales and service people the staff of Nandi Upachar are.๐By far one of the best restaurants for breakfast stop overs relative to many other on the several routes out of Bangalore. Reason is efficient service.
If your cab or car driver says it's too crowded, don't listen to her/him, though there is always a crowd you don't feel it. Your table will be serviced in no time.
The food taste is very good to good. But the staff is proactive in suggesting items and ensuring quick delivery with a smile. Though well staffed, if there is a gap, the floor manager himself services the tables and chats up customers at every table. The way they elaborate on the suggested items gets you excited enough to order it. ๐
The manager suggested a plate of kadubu/khotte. We had 2 plates. This is NOT really khotte as they are not made in leaves (screwpine) rather it's made in glasses...so it should be glass idli. There are two types of idli with two types of chutney. The coconut chutney was decent. Overall healthy option.
The Pongal was very homely and soothing...a good option in the morning...unless you have gas n bloating issues๐ The curd that came with Pongal was too good and they give you more as per your requirement. The vada was a good size and crispy. The rava idli was ok, tasted good with saagu ...this is usually a combination I don't like but ok here. The dahi vada was good. Overall satisfactory breakfast.
Tables are too closely placed, bathrooms are over crowded and there is water shortage. These were the only shortcomings but then we had gone on new year 2019 Jan 1st so the crowd had swelled obviously.
One of the best South Indian restaurant in that area. Really loved the food and service. Their filter coffee and khara bath is just too yum. ๐๐๐ป๐๐ป
Stopped for Breakfast when we were on the way to Andhra. They have 2 sections, Self Service and Dine in. The place is huge and can accommodate lot many people at once.
We order for the below
- Rava Idli: Soft and delicious, have tried Rava Idli at many. Places and can say it was one of the best.
- Rava Dosa Plain: Big and crispy and loved it.
The chutney and sambhar were sumptuous as well.
Overall, you can stop here for food without any second thought. Also, they have maintained the washroom very well.
Awesome food. Very good service. Good one to have on the way to Nandi hills or coming back from there. They first gave us wrong item but we're kind enough to change it quickly.
This was the first time when we visited Nandi Upachar.
This place is very well located and hence a lot of people stop by in transit.
While our way back from a very famous temple, we stopped here for lunch. We were very hungry.
We were a bit hesitant after seeing the number of cars and people who stopped by. We thought it will be very crowded and it will take a lot of time.
When we entered the restaurant, we immediately got a nice place to sit. A waiter came to us instantly to take our order and greeted us nicely.
It was the lunch time so we ordered Thali - one north Indian and one south indian.
The food was good and hot. Very apt. We also had filter coffee and it was nice too.
The restaurant was clean.
We also got a complementary dessert.
Overall the price of the food was nominal.
It was a weekend and also the peak time of the day and the week. Seeing this I would say it was extremely well managed and well attended.
Overall I will give it -
4.5 from food perspective
3.5 from ambience
4.5 for value
4 for service
One of the best vegetarian options for the people in and around Devanahalli. Visited this place on a weekday for dinner . Spacious, neat, well done ambience filled with friendly staff . We had chili potato, gobi manchurian, veg fried rice , masala dosa , masala puri, paani puri, dahi puri and few varieties of cold stone Icecream at the outside kiosk. The service was pretty quick. Chili potato was delicious but extremely spicy though I had requested to make it as mild as possible , Gobi manchurian was very good , veg fried rice was lovely too . Masala dosa was excellent , dosa was crisp, chutney was yum. Masala puri was simply outstanding and I relished every morsel, dahi puri was superb, paani puri was average. The only let down was the ice cream kiosk outside, though they tried to make it the best somehow I didnโt love it , I tried the ferrero roll which was a complete let down as it was super hard and icy ! The presentation for the dishes served for dinner was excellent but the presentation of Icecream made with so much efforts was in a simple plastic bowl which seemed to match no where ! They have amazing kiosk for short eats and snacks and I tried their fresh cookies which were eggless and loved it ! And finally winded up my evening with Calcutta paan which was superb too .
Nandhi Upchar is a pure vegetarian restaurant situated a few kilometres away from the airport near Devanahalli .
Visited this place on Sunday ! Here we ordered a veg platter which consisted of good starters made up of mushroom, paneer and corn and the veg kebabs were good and the platter is very huge and a tummy filler !
Nextly we ordered paneer cheese sandwich which was toasted very well and the amount was cheese was rightly put and it was perfect .
Seating area and the parking area is very spacious !
This is a nice restaurant on the Hyderabad highway and close to Nandi Hills as well. They have a huge parking facility which makes it very convenient to stopover while on a long drive. The food is good and the service is fast. It is very clean. Has large seating space and is family friendly. Staff is efficient and courteous. We tried Idi, Rava Masala Dosa and filter coffee which were very good.
Staaf: 5, Food: 4, Ambience: 4
What makes a place special is not only the food but also the service and hospitality. The food here is probably the usual menu but made in highest quality and served with a smile. Their service and hospitality is worth mentioning. Best place to stop by on this highway! I have been there many a times and shall visit again :)
Nice place with open seating space and just outside of Bangalore International Arrival gates. They serve variety of South Indian as well as North Indian delicacies and till late night. I reached there by 10 PM and place was full packed with passengers and crew members.
I ordered Masala Dosa and I must say it was very different from North Indian version of Dosaโs. It had tangy taste of Masala with richness of butter. Sambhar had full of vegetables instead of just Dal soup as we get at most of places in North India and one could easily feel the aroma of spices within.
I would say it was nice decision to go to Nandi Upachar and was worth the money.
I like the food Quality. The store at airport bus stand. Still they have best food and nominal rate around airport area. One should have all kinda South Indian food. You can have world's best filter coffee here.
Must visit..๐
Economical and tasty food joint. It's very near to Nandhi hills and is on the way to many tourist places near bangalore. Convenient option (since it is located on the main road) to the travellers who go for a long drive towards International Airport direction.
I recently planned for a one day trip to avalabetta with a group of friends and chose Nandhi Upachar as our break fast option.
We ordered Plain Butter Masala Dosa, Sambar Vada, Rava Idli. Dosa is very crispy and tasty, Sambar is delicious and gives an add on taste to vada, mouth melting Rava Idli is a must try.
Do try their Ragi Milk shake which is yummy and it helps to beat the heat, which is really required during day time rides.
We couldnโt find a single not crowded restaurant on the hill, so my brother took us down the hill to @nandiupachar ๐ฅ . This place is big and not crowded.
I ordered masala dosa, vada and kesari bath. The vada was crispy and with the sambar and chutney it was perfect. The dosa was buttery and crispy as well. .
Another good thing about this place was that the restrooms were clean ๐๐ป So if you ever go to Nandi Hills, be sure to try @nandiupachar
You come in, eat delicious food and you get out. No fuss, just good food.
I have been here twice now, for breakfast and on both occasions the place did not disappoint.
I must commend them for the fact that they keep the place so clean, even the washrooms with such huge crowd coming in and going out.
Everything on their menu was great, the usual vada idli; shavage bath is a must try, the dosa are thin and crisp, and the juices really fresh made, loved them. And after all this the coffee is bang on.
So if you are driving towards airport and you are hungry, do yourself a favour and stop here for breakfast:)
Chirag Soni
As per the south Indian breakfast I hope this is the one of right place to have some breakfast.
Totally fresh and open air area.
Area is totally clean and nice decorate.
We had Mysore dhosa and idly both were fabulous taste. Price wise little expensive.
Superb place for south indian food lovers near international airport. The best thing you must order is Rawa Idli. It was yummmmmm. Good masala dosa. Sambhar was average. Chutney was very nice! :)
I visited this place monday morning.
They have different kind of breakfast and juice as well
You have to take self services.
Overall it's a great experience
Outstanding place! Great service. Great food. Very reasonable. Great prices. Parking is available right outside the restaurant.
Every item I had here was amazing. The pooris were light and fluffy. The dosas were crisp. The dahi Vada was perfect!
Amazing service and great taste. Truly authentic. We had Masala dosa, onion rawa Masala dosa, bonda soup, plain dosa and dip Wada. A treat. The outlet is friendly towards disabled with arrangement for wheel chair.
On our way to nandi, I always came across this place, but never got a chance to visit... So,this weekend i finally managed to end up here... The place is huge with simple interior...
The staffs are really courteous and this place had a great diversity in the menu...
We had ordered :
Vada
Ghee masala dosa
Kesari bath
Tandoori mushrooms
Fresh lime soda
Pineapple juice
Mosambi juice
The dosa was really tasty...oozing with Ghee...
The vada was average..
The kesari bath was yummy as well and the best part.. No added colors...
The tandoori mushrooms was the best I have had in a long time... The marination masala was proper and tasted delicious...
A great place to visit... I wouldn't mind travelling from Whitefield to airport road if the food is this good...
Vegetarian restraunt just before entering
Nandi hill road. Serves awesome south indian food especially dosa. Service is really fast. Food is fresh. Loved this place.
Very good hotel on Hyderabad Highway !!!
This restaurant is located around 35-40 kms from Bangalore.
Good place to stop for breakfast.
There's lot of parking place in front of the hotel.
Place is maintained well.
Food is good.
Worth a visit.
Great place for quick snacks.. Dosa festival lured people in .. tried pesarattu and onion dosa which were just on point. Loved the mushroom kebab crispy and nice .. very clean indeed and service was quick as well .. overall 8/10
Nandi Upachar is the best place to eat on your way to Nandi hills.. A spacious restaurant with ample parking space. Their south indian options are varied and tasty at the same time. Try their idli, vada, masala dosa & pongal. But it seems their poori saagu is another hot selling item. Pricing is quite reasonable also. Overall a nice stopover on the highway
Food:
Ordered the regular Masala dosa, vada (not dipped in sambar), filter coffee my first time.
The masala and the dosa itself were fantastic, made kanadiga style crispy outside, soft inside. Vada is honestly like a well made donut, slight crisp on the outside but so soft on the inside.
The sambar and chutney that accompanied both items was a little sweet but still delicious and the chutney was a little spicy but perfect when mixed with the sambar.
The filter coffee is also really good to follow the food and this place adjusts the strength of the coffee for you which was appreciated.
The next time I went, I ordered a cheese pav bhaji which IMO was great but since they just place a slice of American cheese on top of the bhaji which could have been better if it was mixed together before serving.
We had food delivered from here, naans and some curries. All I can say here, you must try the paneer butter masala, truly fantastic. Their other sabjiโs are not good but they could be better.
Service:
Honestly the folks that work here are really nice and actually care about their customers. I went both times with my family and my grandmother who is quite elderly has trouble walking. They offered a wheelchair and wheeled her out of the restaurant and even cane on my second visit to see if we needed it again.
Also it was raining on our second visit and the parking attendant offered us his umbrella so that my grandmother wouldnโt get wet.
The servers at the restaurant are very polite and are very attentive to their customers needs and check back with the table to see if we were okay or needed anything.
Conclusion:
I will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone else. Great food and great service. Keep up the great work Nandi Upachar!
Very good place out of the city serves very good North Indian and South Indian . Through out the day its quite crowded as it is on the highway and below nandi hills
I had been to this restaurant for breakfast on the way to nandu hills..If time is less then better to go for self service desk instead of serviced one.The breakfast they serve are really good.Coffee refreshes ur mind..service it quite fast.
Food -4/5
Service - 4/5
Ambience - 4.5 /5
Nandi Upachar is an ideal highway stopover while heading out from Bangalore towards Hyderabad/Nandi Hills. Weโve been there a couple of times.
Our first visit there was quite late by breakfast standards but the place was packed. There was a huge gang of bikers with Harleys and Indians which brought back memories of my own bike trips.
The place is clean, spacious and quick in service. We ordered Idli, Karabaath, vada dip and masala dosa, and all of them were just perfect. The poori Bhajji also looked tempting though we were quite full by then. Coffee was strong and made just right.
Our second visit was for lunch. We ordered corn pepper fried Rice and paneer tikkas, along with curd Rice. The paneer was perfectly skewered and had a nice tangy marinade that was complemented nicely by a spicy green chutney. The fried Rice was one of the most flavourful and colourful versions that Iโve eaten. Liked the fact that the food was not oily or too spicy. Very subtle and delicate flavour. The curd Rice too was spiced to perfection, with the correct mix of sour and salt.
Spacious, ample parking, tasty food and clean loo- what more would one want while traveling?
I visited for an authentic South Indian breakfast with friends. Every thing we tasted was superb. Loved the Upma, kesari bhat, idli vadas and dosas. You must try their fabulous rava dosa. And to complete the fantastic experience was one of the best filter coffees. Great ambience and greater experience. Try with family or friends.
A group of 24 people from office, early in the morning braved to walk out of the Whitefield to explore the greater Bangalore..
And whoa were they bowled over ...First by the beautiful misty mornings in Nandi hills.. and then by the great breakfast in Nandi upachar!!
Excellent food.. My favorite vada dipped in sambar was heaven as it was melting inside my mouth with the delicious rich sambar made with shallots/small onions!!
Our table ordered Marsala dose, idly vada, rava dose and kesari bath and all of them were finished in one go!!
And the filter coffee..If you are a true Bangalorean, then you would know the love for filter coffee, marsala dose and vada dipped in sambar!!
Yumm!!! ๐
Nice place to have food after Devanahalli. Situated on the junction towards nandi hill on Bangalore - Hyderabad highway. Ambiance and service are very good. It has everything what a traveller need whether you are going to Nandi hill or on the highway. You can get snacks, ice cream, chat, south or north indian food. Pricewise little high. Huge space for parking.
Good food ..good ambience...hv visited twice this resturant. They have pretty menu served with good taste.Ambience is gud.Stafd are very friendly.Pretty fast service.
Best place to have breakfast when you're going to Nandi hills or coming back from Nandi hills.. price is bit expensive knowing the fact it's away from city. It's a must visit..
So good! Veg dishes. Super fresh and hot and really fast service! Loved eating there on the way home from Nandi Hills. I can happily recommend this place. Wish it wasn't so far from the city.
Yesterday I visit there me and my friend . Which I take their. It's a very good test. That was chilly panneer .and we.tested sweet corn soup.
And there one special .plater it's very nice and testy
Visited this restaurant enroute to Mantralaya. It set a good note for the trip with good food which suited the palates of everyone including two elderly ladies. The staff was very cheerful, courteous and helpful, showing reverence and deference to the elderly. The ambiance was good - neat, clean and well ventilated. The restrooms were well maintained , which was a big relief, on the highway. Thank you, Nandi Upachar. Take care to maintain your standard.
Situated in an appropriate location, this place offers good food for those on the highway and those retuing from Nandi Hills. South Indian snacks, tandoori roti and Baingan Bartha were really tasty. A good, clean place and reasonably priced. Good joint to eat and take a break, on the highway.
I would say one of the best South Indian thalis in and around Bangalore.. pic says it all.. along with the thali, ice cream will be served. along with this, one of the best dahi puri is available here which is available in the evening hours.. very tasty...
One of the best restaurant located outside Bengaluru City. Visited this restaurant around 4pm in the evening. As thali was not there we ordered Chole batura followed by Hot and Sour soup. This was best ever hot and sour soup which I had in my life which was really spicy and hot. Chole batura was extremely good. Then we ordered Bhel puri, which was having authentic Mumbai taste. Please visit this place if you have any trip planned on Bengaluru Hyderabad highway.
fine dining as always... the atmosphere makes even a bad day into good and positive.
every bit of service was professional and timing of food delivery was perfect for family banter, I also noted the difference in service timing for business deals going on. The subtle change was extremely well done ....... although whether it was intentional or not is another matter. The restaurant with both service for leisure and self service for the fast tracker and the pan stall, the ice cream and snack store and a sweet store just make up the entire experience. .........Lunch on sat and sun would be longer-term waits though due to full house working at full steam.
Not only they serve authentic North Indian but excellent south Indian breakfast with very tasty BASAVANAGUDI fame sambar for idly & vada. I noticed few reviews commenting that the price should have been lower but that would have brought down the quality & the service. As a golfing group regularly visiting Prestige Golfshire at the foothills of Nandi Hills, we make it a point to have a delicious breakfast early in the morning and after the game we visit this place for a wonderful lunch. Try this eatery if you're visiting Nandi Hills or on the NH7 highway.
Was doing a drive to Nandi Hills and this place was an obvious and popular choice for breakfast. And I must say it lived up to its place. For a highway restaurant to have this rating of close to 4 is very good. It is also maintained fairly neat and clean. And the best part is that if you want to do a clean restroom stopover, this is the place to come to.
I'm erasing my previous review and rewriting the review... Previously I had rated it 3... And had given average review... But now I'm happily rating 4 coz of food and ambience... That I experienced recently.... Everything we ordered was spot on and tasty... Happy to see this restaurant rising to fame in my native surrounding...
Awesome food and excellent service! Very neat and clean. Restrooms are maintained neatly. Very convenient for physically challenged people. The staff is helpful and courteous.
We went there more number of times than we went to any other restaurant. This is our pit-stop whenever we go on the Hyderabad Highway. While going to Hyderabad or on the return, we always stop there. Their food is piping hot and fresh, service is quick, the staff is very attentive and the toilets are very clean. Has all the ingredients needed for a restaurant close to a highway. I've been to many restaurants on different highways but this one stands out.
Been here for couple of times , but today it was a different experience. Started with idly wada sambar dip and it was mouth watering once they are about to serve . Wada was very crispy and idly was too soft easily swallowed with sambar . After that have ordered kesari bath , pongal and both are above one level of taste compared to other restaurants . Must go places if you are traveling from Bangalore to Hyderabad in NH 7. At the end we have ordered Masala dosa , for me this is the top item . Ended with few fruit juices, all are good .
Is a good place for everyone, bikers, riders, group or family. Who is coming or going to Nandi Hills or travelling on Hyderabad high way. This restaurant is big with good sitting capacity. One can have breakfast, lunch, hota and dinner. They have good verity of delicious food.

+4.5
The food and the quality of food are very good. This has both self-service and service area. Both are equally good. In self-service area we can get the food really fast while the other has usual wait time. They have maintained it really well. The space is clean. Ambiance is good. Also this place has clean restrooms
The food is amazing. The staff is very polite and generous. We also came across cookies cart at the entrance. These cookies are directly bought from Cafe Nilofer (Hyderabad). These cookies are a must buy if you happen to drop by to the restaurant.
Its situated in devanahalli on the way to nandi hills, best place to have veggie(purely vegetarian hotel), food is great, ambience is good, the staff are friendly and fast.
Good, clean, big hotel/restaurant on highway. After this there is no good option for many Km.
On our Bellur/Gandikota trip we saw this and when we went to Lepakshi had b/f here.
Ambience is good cozy. They have sofas instead of normal chairs which is good with childrens. Big space to seat, there are 2 option to eat one is buffet and one is a-la-carte. We went to the second one.
Menu is quite good and big, but as we were traveling so we have regular food i.e. idli-vada dipped in sambar and puri bhaji. Idly and vada was big and they serve 2 idli and one vada in the combo. Sambar taste was also good for a change which is rare on highway restaurants. Taste of puri bhaji was good too but they serve bhaji in very small bowl. 3 puries with bhaji and chutneys.
We had one coffee and one tea and believe me for a north Indian the tea served in this part of India is not as per our taste and above it the quantity is huge to finish when we don't like it.
Service was quick and efficient as our server checks bought the tea and coffee once we were done with the food, no need to remind. All the staff was smiling and were playing and taking care of our daughter when she was running all around which was good as I have seen it in very less restaurants.
Price I fell was high as one pc idli cost 30 rs (half rating was reduced due to this)
Parking is no issue lot or space.
Toilets were clean and fresh.
Location is right on the road, on the turn from where one can go to nandi hill.
Overall good option for morning b/f while leaving bangalore.
A very good place for breakfast enroute to or on return from nandi hills. The place is spacious and ambience clean. The masala dosa tastes delicious and one can order without much thinking.
Paper masala dosa is crisp and filling for all with good appetite.
Open dosa is also very tasty but very heavy on stomach.
Neer dosa- Thin, although not the thinnest made fresh and served with chutney and sweet coconut grating. Had they served with red chutney would make it much tastier.
Vada sambar- Good but not the best. Sambar is thick and a lil strong.
The best part here is the dessert, chandrahara. Never miss it if you happen to visit. (Saturday and Sunday only).
Haven't had lunch or dinner here so won't say much about other dishes.
The taste doesn't fully justify the price but then it's okay once in a while as it's located out of City.
The washroom is clean (attention ladies). For all those planning on a long drive can definitely give it a try.
A very good ambience with delicious food will tempt you to go again and again. It was great time here with friends and service is also very good.
Located exactly at the entry junction of Nandi Hills.
Quality of food is good.. Nice varieties.. Taste is good..price is costly..environmrnt is neat n clean.. Liked it.... Serving is good n fast.. Must visit again....
It's an wonderful place to have food and ambience is good, food is tasty and even the staff are very much professional.. It is the best hotel in the highway and it as got all whatever it needs..
Finally a good restaurant in the vicinity. Plenty of options. You have the self service and the dining option. The food items taste really good and definitely are value for the money. Its a pit stop for most heading out of town or towards the town. Typically falls at the foothills of nandi
Very delicious south Indian food. Opens for breakfast quite early in the morning and serve fresh. A friend of mine & I stopped by on Wed 15 Nov, just like that to have breakfast before a round of golf at Prestige Golfshire and a what a discovery. Regret to have not tried it earlier. Kesari bhath that they gave with few cloves in it is the best i have ever had anywhere and would strongly recommend everyone to try this once and they would sure like to come again.
We went here on the weekend. It was hell crowded. Food was good but the service was too slow because of the crowd. We had to unnecessarily wait for our orders. I would suggest if you go here on weekends please order all the food items which you are planning to order in prior because later it is going to take a lot of time. Surprisingly tea/coffee was served within the time. I believe weekdays would be better here.
A busy place near Nandi Hills ..
If you are going towards Hyderabad, it is still one of the last decent stops for a long distance.
Stopped here for late evening snacks, which ended up becoming dinner....
Mainly we had chaats and buttermilk. We tried Samosa masala, masala Puri, Pani puri, dahi puri and pav-bhaji ..
All dishes were tasty and good portion sizes.
Buttermilk was average, have had better...
Service was a bit slow, but that could be due to rush hour...
There is also a paan-wala in the premises, who has a variety of chocolate coated paans...
Overall, a must stop of you are traveling in that direction - towards Lepakshi, Anantpur, Hyderabad, chikkaballapur, Gundikota etc.
Food is tasty and price is reasonable. We tried South India meals, veg fried rice and Gobi.No acidity issues and spice level is also less.Service needs to improve.Recommended.
Located in Devanahalli outskirts one of the best place to choose for staying in hotel as it is near to airport & Nandi Hills ; this place(restaurant) is always crowded of course it has large dining area it has plenty of choices for breakfast ; lunch & dinner too filter coffe is must try here & crispy corn too
fresh fruit juices & sweet shop
Lot of parking available.
Overall a good experience.
Veg food provided
Food taste is good
Quality and quantity is fine.
Masala dosa is too good.Price is little high.
We had lunch there, it was good.
Family's can plan go there for dining.
Overall a good place, service is little slow.
Looks like the most popular stop on the highway to Hyderabad for breakfast patrons bound northward from Bengaluru. Quick service, nice wide standard menu and a very good Rava Idli ensure that weekend travellers are well taken care of. Nice ample parking for all the big family vehicles as well.
This is good joint and serves South Indian, Punjabi and Chinese food. Prices are little higher than other Udupi restaurants but quality of food is good. Tried Punjabi and south Indian. Seating capacity is decent enough to cater large groups of people. Ample parking available.
I have been visiting this place from quite long and always preferred to simple south Indian menu but recently I have been to mantralaya and I ordered the regular menu which i usually do i.e, fried rice, dal , roti & curd vada but while on the way back to blore I was too tired and wanted to try something that will lift my mood up ! The service boy recommended me to try DAL KHICHIDI it was sooooo delicious & spicy ๐ Which puts you guys a must try food here โค guess what I'm only asking for DAL KHICHIDI @ every restaurant i visit but this is on top trust me ๐ NOTE : Fried rice is a must try too ๐ #best place #Good staff
Stopped by for lunch. Well maintained. Service was quick. Staff was quite courteous and very helpful. Tried the South Indian Thali and Gobi Manchurian.
Thali was good. Loved the Pooris and sagu it came with. Gobi Manchurian quantity was good and so was the taste. Very clean restrooms! One of the major plus points when travelling.
Superb place for both breakfast and lunch. I was surprised with the north Indian gravies which tasted so aunthentic. Super quick service !! Prices are too high compared to other restaurants. The cost for 2 is approx 1k but the quality is amazing.
We ordered kadai paneer and rotis and palak rice
A highway food stop easy accessible for travellers across NH44. Tasty and authentic food served at a decent service. Ample parking available to accommodate around 50 cars. Only thing I found was that food is expensive that may pinch the pocket if have a big family along. Otherwise the taste is very good.
Good place at Devanahalli (right on the highway NH44) to grab a bite. The place is quite big, however, there is always a que and some waiting involved before you can get a seat / table.
Food is great and very tasty. We enjoyed our breakfast thoroughly. Service was slow considering the huge crowd.
If you are driving out of Bangalore, you should stop at this place.
The place has a very big parking area with security.
Mohammadshafe pahochiya

Awesome food really liked the taste. Early morning vibes are best. So many bikers stop here for resting and food.
We stopped here when we were travelling on the Devanahalli road. This is a good option to stop for some relaxation. Would say, the place is not too spacious though. Food is good, service also is not an issue. We had South Indian food, chats & ice cream & everything was fresh & made to order. Pricing might seem a little on the higher side. But justified for the location in which this place is.
Nandi Upachar is a delightful restaurant along the route from Nandi Hills. We have tried unique starter Harabharatikka which was good and different taste and have tried other routine veg rice items & roti and our lunch ended with fruit & chocolate ice-cream.
Went on a weekend on way to nandi hills. The parking was somewhat difficult to find and there are several other places along the street so had to park after all those around half a km away from nandi upchar. There was a waiting for around 20 mins for the table service area. The area with self service doesnt have place to sit and has tables for standing only. The service was very fast.
This place has one of the best dosas around bangalore. Benne dosa and ghee roast were awesome, they were crispy, soft and will just melt in the mouth.
Sizzlers are not available now.
The washrooms we not very clean and could be better.
