Worth the drive to the airport just for the food and not for flying! On the expensive side but the cooking is nice and the portion sizes are good.
Went here during COVID times and we were the only customers. The fish and chips were made to perfection. The tiramisu could've been a little less sweet but no complaints. The staff were courteous and prompt.

One of the best brunches I have ever attended. the spread was endless. The sausage selections was plenty. The Mutton galuti is one of the best I have ever tasted. I got stuck to that 1 dish that I kept eating it. The service and the bar is amazing. Not only is the place great and food superb. Oktoberfest kick started here at Bangalore and have been to Taj Bangalore (Airport) for the special Brunch.Beer, Cocktails & Special Mocktails made the brunch more enjoyable.Brunch spreads were high in number and couldn't find anything below average.Each dish has it's own identity and yeah everything was so fresh..Mexican counter was good for Meat lovers where you get live cooked sausages and more.
They do have separate space for home cookes Vegeterian dishes which is worth trying.Non- Veg starters like Chicken dry and tapioca with chicken was brilliant.Breads were so soft and that takes to another level. Salads,Burritos and much more were there and all were available from live counter as well. Tandoori chicken was moderate spicy and Shawarma was succulent.Biryani and Curd rice were decent and it's hard to try all the varities available for the brunch.
Mango & Grape Sangria was well prepared and refreshing.Best part of the brunch is Desserts, Chocolate cakes ,Orange based cakes , Vannila & Passion Parfait was really yummy and Kasekuchen won the hearts.
Oktoberfest Brunch is really worth trying and this is the talk of the town and this is the best brunch tried recently.
This is one of the rare occasions where the ambiance, service and of course the food was so overwhelming that I forgot to take pictures! There is a reason why the hospitality of Taj is proclaimed to be top notch and this unexpected late night visit to Cafe 77 East proved it right. It's an experience that urges you to visit again. Found the cafe menu pricing quite decent considering that it's a Taj restaurant. Damn I wish I had pictures!!
This place offers some great food with a blend of Indian and Western options. The buffet here is excellent and the services are great. They have some authentic southern dishes which is a must try.

Loved the ambience and the food served. We hit the cafe 77 East for lunch after an airport pickup. We didn't select the brunch menu but went for ala carte.
Tried the chicken tariwala, signature prawn risotto, Kori ghee roast, watermelon feta salad, margherita pizza etc. All items were delicious and got the chef's referral to try out exclusive items in subsequent visit. The menu was very innovative with combination of small and large portion size options - something rarely seen in Indian fine dining options. The service was good with good kids play options.
The visit certainly lived upto expectations from Taj.

A couple of months ago, we missed our morning flight and to pare down my melancholy, my Otto decided to visit Soi & Sake as Japanese cuisine is our fave. But again, the timings were just hard to pull off since our tummies started hankering and out of nowhere,we popped in this dope restaurant . What sets this place apart is an amazing fresh ambience that has unique combination of modernity with traditional touch.The massive colourful rangoli filled in ethereal hues in front, brass peacock Diya stands teamed with giant candles and floating flower pot accentuated with rose petals are gracefully designed with meticulous care on circular mirror and some vintage pots are filled with violet and white flower bouquets and green leaves in it are downright attractive and beautifies the surroundings of this place.
What a tasty breakfast 😍. Stayed in Taj Bangalore so breakfast and dinner was included in an itienary. One of the best breakfast I had in recent times. All the varities of the food is available. Dry fruits, juce and dosa was yummy. I thoroughly enjoyed their buffet breakfast.
Staying at Taj during one of my business travel, breakfast and dinner happened to be at Cafe 77, I had a mixed experience about this restaurant so I choose to write different review for Breakfast & Dinner
Dinner : I asked and expect a buffet dinner but they offered Ala-Cart with fixed items(Just like buffet but they get everything on your table) so while food arrived at the table, first thing I noticed was food has gone cold and items were just not arriving on time, this was probably due to lesser staff or too many customers arriving in reeto at a same time..
Breakfast : Vast variety of food, shall actually confuse you on where to start from, food served was absolutely delicious..

Ambiance- Relaxed, well lit and spacious. Breakfast buffet spread was very organized.
Wait staff - Very warm and attentive. All special requests were happily attended to.
I had breakfast, dinner and lunch and all the meals turned out to be great.

Breakfast buffet - Excellent spread. Everything that I had was tasty. Pav bhaji was a pleasant surprise. They have the freshest juices possible. The filter coffee is worth a special mention.
Lunch - Chef Bagmita and Chef Bipin made my day by a very special lunch. Had a perfect mutton curry here. I will be coming back to the restaurant just for their hospitality.
Dinner - Chicken Shorba was very appetizing. The murg makhmali is one of the best curries I have had in a long time. Kulfi was great too.
Kudos to the entire team for setting a very high standard in restaurant space.

Nice place beautifully build hotel that houses this coffee shop. Went there with family for dinner the staff is police the ambience good but was quite empty. Good for a quote dinner. The food was quite good the service needs to be a little more attentive though.

Cafe 77 is the all day dining restaurant of Taj Bangalore. I had the lunch and the breakfast here. Coming first to the breakfast, it is indeed a huge spread you name it and you have it. Starting from the fresh juices to my favourite pan cakes, english breakfast, Indian breakfast, to freshly baked breads you have everything. The best thing that I liked about this place in breakfast is it is not cluttered well defined sections and I really liked the healthy food section :-). Well I liked the pasty and the doughnuts too :-(. Best of the lot for me was the filter coffee. The staff are prompt enough and courteous and when it comes to Taj lets not talk about the ambiance part of it. If any day you want to have a gala spread on the breakfast head here and you will not be disappointed.
On the lunch, its a buffet lunch of course you can go for ala carte as well. But after looking at the buffet spread decided to stick to it. On the starters we did had a choice of veg and non veg soup. On the main course it was a mix of Indian and Chinese. Really liked the chicken kebab and biryani. I would not say this to be one of the best Biryani I have had, but in terms of the taste it was good. I did not liked the fish items in both the Indian and the chinese spread and even felt that the fish item was really going offtrack with the other dishes present on the buffet.
They also provide fresh pizza and it was really nice.
Ended with a classic touch Gulab jamun and gajar ka halwa and cannot ask for anything more.

We had fruit sangria, in-house burger, slow roasted chicken with mushroom risotto, mutton pepper fry, Thai green chicken curry.
The chicken patty inside the burger was so succulent and juicy, it just melted in our mouth. It's a must try as an appetizer.

Great variety, but was looking forward for a good American breakfast with variety of meat. But still loved the variety in the buffet.
Had been here for dinner and had ordered the Green Thai curry - Shrimp and Mangalore Ghee roast chicken sandwich. The Thai curry was amazing and would definitely recommend to try it. The Sandwich was good and juciy. But not as spicy as I expected it to be. For dessert, we ordered the Gulab Jamoon. It was good but a little bit on the sweeter side.
Visited the place twice in a short period... the service is impeccable, the food is flavourful. The Bianca pizza is just amazing. The lamb burger is juicy and tender. Service in this place is just amazing, the stewards are polite and patient. The main reason i always come back is because I am treated well.
The ambience is amazing .. The out door seats are really nice and they serve the guest really well. I have tried their biriyani and breakfast buffet. Both were nice and had a real good experience :)

For us humble souls that live north of herbal, trying to find an avant Garde breakfast place can be a labor. We decided to sample this cafe in the belief that Taj will not disappoint. This is one of two luxury hotels of this chain in BAngalore. They have a very satisfactory breakfast spread and hospitality is what you expect from the Taj. As compared to similar offerings from Marriot and ITC, they would be unique in offering an across the board performance in every cuisine front. I like the fact that they execute a la carte menu very well at the same time. The cold platters and hot live counters are commendable. For example though I was told that my spinach frittata would take 20 mins to arrive, it was a truly world class effort. The pongal to the alu Paratha to the Danish pastry were all a very solid 9/10. For a weary traveler or a weary professional city dweller, this cafe promises to provide a good respite to the madness that’s only a few hundred feet away. Extremely friendly to all age groups I saw the staff show the same efficiency dealing with the needs of 70+ and 3 year olds.

I just love being at this place, absolute experience, calm and very friendly staff. Taj never let's down on hospitality. Range of food at buffet is splendid. I came to see off my mom at airport, my husband and myself could not stop our feet heading to Taj for breakfast.
What a wonderful cafe around Airport. Not only the location is perfect, but the treatment they give you is totally overwhelming. Especially Mr Siddhart is the best person at Cafe 77 East who serves you everything with heart and provides you comfort one needs after traveling. Go for Baker’s Basket and Hot capuchinno. At breakfast in the Cafe 77 East restaurant, the extensive buffet and live bar offers all one could for. In most cases, if it isn’t on the bar, a mere request will bring it to you. I will, however like to commend Vivek. I requested lime pickle and he did his best to find me some, to no avail. His effort was greatly appreciated. We also enjoyed our contact with Ariva. She was so gracious in taking time to talk with us about various points of Indian customs which we expressed interest.
They have the typical 5 star hotel buffet breakfast.Nice fresh fruit, pastries, waffles made to order, croissants, pain au chocolat and so on. Ofcourse also many dishes made to order, and good tea/coffee service.You can sit outdoors and indoors.
I was looking for a cafe near to airport and planned to visit 77 EAST. As I expected, the ambiance was exceptionally good. The staff was well trained and very polite. Coming to food, we ordered ginger tea which was served with cookies. Tea was okies but cookies were too good. Ordered steamed rice and dal Makhni. Dal Makhni was cooked with butter and cream, which gave the finished dish a smooth, creamy texture.
One of the very few good restaurants in this area. Good ambience and good food. One of the best things, I liked about this place is the spread this restaurant offers. Amazing choice across both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The food was delicious and Indian desserts were fabulous. A good place for a team dinner, especially if you are located anywhere near the airport.
The cafe inside Bangalore airport Taj. Ofcourse top notch ambience and great staff. Food well..may be the best of ingredients but not necessarily the yummiest. Quite avarage in taste. We ended up here just suddenly and this place is not actually very expensive being a Taj property. Ambience is a plus.

Well we had a hot & cold experience here . The Kerala chai on the menu was served cold , then replaced very quickly , but was extremely weak , with no essence of ginger or cardamom as explained to us by the server. Since we were sitting on the outside section , we requested for mosquito repellent , never got it! Ordered for couple of rounds of sherry, the steward looked at me as if he's seen a ghost ..and then repeated the order saying '2 shiraz ' , was served the sherry in incorrect glassware . The food served was extreme good 😊. All in all a good evening, just that you expect a lot more from a 'taj' property :))

The Cafe 77 is a really nice place to be seated in. Its large, well lit and the tables are spaced out to give you enough privacy while in a discussion.
We ordered 3 types of sandwiches of which one was a "Cheese Tomato", some would make this with some perfection ( Grilled ), while some would thrown in a few slices of tomatoes, graded cheese and serve it up. Well the latter came to us :((

This was our first visit to cafe 77 to celebrate our mothers birthday. The way chef Bagmita and Vinayak catered us was simply awesome. They went out of the way to provide us with customized menu just to suite our taste buds. Vegetable kofta and mixed veg pudina paratha were amongst our favourites. To top it up the chocolate cake, one main course item, and the sweet dish were complimentary. They all were delicious and made the day even more special for our mother. I have no doubt in excepting that it has been one of the best services that we have experienced so far.

Anyways we ordered a regular pizza and filter coffee which was sufficient for 2 not so hungry people.
The pizza was the one with fig on it as topping! it Tasted weird, dint like it much, they don't have much selection under pizza, just 3 options, if I remember correctly. Love the fact, they gave parmesan cheese along with oregano and chili flakes! And the regular size was big enough, should be around 9-10 inches thin crust.
Coffee was decent. Decently priced menu, courteous staff, great ambience. And bonus points for not charging service charge!
Believe it or not, the complimentary breads were the real star, I couldn't believe how the humble everyday bread could be made so much better.

The best Taj by far across the many locations that I have been to and the best all day dining restaurant in them. The serenity of the hotel even though it's located at a noisy spot like KIA is just sublime. Super amazing staff and super amazing space.
The chef and team who have curated the menu have done a super fantabulous job. From eye appeal to taste there is nothing that you can fault with their approach.
We tried the following:-
1. Clash of the titans - an apple and mint based mocktail which is worthy of the name given.
2. Chicken Brochettes - satay served with a dry Vietnamese dip which was super.
3. Mexican spiced in house chicken buger served with fries which was king sized, super cheesy and melt in your mouth stuff.
4. Telengana Mutton Biryani - served with raita and I can't even express how soft the meat was and how heavenly it tasted.
5. Dal Makhni - super is not the word.
6. MD. Ali seekh kebabs - mutton, mint chutney need I say more.
7. Garlic baati Naans were just right in size and taste.

Five stars do have good food too, this is definitely one of them.
Food - Mushroom Waffle Slider : Waffles with a twist. Served with mushrooms on top, the waffles were crisp on the outside & soft on the inside, a little sweet although. Mushrooms with onions were made in coconut milk which gave it a good taste. My taste buds reminded me of Thai curry. Do try!
Kori Ghee roast: Its a Mangalorean cuisine. Boneless chicken pieces are served cooked in clarified butter & some home made spices. Although this was a dry dish, it definitely enticed my taste buds.
Masala Khichdi: This is usually ordered by a lot of people who visit this cafe. A simple yet drooling preparation. Served with plain curd, pickle & papad.
Malabari parota: Again, a Mangalorean style bread, it's flaky on the outside & soft on the outside.
Godhi Bella : An usual kind of ice cream. Made with jaggery, broken wheat & banana, it imparted a different kind of taste. Although, it was less sweet but tasted unique.
Asian Pear & Apple Martini: A drink that tickled my taste buds with the first sip & left me wanting for more. Although a tad bit tangy, the combination of pear & apple was soothing to my taste buds. Definitely give it a try!
Ambience: The interiors were amazing & as huge as possible. With LCDs & modern art paintings being put up on the wall, it was an extremely silent cafe. There was a buffet spread also.
Hospitality: The staff is commendable. Since we had a baby with us & were facing a bit of issues to hold the baby & eat simultaneously, they even offered us to hold our baby. Since we were not informed about the Kori ghee roast being absolutely a dry dish, the staff got us a bit of prawn gravy from the buffet to compensate. Kudos to them, hence, the rating.
Overall experience: The hospitality offered & the food served were both amazing which would definitely bring me to this cafe again.
The review is a culmination of my experiences both basis their Ala-carte menu while having lunch there during our stay there plus the breakfast. The lunch experience was just fantastic, we ordered for Veg green Thai curry which was served with a good portion of rice and mushroom risotto and daal khichdi which was served with plain curd. All the dishes were perfect in taste and one small portion was enough for one. The price per dish was only around 250-300 which is so low even for a normal restaurant leave Taj standards. The breakfast was a buffet where most of the spread was a regular one however taste here could have been better for all the dishes. Overall a fantastic experience of stay as well as food here.

This place is great! Must have the buffet over here. Multi-cuisine spread laid out inside with an alfresco option too. Affordable pricing for a 5-star hotel and add the touch of Taj hospitality to it and you've got a great deal.
I really liked the Lamb in pepper konjee sauce, Shepard's pie, prawn biryani and fish in parsley and caper sauce. These dishes are just out of this world, had me going for seconds.
This place is a must try and it's just a stone's throw away from Bengaluru International Airport.
Went there over the weekend for the first time.. had to drop someone who had a flight for which we wanted an early dinner.. was impressed with the décor and liked the interiors. Didn't have much to time for the Indian restaurant that we went to the cafe. I was surprised to see the elaborate menu with so many different dishes. My guest tried Appam and he was blown away. My 6 years old daughter was treated well and she liked the place a lot. Highly recommended.
Well this review is not a typical 5 star coffee shop review. Its about an experience straight from the heart.
When you are travelling and under the weather, you really long for home food. I was supremely delighted to find Mom's style khichdi on the menu. It was the closest you can get to home made Khichdi. Light, yet tasty- perfect soul food.

Firstly, let me start with the ambience and the service. For, thats what we actually pay for food is perhaps only incidental :) I would like to mention the exceptionally good service and the people who made a great difference - we were celebrating our 5th anniversary with our infant :) . The lady there Ms.Sakshi took care of our baby so well while we ate lunch peacefully :) Next is Mr.Arul who ensured a prompt and quick service.
Food, we wished was done a little better, but the Jr.Sou Chef personally came out to see us once we mentioned that the Veg Biryani was not upto the mark and profusely apologized assuring us that it would get better the next time we are around.
All in all, the menu seems exhaustive and prices reasonable for an airport property.

Great food but the service is a tad slow as compared to other TAJ group hotels or any other star hotels..
Tasty food..especially the Pizza is delicious with loads of cheese..Lots of variety in the main course..& various types of desserts to choose from.. Friendly & nice staff.. but still are not so experienced in serving..

This restaurant is located in Taj Bangalore opposite to international airport. Considering the close vicinity, I would prefer to visit this place everytime I have more than 2-3 hours to kill at the airport. Considering that its a newly opened, the place has the elegance that a 5 star restaurant deserves.
Dishes present in the menu are exquisite. I wanted to try a new dish in the chaat section that you dont get to see everywhere. I triedshakargandi aur singhade ki chaat. It was very qunique. Singhada chaat served in a cone made from papad.
Tried the classic french toast, but the taste and the texture of it was a bit different from what I expected. A good experience never the less.
I really have to compliment the service. The staff was very courteous & helpful.

Wah, Taj! Thats the only way to describe an experience at the Taj. I have been a guest across various properties of the Taj for a while now and each experience has surpassed the previous. The Taj Bangalore is no exception.
We had our breakfast at Cafe 77 at the Taj Bangalore. The food spread and choices are amazing with cuisines ranging from South Indian, North Indian, Continental to over the counter items. You will be spoilt for choice and if you are conscious of the calories you eat then I would recommend that you keep that aside for this visit.
The service is as expected from Taj. Ambience is brilliant and bright. Plant or space between tables so you don’t have to squeeze between them to get to your food.
Overall a great place to try out if you are near the airport and don’t want to eat the typical airport food!
We visited Cafe 77 East for lunch with my family. The food was delicious. Their papdi chat was awesome with papdi shape like a spoon a must-try who all visiting Cafe 77east. I enjoyed their banana leaf steamed biriyani 😍. In all, we enjoyed having lunch at Cafe 77 East 😍👍
In the evening, we went to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. They treated us with great hospitality. They brought us free champagne and a delicious cake but we said them that we don't have hard drinks they immediately served us with pina colada and fresh juice.
In the morning, we went to have items from the buffet, they had a good variety of tasy food.

It has a warm, inviting ambience and delicious all-day dining.breakfast buffet at the restaurant is particularly impressive; with a sumptuous spread of south indian and International specialties, it is the longest and most lavish buffet in the city.
It has a live cooking station for Omelette, fruits, juices and hot drinks.they had Many types of fine teas and coffees of your choice (American, Espresso, Cappuccino or Latte).i really enjoyed a hot waffle with chocolate sauce. It was yummm.

The feel of having food at night is just amazing as it's feel is great when compared to during the day .
Took them quite a bit longer to get the cold coffee and milkshakes we had ordered. Other than that, the service was good and responsive. The staff are kind and accomodating.

Lovely setting for breakfast. Fantastic service - even got someone playing the flute as background music. Love the high ceiling too. Food was yummy although spread was not that huge of variety.
Had buffet lunch in Cafe 77 East. Staff is excellent... Supportive .. highly recommended . Price is 2000+GST which is reasonable for the food they offer with quality
We went there on Christmas Eve to celebrate our friends anniversary, overall great decoration and awesome food taste. We ordered pasta, lasagne and fish n chips, all was great and with good serving volume as well. All dishes were good for 2 people easily. Taj's complementary drinks and anniversary cake was cherry on top. Only one calm that we had with the place was, even though we pre-enquired about the availability of menu late mid night and we were assured about full menu, we ended up in a soup as the tandoor was already closed and that voided half of the menu availability. And that's not something we expect from Taj, first the wrong info on phone and second being in airport premise, it's expected to have full menu 24x7. Pizza not being available at Taj's cafe was a big bummer. Apart from that one issue everything else was great.
