One of the franchise outlet while driving from Shimla to Chandigarh. Entrance gate is very small and at first glance, it looks like a roadside Dhaba. Main restaurant is one floor down and is huge. It is well maintained and very well decorated. Furniture and cutlery are very good. Washroom is decent. Food items are very tasty. Price is a bit high but they serve very good quantity and taste with ambience justifies the cost. Service is a bit slow.
Beautiful place.... The space is crafted in an artistic way.
Installations of human figures and animals are placed all over the restaurant making it a very lively and realistic ambience for the visitors. A small confectionery shop inside offers variety of cookies and assorted aam papad in contemporary packaging. The food and services were great. A must visit place. Kids will love the place too.

Overall, Dharampur Haveli Restaurant is a hidden gem on Shimla Road, offering a combination of delectable cuisine, elegant ambiance, and top-notch service. It is the perfect place to indulge in a culinary journey that will leave you wanting more.
It’s located on the main road, the food was really good, the restrooms are clean and well maintained, nice ambiance.
Great food, amazing atmosphere, the service was also fantastic. Had ordered paneer butter masal and lachha paranth, it was amazing.
It's on the main road. The entrance is a small one but can accommodate a a good number of people. Seating is available at 2 levels. Food is good too. Don't forget to buy the Aam papad from the reception. Parking is a bit of a problem here. Rest all is very nicely managed. 👍
Yesterday I visited this haveli again. It was good experience as usual. Price are bit high I would say 3 to 4 star hotel restaurant price. But seeing Punjabi culture there it’s always good. And they serve food very professionally. Food quality very good.
After a hectic drive from Kalka to Shimla, Haveli Dharampur was on our way and the food made my day. It was so fulfilling and all the tiredness just vanished after having such tasty food! The ambience is great too, must visit the place it's in your way.

This is an excellent North Indian restaurant serving authentic Punjabi cuisine. I and family including children just loved the food.
Don't get fooled by the entrance which makes you think you are entering a congested place. Actually they have a huge spacious area inside once you go down the stairs.
Service is fast. Ambience with pictures of erstwhile Maharajas across Jaipur through Punjab are very informative and grab the attention of guests.
Prices are very reasonable.
They have separate floors for vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests, so that those sensitive don't have to see meat on the table next to them. The food is authentic Punjabi and we loved it. You can get both Thali and ala carte.
Nice ambience and spacious. Nice statues of cows and a colourful welcoming environment for children. There are also Indian sweets and bakery items available for sale.
Curb side street parking.
We have to take stairs to the food area so not accessible via wheelchair.
Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed.
Had lunch here and property and food is really good.. U can must have your midway meal here with amazing interior
Had our dinner on our way to Shimla. As a foreign traveller, we really enjoyed the foods and drinks. Very nice and varieties of vege menus. Cozy restaurant. Affordable price. Attentive staffs. Recommended to try their foods and drinks.
A wonderful place for some proper meal during your drives through the highway. Ample parking space for your vehicles & more than sufficient seating space is available. Staff behavior is also warm, with prompt service. The interior decoration, the ambiance, and the vibe of this place is something that everyone would appreciate. The quality of food is also pretty good, but not as satisfactory as you'd expect for the amount you're paying for each dish.
Indian cuisine and more modern dishes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. Overall, I had an amazing time dining at Haveli and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a comfortable atmosphere.
Fantastic place to eat on your way to Shimla
1. Food: 5/5
Taste is authentic, quality and quantity is pretty good. They are known for Punjabi food though they have an extended menu to chose from.
2. Service: 3/5
The service is slow, it usually takes around 30 mins which is slower than average service time.
3. Ambience: 5/5
The restaurant is valley facing and offers beautiful views from the lower ground floor, the seating area where non-veg is served. The interiors are well designed and dining tables are large to handle large groups and families.
4. Covid safety measures: 4/5
Only few of the staff member were wearing masks.
Haveli is this amazing and delicious pure vegetarian dhaba at Dharampur which falls between Chandigarh and Shimla. Its a family restaurant. The place is clean, hygienic, fast moving crowds and so you know the food is safe. Their quantities are quite bit and if you’re a small eater like me, order accordingly. We ordered their yellow dal, steamed rice, lacha paratha, panner and pindi channa. We were 3 of us eating and it was quite a lot. We paid around Rs. 2500 for 3 of us, which was very reasonable for everything we ordered. Their interiors are very quirky and cool. You can take alot of pictures for the gram. Theres even an astrologer that sits there. All in all a very good visit. So do check it out!
This place is mid way between Shimla and Chandigarh. I stopped for buffet lunch while going to Shumla and ala-carte on return journey.
Decent place which gives you good sitting comfort and ambience. They have worked out the inside and outside designs such a way that it gives feeling of old Mharaja Haveli.
Kids will like the ambience most as they have ample portray of animals.
Staff is very polite.
Buffet is OK types, taste wise nothing great.
Ala-carte was nice. Must try paneer stuff kulcha, sarsoon ka sag, lassi and chass. You can also try kadhi if you like.
Pricing is little high compared to market rates.
Cleanliness is 9/10, place is really clean.
