The best place to have Tibetan food. Apart from taste, its host and chef will make you love them more.
Quite, calm ambience! Run by a brilliant musician and family! Search “we are in exile by JJ exile brothers” on YouTube and you’ll find their amazing music to grove on while you eat! Don’t forget to try their Thenthuk and also get some home made cookies at the counter! I visited here for almost all of my meals during my stay in Mcleod ! I’m looking forward to come here and try all that I missed in this visit. Go ahead try
So this is one of ma regular eating joint in McLeod whenever I am there. I love their food, people and most of all homely and welcoming atmosphere.
Locations:- it's on the way to bhagsu water fall a small and cozy restaurant next to Jimmy's Italian kitchen.
People:- Ingsel (one of the owners) is more like a friend coz I've been visiting to this place whenever I'm in town. Very friendly owners and staff makes you feel at home.
Food:- I've tried there chicken n mutton momos, thukpas and every thing is delicious. It's hard to decide but my favorite is always mutton momos. You gotta try this one if you there next.
Such a great little hole in the wall! We had delicious tofu thenthuk (not too peppery - perfect flavours!) and whole wheat spinach momos to a very chilled out mix of jazz and mellow rock. Such a nice change to the sometimes frantic pace of Indian restaurants. The owners are very sweet and happy to explain any of the menu items! Also everything was very reasonably priced - we were full on 180rs!
For authentic chicken n mutton momos, this the place you should head for. Simply amazing! Just be ready to wait.. I didnt like the thukpa much though but can be tried. They serve cookies as well.

Probably one of the best food I’ve ever tried! I will stay one day longer here so I can try more food from them!
Wonderful place with really good energy. You must visit.
Awesome place. Wholemeal flour momos and Thenthuk. Every Wednesday live music on the terrace.
A cozy, pleasant place. Superb mutton momo soup.
#JJIexilebrotherscafe is a nice and secluded cafe to have peaceful time with friends and family Despite being on the main road towards baghsu.
It surely has ine of the #bestmomosintown freshly made with atta, juicy and tasty and it also serves #indianthali
if you are in search of the best home cooked Tibetan meal in Mcleodganj, look no further. this cozy cafe is a hidden gem and I wish we had found it sooner. the owners were so kind and have a wonderful story (ask about the cafe's namesake!). the food was outstanding - the best veg momo soup i've had in mcleodganj by a long shot. and if they have it, the tibetan wine is a must try too.
When you enter this cafe it will give you a feeling that you are entering in someone's house because of the ambience, very simple cafe and food, had there momos which are great but didn't like the thupka......
This is the best place to get some tasty unique freshly prepared meal, I come Mcleodganj specially to Eat meal from this food point. These are are really Awesome 💗
Absolutely loved it... They serve good Tibetan food (made as per order) and host was so nice...
I try THUKPA noodles delicious taste and good quantity.
Fantastic little hole-in-the-wall cafe. We went 3 times in 1 week to eat their special veggie momo soup, and told everyone we know about it. One of my favorite dishes in all of India so far! Great prices, kind service, and really fresh food. They have a small rooftop terrace as well.
Visiting this place has become a ritual for me. I've been to Mcleo 3 times and visited this place every time. Loveee their chicken momos and thukpa. Also, it is run by the mother of the only truly famous rock band from the town. The vibe is very homely.
