Discovered this restaurant on a short visit to Dimapur and it surely didn't disappoint. As the name suggests, ETHNIC TABLE showcases everything distinctive to Nagaland, right from the decor to the food. Now coming to the food, we didn't go through the menu as we were short of time and chose from the 'today's special' menu. It entailed all the best items. I ordered smoked pork with axone thali and relinquish the taste until today. The pork was succulent and flavourful. The thali accompanied daal, boiled veggies, and some spicy dry fish chutney. Would like to revisit this place on my next trip to Dimapur and recommend it to everyone looking for 'home-style cooked' Naga food.

An amazing experience with every pork item & it's veg thali. Pure delight. Go for it guys. It's totally worth with mild yet pungent aromas & taste buds you would carry for a long time. Boiled veggies are just to die for.

Excellent first experience of naga food. Moderately spicy without covering the fine flavours of main ingredients. Just off the main market area of N L Road.

Run by Hornbill Master Chef Season 1 winner, this place is a home away from home comfort food restaurant. This is my go-to place for home cooked meals. Veg Thali, Axone with smoked pork and smoked pork ribs are my favourite items here. They don't disappoint.

The best place in Nagaland for ethnic naga cuisine. I enjoy their Perilla Chicken curry and thali. I am amazed how Nagas prepare such delicious food without using any oil. I have tried ethnic food in Kohima too but this restaurent in Dimapur trumps all of them. (Another reason to try Naga cuisine - With palm oil and other seed oil in our everyday Indian snacks and foods causing chronic inflammation in our body, I think it would be good to shun the use of oil once in a while and go the Naga way.)

Just love the food.. Very authentic and very delicious, the traditional wooden plates and the ambience makes it worth it all. However, the service is just too slow.. Had to wait for an hour to finally get food on the table. If you are hungry and in a hurry.. Not the place but if you can afford to spend some time waiting.. You will love it!

Ethnic Table is like an undiscovered oasis in an obscure part of the city, situated right next to Faith Hospital. The best part about the food is that it feels home made and served on wooden utensils- true to its name. They keep changing the menu depending on the availability of food items from the local market.

Neat and clean place. Amazing decor! Authentic naga cuisine! Only naga cuisine! Nothing else... nicely presented and served in traditional wooden bowls. Enjoyed everything here.
