Delicious yummy food! Rawa fried prawns and the shell fish curry are a must try!
Went for lunch a sunday afternoon, in a party of eight. Ordered some local fish (konkro) with recheado masala, plates of finger fries, alcohol, a plate of tiger prawns. Everything was fresh and tasty. All this for starters. Main course was fish thali for all eight of us, which was tasty. All in all with alcoholic and non - alcoholic drinks the entire bill came to less than Rs 2.5 k! Ambience was basic but was cool in temperature. Service was bit slow as a single waiter but he was friendly. A family run restaurant that's why the food was tasty! Worth going there for a lazy inexpensive meal!
Went to divar island around lunch time. We were hungry and from locals came to know we will get food only at Rock Inn. Authentic goan food.
Its a simple place like a roadside dhaba and as expected for a small island. It seemed to have rocks around as if inside rock so the name probably.
Ordered prawn fry, prawn curry and rice, veg thali and fried papads. Veg thali was good which was basically daal, rice, laal saag, salad and papad. Prawns were nice not very great. Overall wholesome food. Also ordered beer and some colddrinks
Service was quite good, quick, prompt and friendly. Pocket friendly. All above costed us INR 580. Go to Rock Inn when at Divar Island.
We were recommended to go here thanks to a friend. If your on the island, then this is the place to dine-in. The ambiance is inviting, family centric, supportive and friendly staff. It’s clean. The food was fresh, we enjoyed a range of starters, fish and ofcourse the traditional thali. This place checks all the boxes. Diptesh- a special shout out to you for the exceptional service. Keep up the awesome work.
We had an absolutely delightful experience here. The food was incredibly delicious, offering a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes that left us craving for more. The ambience was both calm and cozy, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The attentive staff and excellent service added to the overall wonderful dining experience. The menu selection was impressive, catering to various preferences, and the presentation of each dish was a feast for the eyes. The attention to detail in both the decor and the flavors of the dishes showcased the establishment's dedication to creating a memorable dining atmosphere. I highly recommend Rock Inn for anyone seeking a combination of delectable food, soothing ambience, and top-notch hospitality.
This is a late review, but I couldn’t not write a review for them. I stayed in Divar Island for 3nights and couldn’t go to any other place than Rock Inn because the food was so good. The owner was very nice and the food was really delicious. Thanks a lot for your service.
This place is close to home and what they have done with the place is amazing. Cozy atmosphere and the freshest catch you can get. Ordered a couple of their dishes and all were equally good. Would suggest getting there early as it can get crowded and food takes a little while to get out to you but, it’s worth the wait! We ordered the mussels rava fry, chonak rava fry and crab xec xec to name a few! They were excellent. Would definitely recommend this place if you ever visit the beautiful island of divar and want a bite to eat!
Amazing restaurant in the heart of devar island under a carved rock and a heaven for fish lovers! There are so many varieties of fresh fish delicacies with lip smacking taste. We tried the Chonak fish as well as squids and prawns.. The music and the vibe is like a chill club.. best place for a cozy evening.. Great ambiance.. great food.. highly recommended if you are visiting divar..
A cafe in a island .. slow service but kinda ok if ur just here to chill !!.
Food not so great but its the only place here ...
I recently visited this restaurant and was pleased with the overall experience. The ambiance was excellent, rating 5/5, and the hospitality offered by the staff was commendable. However, the service was quite slow, rating 2/5. The food, on the other hand, was delicious, and we ordered a variety of items like seafood, chicken, and paneer, which were all prepared well and priced competitively. Despite the slow service, I would recommend this restaurant for its great-tasting food and good hospitality.
This is the only best restaurant in entire divar island. Quality of food is very nice. The ambiance of restaurant is good it’s like natural caves.
They have veg and non veg both. We have ordered mushroom masala, French fries, prawns rawa fry, fish thali, rice and dal fry.
The food was very tasty specially the fish thali only mushroom masala was too oily that’s why I have given four star otherwise this is the best restaurant in divar island.
Cash and gpay all are acceptable here…………
This gem of a restaurant located on the serene island of Divar in Goa is a culinary delight. The entire restaurant is hewn into a rock and hence the name Rock Inn. It’s pretty easy to find once you’re on the island.
The food at the restaurant is very delicious, fresh and not expensive. We visited the restaurant on the 27, Feb 2022 in the afternoon and it was completely empty. It did start filling up a little later in the afternoon though.
We had the King fish fry & the Xinaneao which were absolutely yummy. We also ordered the prawns curry rice which was okay, there could have been a few more prawns in the curry.
The fish thali is another specialty that you should try when your there.
Our server Deepesh was just superb, besides serving us he also got us the newspaper and by the time we left he had also shared his Konkani YouTube playlist with us.
When we finally got the bill, we were astonished at the total, we actually checked if all the items were added and if it was totaled correctly.
Rock Inn is a must visit place if you are in Goa instead of visiting some of those fancy restaurants – great service and total value for money.
We are definitely coming back there, along with our friends the next time we are in Goa.
Just a word of caution – cash & UPI are the only accepted payment methods & they are closed on the last Monday of the month.
I visited this place yesterday with some of my friends and it was just the perfect vibe we were looking for!! a beautiful place with some mind blowing dishes served taking care of your taste and likings. If you are in and around Divar then this restaurant should definitely be on your list🙌
Being inspired by an instra post we came across this restaurant and I must say its taste so good with very calm environment the ambience is at its best...we had a great time I enjoyed the special fish thali along with other items...looking forward to visit again..
Undoubtedly Best place to have Food on Diwar Island.
Though only few Food Items available from Menu, we loved Veg Thali and Fish Thali.
Cherry on the Top, Caramel Custard, it's smooth and really good.
Service is quick and ambiance is simple but inviting.
Must visit if you are on Diwar Island.
Good ambience for people who are looking for calm and peaceful bar and restaurant. Importantly staffs are very kind and jovial with all. They have all the facilities comparing to other restaurants in Divar.
This probably was the local bar on Diwar island and has grown into a restaurant. Its down a flight of stairs. One wall is a rock-face. There is a tiny lawn and a grotto that is grimy and full of garbage - please clean it up. The menu is decent if limited. Drinks are cheap. The decor is art-Goa, i.e., cartoons a la Mario on a wall. Its the only other place on Diwar to eat apart from the Mercure hotel. Mondays are closed.
Super tasty food. A place that you should visit when in Divar. The king fish fry, chonak fry and tiger prawns are yummy. The other yummy dishes are chicken cafreal, chicken xacuti, prawn masala, egg burji, chicken lollypops.
A nicely maintained place for a meal open on Sundays also.
Service is excellent
Food is also tasty.
Toilet is clean good place for a family meal too
Can take nice pics with the natural rocks in the background
Place is well designed.
The Place was Cool during the Scorching heat and this place had each and every beer you can find Here. Ordered Mocktails for some Chill , This place has a TV to enjoy and have bitings while watching Cricket. Mocktails were Good , You can Try out once if You want to visit Dewar Islands. Nice Place
This place is fantabulous. I paid a visit tonite with my wife and daughter, all of us who are foodies. The food is really very tasty, quality and quantity is worth.
Squids Batter Fry, Chicken 65, Chicken Crispy were very good.
The in-house recipe of Prawns Tic Tac was fantastic, we all loved it.
To top it, the Chicken Afghani was really out of this world, with Garlic Butter Nan as accompaniment.
The host Mr. Dilip and his son Diptesh were very courteous, ever smiling and the service was great.
It's a must try. Situated on Divar or St. Mathias Island, also known as Divade, the place can be accessed by crossing the ferry at Old Goa Divar ferry point, then drive abt a kilometre before we reach the Rock Inn. The place is really well maintained and clean. The toilets are clean too. The sitting area is in ground and first floors, ample sitting area. The backdrop of the bar is a huge natural rock.
Please visit to experience the ambience and the food, you will not regret it
