I enjoyed the fish thali which had Surmai. We also ordered Bombil. The fish was fresh and quiet tasty.Unfortunately, now thw place has been shut and a new kebab place has been set up
Best place in dombivli for having fish and chicken thali. Its a small cozy outlet yet vibrant and peppy. My altime favorite happens to be chicken thali. I have tried fish and chicken as of now and both were totally tasty with proper spice rates and fresh. I would like to highlight the complimentary ice cream which they provide is just a very cute gesture and it really soothes the tummy after having heavy non veg thalis. A must visit for nonveg lovers.
We went here for dinner and it turned out to be a tasty choice. Food here is awesomely delicious and the owner Mr. Chaubal is quite welcoming. Must admire that he has personally nurtured the joint. One must try their kombdi VADE which are made up of their specially prepared flour in their own kitchen. Moreover, you feel like having a homely food than a typical hotel one.

This is quite a hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant located near Tilak chowk. It's a very small place areawise with 4-5 tables but with well done and bright interiors; and clean and hygienic too. Run by a family, this is quite a homely restaurant to enjoy your CKP-style, spicy and homely, authentic maharashtrian cuisine.
Although there's nothing fancy about the ambience, it is still a pleasant place to dine-in with instrumental music playing in the background. What's not appreciated is the not so well done space management. When full, the place is ought to get very cramped up with tables so close by each other that you are sure to bump into others occupying tables around you. So, I would suggest them to work more on their space management.
Coming to the food; they have an extensive menu along with some specials for the day mentioned on a board inside. We decided to take away dinner one fine day on our way back home from Dombivli station. We ordered Surmai tawa fry, Chicken curry, six chapatis and chicken biryani.
Surmai tawa fry - 4/5
Delicious! Perfectly cooked and marinated Surmai fish, moderately spicy with a crispy crust and tender, well cooked, fresh and succulent fish meat within. I wouldn't have minded if they had made it a tad-bit more spicy! After all, that's what we expect when we hear CKP!
Chicken curry - 3.5/5
Moderately spiced chicken curry gravy with four to five pieces of well cooked and tender chicken meat. Tasted absolutely delicious but the amount of oil that went into it's preparation was a let down. I would prefer lesser amount of oil and so, I suggest them the same.
Chapatis - 3.5/5
Perfectly cooked chapatis that went so well with the chicken gravy, but a tad-bit dry.
Chicken biryani - 3.2/5
Well cooked boneless chicken pieces along with well cooked and adequately spiced rice with a tad bit sweetness imparted by the onions. Tasty indeed, but did have scope for improvement.
Our complete meal cost us merely 550 INR, which didn't seem like a huge blow to the wallet. Now, that's no doubt economical. So, if you are in a mood for some spicy CKP cuisine which doesn't really burn a hole in your pocket, this place definitely deserves a try! I would prefer a take away rather than dining in!

This hotel is managed by Maharashtrian family. The place is small but neat and clean. Food quality is super but the quantity is very very less. Since the operations are ran on small scale basis, owners always ensure profit in each of the supplies, which unnecessarily increases the costing. I had visited this facility on multiple occasions but haven't seen any improvement in the serving time which kills patience. Food is really good but even after spending Rs 500/PP you may get the feeling of empty stomach.
I am food lover hence can't control my future visits to this place. "Hovu De Kharcha"

सुंदर सजवलेललं आणि युरोपीयन स्टाईलमधे कुटुंबाकडून चालवलं जाणारं हे रेस्त्रॉं म्हणजे चवीनं खणार्यांसाठी मेजवानीच. ही जागा केवळ अस्सल खवय्यांकरता बनलेली आहे, तिसर्यांपासून ते चिंबोरी, सुरमई पर्यंत प्रत्येक पदार्थाला त्याची स्वत:ची खास चव आहे.
टीप: एकाच खोबरट सॉस(ग्रेव्ही)मधे बनवलेल्या शेट्ट्याकडची (बे)चव खादाडकी करायची असेल तर ईथे जाणं टाळा, अन्यथा, One must visit this rocking place.
Love the CKP food there one of a kind restaurant in Dombivali which serves CKP food the best feels like home. Surely CKP people should visit it damn awsome.

Being a CKP this place was a must visit for me. I had been there with my family and relatives for dinner. We had ordered for Prawns masala, pomfret fry, amboli, wade, chicken handi, surmai curry, mutton curry and prawns biryani. The bill was somewhere in the 3000s. Here is my rating:
Food quality: 4.5/5
The seafood is very fresh. You get to choose in the beginning which fish, what size and what type of preparation you want. Its cooked in finest of spices and its just perfectly cooked, neither overcooked nor undercooked, with the correct and adequate amount of spice. The wadas were a little too thick. And ambolis were almost like dosas.

The quantity is less for the price you pay. We had three prawns per plate which cost around Rs. 350/- The pomfret was for Rs. 650/-

The place is well lit and air conditioned but small. Ours was a group of 8 people but it was difficult join two tables and accommodate all of us but we somehow managed. A TV continuously screens what they have to offer in their menu with great pictures that tempt you to order all of it.

A little slow and not upto the mark but we had ordered a lot and were busy eating so it didn't matter much as we had food coming in and being served all the time.
The best part about this place is that the owners make you feel at home and supervise the kitchen to cater to all your needs.
