This comes in one of the good places to eat when you are in a group and have different preferences. They cover wide variety of dishes.
The dining experience is worth it.
Good food + Good ambience + Good service. Customer satisfaction is guaranteed. Non veg dishes offered in this restaurant is of high quality. Overall a nice place to hangout with family and friends
We ordered chicken manchow soup and cream of chicken soup it was very good.chahat kabab platter it was good.roti and prawns masala..prawns were not clean.then nonveg sizzler which was complete disappointment.. service is very good.staff is very courteus.
This is a place which has its own standards and its Beauty. If u r a person who likes to have a good meal in a place which serves u good food ,which has a good decor and ambience then you must try this hotel. This place can b perfect for romantic dates. They even serve for large group of people. I visited the place for a dinner date ni8 with my ladies(mom n neighbor) on women's day. As it was a spcl day for women the place was fully occupied. I had to wait for atleast 30 mins for getting a seat. We ordered lababdar veg kabab, chicken platter (i dnt remember its name) ,veg Biriyani and chicken biriyani, and sizzling brownie. After orderin the starters we almost waited another half an hour for it to get served. Durin dat duration also dere was no staff to attend our table. So the customer service wasnt good as they cant handle a large crowd . Quantity and quality wise the food was good. The food here is expensive also. So the overall rating according to me is
10/10 for decor
9/10 for quantity and taste of food
5/10 for customer service
6/10 for cost of food.
Rangoli Hotel is the Best Place where you can go for Dinner with your friends and Family Membes. The Owner of the Hotel Mr Shetty is Such a Good man with Friendly Nature which makes everyone Happy.Food is Amazing and Quality is Very Good.
Catch Me If You Can😜

I had been to this resto twice..First time when I visited here, we ordered Butter Chicken..It was dull and totally dry..It was not up to the mark..
The chicken was stale..It was like rubber..
In my next visit we went for Chicken lollipop..It was good in taste..Also we ordered Chicken Tikka..Chicken Tikka was yummiest of all..
Good food, reasonable price, subtle family ambience but has to improve on the staff service. Went here with family and friends with around 12 people, North Indian and mughlai food here especially kebabs are to go for.
Overall, recommended!
One of the oldest hotel in Dombivli which has maintained itself in terms of managing their loyal customers & also their food. The ambience is very good & do try their Chicken Biryani & any other Non Vegetarian dish. Also it has a wide range of mocktails available with them.
I've been visiting this restaurant in Dombivali since the time I was 7 years old. My memory of this place was so positive that I never stopped visiting and now it is one of the top ranking restaurants for me in Dombivali!
I've tried endless dishes here but I have certain favorites that keep drawing me back here like a moth to flame.
#1 Chicken Lollipop - The ones served here are actual drums of heaven. It is not very brightly colored but don't go by how it looks. The batter for this one is perfect. The wings are skin on and the coating is thin and even so that you can get a balance of the crunch and the succulent meat in every single bite. They come 7 in a plate and me and my sister never settle for a single plate cos who'd want to fight for the odd piece?
#All their Biryanis - Oh My God. The Biryanis here are supremely flavorful. They have a variety of options some of which are veg biryani, aloo chole biryani, paneer biryani and chicken biryani. Its pure magic cos they get the flavor right every time. The masala is perfectly rendering flavor to the rice and complimenting the vegetables. What I like the most about this biryani is their caramelised onions. These are somewhere between full fried and just golden brown which gives it that bite followed by a melt. They bring the whole dish together.
#Dal Khichadi and Lasooni Palak - Both of these go hand in hand for me. This is the place where I tried both these dishes for the first time and together. That's when I understood the meaning of comfort food. There's not much to say but try!
#Chicken Tikka Masala - Lip-smacking juicy chunks of chicken immersed in the finest and most exquisite Tikka masala base. What can I say! It is tangy, spicy and masaledar - just how a tikka masala should be.
The restaurant has a decent place and does play host to family functions but with reservations. Their service has never dropped and the owner is the sweetest man I've ever met! He makes sure each of his guests is well-seated and comfortable. Most importantly he makes sure they enjoy the food.
Good ambience & place to visit with family and friends. Food is great , even hygenic. Service is also good. You can get variety of food & they serve liquor also.
The place is good, the service is also good but the waiter who was taking our order, every time we use to call him for new order he used to ignore us like what are we? The food is good but not better, at least not like other restaurant's the same dish and everything is same no new way. Anyway it is good to try
Food is excellent, service can be little bit better overall experience was good, in starters you can have is chicken in barbeque sauce and in dinner you can have chicken maharaja and roti ki tokri
Yummy, tasty, delicious non veg food. Lot of options available for each soup, starters, main course in both veg & non veg. Quantity and quality is good. Bit costly, but worth it.
The ambience is good. The service is fine. The quantity of food is average. The taste of food is good. The best part is the owner himself talks with the customer unlike other restaurants.
A disappointing meal. Lovely dining room, classy linens, very eager waitstaff, but the (alcoholic) drinks weren't very tasty, and the food was average. The high price didn't justify itself to our thinking.
A good family restaurant in the city with well trained staff plus excellent menu and service. Their Goan food menu is truly value for money. Located just 10 min walking distance from the station this restaurant has maintained their level of services since long and serving the customers with better offerings since long.
Best Restaurants in Dombivli, visiting this place since more than 20 years on regular basis , awesome taste, great hospitality from the owner Uncle and staff, never seen anyone messing upon anything,if ever you visit Dombivli, you should visit this place for sure
Nice family restro in Dombivli city.. With greatness of wine and dine.. ;)
Its bread basket is really awesome along with non veg platter and chicken masala..
Crowd here is also good so make sure of making reservation while dining in evening.

Parking issue.
Must try- chicken sizzler.
Suggestion- arrangement for parking space.
@visky_reviews
No complaints regarding food. Decent ambience. Especially chicken dishes are delicious. Also the food suggestions made by them are according to our expectations and are justified. Located at a prime spot parking could be an issue.
Taste and Quality both are top notch but the only thing that curbs them back is price. Overall if u wanna a splurge a bit and want a fine dining experience.. Rangoli is ua place
I have visited this hotel more then 10 times.
Food quality was good.
And the hotel owner was very good man.
He personally take care of all person in this hotel.
Sometimes he serves us .
Very nice hotel.
I like
My experience here with family during occasions were great..Good food & ambience..best in the list of Fine dine resturents..reasonable price.
Try chicken cochin.
Very Good Restraunt....North Indian Food and Sizzlers are at its best, but the bad thing is they don't provide Sizzlers on Weekends.A great place to spend time with your friends family and loved ones.
Sharing a city with this restaurant gives me ample opportunities to visit this place. And not once have we been let down by the food or the management. The owner of the restaurant makes it a point to greet and talk to every patron who comes in. The Waiting staff has quick service. And the food is always served as it should be, hot and fresh. If you're confused about what to eat, the waiters' suggestions about the good and bad for the day are helpful. Being a true to the core non vegetarian, I'd suggest the chicken amritsari or chicken masala along with butter naan followed by any biryani. Sea food, esp. the prawns are worth the money. The proportions are sufficiently fulfilling and none goes to waste. Quick tip - you need to be here early to get a table.
Good restaurant, but little pricey. Food quality and quantity is good. Ambiance is perfect for dinner date. Staff is good and quick service.
The ambience. 10/10 for the ambience 😍 food is also a total win... I had tandoori chicken which was good, best prawns ever i had, dint like biryani here, but the thing i am fan of is the pancakes, Chocolate flavores pancakes won my heart.. Great plc for girls hangout too.. 😉
This used to our de facto restaurant of choice for many years. I must say I owe my love for good food to this place for having served some great food for quite some time.
Having said that, the food quality or menu hasn't changed much over the years and I must say I'm rather disappointed Rangoli hasn't grown over the years as the de facto choice for all foodies given it's wonderful location.
I'm hopeful that Rangoli will regain it's sheen and re-emerge in a newer version.

Rangoli has been here in Dombivli for as long as I can remember, but as a child and young adult, it was always a bar that we never visited as a family. Now that I am an adult in my own right and that I can control restaurant choices for family eat outs, I decided to give this restaurant a try this weekend for my birthday treat.
This restaurant is located in a rather busy crossroad of the town and almost no parking space. It's better to take a rick to here than spending time and energy looking for parking spaces nearby.
The family section is up the flight of stairs so dark and dingy that made wonder if there is an electricity cut. The stairs open up into a modestly spaced upper floor that can seat at least 70-75 people in a go.
When we entered the seating area, we were promptly directed to a suitable table. It was noon and with the suddenly turned weather, it was hot and humid outside and the centralised AC was not ON. There are no fans or cross-ventilation. The staff switched the AC ON after we enquired about it. Considering it was lunch time, they should have had it ON to start with and not waited till the first customer arrived and left them sweating it out till the AC kicks in. That's just a bad call.
Ambience is pretty much okay. Same old family eatery feel in all Dombivli restaurants. The floor is clean, appropriately lit, smells fresh.
One thing that I liked was that one of the attendants almost immediately gave me a cushion for my 5-yr old to sit on for better eating at the table. This was without me asking for it. I really appreciate that. Thumbs up!
The staff provided the menu quickly and were able to help us choose dishes and explain what was contained in them. This was good as the menu doesn't give you information about the dishes' ingredients, spiciness and style.
Let me get to the food!
Starters:
Chicken Lollipop: or lollypop as they spell it, is my daughter's mandatory order wherever we go. I found them strictly okay. The chicken was overcooked making the lollipop dry and tough to chew. It also needed a dash of salt. I have had better lollipops. This one gets a 2.5/5
Vegetable Hara Bhara Kebab: a standard green pre-cooked veggie patty that is shallow fried/roasted. It was spiced well; I particularly liked the ginger hit. Could have had less potato = 3.5/5
Chicken Reshmi Kebab: the waiter told us that this was a kebab with white spice mix, medium spicy. It turned out to be a tandoor kebab coated with yellow spices. It was seasoned well, but slightly overcooked. The chicken was again super dry = 3/5
Drinks: Jaljeera, Maaza accompanied our starters.
Main course:
Prawns Garlic Dry: my dad's recommendation from his previous visit, this was a good starter that we ordered alongside our main course. Laden with garlic and fresh green chilies, the prawns tasted fresh, cooked well and beautifully seasoned. Plus they were low on oil. A big thumbs up! 4/5
Chicken Manipal: a coconut-based, Mangalorean curry, this was a red gravy. The chicken was cooked well and the coconut was not overpowering the spices in the gravy. An average curry, it went well with the steamed rice we ordered. 3.5/5
Prawns Afghan Curry: we didn't know what to expect with this one. The waiter told us it'll be green and we were intrigued to taste the sauce. This was the dish of the day with a spinach gravy with ginger and garlic, chilies making up the sauce in which the beautifully cooked prawns were swimming. The dish was great by itself, but we had it with rice, which wasn't a great combo. I would have liked the waiter to suggest that it goes better with rotis/breads. Rating purely on the dish = 4.5/5
The portions of both starters and main course dishes were good, serving 3-4 adults at a time. The pricing is fairly decent, none of them stood out to me as overpriced or unworthy of their cost.
We are light eaters and we were full with all these dishes so we didn't order any desserts.
I would like to come here again and try sea food - the menu had some interesting options. All-in-all, a good visit.
This is one of the best restaurants in Dombivli. Good quality food at affordable rates. Me and my husband have been visiting this place for almost 7 years now. The staff knows us too now :) . The best part of this place is that the owner of this resto always walks up to the people and checks if everything is fine with the food and service. I simply love this place and the food they serve. Thanks Rangoli :)
One of the oldest places for failies to have drinks and non veg food in dombivali ajd dombivali lacks in options for non veg food lovers. Prices are bit on higher side but everything is fresh either fish chicken or mutton. I always go for dum kebabs and chicken patiala chinese dishes are also well prepared.
Had been here just fews days back, they serve tasty food here! I have been visiting this family restaurant since 10-12 years! Quality of food is nice! Restaurant has bar too,i always loved dry manchurian here!
Whoa! Sunday lunch...
It's my sista's bday.. And we decided to have a lunch at rangoli...
When we entered the hotel was not crowded..
Later lot of people gathered in...
They welcomed us.. waiter was friendly..
We ordered for paneer chilly and chicken chilly...
Paneer was soft.. It was decent.. There was a bit too much of garlic in both of... Else it was totally fine..
Then I went for a paneer tikka masala...
And my non-vegan family(i am the only veggie...) Got a chicken masala..
Paneer tikka masala was good.. I am a paneer fan.. And everything about a paneer dish is only great when the paneer is soft and properly cooked.. It was cooked aptly..
Chicken masala was also good as per my parents.. Butter naan was soft.. And tasted good...
Then as I was full.. I did not have rice.. These guys had a chicken biryani.. That tasted OK as per my mom..
Overall it was a good ecperience..
Got a new restaurant in the locality.. Will visit again..
This restaurant looks promising but food is not delicious... They garnish well but food tastes like local dhaba... Also has the worst chicken biryani of my life here...
Edit: Visited this restaurant for the second time. We had to wait around 45 minutes for table. This time service was very nice even the food arrived sooner. We had triple schezwan rice and the gravy was delicious and sizzling chocolate brownies were amazing.
I have been to this place umpteen times with family and friends and I have never been disappointed by the service or the food quality. It is one of my favorite restaurants in dombivli and even though there is a lot of rush on weekends, the staff tries their level best to give prompt service. Its perfect for casual dinners especially large groups.
Ambience
Ok a bit dimly lit but a place you can visit with family
Service
Wait time on week ends is long but once u get a place ok service
Food
Food is average to good
Mentionable items on the menu are the Prawn and Mutton biryani
My family Restaurant .
My family celebrated my 5th birthday over here .
Tandoor items are fabulous .
Chicken patiyala is my Favorite dish.
I have been visiting this restaurant, family part of it, since I was in school. I was always excited to visit this place for food back then and the excitement is still the same when it comes to visit here again.
Recommended Dishes: Chicken in Cheese, Paneer Tikka, Prawns Garlic, Cheese Makai Kebab, Lahori Kofta, Mutton Do-Pyaaza, peanut raita, Triple Rice
Food: Always good. Portion sizes are just enough for 2 people. They might have to relook on their cocktails recipes.
Service: Full marks as regards courtesy, warmth and speed of service. No delays, no ignorance. Lead time is considerably low. Prompt refill of accompaniments and table condiments.
Ambience: Better than any other old fashioned Family Restaurant and Bar. Ladies or family would never feel awkward entering or dining in this place.
Value for Money: Yes.
Whenever we want to eat nonveg food we go here.. I like their nonveg food.. the ambience is good.. they offer drinks too.. though the ambience from outside looks like a bar a bit but I have been visiting dis place for year's now with family as well as frnds so I don't mind that..
Been coming here since i was a little kid. Over the years the frequency has reduced, but recently got a chance to visit this resto.
Order for the day was tomato soup, fish fingers, chicken maharaja, prawn goan curry, naan and hyderabadi biryani.
The soup was mildly spiced, while the fish fingers went well with the mayo. It was priced on the higher side for the quantity offered. The chicken maharaja was wonderfully cooked with a combination of red and white sauce, the boneless chicken was succulent. Must try if u want a mix of spicy n tangy in the same dish.
The goan curry was very spicy, so much that we couldn't have more than one serving, had to ask for parcel. The biryani was the biggest disappointment, too much of spicy gravy combined with little rice, hence the mixture didn't go down very well.
Total bill came to around 1500 for 3, which was overall reasonably spent. If you are in dombivli and looking for a leisurely place, do drop by.
Great Food in town... Must visit once... If you are Veg Or NonVeg both the food are very good... Ambience is also nice and with a geniune crowd... Also serves all kind of Alcohol with Cocktails and Mocktails... Food is very tasty n rich In taste...

One of the best decent hotels in Dombivli
Quite an old family restaurant situated in the heart of Dombivli suburb. The food taste and quantity has been surpassing all expectations since the past few decades now.
The owner and his son being very old acquaintances to us, always go an extra mile to ensure that we are comfortable and are enjoying our time. Even got us a complimentary sweet dish on the house for a special occasion i.e. birthday.
Only suggestion being - if they could refurbish & renovate the place to keep up with the current times.
Ambience is really good, it has old charm feels really good, it's simple yet attractive, staff is good and food is good as well.
The bestest dish - Chana Garlic Fry, you can have it during drinks for munching, but this kind of quality and taste hard to find.
Chinese food taste can be improved.
Overall good experience.
This review is about Rangoli Family Restaurant which is on 1st floor.
Always loved the food here.
The owner visits each & every table by himself so that he can improve his services & asks his guests if everything s okay with food & service
Good Service n Good foods, healthy and tasty. You can must try prawn dish and surmai dish😋.
Walkable 5-7min form Dombivali railway station (E).
Good food with good service. An respectful atmosphere
One of the best & oldest Family restaurant in Dombivli. Still Maintaining their standard & Taste. Owners Mr.Shetty sir is Very Humble and will guide you to have meal according to your preference. Great ambiance for Family.
And also have 2 saperate sections for Bachlores ( Gents)
Food taste is awesome 🤤😋
Little expensive and quantity is not justified according to cost.
Very nice restaurant.. Ambiance, music, seating arrangement, food.. overall experience great. Also offers free ice cream cake if its your birthday. 😊
Some very delicious starters are cheese corn kabab, paneer thread crispy, paneer chilli, chicken kababs.
One of the best place for family get-together, Birthday parties, weekend's Wine & Dine.
Ambience is sober & cosy. Services are attentive. Food quality is good.
Centrally located. Only Parking is a challenge.
Three different sections available as per your company's requirements.
Worth trying since the owner Mr. Jagdish Anna has personal touch with almost all visitors.
Very good place where I found tasty non veg dishes
My family has been a loyal customer of Rangoli since 1996 when I was still a kid. I no longer stay in dombivali but whenever I go to Dombivli and have occasion for dinner I prefer to visit the Restaurant.* The whole warm homely feeling goes to the owner of rangoli hotel.
Rangoli is one of the oldest restaurants in Dombivli and is known for the good hospitality and the superb food.
I have been visiting place many times though not frequently or its not my favorite restaurants. But, I can definitely vouch for the hotel for the reason - food.
Drawbacks are parking. The restaurant is located on a busy street and hence it's very difficult to find a parking as the restaurant doesnt have it own parking.
Rest... You can always try the tasty food whether veg or non veg, it's guaranteed to have the pleasant experience...
It is at walkable distance from Railway station.Best place for nonveg food. Taste is different from other restaurants. Many options available. Quantity of food is satisfactory and Good taste. The staff is way friendly and they always up for the suggestions. The service was fast and i liked the food too.. I guess good value for the money u pay.
