Had porotta and butter chicken from here. Was delicious! Friendly staff and good serving. Looks like any other normal restaurant but it was packed when we arrived and what we had was worth every penny.

Had an opportunity to have authentic Malayali food at this restaurant. It was interesting to visit a restaurant with dirt cheap prices on the menu card, especially when you are visiting from Mumbai. We were there for Jiu Jitsu nationals and had a lot of opportunities to eat at this restaurant as this looked like the only decent restaurant in the area. The service was great and there was one particular waiter whose name was Vinod who guided us through our dish selection. He was so helpful that we must have had almost 15-16 different authentic Malayali dishes in 3 days.
Every dish we ordered was delicious, be it puttu, appam,.iddiappam for breakfast (along with the curries which was suggested by Vinod),or chicken curry , fish curry , mutton curry for lunch. Each dish had a distinct Malayali flavour. The Kerala Parrotta is a no brainer, when it comes to Malayali food, and it is a must have at this restaurant as well.
All in all a great restaurant with separate AC and non AC halls, great service, awesomen staff and dirt cheap prices.
I buy food from here very often. I usually buy Chinese from here.. their price is very low just like the quantity :p. Its because of this reason i dont buy anything else from here. But food tastes good and service is also good and place is very clean . There is ac and non ac.They do have some parking place. The one thing i hate about this restaurant is that its non ac side is too open, even the dining area. All the dust from the road would be inside as its too close to the road.
Always have food from here as it's nearby my hostel. Their masala dosa is the best. And good place for all the breakfast items. A normal restaurant which offers decent food. Easily accessible as its in the thevara college road.
The new Mariya has been in existence for a while and i am quite a regular over there for take-aways. Very convenient for me since its walking distance from home. Much improved from the small place earlier - better ambiance, more options on the menu including thandoori items, an AC hall, juices, snacks and quite a bit. I have always liked their Chilly Beef for all the 3 main characteristics - quality, quantity and pricing. So I don't change my options much whenever I order from there, though off late have tried out the Thandoori items too. However, the flaky and fluffy porottas and the fried rice are items they don't get wrong. In short a safe bet for when you dont want to splurge and have not cooked at home.
This new and improved mariya's caters to a bigger crowd. With the capacity to hold perhaps 30 folks, they have clearly dressed this place up for the middle class and upwards. Food though, remains the same - contrary to popular thinking that the taste would degrade as they upgrade the interiors. Beef is a definite hit and Biriyanis are good too.
Food is good and quantity is great and the prices are very affordable too but when buying parcels the waiting time is too much. The atmosphere of the restaurant isn't that great too.
Food is satisfactory. Cleanliness needs to be improved. A glass of water was kept with visible dust floating. Rest fine. Good parking space.
Decent food and Good Service .Had Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Kothu porotta ...Kothu porotta seems to be a bit loaded with Onions..Biriyani was delicious.Food was felt to be compromised on portion.The place has option for Arabian dishes too.Overall it is a good family restaurant.

Service by experienced waiters was truly marvelous! Food is up to the mark. Handwash has more water than my water tank. AC serves as an aesthetic. Accountants now are friendly. Once they used to double check online transactions more than my teachers checking my answer sheet. 3 QR code available and 2 on right side works.
Very good location, near Cochin shipyard and SH college thevara. This hotel is very decent in food service
