Delectable food on a rainy Sunday. Walked in to this quaint joint amidst the buzzing marine drive mayhem. The dumplings were a feast to the palate. Just the right kind of spices and amazing sauces. Full marks for the service. Always smiling and happy to serve. Must visit.
Excellent ambience,though the waiter got little confused while taking order ,and could be less oily food becoz i felt like am eating oil rice and dumplings was great.
These dumplings from Mingāsdumplinghouse gave me more love on dumplings š„. Usually I donāt each much. After having these delicious momos, feel like to have again n again

We came here with least expectations,but were pleasantly surprised by the food that ranked high in taste and quality. A must try is the Mingās wok special noodles and the fried and manchurian momos. All in all itās an amazing place if you want to have some good dumplings and Indo Chinese food.
Iāve always been a fan of momos and dumplings. So when I heard that a new place had opened up offering dumplings, I thought Iāll check it out.
I ordered in the pepper chicken, schezwan and kunpao dumplings. Though essentially momos in sauces, the dumplings are very tasty and great value for money. Itās not just the sauces that make the dumplings tasty, the fillings are flavourful as well.
Most important thing about a dumpling is the ratio between Wrapper and the filling. In the instant case, the wrappers are light and not too doughy. Great surprise indeed.
Finally I find a new place for Amazing dumplings.
Dumplings here are actually good and reasonable.

I Frankly preferred the dragon one more. Maybe because of the sauce.

A tiny place serving some absolutely yummy food. Havenāt had food from there but got it delivered through uberEats. Their noodles was very nicely made - Flat noodles unlike the regular one. Simple preparation but fresh and tasty. Their dumplings are also nice though dumplings I would prefer having from the restaurant.
The best part is the pricing is amazing - very cost effective and affordable. Looking forward to try their fried rice sometime soon.
One of the best indo Chinese joints in Kochi. Itās a small place with 4/5 tables, right opposite to Alukkas/Federal Bank building on Marine Drive. They have lots of varieties of dumplings on different flavors which they serve with 2 nice sauces. Noodles are also good. Rices not so much.
If you are fed up of eating Kerla style 'Indian Spiced' Chinese, this is the place where you can enjoy this cuisine. Very affordable. In Kochi, I have almost tried all famous restaurants for Chinese, but this one is good in test as well as budget.Ā
Coming to Dumplings,Try Basic momos. As I have eaten Momos from Nepal and Sikkim (which are origin and no one can beat their taste), I can assure you that the inside stuff taste is very near to original momos. Need improvement in Momo chuttney.Ā
Agree that plates and spoon are use and throw for budget, but think of environment also. I had almost chewed the plastic fork. Seating arrangement is nice, need some work on staff cleanliness or dressing.
When we go to a dumpling place we expect to be served dumplings, be it for lunch, eve or dinner. Its quite disappointing to learn that Ming's Dumpling House doesn't serve them before 4:00 pm. We had gone for lunch and was sad to know that momos weren't available at the time.
Have to admit, the chicken fried rice, chicken noodles and schezwan chicken gravy were tasty. Extra points for pepper tossed chicken.
Fact to note: ask them *specifically* for flat noodles.

On a holiday in south ... was craving for spicy tangy food. A quick scan on Zomato landed us to this place. Nice and bright place.
A limited menu but full on taste and value for money. Ordered veg noodles, steamed momos and schezwan momos. Decent serving and good in taste.

I'll keep this review short. This is the first time that I've been to Mings. Went there around 2 p.m and it was pretty crowded but the place is pretty small. Ordered the dragon chicken dumpling which cost rs. 120 for 10 pieces and it arrived in less than 5 minutes and it tasted pretty good. A decent place to eat especially considering the prompt service and that it's light on one's wallet
More of a chineese taste than the usual catered to local taste...easy on pocket as fried rice starts from 70 even though the quantity is less...can try out more than 1 dish...momos are good..schezwan preferred for people who want it spicy
A very good Value for Money eatout .... Select from different Dumplings(Momos) and Chinese cuisine such as Fried Rice and Noodles at very reasonable rates .The food tastes good. The ambience is pretty ordinary and the spacing is limited . The waiters do not smile much but they are professional. Overall , a very good value for money option in the heart of the city.
Affordable, great taste good quality and clean i went with a friend and we had steamed mommos, fried rice and Manchurian cauliflower it was really tasty and the sauses were on perfect i really love that place and am planning to go there again
Small place, neatly kept, good ambience, right in the city. Came in for afternoon lunch and what caught my eye was the mings dumpling house special noodles. What was strange was that, it was the only type of noodle available there. Of course there was veg, egg and chicken variants!
The noodles dint look like the usual. It was broad and big. Tasted good and the quantity did justice to the price. We ordered a dragon chicken dumpling too. That was also very good.

Pretty good place, right at the heart of cochin. Small place but well maintained. Do park your cars in the pay and parks as they don't offer parking. I had shezwan veg 5 pieces and got 10 piece dragon chicken dumplings Parcelled. They were yummy.
Best place for awesome momos, Manchurian and fried rice. Prices are awesome as well. Must try :)

Fried rice and dragon chicken was just crazy.. perfect taste and blend of sour gravy. Killed it!

Well ! I visited this place a month ago but forgot to write a review . I had dragon chicken dumplings from here , actually I'm a fan of steamed momo's rather than the fried one . Seeing the menu I ordered the dragon dumpling hoping that it will be steamed momos but was bit disappointed to see that it is fried (because they didn't mentioned it anywhere ) on the other hand it did tastes so good and was worth the money . The place was so clean and the service was also good !

Pricing vs the quantity for chicken noodles was borderline disappointing. Dumplings start from rs 50 for five, depending on what you order.
Place is small, quite ordinary and they're open late (I went in post 9pm and they were nice enough to cook for me).
Service is fast and good.

Standing across the road, trying to find a gap in the never ending traffic of marine drive, I see this beautifully lit up quaint space which said 'Mings Dumpling House's in an exciting font. It was love at first sight !!
I just knew I had to walk in and walk in I did ! There's so.ethong about this place. Something makes it look authentic. I proceed to place the orders and noticed that the menu was light on the pocket too (extra brownie points). I'm talking Rs. 70 for a portion of Fried rice cheap.
Anyways, I went on to order a portion of Dragon Dumpling and Schezwan dumpling each. And as it turned out, the dragon one was way off the charts !! I'm definitely coming back here for more.
The food and the service was quite good ... and very cheap .... the only drawback I found was the seating...there are just 3 tables and if it's filled...you'll have to wait outside!Except for that rest everything is good!
What a lovely place to spend the evening. Ambience is just okay. Limited seating. We ordered the house noodles, dragon chicken dumplings and chilly chicken dumplings, all of which were just amazingggg. 5/5. Keep up the good works guys. Cheers.

Ming's Dumpling House is one of the tastyspots famous for its fried rice and momos. The shop ambience was simple and neat. But its a small shop where only the 3 tables are available at a time. It is one of the drawback of this place. I want to wait for sometime to get a seat. The food is served in paper plates. Chicken Schwezwan fried rice i oredered had reached my expectation. This place serves the food at the cheapest rate. The food is served in paper plates. There are a wide varities of fried rice and momos.

Been intending to visit this place ever since I passed by it around a year ago. Got a chance recently and decided to take it. The restaurant has a good range of dumplings and other dishes. Most customers were ordering fried rice and/or noodles along with dumplings. I chose only dumplings and they were good. In fact they were among the better dumplings I have had in Kochi but stops just shy of the 'great' category. Service is good and prompt. I have two complaints though - 1. The lack of low calorie beverages and 2. the lack of parking space. Despite all the flaws/shortcomings, Ming's Dumpling House is worth a visit. Recommend the traditional chicken dumpling.
We just stumbled upon this lovely place when we were touring around Marine Drive.Their menu offers steam momos, fried momos with a variety of different sauces, fried rice, noddles etc. We tried Ming's Special Noodles & Schezwan fried momo. Both the dishes were too good. Just made our day. Great food, good service, overall a must try place.
One good place to have momos in kochi, tried Shezwan chicken momos and steamed chicken momos, affordable pricing, good ambiance, and yummy food were the pros.
The only con, I could point out is there's nothing on the menu to drink, nor they served water on the table, they had only bottled aerated drinks.
Today for lunch i visited ming's dumplings marin drive its a really good place and the food is really good. I have special ming veg noodles and hot pepper chicken its was really tasty.

This place is in penta penka ernakulaam area near main road near to sridhar theater , the food is so nice and the atmospere is so classy for you and friends to visit. Its not too expensive comparing the quality of the food and verity of the menu they are offering , there is not much of a good places near by to enjoy momos
