Famous for it's South Indian dishes and delicacies. It's serves upto it's name and delivers good quality food be it tastewise and freshness.
Sagar Ratna is one place where we can enjoy the best South Indian food at nominal prices. We had Rawa Onion Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, Chettinad Dosa and Podi Ghee roast dosa. The masala in all the dosa was very tasty and Sambhar was as good as it can be. We also tried their Rasam plus Aplam, which turned out to be rather good cuz it looked so plain. All in had a great experience with family and would love to visit again in order to try their other dishes and 5ft dosa too. Loved it.
Update : Also tried their Veg Deluxe Thaali, loved every bite of my food. The thali is sufficient for 2 people. Loved the packaging as I got it home delivered.
Update : Also tried their Spring Rolls and Spring Roll Dosa which also tasted good.

Hello guys . I am a food blogger and you can find me on Instagram @foodisabliss. Best for South Indian foods. Dosa was so crispy and sambhar tasted so well. If you are looking a place for authentic South Indian food so you can visit sagar Ratna would any second thought.
I love South Indian food because firstly, it's tasty and secondly it doesn't make you feel guilty because it's a healthy cuisine.
Sagar Ratna has been my favourite go to place to have authentic South Indian food.
Cheers to the team.
ordered executive thali , curd rice and sagar ratna special thali. the rice in curd and executive thali one was a bit undercooked. rest everything was tasty. sambar, rasam, all were yum! vry well packed. timely delivery.
One afternoon, me and my colleague decided to ditch the office cafeteria and head out for lunch. The big question was where to go and what to eat! After checking various options online, we decided on having South Indian and what better than Sagar Ratna for our grand luncheon.
So we headed to the latest outlet of Sagar Ratna which has recently been opened at Crown Plaza Mall. A 15 mins drive from my office, we reached the mall. Our chosen eatery was easy to locate, thanks to various Sagar Ratna boards in the vicinity of the mall. We headed to the Lower Ground Floor and we had our favourite place right there.
Calm interiors (different from the usual Sagar Ratna’s I have been to) welcomed us. Interesting colorful paintings on the walls uplifted the atmosphere and there were plush couches to be seated, unlike the conventional Sagar Ratna’s!
We checked the menu and immediately placed our order. The first dish to arrive was Dahi Vada. Yes, this is one dish difficult to resist at the South Indian eatery. With a sprinkle of boondi, it was really nice! Right sweetness and right crispness of the Vada! Next was Rasam with Aplam (Papad), again a classic at any South Indian restaurant. My love for South Indian style papad is what made me order it and it did live upto my expectations. It was time for Idlis but rather than the usual Idlis we thought of trying the spicy version. We ordered Assorted Podi Idlis. Podi means gunpowder and our platter had two types of Idlis - Nugulu Podia and Nalla Karam Podi! The former was less spicy and the latter was comparatively more spicy. Honestly, it would be difficult to say which one was better, both gave tough competition to each other and I would urge you to try the combo for sure.
It was time for Dosa and we were not sure which Dosa to order. My favorite at Sagar Ratna is Masala Dosa, however, there was a wide variety on offer. So we resisted to order the usual and were thinking of ordering a Dosa from the fusion section but then we saw the section called Southern Specialty. In no time our table was graced with Chettinad Masala Dosa- 2 cosas layered with red and green chettinad masala. That’s not all! The dosa came accompanied with 3 types of masala in small bowls- plain, red chettinad and green chettinad. Loved the blend!
While checking out the menu, my colleague was in a shock! She didn’t know Sagar Ratna serves North Indian as well. I knew about it and recommended to try it out. So we ordered the Deluxe Thali because I really wanted her to try the North Indian cuisine as well. In our thali, which I would give full marks for not only in terms of taste but presentation as well, had small bowls of Shahi Paneer, Mixed Vegetable, Dal Makhani, Baby Naan, Paratha, Veg Pulao, Raita, Papad, Salad, Pickle and Gulab Jamum. Yummy. The piping hot dishes were simply a delight and we enjoyed the North Indian cuisine with equal enthusiasm!
It was time for desserts and we had Rava Kesari which was delicious and chocolate ice cream which was classy.
Overall, a great experience to be cherished and I am definitely visiting again!
Yesterday I went to this place for dinner with my family....this place is so neat and clean..well maintained...I ordered noodles, dosas, uttpam, honey chili potato and lemonade...all the dishes were up to my expectations but expect uttpam...I luv the way they are serving 😊😊

You will get authentic South Indian taste here at Sagar Ratna. I was excited to see filter coffee on the menu. But in the beginning they served light coffee but on request they made it strong.
Yay or Nay: a big yayyy.
Sagar Ratna is my favourite outlet to have South Indian foods. But some Chinese items are also good here like spring rolls. I loved it. It is at the basement of crown plaza mall which is sector 15. And dosas over here is so crispy and yummy.😋😋
I have tried a variety of South Indian dishes over here and can recommend the following items which would surely satisfy your taste buds as well as would be value for the money.
1. South Indian thali @ 260 rs (don't forget to try the south Indian kaapi by adding 35 rs to it)
2. Idli chaat for 160 rs
The quantity of above items were sufficient for 2 people.
I love sagar ratna food. Both dosa and north indian thali were great. Will definitely visit again.
Good taste food but a little bit costly
I highly recommend Sagar Ratna South Indian Restaurant for anyone looking for authentic South Indian cuisine in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the ambience is warm and welcoming. I look forward to dining there again soon.
Excellent restaurant chain for south indian food. We have been visited no of times there. Excellent food quality & quantity. Price are little bit higher sides.but sometimes ok to pay more as we dont have option other than this in our area. I always order Rasam with aplam. Great taste specially in winters. Another thing I always order is bissibele Bhaat ( A traditional South indian Spice contained rice).
One should try once. But one or three times I feel taste vary from previous order.
May be cook changed. I dont know exactly but Everytime I need to instruct manager to make Authentic dish.
Ambience also very nice.
Staff is also nice well trained with always wearing caps gloves.
There is one paan they are offering at 30 rupees but should be complementary if bill higher than some limit.
Some discount scheme also need to be implement.
New Sagar Ratna outlet in Faridabad, Crown Interiroz Mall. Good Veg option if you like vegetarian dishes. Test is good as per the Sagar Ratna standards. Ambiance is ok. Overall satisfactory experience.
Hygienic place , tried this masala dosa tasted really well.
Do try out for affordable and quality food
Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter was very nice. Satff was awesome, the staff also worked as a team , The food was fresh and awesome.
Food still has its authenticity but they should work more on the ambience now. It's old and weary, and doesn't give you a nice feeling.
The most popular place for south indian food. Dosa is a must try here. Sasta nahi, sabse accha !
