Good Option for Hygienic and quality street food, They are very famous for live dhoklas but other items were up to the mark as well
All time favourite place of Gandhinagarites for hot snacks. Dhoklas, mix bhajiyas are awesome. They also have hygienic ragda pani puri. Their pavbhaji and pulav as takeaway is a must. Their chas and lemonade is best to quench thirst. But the sitting arrangement and queue management is really worse hence i prefer only takeaway.

Sharing with you all the finest experience i had today for a place known as Pooja Parlour traditional fast food corner located in the green city i.e.Gandhinagar, I love this city as it is my birth place. I can say Pooja went to Pooja parlour fast food centre and found the place so comforty which wins one's heart like me..😁😁
They serve many snacks, chaat's and fast-food items. No matter whatever you order, the food is going to win your heart.
Place is a bit cramped so it gets crowded easily specially in the evening. But their service is fast so you don't have to wait long and also the price is very reasonable. A big thumbs up to Pooja parlour. The thing on shouldn't miss is their live dhokla. This is what Pooja parlour is so popular for.
We ordered:
⏺Live dhokla accompanied with two chutney's (mint-chili and red garlic chili). These dhokla were soft, spongy and are slightly on the tangy side. These dhokla bites were a great evening snack..just love eating it.
⏺Dahi wada: All time favorite dish so we ordered it. It was delicious and lipsmacking dish to have.
⏺Pakoda: Kanda or onion wadas topped with green chili and onions. A perfect combination of crispiness and spiciness, this onion pakoda is a perfect compliment to a hot cup of masala tea..But we had it with chutney's mint-chili and Garlic-chili flavoured chutney's.
⏺Bhajiya: A dish having onion rings, potato bhajiya, small aloo bonda, mirchi bhajiya topped with green chili and onion cubes served with two chutney's.
They serve pani puri, dalvada, pau bhaji, vada pav and varities of sandwiches and many more snacks.
I have to say that Pooja parlour is by far the yummiest place when it comes to snacks. I fell in love with the taste immediately. Must visit this place for once. Will love to experience different varieties of chhat's.
Bestest dhokla you can ever have...tasty and yummy dhokla is the TRP of the parlour... also you can have chaas which is also good... samosa is also good...
Must go place in gandhinagar for the mid day snacks craving... 'Dhokla' their signature dish was really so delicious, well cooked and fresh with super yummy chutney.. Second thing i tried their sev puri which was also juicy tangy crunchy spicy with full of flavor bombing in mouth.. Service fast.. Hygiene level very good.. Price a bit higher but worth to try.. 👍
I believe, so far, it’s the best place in Gandhinagar to show your devour power for chaats. I strongly recommend their dhokla, mixed bhajiyas and Dahi puri. Green chutney is love. Always love going there except for once when I was shocked to find Jan in my burger. Hahah! Must go!
This is one of the best place in gandhinagar for dhokla, mix bhajiya, dal vada and mix kathod. Taste so good and easy on pocket. Highly recommended
Pooja parlor is my only go-to place for Dhokla cravingsssss.. in Gandhinagar Everything there is superb taste to hygiene everything well maintained and their chutney is the thing that is juicy green and Red spicy garlic love 😍 colour and texture of both chutnies was so perfect.

Food quality is good but as we know good food doesn't come cheap. Been here many times quality never decreases. And one more thing, it gets congested at peak hours.
A great place to treat yourself with mouth-watering Dhoklas, Mix Bhajoya, Dahi Vada and many more! The taste of the dishes is wonderful. The shop is too small and the outside sitting cannot be used in rain or summer time. Compared to the quantity of the food, the hygiene of the place and the service they provide. The price is a little too high! The quality should be improved! If you are visiting Gandhinagar, it is a must place to try.

One of the best food joints in the Gandhinagar. Must Try Dishes: Dhokla, Mix Bhajiya and Dahi Vada. They serve many other snacks so there still many options for those who don't like Dhokla. :)
Live dhoklas are love Here. There are also many more varieties, but this is my favorite. The chutneys also Taste extremely good. Prices seem a little high. Softy was expensive too.
Today I visited this place with my wife , I really enjoyed fresh and live Dhokla ,superb superb.
We also ordered Bhel and Crispy Bhajiya (Pakodas)......and prices are also most reasonable, this is must visit place in Gandhinagar and enjoy Dhokla

I do not like seating arrangements because it is located in a basement and a very narrow area. Hence, I have mostly takeouts.
My all time favorite is Tikki burger. I neither like nor recommend crispy Pakoda.
The service deserves 3 stars only, notwithstanding I am rating this place 5 cause I believe consistency also is important after getting disappointed by my favorite restaurants with my favorite dishes.
Puja parlour is popular for Gujarati traditional food live dhokla. Dhokla is best here... Mineral water Pani Puri is also mouth watering... I also try ice dish with ice cream... Test is fantastic
It is very good place for light munching. I have tried their panipuri, sev puri and vadapau till now. All the delicacies are hygienic and super tasty. Gandhinagar needs some more food points like this.
A place not to miss if you like Live Dhokla. Other items like Chatni Puri, Sev Puri, Chat, Pani Puri, Bhajiya, Cheese Chocolate Sandwich are also good. Usually too much rush but food tastes good.
Have been regular visitor there for all the above items until left Gandhinagar :)

This place is famous for its Dhoklas and indeed they are amazing. Chutney served along with it is like cherry on the top of the cake. Apart from it rest food items are okay okay. Their softy ice cream and buttermilk are also very good. The place is very congested and suffocating.
Have done several take away orders with them.
Yellow Dhokla are fine and their garlic chutney is the best.
Their chutney is so famous that they literally people come here to buy it.

The mere name, LIVE Dhokla is the identity of Pooja Parlour. This place has had many makeovers. I still remember there used to be Pink light & it was the very few really good ice-cream parlours in the city. 5-6 years back, they converted into a small parlour which serve cold shakes & ice creams while, in the basement, they serve the snacks.
For me, so far the best panipuris in Gandhinagar are served at this place. So many places, I have tried but nothing like these. The next thing, one should try is the chocolate shake there, which is refreshing, chilled and filling. The most amazing thing about the snack counter here is, even when it is situated at the basement, the manager and the people who prepare the snacks there haven’t compromised on the quality. I definitely love their dhokla. Soft, delicate and amazing taste with the chutneys. And this is one thing I definitely miss it in Mumbai. Both the quality and the quantity have maintained always all these years.

You'll get here everything from chaat, pani puri to bhajiyas, gotas and the famous Pooja Parlour Dhoklas. You go to this place in the evening and you'll find a lot of rush. We just love street food. When the food is hygienic, tasty and cheap - people are gonna hog on to it. Definitely worth going and try out the Dhoklas without fail.
I guess it was much more famous during the early 2000s. Awesome food specially the unique Golgappes. The chats & sev-items are brilliant. Visit it whenever you come to sector 21,Gandhinagar.
You wouldn't find anyone living in gandhinagar who haven't been here for "live dhokla". Best place for quick snacks. Their spicy red chutney make it taste wow.
Great food without proper seating. Winters it's okay u can enjoy hot dokla n bajiya but summers it's like no please. They need to do something with the seating then its 5/5. Pav bhaji n pulav tastes the same like it used to taste decade back. Quality quantity its best.
Pooja. My mom and dad used to take me here when I was a kid. When Pooja used to be proper restaurant and not only fast food place. It was my favorite at that time. Now they have started fast food form couple of years. Dhokla. This is the dish which has been marketed by them to the core in all of the north Gujarat and Ahmedabad region. One of the best dish of they make. Must try. You will definitely love it. Almost everything they make is good. But Dhokla is something you should not miss. Now I would suggest you to get it packed. The place there is too small and congested. They are just focusing on increasing their profit and not their small basement where they make it. Hygiene is something they should definitely improve. At least make all the cooks and servers to wear gloves and hair net.

It seems Pooja parlour has redefined Gujarati "Dhokla". I like especially "vagharela Dhokla". Excellent taste and quality of Dhokla. Other items on the menu card is just ordinary. Some of the items are not tasty either. Difficult to find sitting place and enjoy the food as it remains crowded most of the times. Pooja seems, that they don't even care for the customers how they sit and eat properly as their Dhokla is awesome.

Probably the best place for authentic Gujarati snacks (farsan). All the items in the menu are delicacies in their own to have. Dhokla is a must to have there. My personal recommendations are Delhi chaat, sev puri, dahi puri and dal wada tastes sooo good. Gol gappas are also nice. If you are in gandhinagar for some reason visit there for sure.

As born & brought up in gandhinagar, regularly visiting this restaurant since childhood, earlier for Pav Bhaji as my father is fan of their Pav Bhaji, now we all like Dhoklas from Pooja a lot, my daughters favorite is alu tikki.
We avoid week end as it is very crowded.
Dhoklas & Dalvadas are highly recomanded.
They sell hygienic pani poori also.

A well known Gujrati favourites place is POOJA. they have a lot of stuff for you. Live dhoklas are seriously mouth watering. Bhel is also good. Delhi chat is great. Place is quite small so please pack your food and eat outside. Tastes authentic and you can take your guests and make them feel happy.

The hygiene of the place is A level and the food quality is amazing...
Sometimes we feel a bit congested but that's just because of crowd due to its popularity...
Otherwise, they prepare the food in front of our eyes and its delicious...
Most famous are its 'Dhoklas' and they even sell the 'Khiru' so we can prepare them at home...
My personal favourite is Delhi Chat...
Also they provide a great variety on the menu and all in all a great place to visit...
P.S. Cost is a little high compared to other places...

Nice place to eat fastfood and especially gujarati fastfood like dhokla dalvada and gota. They serve it with their speciality sweet green chutni and red garlic chutni. They have ice cream parlour above where chocolate chips is awesm and their masala chass mmmmm.....!!!! But due to lake of space it fills little bit suffocation in underground shop.

I know this place since ages...
Since the time Pooja Parlour use to be Pooja Parllour Restaurant and use to operate from Sector 21. (I still wonder why do the closed on the full fledged restaurant while it was flooded every time I visited...this was in early 2000...) Possibly there is no joint in Gandhinagar which serves the kinda food this place serves..or maybe I may not have visited any other place serving such food in Gandhinagar...just because I never wanted to miss on Pooja Parlour....
Good stuff, more so because it is hygienic...the menu is precise. Talks lot about what Gujarti would love...and serves is it all...The joint does not have any jazz but has defined process for effective service with live kitchen...cooking Dhoklas | Bhajiyas etc. - Love that...
The Chat and stuff is all ok kinds...while if you have a lady along with you...ensure she tastes pani puri here around....and still worth a try if you are asking couple of varieties...and when I say couple of varieties it is just because it is too moderately priced and remember it is a snack bar....the only filling variety they serve is Pau Bhaji and Pulav.
Must try here is chutney. The spicy and saucy Red Garlic Chutney is just awesome...and I bet you will not have such a delicious and hot chutney here around in Ahmedabad...
All the other chutnies served as accompaniments are awesome too...
Personally suggest to try Dhokla | Bhajiya | Dalvada and Pau Bhaji (Pooja is known for Pau Bhaji in Gandhinagar as far as my learning about Gandhinagar goes...)
Never attempted and tried any western fast food like S/W | Burgers etc...
Less on ratings just because the place is little to crumpled and little less room to move around and eat comfortably...
About service the same is too quick but at times I miss the smiles on face when it is served...it makes your food more tastier...
However...good place..and must visit...

Best Dhokla I have ever tasted!! Must visit place for their well known delicious Dhokla along with Garlic Chatni and Green Chatni! They also offer other food items such as Panipuri, Sandwiches, Burgers, Live Bhajiya, Various Chaats, Bhajipav, Vadapav, French Fries, Dalvada and icecreams-ice golas etc and so many other items.
