We were having cravings to have good dalbati in gandhinagar. Found out about this from zomato only. The ambience is very beautiful and peaceful. We ordered for the dalbati for ourselves. Service was lil slow. But when served the cook himself crushed the bati in our plate. The cook was from Rajasthan so had the authentic taste at that time. #goodfoodgoodlife.
Place is Good but food isn’t up to the mark. This place a garden restaurant so the place is huge & great for the group dinners. There is plenty space for the kids to play. You will get good privacy if the whole gazebo acquired by you. The service is great. All the staff is very attentive. Let’s come to the menu, they have Chinese, North Indian & Kathiyawadi cuisines options. But what i suggest is ‘this place is good for the KATHIYAWADI cuisine only. If you want to have the Kathiyawadi food than & only you should visit this place otherwise you’ll find many better options for the other cuisine types in nearby areas. I hope they will improve.

Nominal price, it's a place perfect for dinners during summers, I loved Hara bhara kebab from the starters and also enjoyed the main course.

Visited once in the evening. It was winter season so my mother wanted some Desi spice food and then decided to try this restaurant.
I love the food here. We tried only kathiyawadi. Masala khichadi was awesome. Sabji was spicy, had to order jaggery.

The feature that attracted my attention was the huts and the ambience. Beautifully placed huts with the comfortable sitting inside. One of the best things to savour is veg.crispy and paneer chilli. The service was also proper. I liked the food n the huts gave us the feeling as if we have booked a personal place for dine. In all, I liked the place and I visited it thrice.
I had visited this place for birthday celebration of my friend. They do provide packages which includes decoration for birthday which mainly includes baloons and a cake, not too creative decoration but a descent one. They had fix meal options but we prefered ala-carte and ordered as per our choice. Food was above average, not too good, not too bad. They even have separate isolated hut for candle light dinner and it is definately good choice for couples who want to spend some quality time. Seating facility is different and they do have good lighting paths to connect them.
Been to this restaurant for a birthday party. When entered the first that restaurant people said was "please be quick since restaurant is closing at 10 pm " am I thought for a sec,is that a good start for the service we are looking for?
Later we gave am order for soup and starters but for main course..they kept us waiting for 15 mins every time they serve rotis.
Service wasn't good,however if you are looking for a quite place,garden restaurant and good taste .. not a bad choice though.Dushyant

Visited village vatika last night and it was awesome experience to have dinner over here. We orderd for kathiawadi food,, kaju lasan, dahi tikhari, vagharelo rotlo, makka ki roti all were awesome. Price is bit high though its all vasool over here..
Great food, very professional staff. Rajwadi khichdi, dal baati is a must try here. Beautifully situated, made our friendship day celebrations memorable! Also go for Augratine, lemon coriandor soup, veg nuggets.

The food was good, we had veg crispy, daal baati. Cant remember name of other dishes but the veg crispy was really good, the best i have had in some time. The staff is okay, i guess they need to be a bit friendly, otherwide the overall experience was good.

Our food was reached on table on right time with proper service and management. Lichi kooler drink was fab! Paneer Nawabi and Malai kofta tasted really nice. It's surely one of my favourite places now!

Gone there for team party, superb ambiance, they have nicely made surrounding which feels like village, food was good especially paneer items. Lassi was also great though not sufficiently chilled. Major downside of them is they dont accept cards which is very bad....

Vanilla Ice cream (With crushes - Chocolate, Orange, mango and strawberry) - this was like a cherry on the cake.Pulp (Crush) they served with ice-cream was natural in taste (without any strong essence).
Let me repeat one more time, everything was up to the mark and quality of the food was perfect. I have been to so many parties in different restaurants in Gandhinagar but everyone was quite happy with the food that was served at village Vatika. To add more, staff was just on their toes and everything was managed meticulously.
