One of the best thalis, it is better than the thali places in Ahmedabad. The food in Ahmedabad is bit oily, but at 56 bhog food was not at all oily. The food was very tasty. The farsan especially dhokla and patra were great and tasty. The sweets sukhdi, gulabjamun and sheera were great. All the dishes were great.
Must visit place for a decent and reasonable gujrathi thali.

Had buffet dinner here, they offered 56 items throughout the meal, the taste of main course dishes was okay, not particularly great. Highlight for me was the quality they offered, everything seemed fresh and of high quality. Ambience was great too, can be a good place for family get together.

Overall it was a good experience. We took an unlimited Punjabi dish of 249 and it had a vast range of verities like welcome drink, starter, salad, papad, butter milk(limited), 2 sweets, 2 subji, Butter nan/roti, Dal fry and Jira rice.
The test of each item was quite good except 1 sweet. Their service was also good and fast.

The buffet meal here is not less than a feast. My kids have become a fan of this place as the ambiance here is not less than restaurant of a 5 star hotel.
The taste of the food gives sense of freshness and therefore the health is taken special care.

We had our engagement ceremony here at their banquet hall, and I must say that the overall ambience of this place for a family function (crowd of 40-50 people) is pretty modest and has a touch of homely feel to it... A small reception/sitting area on the ground floor along with a compact garden area at the back side gave us a the much needed space for a photo session.. was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food served in buffet.. overall, a nice little place to hold a small scale family function.

We went to see Vibrant Gujarat decorations in Gandhinagar and were hungry. We didn't want to wander around and just stopped by this place. Yeah, I did check the reviews... which were not that good but from the outside it looked like a good place. The food was not bad, it was pretty much alright. The service was nice, staff was very welcoming. There was a group nearby who were celebrating birthday and the manager gave a gift on behalf of the restaurant. That is actually a nice gesture and you don't see many restaurants doing that often. Oh yeah I tried the 56 bhog menu and most of the items were nice, not everything is made for you but over all I had a good time.
Why you should go here? To get a gift if its your birthday :D kidding. Well go here and figure out if you would want to visit again.
On a sunday cold night we 4 frnds serching nice resorent in gandhinagar and someone told that 56 bhog is good one.
Anyway ambiance was ok ok service was good we ordered a kaju curry and cheese butter masala but the chees cubes was dissapers from gravy. I asked one of the vaiter that where are cheese cubes he said in cold cheese cubes are melt very fast in gravy....lol😂😂

56 Bhog is a multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant which has a variety of dishes under Gujarati, Indian, South Indian, Chinese and Mexican/Italian/Continental categories. My husband and I chose to go for a combination of Indian and Chinese items. We ordered ‘Harabhara Kebab’ as the starter. In the main course, we ordered ‘Chinese Chopsuey’, ‘Veg. Manchurian (Gravy)’ and ‘Mushroom Fried Rice’. It is indeed important to say that all the dishes were well-cooked and had authentic tastes. The ‘Harabhara Kebab’ was well-baked and had mashed tendered vegetables inside. The ‘Chinese Chopsuey’ had a combination of thick gravy with fried noodles although it had a distinctly different taste from ‘American Chopsuey’. The ‘Mushroom Fried Rice’, which was mixed with sliced button mushrooms, went well with the ‘Veg. Manchurian (Gravy)’. Altogether, we ate a spicy combination.
The ambience of the restaurant is sophisticated with a reasonable number of waiters at your service. The price goes well with the quality of food and services offered. To put it in a nutshell, the cost wouldn’t cut a hole in your pocket.

While I was stepping on stairs I google this restaurant and saw they have Gujarati and Punjabi thali.
Ofcourse you're right I ordered both me and my husband and had this food cutlets Aloo vada and aam ras was haven for this summer there were more on this thali but couldn't eat everything. 8
I do recommend this place if you're super hungry and want some thing more then filling go for Gujarati thali , I liked it more only the puris were little oily and thick also like papad tut tut jari thi.
Highly recommended 56 Bhog for any occasion. 😍I am glad that my baby shower function was held there. On outside I was not a fan of this place... I thought it looked like a side-of-the-road kind of convenience restaurant. However, the inside is absolutely beautiful! The way it was set up and decorated was absolutely lovely. 👌The pictures look great and majestic and just awesome!
And the entire process was so clean-cut and perfect. The food and service are excellent there and I m looking forward to holding any function there in future.🤩👍

They served two dishes Gujarati thali and Punjabi thali. One of the best points is their service. We visited with a group of 30 people and all of them were too hungry after playing Holi. We repeatedly demand for Aam Ras and they serve it every time. When we visited AC is not working and also needs cleaning in bathrooms and surrou6nding. Rest all too good... 👌👌
