We went here for lunch, had Kolkata style chicken biryani, a side dish of chicken and mixed rice. The quantity was good. Food was not bad. Good view. The staff was also very good and active. Not bad for a try. It is at the very end of the Gangtok mall.
Khan Uncle’s was a name that I’d heard multiple times and I got the opportunity to try it today. The decor, Bollywood dialog themed, once vibrant and clean, now looked shabby with dirt and smoke on the walls that had built up with time. Regarding price is quite high and put so many tax that I don't like personally.
Great place! Stuff behaviour was great. We ordered chicken biriyani from there. The quantity was great and it seemed like it was for 2 people. Though, it seemed like the biriyani was a bit dry. But the taste was great, especially the piece of potato which was delicious.
One star less for their staff who was busy in enjoying football match over television instead of attending customer. Food was very good Chicken was very delicious. You can stop here for awesome Biryani. You can try chicken biryani (calcutta) , veg biryani is equally good with all veggies and paneer. Chicken roll is a must try of this place.

The best taste in whole Gangtok City. Dont fall for other overrated restaurants like Parivar. No one matches Khan's. The biryani and the Kassa ia phenomenal, so are the other veg items and even the rice is perfect here. Highly recommended.
Kolkata style biryani is available here but a bit disappointed for not getting a single dish of mutton available. Nice ambience though.
