This place is called The Dragon Wok, located in Gangtok. Right on the MG Marg, with wonderful Dragon engraved exteriors, this restaurant is one the biggest and best eatery of Gangtok. On the second floor of the building, this restaurant has a classy decoration with mostly interior lavish seating arrangements. A few tables are also placed in the balcony as well overlooking the busy MG Marg. The classy interiors of the place with quirky Chinese totems does justice to the decorations as well as the name of the restaurant.
The restaurant only serves Chinese, so as a large group we had the chance of tasting all the major dishes. From Dragon Chicken to Crispy Chicken to Chilli Paneer to Wok Fried Pork, we ordered all. The chicken chowmein and mixed fried rice along with the chicken gravy served as the perfect main course.
The quantity and quality of the food was quite good. Both cash and card was accepted here and the servers were courteous as well.

Tried their chicken Manchurian, golden Prawn and chicken Prawn.. Chicken Manchurian was really good and spicy.. Prawn was a different taste.. It was good as well

The quality of the food is good. But the quality of the main course wasn't sufficient for 2 people. Anyway, the ambience is awesome. By the way, its located just in the centre of the mall.
Amazing view of hotel on mall road. It looks good at night. I had dinner there few days back when I was in gangtok. After long journey I felt so much hungry and wanted to eat Chinese food then I decided to go there... I tried and like very much amazing food with good quality. Momos my favorite in gangtok must try that is totally different from North India🇮🇳. I give 4 star of good food and not 5 to improve little bit more on quality.... Rest all fine

The restaurant serves good Asian cuisine and offers balcony seats, the ambience is perfect, a good bar, beer is very cheap in Gangtok and menu consists of variety both in liquor and food, servers are very smartly dressed and efficient.
I was looking for some authentic momo so visited here during trip to Gangtok. location of restaurant is excellent. They have drinks also in menu. Music was light and soft. Service was good and staff were also nice.
The ambiance was excellent, got a table at the balcony over looking the MG road and it was raining. The service was exceptional. Kudos to the team. We tried the sweet corn soup which was very soothing for the cold weather, the momos were delicate the way we like it, the egg plant in bean sauce was outstanding. The prawn in red pepper sauce was the highlight. I can’t wait to go there again and try their pork!!!

The restaurant clearly has a brilliant presence about it for sure. The two dragons at the entrance adds to the awesomeness for sure .The ambience is simply superb . It's spacious convenient and full of light .The service is extremely friendly and prompt .The best part is the wide array of dishes that are available .We had dinner and lunch on two separate days and on both days we were more than happy with the meal .For the dinner we opted for a pork dish (sorry forgot the name) along with Tingmos .The pork dish is hands down one of the most unique and brilliant pork dish i had in a long time .On day 2 we had lunch there .For the lunch we opted for Pork Gyathuk with local sour vegetables . Trust me this will blow your mind .It's warm hearty little mild yet the sourness will wake up your senses. Highly highly recommended .And to top it all the green teas are complimentary ! So a must visit for all the Sikkim lovers if you love to try out something different than run of the mill staff with a great ambience and service then this is the place to be .
Awesome place to try new dishes ...fantastic food. However, be prepared for wait upto 40 mins for your order to come. Cosy ambience. Very polite staff. Must visit.

On M. G marg if u see 2 big glowing colorful dragons be assured u found the restaurant, a long steep staircase which will be bit difficult for adults to climb will reach u inside this restaurant. Warm and cosy, well decorated, good ambiance. They have outside balcony area with 3-4 tables to enjoy the view and if u feel cold come inside and have your food there. We went with family with our parents and us total 4 and had chilli pork, crispy chicken fry and some hard drinks to start with. Chilli pork was delicious, crispy chicken fry was bit surprising as we were uaed to of it being look like "Kurkure" meaning strands of shreded chicken fried in a batter whereas here we got big chunk of chicken fried in batter and cut in small pieces. Tasted good and different. Next we had mixed fried rice, chicken chow and kung pao chicken. All were good, not excellent but good. They have seperate smoking area too near toilet which is much needed in this bar cum restaurant. Overall this is a good place to enjoy some delicious food and drinks for a group of friends and family.
The ambience of this place was great.
5 stars for the quick and great service provided by the staff.

Ambiance is great.
Ordered Pork fried rice, Chicken Fried Rice, Soft local bun and Dry pot chicken.
I'm very satisfied with the taste of dry pot chicken.
But pork fried rice wasn't good.
Rice quality is poor.
Overall good lunch.
They have lot of non veg options in food menu.
Excellent food with jazz and perfect ambience.The waiters are very friendly and should definitely try the beef crispy in hot garlic sauce..🙂🙂
Probably one of the very few places on MG Marg that deserves all it's 5 ratings and seems genuine for it's items and taste. The staff is very polite and the food is worth it. Would always suggest this to oriental food lovers in MG Marg
For Japanese food lover this is a must visit place. Uniquely designed in the heart of MG road. Options are plenty and the ambience is just fab. Rates are a touch high but this is a upmarket place. Hard drinks are also available. Staff are cordial and well mannered.
One of the best chinese food joint in MG Marg. Easily recognisable located just above the Bata store. Have outdoor balcony seating option too. Must try their Pork Ribs, too good.
That's the best Japanese restaurant in MG marg.though the price of dish is little bit higher but worth it.Avoid miso soup ,that did not go with our taste .Ebi tempura is a must try
Very nice place for excellent food and great atmosphere. The bar is awesome. The service quality is fantastic with very very well behaved staff.
Only issue is that it’s a steep climb of at least 30 steps to reach the first floor of the restaurant.

Amazing place to go to. They have amazing Japanese food and various other cuisine. Though prices are a bit higher than other places but it’s totally worth the price. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for some Japanese cuisine in Gangtok, this is a nice restaurant. It is centrally located on MG Marg, we thought it would be a gimmicky restaurant but surprisingly the food tasted good. We had tried Ramen, sushi rolls, the flavours were Japanese and the prices for the location was reasonable.
Located on the Mahatma Gandhi Marg, this is one of the best restaurants I tried in Gangtok. The food served is delectable. They have a special Japnese food menu, one can try from a plethora of Ramen/ sushi options. There is a Chinese menu as well and the food is really well prepared here. The ambience is cozy, service staff is very polite. The washrooms are clean. Since movement of cars are not allowed on the MG road, this place does not have a parking place.

The facade is really impressive and is an instant eye catcher for anyone strolling on M.G.Marg, Gangtok. Lured by the frontage we directed our steps to this restaurant, and was equally intrigued by the inner decor and warm hospitality. We had various food options from Chinese to Japanese, and enjoyed every morsel. But quantity of the main course dishes could have been a bit more.

Went for lunch. Tried double cooked pork fried rice, normal pork fried rice, pork dry fry, prawn chilli, iron plate beef or beefy sizzler. Also had rose wine and beer. It has a large seating area. Offer Chinese and Japanese also. We were 7 total bill was approximate ₹5000. Washroom available inside the restaurant. It is at the height of second floor.
The Dragon Wok has always been one of my favourite restaurants in Gangtok, especially when it comes to their Japanese Menu. The ambiance and the wall art is pleasing to the eye and compliments the cuisine and vibe. The service is another plus. We went there for lunch since I was craving a hot bowl of ramen. We had the Miso Ramen and the Tonkotsu Ramen which were both awesome; I have a slight preference for the latter and its rich broth. We also had the Katsu chicken which is another favourite. The dining experience was amazing yet again. A suggestion for improvement would be to renovate the current washroom or maintain a higher degree of cleanliness.
We went to this restaurant for lunch on our trip to Gangtok. Very conveniently located on the MG Road, the restaurant has good sitting space. The specialty here is Japanese and Chinese food.We had a great Experience, The Food was fantastic, ambiance 10/10
