In my numerous visits to Gangtok, I have tried food from a lot of restaurants. More often than not, one of the dishes I always order would be a plate of momos. Even after trying numerous places, Food court's momo is the one I go back for everytime, even though it is a pure vegetarian restaurant.
Located just under the SBI branch of MG Marg, it is a simple place with adequete seating. The servers are extremely polite, but the service is quite slow. You can see your food getting prepared at the open kitchen in front of you.
Coming to the food, until this time, I would have proudly stated it is the best momos I have had, and stood by it. But I cannot say it after a visit this time. This time, the momos felt underwhelming and the soup just bland. I hope they were just having an off day and their quality has not decreased. But in case it has, it would be a great loss.
I will definitely visit again hopefully to find out it was just a bad day, and then visit a lot of times again after that.

I guess the best place for plain roti lovers😅 and for those who love simple food, best food, good service.. A bit crowded but worth to wait. A must try place.
Had Masala Dosa, Chilly Paneer, Veg Biryani and Momos. All are tasty and good. Price is reasonable being located at a prime place MG Marg at Gangtok.
This is one of the few only Veg restaurants in M.G.Marg and this can be easily missed as it is in the basement floor. When we went in it was late evening and the place was slightly crowded. We ordered for Aloo Paratha, Paneer Paratha and chola bhatura. All the items tasted good. Unlike in other places where we had, bhatura was not oily.
Here I had food several times These foods taste good and they are giving it at a reasonable rate. They have a live kitchen which is not available at all times.
We had masala dosa and thali here. Both were good and at reasonable rates. I didn’t expect a South Indian signature dish like masala dosa to be done well in a north-east state. 😄
Good Food. Neat and clean restaurant. Spacious too.Staffs are willing to help anytime. You will get South Indian dosa varieties too here.The wait time is higher.The restaurant has live kitchen. It is bit difficult to find the restaurant.
Overall okay kind of restaurant.. Lil costly food. Quality is not as per price!!! We got thali @285+Gst, extra Roti with butter @20+Gst
Serves traditional dishes cooked in an open kitchen! The place is spacious and can accommodate groups. Food can said to be average. Located a few steps down the MG Margh!
Ordered onion, aalo paranthe and tomato soup. Everything was tasty but quantity of soup was less.
Hidden down an alley on the main street. Looks like a burger bar but serves tasty Indian meals. Clean place with open kitchen and friendly staff. Thali was decent!

It was crowded on a rainy evening in Gangtok in early October. Atmosphere was good. Service was little late. Taste was good. But was spicy for a Gangtok hotel. Ordered three Thukpa and paneer tikka. Thought will have a quick bite for snacks in the wet evening. OMG. Amount was huge huge. One Thukpa would have sufficed for entire family. So guys beware before ordering. See how much you can eat ( individual capacity differs). May be the person taking order could have guided seeing a couple with two kids aged 12&07 ordering food for at least seven adults. Otherwise nothing to complain.

Good food, but note that they do not open until 10 (the Google Maps says 9:30)
A decent place with pure vegetarian options in MG marg. We had Dosa, momos, Veg Thupka, French fries and found it all good.
Decent food but i would call it a little overpriced.
This a good restaurant here you can get all food and snacks items with good taste. Today we tried chats and momos both were really good and delicious. The price of each items are affordable with reasons. The workers and owners are really doing their job at best. With friends and family we can enjoy our times to have snacks and food times.
