I have dined at this outlet a few times before, but due to the present COVID pandemic, decided to order-in this time. I had ordered Onion Masala Dosa and Mixed Vegetable Uttapam.
The packaging was great. Dosas and Uttapams were neatly packed in cardboard boxes. Chutneys and Sambhar were provided in separate containers. Although I was not too happy with the way dosas had been wrapped, entire content of the dosas was squashed up in the centre. Nevertheless, this is expected when you order-in and not go out. Uttapams were great too.
Cooking instructions were not followed. I had ordered 4 dosas and 2 uttapams but the quantity of sambhar was not sufficient, even though I had specifically asked this in the instructions (There is a reason why apps provide that option).
Is a review for a south indian cuisine even complete if we do not talk about chutneys? The Coconut Chutney was great with perfect consistency. Red chutney was great too, but yeah, coconut chutney was definitely worth the praise.

Sagar Ratna is one of the known names in the restaurant industry is the most popular name in this present world. Nowadays the restaurants are not just a place to come and eat but now it’s becoming a place where people can meet and spend time together to enjoy. Just like another franchise of Sagar Ratna this place has also got some awesome food, it’s a pure vegetarian restaurant great quality and price friendly. There are different variations of South Indian dishes available here. I taste Paper butter masala dosa and Mysore masala dosa which was very tasty. Love their rasam and Idli Chat. The service here is just fine as staff seems to have a happy go lucky attitude towards service. The ambience is simple and clean. Parking facility also available. Overall a nice place to visit with family friends for South Indian dishes especially dosa.

Whenever i crave for south indian food..i always visit sagar ratna for malabar parathha and amazing dosas..they have variety of dosas..must try

Famous for North Indian food . If You want to eat best food here only Try north Indian. CHINESE isn't so good here

Outlet is next to country inn and suites. I visited some time back. They had their south indian thali that time. On request they replaced poori with roti. It was huge quantity may be two people can eat it. I also had kokum soda which was goodtoo

Sagar ratna, the place to eat food. I am big foodie, i love to eat veg food. I like to eat masala dosa. I usually goes here with family because its food is delicious and everyone love its tasty food. Finally i prefer to eat in sagar ratna.
- Sagar Ratna is my all time favorite south Indian joint.
- I used to come here since many years.
- This Sagar Ratna is located in Galaxy multiplex campus so after/before enjoying movie one can enjoy dosa here.
- I love Butter Masala Dosa and Panneer Butter Masala Dosa.
- Service is very good.- There food quality is very good, specially sambar and chutney. You can ask for extra sambar and chutney multiple times :) they will be happy to serve you.
- Recommended place if you are going for a movie in Galaxy multiplex.
- Parking is easily available here.

Another breakfast stop for morning lovers. Surprisingly, that breakfast meal has changed my opinion for Sagar ratan. We ordered Assortment Podi idilis, Ghee Roast Garlic pepper Dosa with small custom addition of onions in it. And watermelon juice. Food were fresh and good in taste
Visited this place for quick lunch during our visit to Ghaziabad between meetings.Sagar Ratna gives good option to have traditional dining experience especially south Indian cuisine.. Dosa,uttapam,idlis.one gets feeling of purity and exotic experience..I try to find sagar ratna to fulfill my taste buds for south Indian delicacies
We ordered two deluxe thali. The food was hot and fresh. Delivery was on time. The quantity was also good as well as food was tasty.
I visit this outlet of Sagar Ratna once in three months. The food here is of good quality and satisfactory.

This outlet of sagar ratna at Sahibabad is not too far from my residence.We usually come here for south Indian breakfast.Today we have visited this place for dinner.
My wife was craving for idli sambhar,since my parents are also here and we can have option of no onion garlic food at this place.So we decided to have dinner at Sagar Ratna Sahibabad.
From simple idli sambhar to more exotic veggy cheese dosa we had all we could .
Humble and efficient staff, polite and courteous waiters. Food is worth every rupee you spend here.
Looking forward for another craving.
Puliyogare Rice was too good,so was rasam and rawa masala dosa. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

Do not really understand the poor ratings. This is a great South Indian pure veg restaurant - in fact, a delight in this deserted area. The veg Thali (Rs 250) was awesome with all the usual trappings, veggies (one dry, one gravy), dal, sambar, rice, pooris (large sized), dahi, sweet (pineapple halwa), appam. Will definitely visit again.

This the only outlet of sagar ratna were I love to vist again n again for having awesome South indian cuisines all other outlet of sagar ratna is hopeless in comparison of galaxy mall outlet, I always heard defence colony sagar ratna is best but I had worst experience over there food is so hopeless even can't express and preet vihar outlet they don't no actually how South Indian food is, only galaxy mall sahibabad sagar ratna is awesome in each way food and service staff is so polite n humble

The delivery was before time and the packaging was really nice. There was no spilling. Dosa was warm. Sambhar was hot. Really loved the dosa. It's always a pleasure eating here or ordering from this place.

So I was here for a movie and I though of pre snacking befor it. I grabbed Poori Aloo With Kurma and for the dessert I had Gulab jamun with Ice cream which was totally a bliss !
Though I have been coming here since I was a kid and this place hasn’t changed a bit. Nether there quality nor their quantity of food. I have always seen this place jam packed.

Delivery was as promised, taste was fine, the concern was that we got some sabzi instead of sambhar with Rava idli we ordered. Dont know if that was to be served with Idli or mistake. But we expected sambhar.

Its a good place to have south Indian food with family,, the menu is good with some variety of dosas and other south Indian dishes! However the service was found a bit slow , overall its good but not really great!
I went to Sagar Ratna after a long duration with my parents . It’s mainly famous for its South Indian cuisine but one can enjoy North Indian stuff as well. We ordered a paneer butter masala and dal tadka, food was on a higher side and service was acceptable. To some extent I found less quantity compared to what they used to serve earlier, but anyways it’s a good place to dine.
near and dear restaurant for my... i love sagar ratna south induan verymuch... mostly the red tomato chutni they provide with thr dosa or idli... thy gve south indian delhi taste..

2. Taste is delicious, and the price is proportionally high.
3. Many varieties of food are served here.
4. One good thing is this restaurant opens till 11:00 OM

I visited the outlet almost after 15 years .Had Mysore dosa
I appreciate they are able to maintain quality. It is still the same .

The soft music and peaceful surrounding inside the galaxy complex ensures good ambience.

However the green chutney even during delivery and dine in sometime can be better from this store. Rest assured u are going to enjoy food here.They provide the best in their business.

Portion - 4/5 (enough, different vareity of chutneys available with Dosa)
Value for money - 3/5 (Veg chowmein and Dosa both were around ~250 each. Both are highly priced.)

Visit (Feb 2023):
I was really disappointed during my last visit here. Dosa did not tasted the way it does usually. Asked for a Pepsi but that was sweet without fiz. Asked for some ice that was not available, waiter was not good.
Subtracting 1 ⭐ and reducing the rating from 5 ⭐ to 4 ⭐.
Will try sometime again and will see if this trend continues and will stop going if it falls below 3.
Earlier visit: Really good outlet of Sagar Ratna. Must try their Garlic pepper dosa, we loved it. Offers really good variety of North Indian food as well which we have tried on our earlier visits.
As always taste was really great and the Service was up to the mark... its a really old restaurant here i have many memories attached to it.
Nice place to have good south Indian food and there are multiple options available in food.
I would recommend to go once at least and We had Spring roll Dosa that was delicious.

Food quality - We thoroughly enjoyed our meal as we ordered whatever they are specialized in. So it was a good food experience for us. Below are the items we ordered -
Cold coffee - It was good in taste and quantity was decent.
Kadhai paneer - It was really good, moderately spicy and quantity was ok for 2 but if you are heavily hungry then you need something more hence we ordered uttappam
Tomato onion uttappam - It was good as well and was quite filling. Though we expected it to be a bit crispier.
Pricing - Ummm I think if you want a filling meal then it would be close to Rs350.
Ambience - was good and gives you a fine dining feel. I liked it.
Service - The staff was really humble and polite and we liked the overall service.
Washroom - There is no washroom inside the restaurant.
