Everything at Villa 259 is a delight - food, ambience, service. . . everything, barring the price to portion ratio.
We ordered the garlic prawns starter, veg pizza and tambdi ravioli. . .the food was delicious and the beer was refreshing. The staff is extremely warm and diligent. The team does a good job to make your visit worth.
For a mellow vibe sans pretense, generous portions of food with rich taste and cocktails to die for, I'd highly recommend making a trip to Villa 259. Tucked away in a quiet street, this quaint, old Portuguese bungalow feels like an ancestral home in its warmth and ease of being. And if you're lucky enough to run into the wonderful folks who run this place you're guaranteed an amazing conversation and top notch recommendations from the already awesome menu!
This is a must visit place in GOA! You will love the renovated old Portuguese villa. The ambience, the variety of food & the wide range of alcohol. My personal favourite was the Urrak cocktail & the pork chops 🥳. Wonderful hosts and kudos to the entire staff of Villa 259.
Will come back soon 😎
Don’t forget to meet Charlie at Villa259 😉
Villa 259 offers a fantastic experience with its great ambience that sets the perfect mood. The food is exceptional, and the staff is not only friendly but also adds to the overall positive atmosphere. A perfect spot for those seeking a delightful dining experience.
Villa 259 in Assagao, Goa, exceeded all expectations with its outstanding service. The staff's attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the dining experience truly exceptional. The ambiance was nothing short of awesome, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal. Every Wednesday they have kareoke night .The upcoming event adds an exciting touch, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to providing diverse and engaging experiences. Highly recommend Villa 259 for anyone seeking a delightful blend of top-notch service, captivating ambiance, and exciting events. A definite must-visit in the vibrant culinary scene of Goa.Evening is pleasant here with music playing in this beautiful Villa almost 200 years old.
Incredible food and cocktails with lovely ambiance….and…If I wanted to host a party, this is where I’d do it. It’s an old Goan house, beautifully renovated, comfortable and tastefully done. The flow of the outside to inside, with extra rooms where guests can have some privacy is perfect. The staff is gracious and the bar tenders are adept at creating good cocktails, though they have their own craft beer as well. Sophisticated, not fussy. We really loved our lunch here and this might be our new favorite place in Goa! Good parking for cars as well. I only took a few pics of the inside and one private space in the back. The restaurant’s main dining room is larger and there is an outside area in the front where you can dine as well.
More than 250 years old Portuguese villa "Villa 259". Takes you back to Portuguese times from the moment you enter. Soft music, welcoming staff and owners with smiling faces. Amazing starters, and craft beer. Everything is very cool...The spiced cocktail is very nice. An unforgettable experience that will make you come back again and again.♥️
Went all the way from Panjim to Assagao just for this place. (how can I miss when it has 4.9 rating).
For me it was a mixed bag. The food taste was very good for some items and just OK for certain items. The potato wedges was a disappointment. The pizza was good. The Squid rings were very good. But the quantity is something which is extremely less for the price they charge.
The Arbour IPA was good. The cocktail was just OK.
Very expensive.
Great food. Lovely ambience. Secluded and peacefully nestled in the village of assagao
Found this lovely place while searching for a brewery in Goa. And I must say I found beer here which is called as hazy IPA in US, but here in India it goes with names similar to flavored pale ale beers. I loved their beers. They didn't have a huge variety of beers though, but whatever they had was the best.
I was nice to meet Anuj, the owner of this brewery and we had a good chat about beers. I really liked the friendliness of him and I invited him to sit with us and he too had beer with us.
Their menu on the portal is good. Well-categorized menu-items and drinks and easy to browse. We were not sure about the varities of food and I must say Priyanka was very helpful in choosing the food. She is knowledgeable about the food and how it is cooked and I really appreciate that. We had ordered Chicken Chimichurri and Chicken Pharma with veggies. I liked Chicken Chimichurri in particular.
Parking is behind the restaurant reached through narrow road and ample parking space is there. The walk from parking to the restaurant is pleasant and at the time of our visit, they had an exhibition of paintings and a boutique (sort of) inside.
Highly recommended place. And I would definitely visit once again for their beers next time I visit Goa!
