Chez Christophe is a one of the few beautiful gems along the coast of Gokarna. Visited this place on the last day of our trip & even though they were still setting up & not fully functional we didn't return from the place disappointed. We hung around the place for almost the entire afternoon enjoying the beautiful Gokarna beach & munching on some great food. The star of the day was the amazing Chocolate Moose & a delightful apple pie which even my dessert resenting friends goged down happily. Our amazing host Neha was happy to give a quick tour of the place & also shared interesting insights about the place. Hoping to visit them again once they are fully setup & Christophe returns with all his secret ingredients..

Delicious French cuisines hand crafted by the Chef himself Chez Christoph ( A very passionate guy). I had the best chocolate mousse ever. It’s a must try.
The environment is very welcoming and peaceful with world class music ( all thanks to Sandeep Kamal and his vision)
All this comes with an awesome beach with ultramarine blue water and a nice breeze, helps you rejuvenate.

Was there two years ago just for a couple hours thanks to christofe and a girl on the bar I found my friend elena at main beach and had the best time of my life the month afterwards with nice people at paradise beach before they made the cafes and stuff so merci beaucoup man best wishes one love

A nice little shack out there, serving great food. They have a wood fire oven, where they bake their own fresh bread. They welcome u with Cheeslings and you can decide what to eat/drink meanwhile. The menu is fab,noticed most of the dishes do come with a generous portion of Lettuce salad. The ambience is great. Me and my friends had a very nice time.
Chez Christophe is the perfect destination for a laid-back beach experience, nestled on the shores of Main beach, Gokarna. This place exudes a charming and rustic vibe, with its thatched roof, wooden interiors, and earthy tones. The beachfront location is simply breathtaking, with the sandy shore stretching out as far as the eye can see. This hidden gem left us spellbound on New Year's Eve with the perfect blend of good food and great music. The service and staff at the shack is warm and welcoming and owners went above and beyond to ensure that guests have a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable beach experience in Gokarna.
This place is a hidden gem and a great place to enjoy French cuisine in winter days, facing towards the beach with a very nice ambience.
The hosts are from a different part of globe and collaboratively running this cafe.
The seating arrangement is done like a dhaba, it has evening events on weekends and don’t miss them.
Food was okay to me.
Ambiance and music was nice.
The washroom is really unique. MUST VISIT 😜
A few things which did not work out for me-
- Commutation - there is no proper road to this cafe and it’s not safe during night. We stayed late for celebrating a friend’s birthday and we did not find a taxi or auto while going back. So advisable to not stay late here if travelling without commute reservations or own vehicle.
Amazing experience we had in Chez Christophe Gokarna French Café since 2010.
We had a special night because we got to see live a duo of Clasic Indian music. It was just incredible how talented this guys were. They made the night great we amazing music. Thanks a lot.
About the food, it was delicious. We even came two nights in a row were we tried the following dishes.

-Mushroom pasta
-Veg pasta
-Baguette with cheese
-Green salad
-Profiteroles
-Creme brulee
-Chocolate Mouse
-Tarte Tartin
Me mostly recommend the mushroom pasta and the creme brulee. Amazing, super tasty.
For drinking we had some beers and wine, really good both of them.
The restaurant is located in the main beach just infront the ocean. So during the day you can enjoy a beach day with a great food. Must recommend to come to try this restaurant.

Typical goa kinda place. Placed 50m from the beach. It has a wide variety of French cuisines in the menu also there's a French chef cum owner guy there. At night the lighting becomes just extraordinary. Cleanliness has a big scope of improvement 4/10. Food is just too overpriced but it's expected at places like this. The ambience is just awesome
Very chill vibes here. I didn’t eat much. Just had a beer. On full moon night you can see the moon rising from behind this cafe. Sharing some photos. Met a girl who was at the counter and very hospitable. Must visit if you want to spend some hours during afternoon and evening.

What the hell!!!!
How could this place be hidden away in the sandshores of gokarna beach. It's just the best french food I've ever tasted in my life.
The Quiche Lorraine was our first dish, it was soo soft and warm...the backnbits with cream and that delicious crust. The taste was heavenly. I think they are using fresh ingredients.
The second dish was the King fish, it came with these small potatoes fried and the plate looked amazing.
Next one was the chicken with white sauce...I forgot the name of the dish...that was also amazing.
All of the dishes tasted amazing
I would suggest you to get the lemon Nana for a drink.
Mint and ice grinded into a sweet lemon beverage. Soo refreshing.
This place also doesn't cost too much.
I hope you find this place along the seashore.
When you get down from the parking to gokarna main beach, take a stroll to the right side. Your left side will be facing the sea. Walk and walk.. you will find the lights on poles.
Hey, Chez...please put a much more identifiable sign upfront.

We had the Creme Brulee for dessert.
With the sugar layer on top, the soft and yummy dish was heavenly. .
You could spent a week at this place trying every dish and it would be worth every penny.
It was a nice place we went for dinner. Such a wonderful ambience. You can slowly sit, eat and enjoy the sea vibes here.
The food order will be closed around 10:30 PM in the night. But restaurant will be open.
Bit costly but a one time try.

The atmosphere is very nice, the music is not too loud and it’s possible to have nice conversations. Overall the location is pretty, and it also has free shower.
The food is not the best ever, but neither bad, the chicken is quite good.
They serve baguette and home made pasta, a little bit overcooked.

The Atmosphere is awesome... It's hard to find out... But it's a gem... Pros : 1. Live music. 2. Ambience. 3. Food Quality.
Cons: 1. Late service (maybe because of the preparation of food). 2. Little expensive
Below are the list of mouthwatering dishes I had tried.
1. Lemon Nana : A refreshing lemon mint mocktail. It is very much refreshing. There are many mocktails but don't miss this one.
2. Quinch Lorraine: This is very soft. The crust is too good. Perfect as I wanted. The layer of chicken is soft and juicy.
3. Cold Coffee: Average like most of the cafe nothing awesome
4. Choco Mousse: It is a good dish. Good desert.
5. Cream Brulé: This is the one that I had come for. After several reviews this one I had tried it's just next level. The upper crust is like a burnt honey taste and the inside is fluffy sweet. Don't miss this desert at all.. I recommend everyone to try this and I bet you won't regret it.

A fine cafe on the Gokarna beach. I visited during the month of July which is off season and therefore it hardly had any crowd. The menu was also limited and therefore couldn't enjoy the real full menu. I ordered bbq pork ribs, which was cooked to perfection, flavoured perfectly and had a huge quantity too. Due to rains the whole view was blocked as the restaurant had to be covered with Tarpoline but otherwise I am sure the view is amazing as its right on the beach. One thing I real want to see them improve is the washrooms. The bathrooms were pathetic and is not at all maintained and poorly kept not wanting to even step in. Except for that everything else about the place is amazing. Their breads are all inhouse baked in their own clay ovens.
By the beach good food a bit pricy but the booze is good qty so it compensates. Try the Mediterranean sandwich was v good
This is the perfect place to relax by the beach side. Order food and watch the waves crashing on the beach. The perfect place for a leisurely time at Gokarna main beach.
The cafe is quite a distance from the main beach parking and the only recommended access is by walking through the beach. Google Maps shows a different route which I would not recommend during evening.
The food and service is commendable. Although some of the items from the menu were unavailable but whatever was available to order was really good. I requested them to add chicken to one of their veg sandwiches to which they readily agreed.
The coolest place in Gokarna. Food is delicious, the staff is very helpful and nice. At night the restaurant hosts concerts with amazing musicians. I had the best time there and recommend everyone to go there for breakfast (they make amazing croissants) lunch or dinner and drinks !
