This is such a great place in Gokarna to have a good authentic breakfast of Coastal Karnataka. Had really soft idly, crisp vada. Also tried their Banana buns which were the best. Must try them u will actually have authentic uttar kannada food. Mostly recommended.

A great place in Gokarna to have a good authentic breakfast of Coastal Karnataka. Had really soft idly, crisp vada. And did I mention that their Banana buns were heavenly and went very well with their spicy curry ? And their tea was very well prepared 😃

Nice restaurant. The food was good. We had ordered Idly, Masala Dosa, Buns, and Poori Bhaji. All tasted good. Liked the Bhaji a lot. It went well with all the dishes. Nice atmosphere. The restaurant was filled with the fragrance of the cooking of the dishes. It was crowded when we arrived, but then the crowd left. Usually busy during peak hours. Service was good and quick. It took around 2 to 5 minutes for the food to be served. Good experience.

I ordered a masala dosa and a coffee. Both were good and cheap. A really small restaurant, hardly 8 tables were there. I'm not sure why there are lot of reviews calling out the rude attitude of the owner, he was normal to me and just handed over the bill, nothing else.

Located conveniently at car Street close to the famous Mahabaleshwar temple in Gokarna, this basic restaurant makes for the perfect stop for quick breakfast or evening tiffin around your temple visits. The crispy thin dosas and delicious Mangalore buns are a must-try, while there are other vegetarian meals, snacks and beverages on offer too. You’ll also find the ubiquitous Hangyo ice creams of the region here. Economically priced, can get crowded during peak hours, festivals and weekends.

Amazing place to try food. 1. Masala Dosha - (3.5/5) Very crispy roasted layer of masala dosha with different potato stuff inside. It's really different from the other masala dosha. Chutney and sambhar that came along was nice. Sambhar especially was just awesome. It costs Rs 50. 2. Gobi Manchurian - (4/5) It costs Rs 120 and comes with a huge quantity enough to serve three people. It was just awesome. 3. Fried Rice - (4/5) It was awesome too. It costs Rs 80. 4. Shira - (5/5) It's a sweet dish which is available from early morning. Don't miss to try it from here. 5. Vada - (5/5) Very crispy and delicious. It costs Rs 40 for two vada and sambhar chutney. 6. Badam Milk - (2/5) It's not prepared here, just some company brand was given. So that was a complete mistake. It's not tasty. 7. Filter Coffee - (5/5) It makes your day. Just take off your day with a coffee. 8. Onion pakoda - (2/5) It was fine. The oil tasted very odd. It costs Rs 30. 9. Idli - (1/5) It tasted yuck. Not at all recommendable. Maybe they served the previous day's set of idlis. Too hard to chew. It costs Rs 50. 10. Pav bhaji - (4/5) Excellent bhaji served here. But sadly they use normal buns and not the pav that comes in this dish. 11. Lassi No idea of how lassi here is. Packed lassi is served here like badam milk. Very customer friendly staff and not so great ambience. But you will be satisfied with food here.

Loved the place, the food was so simple and tasty. It’s a must try place if you’re a foodie and want to try local food. We ordered Banana buns and in a stay of 7 days at Gokarna this was the best breakfast we had. However we didn’t had the lunch here but the vibe tells it would have been as good as breakfast. The chole aloo ki sabzi was as awesome as banana buns. You can try masala dosa and coffee as well.

This hotel is situated near the famous Mahabaleshwar Temple and is a good place to stop and have breakfast after visiting the temple for darshan. I had masala dosa and coffee here and both were really nice. The dosa had a good filling of aloo masala. The prices are also very reasonable. It cost me 70 bucks for masala dosa and special coffee. The place can be a little crowded though.
