I am in a constant quest for a good butter chicken. This one now comes into my favourites list. This chicken tikka butter chicken had about 5-6 pieces of succulent boneless chicken tikka in a perfectly cooked butter chicken gravy. The quantity of the gravy was enough because that’s my usual pain point. I like to finish my meal with rice and gravy! If you are anything like me, then the quantity of gravy will make you happy too. It was a sweet and tangy with the right spices but not too spicy. The naan was great but the whole wheat roomali roti was ah-mazing! The dal makhni had lots of makhan and was perfect too. A little less salt - but that is problem I like, because I can solve. It was perfectly packaged and the delivery seemed hygienic with proper seals and packs. It came with a side of lachcha onions, green chutney and some onions in yogurt which tasted yum! All in all a great remote dining experience. They served a good portion of every dish. Veg thali was great and delicious. Paneer tikka was bit hard but taste was good. Staff was very humble. Overall a soothing environment.

The Spice lab is a best place for spice lovers located in Gurgaon.. So i had ordered kukkad patialawala the spice lab, chicken Tandoori and Tandoori peri peri chicken.. The taste is really amazing.. The chicken marinate and cooked properly.. The quality and quantity of food is well maintained.. The delivery was quick.. food was very well packed, no leakage was there.. overall great service..

Then order your food from The spice lab . Recently I ordered my from zomato and to my surprise the good was hot till the time it got delivered . Even the packaging was done so well . I ordered dahi kabeb in starters . It was so tasty and the quaniy served was really well . For my main course I ordered murg dum biriyani and butter roti . The biriyani was so well balanced in spices and it was finger licking good . Apart from that I have even ordered gulab jamun . It was perfectly soft and super sweet
Overall I will rate this place 10/10

I ordered the Tandoori Peri peri chicken which was very flavour full and tasty although they did make it spicy which may kill the pallet for some people but for me the after taste was pretty tangy and left me wanting for more. Would definitely recommend people this if you're into spicy food.

I cant explain how awesome was my experience eating there. Each dish whether the ghost, butter chicken was flavor full with tender meat pcs.
Nothing great on mushrooms but definitely coming back.

to celebrate my hubby's birthday the food and service was awesome. Ambience was good. Special thanks to Mr.Sudeep who made our day special by arranging a small cake and candles for my hubby's birthday. A must go restaurant one should never miss. Hurray !

We ordered for boneless chicken and mutton biryani with bone that just mesmerized our senses and sent us on a trip. Fantasticaly flavored, subtle salan, complimenting raita and just to spice things up, the green electric chutney. I have had biryani from chefs across the city and this happens to be one of the top contenders. Juicy pieces, perfectly cooked, more than adequate quantity of rice and a lip smacking mutton gravy to complete the riot of flavors. A highly recommended place.

Amazing food! Pet bharke ache se khana ho to must try h ye place! Good if you love Indian flavors and want to try some new and different place! Though small but the service is good! We tried their stuffed naan with kadhai paneer and veg kebab platter! All were good!
Went here for dinner with family recently, we ordered paneer butter masala, dal spice lab and mixed veg. I must say I've never tasted better paneer butter masala anywhere, and the rest of the items were also outstanding.
The owner is very courteous and was absolutely successful in his recommendations for the dishes we ordered.
I will surely visit this place again. 👍

OMG I've been eating at The Spice Lab for more than 3 years now. Yes, I too faced issues especially with their delivery. Overtime the taste & flavour of their dishes have grown on me.

Revising my rating to 1.5 now. 4 hungry souls called up our favourite joint - The Spice Lab - for home delivery. Order was the usual Butter chicken, Dal Makhani & we wanted to try their Chicken Biryani. They've never let me down in terms of taste & quality. Infact, their name is synonymous with my craving for tandoori kebabs, North Indian gravies & awesome rotis. However, yesterday's experience was pathetic rather I would say my Sunday's dinner plans went for a toss.
To start with, despite requesting for extra chutney & onion, they sent a small cup to feed 4 people. This happened for the 3rd time! Though we managed to get half a teaspoon each of the green chutney. :) Without this heavenly accompaniment, you cannot really enjoy North Indian food.
Moving on, my favourite Dal Makhani was next. Well, it turned out be bland & coarse. Certainly not the way Spice Lab used to make. That velvety texture was missing! Butter Chicken gravy turned out be spicy. I can forget the above two points, but this is not an excuse. I mean come on, that's butter chicken not chicken masala! Let's leave the biryani aside for the time being.
I agree that every restaurant has their bad days. But this happened to me for the second time. This time "Paisa Vasool Nahi Hue" This was a good place to have North Indian food. I'm skeptical about ordering or dining in here in future as they don't value their customers preferences. Thanks anyways for being a partner in this short but delicious journey.

Being one of your regular customer & a loyal fan, today's experience was not upto the mark.
Malai tikka without any malai. Pls. go back to your original recipe. I'm not on a diet! Also, that lovely aroma was missing.
Do Nalli Kebab was only mutton & trust me on this. Chicken was missing & it tasted average. ?
I conveyed the same to this fat guy who was managing your place & he said let me call the chef. Could've managed the situation better.
Highlight of today's meal was Amritsari Kulcha & Butter Chicken. Perfect!
I swear by your food dude but such experiences hurt. Pls. try & stick to your original quality & taste.
Not just the food but the hospitality of this place is unmatched. Kudos to Yubraj and the whole management of The Spice Lab whose thoughtfulness towards their customers is worth saluting. It's a perfect example of a restaurant whose focus is not just great food but and a great experience too. I love their Tandoori Chicken though and haven't got that taste in any of the restaurants in Gurgaon. Love this place.
So, I ordered the food last night. After over an hour tried calling the restaurant to check for the status. No response from the other side.
Next step, wrote to Zomato Chat about the issue. Not response. By the time it was late and hence had to settle for another food options.
Today, when I logged in Zomato to check upon of the order was canceled and maybe some reasons to why it couldn't be delivered. To my shock I see, the Zomato chat agent say.. Your order had been delivered and enjoy your meal.
So, obviously I feel cheated.
Issues from both sides... Restaurant and Zomato. Pathetic services.

I have frequented Spice Lab for my stay of a month in Gurgaon. The food is always good quality, the staff always friendly and helpful and everything is priced very well. My go to was the non-veg thali. Can't go wrong.
Recently visited this place. The experience was good. I think they can improve themselves in terms of services. Staff was quite friendly, really love this fact about them. The quantity as well as tge quality of food was good too.

Amazing food, I have visited twice and had the same Maharaja kabab Platter, however they have good choice of food. My family enjoyed a lot . Nice ambience with good service. Overall a highly recommended place.
This was my first time order with them and have no regrets, except the pricing which is quite high. Other wise the Biryani was awesome as were the salan and raita.

Been there 3-4 times. Nice food, freshly made gravies. That's why they take at lease 30mins to prepare the food. But once you eat it, you love it.
A good looking, small eatery in Baani Square. After reading good reviews we decided to give it a try. Ordered Mutton Biryani and Shaami Kebabs. Biryani was good, not outstanding. Shaami Kebabs were not prepared the way it should be. Overall good and a low cost option for people living around baani square.

A perfect foodie's haven if your idea of a desi dinner is an endless array of delectable kebabs and snacks. One star taken away for the main course dishes, which were a bit of a disappointment. Don't go for the regulars. This drops the hint to their mouthwatering kebabs and snacks. Most of them were great: 9/10. A must try, the top of my list is Bhutte ke Kabab. A bit on the spicier side & that's how I like it. If you dread the spice monster, then go for their Malai Chap, though my preferred one was their spicy version, just forgot the name. Galouti kabas are to die for or to live for, whatever way you take it, you would love them even on a full stomach. The Dahi ke kababs were Ok, too much bread tasted more like 'dahi bread roll' than 'kebab', need work on that.
We always head to Spice Lab whenever we want to have a 'kebabs & snacks' dinner or lunch.
PS: A bit crunched up space, not a sprawling fine dining place, but the delicious food makes up for that. They have a modest outdoor seating also, in case you want to enjoy the weather.

We had Mutton Seekh kebab, Gosht dum biryani and Mutton curry with Malabari parantha .
The biryani was delicious and quantity was adequate. Kebab was also delicious and nicely prepared. Love the way they use balanced spices. Gravy of curry was lip smacking lil bit spicy.

Actually nice food. Also have great varieties in veg and non-veg in the menu. Quick delivery service. Quality is also nice and worth to try. Tried Dahi kebabs, Chicken Tikka, Mutton Barra, Dahi Kebabs. Kebabs and Tikka were awesome, the best. Quantity is sufficient for two of us.

It's my kind of place where the food is tremendous. Mutton Shammi Kebab and Murg Tikka masala both were exceptional. And served in proper packaging and delivered timely. The main thing I like about the food is its quality and preparation. And the portion size was decent too.
Awesome place to satisfy your cravings for north Indian food, located in Baani square, Sec 50. The place has outdoor seating facility. The food was great and fresh. The dishes I tried:
Tandoori Murg; smoky and tasty, Afghani Murg and Murg Curry both were outstanding Recommendations: Tandoori and afghani murg.
We ordered Dahi ke sholey which was crisp and flavorful . Our drinks were all different and I must say my lemonade was the best . It had fresh pudina which I love .
Then of course the dal makkini which was why we chose this place . The mix veg was superbly blended with spicies which did not make it too hot and yet we preferred it to the panner methi . The parathas were soft and well made . The butter Nan was good too .
The dal was excellent ,
I must say their food was low on oil which is what people like now days and ghar jesa khana .
Another matter that at home we want resturant jesa khana :)
Quantity was enough for another two of us .
The service and ambience of this place was good . Except that as we were in the open space , flies refused to leave our table . But the weather made it perfect for a out door lunch .
