The nearest metro station on yellow line is Iffco Chowk. And you need to take an auto from there.
Coming to the ambiance, it's absolutely enthralling with an amazing crowd.
The food is also good. Everything comes with a slight twist which I really appreciate. It's something different and worth trying.

Friction is one of my favourite places in 29 for beer and good food, love the ambience and the bar with lively music and good food. In friction, pesto Vegetable pizza and spinach and corn dimsum is a must try.

Interiors are done very beautiful, specially love seating comfort of this place, one thing which I love the most about this place is their staff, staff is well trained and knows how to assist you properly.
Let's talk about food, food is way too delicious here, if you are non vegetarian would recommend you guys to try their butter chicken sliders & chicken biryani for sure & if you are veg you must try their soya chaap.
Overall this place is perfect if you are looking for place to chill around with your friends with couple of glasses fresh beer ! :D
I go there to celebrate birthday of my frnd it was such a nice place with good ambience.service is also very good.i tried mix sauce pasta,veg Hakka noodles, loaded nachos and in drinks I tried mocktails Cinderella and red hot lips.Taste of every thing was amazing but I am not satisfied with loaded nachos.prices are not every high. Friction. The must go cafe in the town. So I would suggest you to go and grab some tasty food there there foods and delivery timing are so good and the staff behavior as well I have seen yet in my life.The have numbers of tasty drinks in their menu. Lovely lunch at friction the drinkery.The food was fresh, properly prepared and great value for the price.We specially enjoyed the special drinks like virgin mojito and lemon drinks accompanied with starters like crispy fried American corn, paan flavoured dahi kabab and main course like grilled chicken breast and mutton Rogan Josh platter.The dessert choco chip fudge brownie was awesome.The restaurant area and lobby were nice and open, good place to relax.The reception and all service staff were very helpful and cordial.
One of my friend suggested to visit this outlet for relaxing on weekend with amazing drinks.Recently I got the chance to visit here with three of my other friends, and my experience was pleasant. There were lots of item in the menu. Staff was polite and they suggested us to order their speciality. My favourite drinks were cosmopolitan and sex on the beach.
We ordered butter chicken pizza, fried American corn and paan flavoured Dahi Kebab.
Pizza was cheesy and tasty.Corn were crispy and was best accompanied by the cocktails.

Me and my friends deicided to visit this place for lunch.
At first I ordered one of my favourite drink, old fashioned along with chicken mexican tacos.
Then I ordered crispy fried American corn Service which tasted amazing with LIIT.
In main course we ordered Shahi Paneer Platter and Mutton Rogan Josh Platter.
There were a lots of chunks of Paneer and the gravy was good too.
The food was properly made with apt amount of spices and quantity was worth the price.
The staff was polite and service was prompt.
We really enjoyed our time at this outlet and will suggest my friends too to visit it once for a quality experience.

The place was rocking even on a weekday. The rooftop is really beautiful with white curtains. Loved the tracks played by dj.

On a Friday night, if you get a table as per your liking, count it as a blessing. Nice decor, amazing DJ, good food and sports fan ,they got you covered, thanks to their big screens. Only thing that their outside sitting would make you confuse the music from other places.

The roof top is a great place to sip your cocktail under the stars, the music and ambience were just perfect. I would recommend chicken tacos, chilly chicken, dahi ke kabab and the non veg platter for starters. The service was professional and they also live stream matches on the roof top. We had rogan josh with butter naan in main course. Overall a great experience and i would highly recommend this place if you are in gurugram.
This is the place to be if you are looking for some really LIT party scenes in sector 29 Gurgaon. The staff was really customer friendly, seating area was just awesome (across all the three floors), the deals offered by the manager here are just incomparable and to add to this the DJ here is quite good.

Yesterday i was in sector 29 gurugram & decided to have dinner.
We went to friction the drinkery for our dinner where we had different mocktails, cocktails to start with.
After in starters and mains we tried so many things like paneer tikka, chicken tikka pizza, dahi kebab, butter chicken, chicken mexican tacos etc with breads.
The food was good enough to taste and staff was so attentive to take orders.
We also had brownies with ice creams

Then In Starters We Had : Paan Flavoured Dahi Kebabs, Creamy Broccoli, Duo Paneer Tikka, Peri Peri Chicken Tikka Pizza, Butter Chicken Sliders. All Were Presented Very Well & Delicious In Taste + Plus The Quantity Of Each Dish Was Fab. I Totally Recommended This To All.

Veg Biryani With Raita, Paneer Lababdae, Kadai Murg & Butter Chicken With Assorted Breads. All Were Very Perfectly Cooked, Creamy, Very Different In Taste & Served Hot N Fresh. Must Try, Recommended For All.

The place has an amazing vibe to it and the food is worth the price enough.

After a very long when to Gurgaon for a brunch, totally fell in love with the ambience at brunch time, they have Sunday buffet for noon and love the fact that they had a open terrace.
We tried quite a different Things from their menu, What we loved the most were veg and non veg starters- chicken shawarma, chilly chaap tikka, paneer two way platter and fish tikka were few that you should try too .😍.
The ambience on Sunday was lively and the staff were professional and quick.

It's a decent place to go to when in the mood of some crazy and carefree dancing as the crowd compliments the vibe. The food is ok, not very impressed with it. Plus, the service tends to get really slow at times.

We started with their Signature Mocktails like Friction Shikanji & Baba Mast Hai. Quite refreshing but on a personal note Baba Mast hai wins the race & its a must try if you love mocktails & you are a non drinker.
Wanted to splurge on the Snacks & we ordered our All tome favourite Crispy Corn, Paneer Tikka & Soya chaap. Quantity & Quality both were well taken care of & brought to us well garnished and hygienic Plating.
We always get filled up with the starters but yeah, how can we miss the maincourse when the Starters were so delicious. So we Ordered Veg Biryani with Raita & Shahi Paneer Platter with Butter Rotis.
Its was a heavenly experience having Punjabi platter as a main course & was so enjoyable.
And now is the turn for the Desserts for which we always have a lil space left no matter what.
We Had the Friction Sundaes which was Vanilla Icecream with Colorful Cherries garnished above the Icecream which made it very appealing & tasty too.
Service was surely very Fast, like we got all the Food within 15 mins without any delay.
Have alot more to try from this place which we are surely gonna try in the near future.

Friction the drinkery is locates at the heart of Sec 29 market. It has a beautiful entrance and the place is so lively. You will find crowd most of the times and the music just lets you groove and relax. There is plenty of indoor as well as outdoor seating whatever one wishes to choose, the playlist is interesting & the interiors are well done ideal to get some really good photos clicked.They hav outdoor seating as well.

Kashund fish tikka - this was presented on a mini staircase and the way it was presented it just took my heart. I loved it and the fish was yumm.
Chicken shawarma skewers and Kung pao chicken then in main course we had butter chicken and mutton rogan josh platter..everything was super delicious. The place offers outdoor seating as well and indoor with lighting making the indoor part really beautiful and glow up even during the day time, as I visited the place during the day stayed till dawn.

Might be the afternoon, or might be the lack of staff, the service here was a bit slow, but yes, without a doubt they were really humble and courteous the whole time.

THIS IS THE PART I want to share - DO TRY their LIIT- the best LIIT i have had in Sec 29, just ask them to make it a bit strong, and you'll see rainbows after 2nd one :D :D. On the other hand the Mojito and Whiskey sour were good to, but after LIIT , i wish to visit them again for sure!

This Drinkery surely is amazing and one of the best places in Sector 29, Gurgaon. The interiors - including the sittings and the lightings are lit and surely the ambience is top notch. The place is pretty spacious with first N second floor and also on in open air Alfresco style seating. So, there is something for everybody. If you are indoorsy you can go and if you prefer outdoor seating then also you can go! They have plush sink in kinda sofas in lounge seating and also comfy chairs and tables if you are in the mood for it. Music is nice too, not glaring or tacky but it just accentuates the mood depending on the time and gathering so the DJ knows his job. That's the scene in noon if you go for a brunch. They have a plethora of options to drink in terms of cocktails and beers. The mixologist kind of does a good job. The Mocktails are also interesting. But to be frank they need to be fine-tuned still to give that touch of perfection which is yet to be honed. Hope they will raise the bar here too soon! They have some good beer collection too with BEERA leading the pack
I would like to add that they know their Cuisines well, their food curation skills good and they touch your taste buds in an unassuming yet reassuring way!

After hearing alot about this place i finally visited it yesterday and had an excellent experience. I was spellbound by the interiors and vibe here. Decor and seating too is super comfortable. Service was good and staff was courteous. Taste of the almost all the dishes I ordered was outstanding, also the presentation is too good. Quantity was however a bit less but the quality of food being served is really good. Out the dishes i tried I'd highly recommend:

The options here are different and unique and is a must try if you are looking for a place to hangout with its outdoor sitting making a beautiful view to enjoy your day!
The best thing about this place are their wide range of starters!
So we visited here recently and ordered corn and spinach quesadillas , Creamy broccoli and in drinks V MOjito !
The starters tasted really good and above my expectations!
I would highly recommend corn and spinach quesadillas if you are looking for a healthy option too!

Friction The Drinkery is a very unusual name. They are kind of small in a corner in sector 29 Gurgaon spread on two floors. The first one is more for parties or groups having a cool seating and easy atmosphere. First floor offers indoor as well as outdoor seating. If the cleanliness of toilets is one of the ranking of overall hygiene factors of a restaurant, it will be rated as one of the top most restaurants in that order! Decibel levels of music depends on the parties and the groups present in the first floor. It can be quite & low or it could be too noisy. Food curation is good and so is the service
Starters are interesting & Delicious. Some are really unique. The good thing is the main course gives you light on tummy options. Light and very tasty & ofcourse fulfilling with good portions
We relished some Mojitos, Iced Tea, and smoothies. Summer Hummer and Lemon Iced Tea stand out from rest. For fingerfood we had Dahi Ke Kebab, Kasundhi Fish, Aloo Tikki, Dal Makhani Arancini, and Butter Chicken Sliders. Dahi Ke Kebab and Royal Aloo Tikki were too good. Dal Makhani Arancini and Kasundi Fish were also upto the mark. Curation of all finger foods is excellent.
For main course, we had Paneer Platter with Indian Bread of your choice. That's a damn good combo! We also had Spaghetti Aglio Olio which was quiet tasty. We signed off with Apple Cinnamon Cigars and Chocolate Waffles. It was an all round nice evening

Friction gives you the right Traction 😎
Friction is a proper definition of what leisurely dining should be! They were earlier situated on the periphery of Sector 29 near Power Grid office, just ahead of IFFCO Chowk Metro but they have now moved inland within Leisure Island Space which is nice to note! Their GPS co ordinates still show them to be located near IFFCO Chowk Metro which can at times be confusing! Hope they rectify that fast! That aside, you feel the vibes the moment you enter the place on first floor adjacent to Sasural Restaurant. They are spacious, spread over 2 floors with around 5K+ square feet of space. Plush and comfy seating, separate smoking area, nicely done indoor, outdoor seating, terrace area with Alfresco touch complete the décor 😊
They have some pretty good cocktails which are lip-smacking and also a variety of tasty mocktails, beers and other beverages to make the list complete and impressive. The mixologist does his tricks in fixing you the perfect poison and the AlcoBevs do impress you to say the least without an iota of doubt to be frank 😉
Their music selection is also pretty in tune with the time and they have a good classic collection which makes sure your foot taps while its not a head bangers balls while you are at it which is a rarity and a succinct yet important point to take not of. That makes sure you don’t have to yell at the ears of others to make yourself heard while the music is on. Got the picture now? 😃
Now lets move on to the grub. Their food is an eclectic mix of tasty paraphernalia in Continental, Italian, Thai, Chinese, Desi North cuisine, Fast food, street food with hatke Mexican touch and twist, and of course the quintessential salads & Pizzas which make the list complete! Their finger foods in starters section are ultimate!! To top it the staff are also alert and attentive which is a plus. They keep an eye on your table to get you the replenishment, the moment you are nearing to the last morsel! We were served by Mohit who was attention personified and kept tabs on us always 😲
Friction has fast become a name to reckon with in Sector 29 and they know their game well. Their food curation is pretty awesome and attention to even small details makes a visit to this place worth its while with family or friends to let your hair down and indulge in brunch or dinner. Found this place in the market that I hadn’t tried before and went on to explore the insides. One glance of the ambience was enough to find the perfect seating and decide that it would be perfect for the evening.
Let me just start with the two dishes that were dish of the day and are to this day stuck in my head. Would probably visit again just to have these two - Khurchan paneer tacos and Margherita kulcha. Paneer tacos had filling that tasted delicious even if it was falling all over the place!
Kulchas were next level with italian filling. These two dishes are a must.
We also ordered Butter Chicken Sliders which came with coloured buns and were filled with butter chicken. This was something new for me and definitely worth trying.
I loved one of their mocktails which was delicious - ‘Baba mast hai’ (aptly named!)
For the main course, we thought of trying their Tarkari veg dum biryani. This Biryani platter came with Raita, papad and chutney along with Veg biryani. This neatly presented biryani could easily compete with any of the best Biryani places in town! It was good to see that they paid attention to every dish on the menu and not just those which are regularly ordered.
This place offers a comfortable dining experience with some appetizing dishes. Definitely falls on top of the list of best places in the area.
Had an office party organised here and Friction The Drinkery were upto the mark. Food drinks were superb and though they have good Dj but the live band show on their terrace is an icing over the cake
Nice place to hangout with friends and the best part is you'll find good music collection by dj in sector 29 not as regular songs and food is good

I love friction for its food quality and the Ambience. Food like butter chicken slider, grilled chicken breast, chicken salt and pepper etc all are just delecious. Crisp corn is also a very good option in the vegetarian section. In drinks I had the red hot lips, friction shikangi and a Orange drunk which was just perfect

Sector 29 in Gurgaon is known for its breweries and year on year it keeps on dishing out new ones with some surviving the competition and rest just closing down with a short span of time. One of the new entrants to open this year was Friction – The Drinkery which shifted from a different location to Sector 29.
Friction spans across two floors with a beautiful terrace seating. The lower floor area has a very chic bar, a permanent DJ console and variety of seating options including a balcony seating but most of the tables are high tables and the ones which have sofas, as way too low. It difficult to find a table with a normal height and most of the people who were there when we visited opted for the high tables.
We started our lunch with “Pan Flavoured Dahi Kebab” which were presented beautifully and had a very subtle flavour of pan to distinguish them from the usual dahi kebabs. Though the kebabs were great, a little stronger flavour of pan would have made them a lot more likeable and separate them out from the usual ones. Next we ordered their “Khurchan Paneer Tacos” which were obviously difficult to eat as most soft tacos are, but had an amazing filling of khurchan paneer. The filling was so good that they could easily turn it into an individual dish of its own. The tacos were topped with some foam for presentation sake which would make you cough if you don’t remove it before taking a bite. The “Margherita Kulcha” was again presented in a very nice way and the Italian pizza like filling in the soft kulchas was simply amazing.
For the main course we ordered a “Veg Biryani” which was served along with a mix vegetable raita. The biryani had a nice dum flavour to it and there were plenty of veggies and cottage cheese to keep you interested in the biryani. I would have loved it even more if the biryani would have been served in an earthen bowl.
Their mocktails were not too special and ones we tried namely the “Friction Shikanji”, “Baba Mast Hai” & “Virgin Mojito” were all somewhat only good to accompany the meal but not something which deserves a special mention.
The service was pretty good. The steward knew the menu properly and we didn’t find it difficult to place our order. Though the service time was a bit high and can be reduced a bit for better experience.
Overall, Friction came across a great option for us since we were just looking for a casual place to chill and with the kind of food options they had on their menu, it turned out pretty good. With plenty of options around in Sector 29, this place might not come out as the best, but doesn’t fall far from it too.
I was here with my friend few days back on a Sunday Eve. The place was partially full and as the evening was growing the place become more happening.
We had some light snacks and few drinks as we were in hurry to catch the flight. We had Duo Paneer tikka, friction shikanji , mojito , khichadi arancini. The food was ok and the drinks were better then the food.
The staff was courteous and we had a good time sipping our drink and relaxing ourselves while munching a bit.
I went to this cafe with my friend relaxing on weekends , my friends told me about this cafe many times .
I just tried some of the items like
American fried crispy corns,
Paneer tikka
In drinks i ordered sex on the beach and whisky sour.
And in desert i ordered vanilla icecream.
Overall it was good experience with this place , i will love to come back.

Well recently i was in gurgaon to meet a friend of mine , So we decided to visit sector 29 which is great hub to party with friends . When we entered sec 29 we saw there are plenty of options of go with . So after a long discussion me an my friend we decided to try out Friction .
So now if i have to talk about Friction its a huge place with beautiful decor an interiors , Seating was also very comfortable , we were welcomed with a smile .
After i got there menu it was a huge menu to offer from veg an Non-veg starters , Main-course as well .
Beverage .
1.So as it was a day time so me an my friend we both ordered normal pints of chilled beer an it was a relief for a warm afternoon .
So we also ordered some starters from the menu like .
1.Baked chicken nachos - Well i am a big fan of nachos an these were perfectly baked nachos with juicy chicken chunks , Melting cheese served along with salsa and tartar sauce i simply loved it .
2.Fish well its a perfect spicy dish loaded with juicy fish pieces and lots of veggies and onions well i seriously forgot the name of the dish but it was simply amazing in taste .
3.We also ordered lamb chops from the menu which were perfectly marinated with amazing spices and tasted served along with grilled vegetables and a a bit spicy and buttery gravy which was really good in taste .Loved it .
After eating all this scrumptious food we also ordered some dessert from the menu so we ordered was -
1.Gulab jamun cheese cake -well as the name itself says its a perfectly made cheese cake with infusion of gulab jamun and it tasted simply amazing an i loved it thoroughly.
At the end i would like to thank team Friction of such a good and warm hospitality really had a good time , i will surely visit this place soon with friends and family . Thank You Once Again .
This weekend I went to sector 29 and bumped upon this place because of its loud music. decided to give it a try then. when in sector 29 you can also visit once.

Excellent place in the heart of sector 29 Gurgaon market. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting area with choice of Lush Sofas to high chairs. Bar is the highlight with a choice of cocktails and mocktails. Food is excellent. We tried starters as well as main course items. Staff is helpful and positive. Music is great for dancing and happy time.

This is certainly a nice place to socialize and lives up to its name. We enjoyed Kababs, Soup, and Corn Salad, which was nicely cooked and delicious. The cocktails were great too with perfect presentation. It was a great place with good & fast service.
Loved the ambiance totally, food is very delicious and tasty , good music and the vibe is really amazing. I totally enjoyed there with my friends. And I recommend to go there with your friends.
Very nice place for party people.. Cocktails here are really amazing. Overall i liked this place. The food also was nice. And if you donot like loud music, then you should avoid going in night🙊
