Awesome India food and nice open ambience! Love the place has open terrace feel with outdoor music and bar. Food price is also very reasonable
Been there yesterday...lovely ambience...the food was excellent. ..as it was the start of the navratri i ordered some veg food...the food tasted great...the service was very fast and the servers are always around with a smile on their face...the place has a lovely terrace area with bean bags and nice soothing music...a place you really wanna give a try
Heard a lot about this place from my friends, finally today got a chance to checkout.
Food was delicious with nice presentation, staff is very helpful. Ambience is great for evening hangout coz of open terrace. Price is also affordable. Overall it was really very nice experience. Keep it up guys Cheers (y)
We visited this place yesterday...and i would love to visit the place again. Mr. kishan and Mr. Khan were really welcoming. Try the afghani dishes here...Mr. Khan would guide you through the menu. The food was tasty and was presented really well. Would recommend this place to family and friends.
murag spicy tikka hmmmmmm.yumm yum presentation and preparation both were fabbbbbbbbbbb. stafff was too good in speaking and highly quilificated.
The owner is always here as what seems to me. we ordered the first chicken dish and rice we saw on the menu because we were that hungry and not disappointed at all. the Chicken was so tender and tasty. yummmmm
Not many restaurants can make a perfect Falafel, like the FoA does. A decent place with good starters. They have good deals for corporates too. Overall a nice place to try arabic cuisine.
What a wonderful combination of Good Food and service!!! new addition in their food and drinks menu is just kicka*s!!! Go try at earliest!!!
The place came as a pleasant surprise. Authentic Arabic flavor with innovations was refreshing.
Staff & service is good.
After a great Arabic dishes, suddenly thought of trying Mutton Roghan Josh & was taken back as it was equally tasteful.
Has a well stocked bar.
Terrace is well maintained & can be used to host a small party including one room with casual sittings
A must try out place with very moderate pricing.
Foa
This is a very good and the best place to eat arbian food in the town. It is really delicious and flavourful.
I highly recommend this restaurant for the people who are looking for arbian food
Go ahead
It's great presentation, dishes are fantastic and true to its cuisine with a large variety to choose from the menu....great outdoor seating and sometimes they have good music

Recently, when I was in Gurgaon, I walked into Flavours of Arabia with my colleagues and boss and received a warm and personalized welcome from the Manager there. The decor justified the name which has a Middle Eastern feel and the tidbits were awesome as there were several varieties. Falafel, dajaj Faham, Sheesh Tawouk, chicken pepper salt, Kaichi Charmoulali are some of the starters and kebabs we ordered and they did not disappoint us as they were really delicious. Among mock-tails we ordered Fruit punch and Blackrose.
Located on the 3rd floor of the ninex city mart on main sohna road.
The restaurant has been indoor n terrace seating and also gives a option of having pdr for the groups
Have been regular to this place for long and can say they have been consistent in food quality and service
Recommended food items i have always relished is sheesh tok... gilafi seekh and mutton roganjosh. Conti items is something i prefer to skip but they r pretty good in indian food n mezzes
Overall a outlet for small evening snacks or sit down with friends
Its a decent place been there at my friends birthday party the food was okay, nothing special, its a decent place if you just want to eat out with someone nothing so special. But not so bad too.
Had gone to this place on it's opening day. They have amazing Arabian cuisine. Could use a little more lighting. Lovely ambience. Amazing food. Outdoor sitting is amazing during winters. Must try!
Amazing place new ambience amazing should visit for there new progressive food menu and wonderful experience.................................
One of a hidden gem of a place at Ninex mall on Sohna road. the place has got nice ample seating space well segmented into indoor as well as outdoor seating. They have also got an open terrace area as their dance floor.
I was there with a few friends of mine for a party. We got seated on the terrace area which has a nice canopy area as seating. We were 15-16 people and we got comfortably seated.
We started with some shakes and coolers which were nice. A few of us had whisky and beers. We were served peanuts and a few more things along with the drinks.
The food was good could have been a bit better. Chilly chciken gravy and butter chicken had nice juicy pieces which were perfectly cooked. The yellow daal was great, dal makhani was average. The breads were fresh and served properly. The hummus pita was again average. Falafel was good at taste but slightly harder in nature. But the taste was authentic.
The quantity served was less as per the pricing offered for most of the dishes.
The day we were there, it started raining in the mid and the canopy was leaking at few areas...that they should definitely take care. The staffs were courteous. We danced a lot and enjoyed.
Suggestion for them are -- the service was a bit slow and a few things in the food section can be taken care of.
Setauated in Ninex, a not so happening mall on Sohna Road these guys need to advertise and market this place a bit more. The menu is great with all the Arabic dishes (you have to know them) present in it. Being a die hard fan of Arabic food, I feel these guys have done a fairly good job. Though the hammus can be improved a bit. Salads are fine given the quality/ variety of leaves available.
A great family sit-out and possibly the best in Gurgaon for everyday Arabic meals. They offer a variety of Arabian delights for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians. Salads are all well made and in good portions.
If you love salads, try their "Foa Mezeh Sahan", that's a delightful combo of salads, dips and breads. 2 platters are good for 3 people.
I have tried Fattoush, Tabuleh and Caeser salads and found them all very good. Their Falafel, Hummus and Babaghanoush is very nice too. I also love their "Grilled Vegetable Tower". One serving is good enough for a meal. Their "Karna Beet" is also well made.
My non-vegetarian husband loves their "Banana Leaf Chicken" and practically eats it everytime we go there (and we go there often).
Their serving can be somewhat slow and waiters do get mixed up between various orders. Best is to reiterate your order slowly and ensure the waiter has understood.
Ambience is good for family seating. They also have a small terrace which has a bar counter on the side. Great for sitting out in evenings when weather permits. Else sit inside and enjoy the Arabian delights in the middle of Jat land.
WT20: We went there on the day of IND vs WI match. Never heard about this place from anyone but because other places were full so it was by force to choose this place being near to office. They were running special offer on beer and snack @99 and to start with we decided to try these 99 rs snacks and they were nice... and then we started ordering all the drinks and different snacks and other than bit slow service which was also due to rush. Overall it was great experience at an unknown place.
Owner and Manager take special care of all guests personally. Good work keep it up :-)
We were just passing from the area and searching for a good eating joint and when a friend along mentioned about this one, I thought of trying this one for a change. The hummus and the Falafel were something I tried here for the first time and really found them nice. The Fried Honey Chicken was just okay though. The ambience and the service was just okay. There were options for the drinks also and we had corona beer along which was really nice. However said all this, I would say that the prices of everything were a bit more especially for the food.
Technically Good food. Service is quite personalised, specially when you are a frequent visitor :)
Chef Balwant rocks for the amazing talent he has, full marks for the breads he bakes !!
The open and indoor seating give you a variety to enjoy with an open bar on terrace !!
Worth a visit !!
A not so crowded restaurant in a not so crowded mall.I have not heard very good reviews about this place but since i love trying out new decided to visit this place and celebrate my friend's birthday. Got a real nice welcome from the staff.Being hard core non vegetarian i really liked the food and variety they serve, found it a bit overpriced though.Buffet would have been a better option.
After passing by this place everyday for the last three months (mostly in a hurry for office or from office), I finally tasted their food.
We ordered North Indian Vegetarian food and so my rating and review will be based upon them.
These guys have amazing combo offers that becomes very economical when in a group. We had 3 combos and in each of them, there was Mixed Veg, Dal Makhani, Paneer something (I do not remember clearly), Tandoori Roti/Butter Naan and Jeera Rice. Oh and also Ice-Cream! :D
I do not remember the last time that I had a naan so soft and well cooked! I was very very impressed! The dal was magnificent and the other items were also very tasty. And all of them had their own distinct flavor.
The staff were very courteous. Service was a little delayed but taking into consideration the quality of food, that can be forgiven. ;)
The ambiance was really nice. I went in for Lunch and so could not enjoy their seating area out in the open but I'm sure that would be a lovely experience!
I have heard from other people that their Lebanese food items are equally good and am looking forward to try them some time soon.
very very nice restaurant,i placed my order at 9:50pm,and it only takes 40mins delivered to my home, very fast. the food is also taste good,i love it
a gem right on Sohna road... a restaurant with adequate seating capacity inside coupled with an outside open area which in a pleasant weather is a great place to relax. View of the Gurgaon skyline is an icing on the cake. Besides that has a small party hall wherein I hosted a small get together for 25 friends . Amazing service , courteous staff and great look and feel of the place. Surely picked up as a place which would be revisited by many of my friends and surely a repeat for me !
Ambience of place is amazing, low lights offering perfect atmosphere for drink and dinner. Quality of food is good. A good place to hangout.
Great food and quantity. Had ordered lunch for a get together. As don't have much idea about the Arabic Cuisine, had asked Debashish at FOA to suggest veg and non- veg. The quantity and variety , they sent were great. Had also asked something Mughlai (veg) , though was not too sure while ordering Indian. So we got Paneer Lababdar. Belive me it was one of the best paneer. I have had in gurgaon. Strongly recommend FOA for a delicious taste.
On d Independence day we planned to throw a party for our friends at home our requirement was to have a menu and service which was not run of the mill type. We asked Devashish from FOA if he could cater and may be do a menu and party the way he would like to throw for his friends. That day was rainy and at a point we were worried if everything will go as planned. However FOA pulled it very well and that too just in time. Our guests had a wonderful time. Good was a nice balance if Mediterranean and few Indian dishes. The service and the music was excellent. Thumbs up to FOA I Strongly recommend...full marks

Have been here a couple of times now because I love their Arabic food. Hosted my kids birthday party at Flavours of Arabia last week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Rates are sensible, for kids and adults, considering kids are more interested in playing than the food. Quality of food is good. Service is wonderful. Party hall is just perfect with the adjoining terrace bar for adults!
Three cheers to FOA!
Must visit for Arabian food lovers. This place has indoor as well as outdoor seating. Good place for large parties. Food is good, flavours are accurate bur serving size is a bit small for two. Friendly staff and the best part is they have meal deals with unlimited alcohol.
Awesome place to eat some good Arabic and Lebanese food and drinks. But, what I really love is their delivery service and the price. Go for it!!
Good cozy place good menu and good service, what else you want while eating out. Sumit is always ready to listen and do as per your need. We recently celebrated our sons birthday after tasting the food etc and we ate happy to have found a good joint.
A nice cozy place to be in…though i have not heard very good reviews about this place from my friends but since we were in a hurry and were too lazy to order therefore we went for their buffet. Being vegetarian i really liked the food and variety they serve at a unbelievable price and good options to choose from right from starters to main course and desserts. Try out for lunch as thy not very crowded too
If any place has managed to make me gasp at how stupid I have been in not discovering places right under my nose it's been this gem. The mezze platter, clear soup, grilled fish with beetroot rice, you gotta be kidding me if you're not salivating yet. Their service was impeccable and so was the food. Hummus, baba ganoush and the breads smelled of newness and the seduction only a true foodie will experience if he succumbs to it.
If you live in an around Sohna, do yourself a favour.
Firstly likes:
I cannot believe a place to be situated in hot region and yet being very calm on inside. Bingo! Liked it as noise level was minimalist. Perfect place to have good food and enjoy conversation at the same time.
Food: Kadhai paneer & Chicken, naan, laccha parantha.
Okayish food. Cudnt differentiate from others. But nothing to complain about either.
Overall, I will recommend this place. Try out Arabian dishes.
If you have a thing for Arabic cuisine, you must visit this place without any second thoughts. Hummus and falafels are great, perfectly flavored hummus and yummy falafels will not disappoint you. Biryani and Phoenecian fries are very average dishes. Zitters chicken and banana leaf stuffed chicken are amazing. Must visit!
Probably the first genuine arabic restaurant in gurgaon..been to restuarant couple of times
First time i tried hummus pita ,falafel , sheesh kebab chicken ,chilly chicken in starters..chicken shwarma, murg makhani
Starters were very nice and so course main course ..service was excellent too..arabic cusines were quite authentic and were quite rich in freshness..indian one were quite delicious too
Second time i tried Dajaj Faham (chicken marinated in home made dressing) and arabic style chicken biryani ( forget the name and it is not even in menu given in zomato..seems that zomato hasnt uploaded latest menu.please correct it)
Chicken dish was quite good in taste..biryani made in arab style was having more kadi pata than other species..thus making it a bit tasteless(may be arabic biryani is like that only)
They also have a few vodka cocktails at just rs 99..it was very well presented and was very good in taste..a must try here
May try some more arabic dishes in this outlet!!!
Celebrated my baby's first birthday here. Its a nice place for a gathering of around 60-70 ppl. Nice food and good service. Ambience is decent. Open terrace was a plus point on a sunny winter afternoon.
Great experience
Had pangs for Arabic/Lebanese food on a Sunday evening. Quick google search showed this place and also close to home. Landed with wife to a very sad looking deserted mall.
Climbed 3 floors to reach FoA. Nice place with normal lighting and CL T20 match on. Didn't find any Arabic music or dim lighting as some other reviews mentioned.
The food however was amazing. Ordered a chicken shesh touk and shawarma. Both were exceptionally good and the service was prompt too. Served imported beer also at normal rates which didn't make u feel paying through the nose.
All in all, a great experience for delicious Arabic food.
We organised ladies kitty in foa and believe me best part is the service ....... Waiters are very attentive and hospitable . Now comes food ........ We opted for veg buffet .... Very reasonable rate and delicious food specially crispy veg and paneer tikka
5/5
FOA - The Flavours of Arabia
Location - 3rd Floor (Ninex City Mart Mall) - Sector-49 [Gurgaon]
Ambience & Decor
The place is located at a walking distance from where I stay on Sohna Road. .The restaurant specializes in authentic Arabic Food and is located on the Third Floor with gigantic space for various entertaining options available to customize events according to the need of the hour. The entrance reflects a feeling of warmth with planters and desk for reception of the visitors and I liked the brick wall concept along the entrance which gives the place an amazing look !
Events at FOA - The Flavours of Arabia
Lunches, Dinners & Buffets, Personal Parties on Anniversary, Birthdays, Corporate Socials, New Years Bash with Live DJ
Owners of FOA - The Flavours of Arabia
I was fortunate enough to meet the Co-owner of FOA, Mr Debashish Bhattacharya who alongwith his partners, Mr Qamar Talat and Mr Shailender Tiwari had laid the foundation of FOA - The Flavours of Arabia. The restaurant began its operations in May 2012 when not many Arabic Restaurants had come up in Gurgaon. It was interesting to learn that Mr Debashish has taught in a hotel school in Muscat and he conceptualized the idea of setting up an Arabic Food Restaurant in NCR with his friends. A visionary, he sees himself opening another restaurant in Delhi couple years from now. With desi hindustani khana becoming more and more usual, the generation next is always looking out for something new and different. We have been having the traditional khana since our childhood - butter chicken, malai kofta, shahi paneer, alu paranthas, idli dosa and its time for foreign foods to give some experience to our taste buds. We are living in a multi cultural arena with the corporate sector having deep roots in NCR. In times to come, people like me would venture into exotic and authentic food eating and Arabic Food is one speciality which is being experienced by thousands of people in NCR alone.
Arabic Food Specialists - The Flavours of Arabia
FOA - The Flavours of Arabia is undoubtedly one of the best Arabic Food restaurants in Gurgaon and last week, me and my wife were looking out for a buffet dinner option and no where we came across buffet dinner deals on groupon, times deals and other websites. We decided to celebrate a special occasion at Ambience Mall - Asia Seven ! Today, during my talk with Mr Debashish, I realized that this restaurant has recently started with Buffet Arabic Food also. Though I still haven't tried out the buffet but will do so soon. The interesting part is that the cost of the veg and non-veg buffet is just Rs 399/- which by all standards is very nominal. But again, no where on the net did I come across the buffet deals with this restaurant offers. May be they will market this aspect to get more customers coming in for authentic arab food buffets in times to come.
The buffet menu keeps changing daily and the following is the buffet layout :-
Two Starters, 3-4 Vegetarian Dishes, One Non Vegetarian Dish and Two Sweet Dishes
Total Cost : Rs 399 !!
Mutton Shawarma is really good of this place. I have tried authentic arabic at few places this year and I don't go by the brand value of food restaurants but the authenticity of the food matters the most to me. I also felt that foot fall is increasing with respect to such restaurants and more and more people are visiting the restaurant.
The complex accommodates approximately 70-75 people and the adequate space in the balcony enables outsite sitting in the winter season when the sunlight is most preferred.
Overall, a place worth visiting and 100% Value for Money.
Thank you !
Had a gr8 Arabic lunch @ The Flavours of Arabia, Sohna Road , Gurgaon today. Amazing place with option to sit out in the sun in winters and with Sikris around in Chilly evenings...Indoors are gr8 as well. Gr8 food options...they have very good options of starters with nice salads and dips and amazing Arabic Biryani to die for. Nice Chocolate Pillow with Ice Cream an innovative dessert. Gud Options of cocktails n mocktails too.....Can`t try more then this at one go..wl have to visit again n again to try out all of the Menu.......wd b gud option fr group lunch/ dinners.....n family outings !!!
An amazing mughlai and Persian kitchen with lovely cuisine. It was my friend's birthday, and I took him to this place, and it was an amazing experience with lovely satays, hummus- the works! Economical prices, large quantities, and fast service - 5 star, but they did not accept card the time we went, but now they do? Awesome place to stuff yourselves
I had the most amazing time at this place. One of the very very few places where you can find authentic middle eastern cuisine. They have the best hummus in NCR and the Raan-e-khas is pretty awesome. Its not really a comparison, but, the next best Raan I have had was in jama-masjid. Another reason why I keep going back is the patio/open-bar which is again rare in Gurgaon.
I was a bit disappointed though because they were out of my fav beer hoegarden (twice!).

Way to make NINEX MALL AWESOME! : ) LUV YOUR RESTAURANT! : )
Me and my friend had a lunch there yesterday, tried it for the first time and it was GOOD.
Ambiance : since it was lunch time, we were the only customers. They have nice interior, though could have done better in terms of giving it a Arabic look. They also offer Hukkah / Sheesha. They have roof top area also - one portion can held ~40 people party and another one ~15 people. And inside, they can hold at a time ~25 people at a time. So a good place for small group party.
Menu : They have good few Arabic foods in the menu, along with Indian, Chinese and continental dishes. Arabic foods come with complementary Pita breads. We tried Zitters Chicken and Banana leaf stuffed chicken. The second one was really good in taste, though it was not 100% Arabic food.
Cost : The food was great value for money and I am sure I will go there to try some more Arabic foods...
This restaurant was introduced to me by a friend of mine and I must say this is the best place where you can relish the authenticate arabic cuisine. My experience was too good whether it was food or courteous and very polite serving staff. Good value for money.
Overall i had a great time there, would love to visit again whenevr i come to gurgaon again :)
had a great lunch after a long time....ambiance was so calm and good, service was also good...
overall i had a great time..
Excellent find for arabic food. Good value for money. Excellent place for birthday parties. Dont miss it.
Foa - Truely flavours of Arabia!
Went today and totally zapped with Foa!
A friend was often praising the entrees,my interest was developing continuously.Called a friend a planned a quick visit. The food was authentic and tasted so so good.A blissful experience and worth it.Portions were good and the pricing is also moderate considering it is Gurgaon .We had ordered Hummus which came with crispy and Pita breads which was finger licking experience! Next was Zaa'tar Chicken with a feta mint cheese dip which was again served over a pita bread ,very tasty very filling.Sipping a lime soda in between we were only discussing the menu and planning a next visit!Just planning the next visit soon to try out the other entrees!
The ambiance, the food, the service, all great!!
Hi,
this is very good food. DO not compare with US quality, comeon.
But this is really good food you can find in India.
Enjoyed the experience. Loved the Sheesh Tawouk, a Salad , and the Mezze platter (FOA Shaan). The dips etc were nice. Cant comment on authentic aspect though - not an expert on the cuisine.
They have a nice outdoor seating experience , indoor seating a bit cramped for busy days. We were there early evening on a Monday , so found the team responsive to our requests, and thankfully not much crowd.
What a pleasant surprise to have this place around on Sohna Road! Although the place now serves Indian, Oriental and Western cuisine, we stuck to what we originally went there for - Arabic cuisine. And we're glad.
The place has a nice ambience with authentic Arabic music audibly playing in the background. The indoor seating was neat and clean and the sofas had double the number of cushions than what one may need. OK, maybe 33% more but they did take up to much space on the sofa. The booth was separated by a high enough divider from the adjacent table.
We decided to move to the terrace to enjoy the sun and although there isn't much to rave about as far as the decor outside is concerned, the fact that it was neat and clean and we'll spaced out was welcome. The terrace also has the bar and I'm sure this place feels much better in the evening with some mood lighting and music. This was the " lounge" and does seem like a good place to catch up with friends over a few drinks.
Anyway, back to the food. We ordered the zaa'tar chicken and the fattoush salad for starters and both did not disappoint. The chicken on skewers was extremely flavorful. For the mains, we went with chicken shawarma and a dish interestingly called Dawood Basha. The shawarma was authentic and the chicken succulent. Without much of a perspective for comparison, we really enjoyed the shawarma. The Dawood Basha was served with Kabooz (bread) and had mutton balls in tomato gravy. Even though it looked fiery, it surprised us with its mildness and gentle flavors. We genuinely felt like we had our fill without the heaviness usually accompanying a lunch at a restaurant. We decided to slip dessert so, sorry no comments there! :-)
The service was another aspect that deserves a mention. I'm not sure if this was because the restaurant had very low occupancy at the time. The serving staff was courteous and pleasant and deserved a tip over the 10% service charge that was included.
Definitely recommended if you're considering a meal apart from the usual butter chicken or Hakka noodles.
i was visit in (foa)flavour of arabia its realy gd concept
It is a shock to have an Arabic restaurant on Sohna Road.
Nice food, service is pretty quick.
If the restaurant is full then it is litte congested and suffocated otherwise it is nice.
I had the chance to grab lunch at this restaurant a couple of days ago. The food was fresh, tasty, and what I consider to be fairly authentic, or as close to the real stuff. Considering the NCR region in general, has a paucity of good and authentic middle eastern joints, this moderately priced restaurant is worth a visit. I tried the shawarma and the za'atar chicken, both of which impressed. The reason I didn't go with a full 4/5, is the service and location. The service can be improved a bit.
We had visited FOA last week and wanted to read reviews to know if I am
biased and also to give my own piece of mind. The place is still finding
its patrons and hence less crowded. It may work well for some but may make
some doubt their choice of restaurant. However it ensures good
service!taking the liberty to mention real cuisine names we had Mezeh Sahan (assortment of all starters) and it immediately struck us that arabian dishes are not strongly flavored but needs a bit of soft chewing with eyes closed ;-). Wanting something mouthful we ordered Dajaj Faham (arabian grilled chicken) and to our table came a whitish looking nicely grilled chicken...much different to the orange/ red thing i have grown up on. It was juicy and i immediately wanted to order some nice white wine...(maybe some friday night..). To come more on known territories we ordered a rolled shawarma (though an open one was recommended) and yum...we were smiling...tasted much better than whats on other eatries but im definitely sure more taste is possible still. Even though full still willing to test if all what they got is arabian and the menu is just bloated we ordered Maharaja Platter (Indian Thali) and even we both could not finish it..we licked every spoon we got in our mouth. Maybe there was some sort of fusion but the dopyaja style thock gravy chicken and seriously thick makhani dal tasted very different and full of arabian hallucination with the pulao and butter roti. Since thali had a rasgulla and we were panting to breathe we dint ordered dessert and instead took a stroll of their open air seating side...something we will enjoy in our next visit!!
