The food here is amazing. One of the best kebabs paneer tikka is awesome Meva kiI Kakori Is melting dal is very good mushroom karare khumb not eating like this one in whole Gurgaon and Biryani is excellent. Moreover the Chef RIJO has magic in his hand.
Lavana is the fine dining restaurant of the hyatt regency, Gurugram.
As being a 5 star property, the interior and the ambience is lavishly created.
I visit the property, for a dinner with my close friends as to try out there new menu, about the KBC Fest- Kabab Beer Chaat fest.
As the name suggest, the fest includes unlimited kababs -3 veg/non veg with beer and chaats(Rs1699++). I really liked the concept as they offer you unlimited 3 variant of vegetarian and non vegetarian lip smacking kababs, paired with unlimited beer and chaat combining the whole package with veg/non biryani as main course and dessert at a great price.
the Kababs we got to try included,
Non Veg- Chicken gilafi seekh, amritsari fish and lamb boti
Veg- paneer tikka, malai broccoli and shaamj kabab
Paired with chaat- golgappa with 4 types of waters, bhel puri, and dahi bhalla.
Maims included- dum biryani both veg and non veg
And without deserts the meal is incomplete- shahi tukra made our day.
This combination makes us try variety of dishes from different parts of India.
So we went to this place for the special KBC Fest- Kebab, Beer and Chaat fest which is a great concept in my opinion. You get beer, different types of kebabs and chatpati chaat at just a nominal price, what more could you ask for?
Talking about the ambience, it's really beautiful. The place looks so classy and has an whole different level of uniqueness.
The food was really great, I loved the Gilafi Seekh Kebab and their Dahi Golgappa chaat. The Amritsari Fish was amazing too.
Talking about the service, it was really amazing. The management works like a pro, they're really good at their work.

Why should you be here? They have relaunched the restaurant and the menu is delicious. This could also be a great restaurant for a small Indian family get together or even kitties. The tales of Chef Agnimitra’s experiences and his passion for preparing each dish could remind you of how important cooking from the soul really is.
Must have’s : We went for a dinner to Lavana after their new menu launch, and here’s what I would recommend:
Starters:
- Veg : Mewe mawe ki Kakori , Hare pyaaz ka bharwan paneer tikka and bhutte ke kebab
- Non veg: Lahsooni Jheenga, Shahi Gilawat ke kebab
Main course:
- Veg: Chena kofta and Aloo curry patta
- Non – Veg: Gosht Beliram and Methi magaz machi
Desserts : Sakurewali phirni

We were very excited to have a dinner at Hyatt opened at sector 83, and when we reached we found more then what we expected, awesome ambiance great and BIGG buffet. Food was very tasty specially the mushrooms dish..best place enjoy and sip of vodka will add more glance to your taste.
Went to this place in early 2014. Outstanding place with fantastic decor and lovely ambience. The set menu was classic - the chef will personally come and accommodate special requests. Will go again.
It was my birthday evening and i was with Family and the choice made was absolutely correct and no regrets.
Brilliant in all ways - the decor, the ambience, the staff, the food.
Tried the Indian Cuisine which included Dal Makhani, Malai Kofta, variety of Breads & Veg Biryani and it was splendid quantity and quality wise. Special mention to the breads as not all restaurants serve soft breads.
The staff was also very warm and kind and the service they provided was marvellous and i could not stop praising them.
I loved the 'set' they used to serve the sides like aachar, papad, onion salad etc as complimentary.

This Hyatt is located towards manesar so you can have a nice highway ride before the dinner or lunch. Overall lavana has good food and great service. Must try's are kali daal(crazy shit) , non veg snacks like galouti kabab and chicken kalmi kebab. In main course also good is the mutton preparation (forgot the name)
Lavana at The Hyatt Regency Gurgaon serves an exciting line-up of slow-cooked delicacies that reveal the rich culinary heritage of the royal kitchens of Awadh. As my friends and I were seated at a table Chef Pushkar greeted us and inquired about our gastronomic preferences and then thoughtfully recommended that we begin dinner with a kebab platter stuffed with a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian kebabs since one of my friends was vegetarian.
So while the two of us were lured by "Shahi Galauti Kebab" and "Murgh Tikka Mirza Hansoo" my friend went for "Dhungara Paneer Tikka" and mentioned it had a flavor that was delightful. We too relished each bite of the slow-cooked minced mutton galouti kebab seasoned with the finest spices and the flavorful murgh tikka that had been painstakingly marinated for hours. Bliss!! I had no idea this platter was going to be such a defining appetizer — the kebabs were rich and aromatic and easily the best I have had in a long time! As we sat back and enjoyed a drink while waiting for the entrées I observed the staff as they worked the dining area checking on tables and re-filling beverages. They were sincerely taking care of guests.. which is nice.
For entrées we had "Lagan Ka Murgh" i.e. creamy chicken curry flavored with aromatic spices which we scooped with a side of buttered naan. Tender and juicy.. . If you like Awadhi cuisine you'll and way more flavorful than the ones I have sampled across Lucknow. Fabulous! Polishing off the curry with gusto the signature "Gosht Biriyani" we were served was the last thing we thought we could eat (we did save room for dessert!!). The gosht sandwiched between layers of fragrant long-grained rice and cooked over coals was magnificent.. making it a crowning achievement. To cap off the wonderful dining episode we were served a portion of the sinfully delightful "Shahi Tukda" and "Rabri Lachhedar". We didn't have it. Rather it HAD us.. totally captivated and under its glorious spell!
Kudos to Chef Pushkar for his gastronomic expertise and for sharing his culinary passion and talent and to Mahesh and Nitesh for the pleasures of a fine table. I highly recommending dropping in at Lavana with friends and family for the most sumptuous Awadhi cuisine in a modern opulent ambience. Bon Appétit! (1.4.2014)
Keep d food aside as it is amazing,, talking about d service, "I JUST LOVED IT"..... I went with my wife for a night stay in Hyatt Regency,Gurgaon nd had dinner at lavana,, we both just fell in love with that place..... I have tried plenty of other 5 star joints for night stays nd dine ins but there is something in this place which makes u feel on top of dis world,, plzzzzzz dont bring a second thought in your mind about dis place just go and enjoy every bit of it and i m sure u wont be disappointed.....!!!!!
Visited the Lavan restaurant some time back. The Hotel is newly opened on NH 8, a little out of way for Diners from Gurgaon. The dishes were prepared with delicate spices, subtle flavours and the cooking medium totally playing second fiddle to the taste of the meet and embedded spices therein. Only the galouti tasted more like shami. The experience was awesome and a welcome change from surfiet of the frontier food offered in many up market NCR restaurants. Full marks to the staff and service for being great hosts.
