Best food, tasty, services can be a little better. Staff can be a little friendly and instead of keeping an eye or staring at the customers eating the food, they can give a return smile. I recently went to this place for breakfast. They have tried to give a local Haryanvi feel as far as the ambience is concerned. The service was good. I ordered Gur lassi and Aloo pyaaz paratha (which is my favorite). I will not say that it was the best paratha that I have ever had but it was definitely good, I mean really good. Gur lassi was something that I wanted to experiment and it turned out to be good. The price was also pretty reasonable. So all in all this place is definitely worth trying out if you want try some Desi cuisine.

The restaurant will refuse to serve you the food if you give him a feedback on his service . Such a disappointment this place is !!!! The owner doesnot believe in having a feedback mechanism.
The owner of the restaurant refused to serve me because i returned the paranthas that he served me . the paranthas were not properly stuffed and were not baked properly .
i shared the experience with him for the first time , he changed the paranthas and then it happened again , i returned the paranthas again , and it was this time he said "Ma'am we cannot serve you , because you have returned the paranthas twice".
I was stunned with this behavior . I wanted to hit this guy right on his face but i am bound not to .
4 years before , i remember the same owner of the restaurant walking upto our table and asking if the food was good or not and we had this great smile and felt good about this place . but now Tau's sucks !!! the quality has been gone down to dogs!!! and if you tell them that the food is not good they will not hear you rather tell you that they cannot serve you .
when i asked if he had the feedback register he said "I AM THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE , I DONT MAINTAIN ANY SUCH FEEDBACKS " .
Guys lets together stop this monopoly .

I don’t understand how this place gets a rating above 3 star. I had ordered Kali mirch murgh and mutton biryani. The chicken was not cooked properly and felt hard and smelled bad, coming to mutton biryani it was as if the mutton piece was just taken out of gravy and placed in yellow colored rice, no taste at all please don’t serve food that you cannot cook!<br/>It’s just that the rates are on the lower side for the portion size else it’s a disaster, overall a very poor experience, would not recommend to anyone.

Loved the ambience of this place though I was expecting a proper desi style.<br/>I tried Khamba #lassi, chilled and sweet, which was satisfying. Also ordered #paneer, #daal, #mashroom sabji and butter roti. The butter was roti was below expectations. It wasn't properly applied on the rotis. The management can look at it and try to bring some improvements.

This cute dining place instantly struck chord with my heart because of so many reasons. We ordered a butter chicken and tandoori chicken for our lunch and it was so delicious. Right from the ambience to the cutlery , everything felt so homely yet exotic. Lastly, the dishes were not only worth the money but worth our hunger too! ALERT!!<br/>Pls refrain from visiting "Tau's" restaurant located at Ansal plaza, palam vihar..They served us in broken serving utensils and gave us 1 bone piece instead of chicken piece in chicken curry dish. When we asked waiter to exchange then owner came and started behaving rudely with us 😡 which is just unacceptable..Rather than being apologetic and respecting guest, he started showing attitude and misbehaved with my husband! God know what he thinks of himself and how he got so much proud for such a local food joint where customer's request go in vain.

A typical desi, pocket friendly cafe with amazingly tasty food. I visit Tau's specially for their delicious Keema Pao. Order alongwith Kadak Chai or Mango Lassi - in winters or summers respectively. Since, I am substantially a non-vegetarian, items worth exploring in menu are - Keema Kaleji, Murgh Khurchan, Punjabi Keema Parantha, Chicken Kathi Rolls..even in list of vegetarian - Bun Tikki, Mushroom Kathi Roll, Punjabi Aloo Pyaz Parantha etc. Largely, a cosy place to sit with rustic seating and dine tentalizing khana decently.

I have experence this place many times..yesterday we ordered chicken curray and rara meat with boondi raita and tawa roti...all were fabulously made..food was delicious.we had kheer and malai kulfi which was refreshing too..we tried their egg rolls too in the noon time was tastely and oilfree..we suggest this rastaurant to all ..value for money..we were three friends ..two main course of chicken and mutton was fair enough to fullfill our tummy.. cost per head was around 300rs which was very reasonable...overal i will give them four stars..

I have tried poori subzi and their pakoras platter and their alu chat and found that they put low salt in their dishes. Maybe because they know many people have blood pressure so they don't want to put more salt in case people have blood pressure. I added salt in their subzi and it becomes nice.

Tau's cafe and Lassi Bar is one of the best place for Fast food, north Indian food in Ansals Plaza Mall Palam vihar. I went there only for special Punabi Malai lassi Khamba glass (large glass) and it was so sweet with the amazing blend of thick delicious malai of Punjabi lassi the amazing drink in North India. Ambience is fine something different but the much talked about paranthas were very very average.( I can make better at home.. lol )<br/>So, we had aloo pyaz parantha, mooli parantha, gud vali lassi and kiwi lassi.<br/>May be my expectations were too high but it was normal food just like another highway dhaba.<br/><br/>Bad part waiters stood over our head to take order and had a continuous eye on our food that made sitting uncomfortable.<br/>Lot of scope for improvement.<br/>

Hence, we ordered for Masala Pav Bhaji , Bhajji Pakore and a sizzling #DaanedarShikanji. 🥛🍷 Pav Bhaji was beautifully presented and the layers of all exciting spices hovered on top of the Bhaji evidently. 🥘 It costed Rs. 75. The hot #Pakoras were brilliantly delicious. They served a mixture of variant Pakoras like Paneer Pakodas, Gobi , #TeekhiMirchi and Onion Pakodas. 🍥 The spicy #pudinaChutney gelled up well with the Pakoras. The #PakoraBasket was priced at Rs. 65. The final #khattameetha touch to the tastebuds was provided by this soothing, chilled #DaanedarShikanji. 🍶 It was happiness in disguise and was priced at Rs. 70 .
