It’s really good place to spent some time where you want to have a chat with friend along with good things to eat and drink .
I love the homely desi vibe of this place. It's a great place for a quick affordable meal and my go to place for weekend breakfasts. Some of my favourites are the aloo puri, omelette, chai, lassi
I had visited this cafe, and ordered a plate of pav bhaji and choley bhature and lassi. Firstly Affordable cafe. Pocket friendly for students. A family restaurant and the lassi was superb.
Great quantity and amazing taste. Loved the food!
Ordered chicken biryani and mutton curry and it was awesome Fresh and delicious food Loved the chutney
Ordered thali and lassi from Taus cafe and enjoyed the meal thoroughly, from the delicious dal to the well packaged lassi . Ordering from this cafe each time is pure delight !!
Recommend all to give it a try .

Thand Rakh at Tau's There are many cuisines to savor Delhi and many restaurants addressing those; However there is only one restaurant which services the haryanvi cuisine, in the vibe of 'Thand Rakh' . 'Tau's' in the Ansal Plaza Mall in Palam Vihar. These serve home style Haryanvi food Large (10 inch) Tawa parathas from 'Hari Mirch' to 'Chur Chur'. Along with that great non-veg and veg dishes like 'Chicken curry', 'Keema Kaleji', 'Palak Paneer; & great 'Daal' With all parathas comes this bowl of the fresh & naturally sweet bowl of Curd, Which you can have as 'Dhai cheeni' too. The prices are economical as well. The one thing to not miss is there 'Lassi' which is gorgeous. Almost no place in Delhi gives you this quality of 'Lassi' and at this price. Their decor is also comfort based with Modhas to give it the right feel. Rest_in_spice gives it a 5/5 and it's Hidden Gem in Delhi. I have been to there couple of times, all time they served with better taste and both quality and quantity.
Food taste is awesome and complete healthy.
Combination of oil and spicy are perfect.
One of the best place.
One thing I can say taste is different when we ordered online, came with more oil.
Loved the ambience of this place though I was expecting a proper desi style.
I tried Khamba #lassi, chilled and sweet, which was satisfying. Also ordered #paneer, #daal, #mashroom sabji and butter roti. The butter was roti was below expectations. It wasn't properly applied on the rotis. The management can look at it and try to bring some improvements.
This cute dining place instantly struck chord with my heart because of so many reasons. We ordered a butter chicken and tandoori chicken for our lunch and it was so delicious. Right from the ambience to the cutlery , everything felt so homely yet exotic. Lastly, the dishes were not only worth the money but worth our hunger too! Good job by the management, would definitely recommend this place 🌻
Keep it up you guys!
Their mushroom khurchan and aloo chat are still my favourite. Tau's was my go-to place whenever I wanted to have something other than my regular meal. They're also very welcoming and the ambience is lovely.
Nice restaurant to be at , Ambience is nice staff is quite responsive , food has an unique taste , curd serve here is home made , from pickle to gur evrything seems home cooked , try paranthas they best
Had Dinner at this place. Food is very good. Less spicy and minimal oil. Recommended for a quiet dinner with family. Very polite and friendly service as well. Value for money place... Keep up the good work:)
Wow! Amazing dhaba/military canteen styled non-vegetarian food. Home-cooked meals better than anything I can get in my own home! I heard their paranthas are worth trying, too. Update: If you like goat liver, then Chennai Liver Masala is a must have. Reminded me of Southern military canteen style eateries.
Tasty , authentic. Not expensive cafe at ANSAL mall. Must visit if you are at mall . Good as a hangout place . And as a full meal restaurant as well 👍
Amazing place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner if you are missing home cooked Parantha. They have varieties of paranthas served with butter which is definitely one thing I always order.
Alongwith that, all the main course dishes are dhaba style cooked food which are finger licking.
Recommended this place specially for breakfast for paranthas and lassi. 🤗
This place has my heart
I really like the north indian food they serve, its been two days continuously that I have been ordering food from this place
I like the andaa curry they served, the curry was thick and tasted delicious
Unlike other place, the aloo jeera they serve is really tasty with lots of flavours
I would love to try other dishes too

It is an amazing cafe .. It has variety of things ..................
I liked the food as well as ambience . it is a must visit place .......
This is the best place in palam vihar to have some lip smacking food which isn't hard on your pocket as well! They serve the best pav bhaji. Also, spring rolls are totally worth trying. Amazing staff and quick service. I love this place to bits!
It's a decent restaurant to have quality North Indian food in ansal plaza mall, palam vihar. Their thalis are of great quality...they serve decent paranthas as well..you can try their kadhai paneer too.
PS. - you must have their palak koftas available in tau's special thali and military thali ..
Thanks
A typical desi, pocket friendly cafe with amazingly tasty food. I visit Tau's specially for their delicious Keema Pao. Order alongwith Kadak Chai or Mango Lassi - in winters or summers respectively. Since, I am substantially a non-vegetarian, items worth exploring in menu are - Keema Kaleji, Murgh Khurchan, Punjabi Keema Parantha, Chicken Kathi Rolls..even in list of vegetarian - Bun Tikki, Mushroom Kathi Roll, Punjabi Aloo Pyaz Parantha etc. Largely, a cosy place to sit with rustic seating and dine tentalizing khana decently.
Good food. First time i visited with my friends, i Will recommend to visit one time.
You can visit with your family. Very good service served by cafe.
It’s an great experience to eat at tau’s . The must eat is the paneer parantha and the lassi you remember it till the end of the infinity. I have eaten paranthas of lot of places but the acchar served here is on top of the world .
Best Breakfast place. Gobhi and Chur Chur paranthas are a must have along Kadak chai or Haryanvi chaach. Service speed is descent, so is the price.
Average food but value for money
Very nice food in taste not much fancy food , very much balanced in spices & taste . Variety of food is good chole bhauture, paneer paranta is must try dish of this restaurant.
Price is bit high but food is hygenic and tasty (Ghar jaisa swad)
Cost - 3/5
Taste -4/5
Space - 2/5
Crowd - 4/5
I have experence this place many times..yesterday we ordered chicken curray and rara meat with boondi raita and tawa roti...all were fabulously made..food was delicious.we had kheer and malai kulfi which was refreshing too..we tried their egg rolls too in the noon time was tastely and oilfree..we suggest this rastaurant to all ..value for money..we were three friends ..two main course of chicken and mutton was fair enough to fullfill our tummy.. cost per head was around 300rs which was very reasonable...overal i will give them four stars..
It is a family restaurant with the feel of a dhaba. We ordered mixed pakoras,Vada Pao and Puri with Aloo ki Sabzi. Everything was tasty and fresh. Hygienic place and tasty food. I loved it. I would love to visit this place again.
They have a variety of food like parathas ,thalis, Chinese, rolls, snacks etc. We ordered aloo pyaz paratha,it was served with butter dahi and pickle. Their Gurwali lassi is also a must try. It was really nice experience with this restaurant. We will definitely order food from them.
I love this restaurant's kadhai paneer and I love it. But I think that the quality and size of Tawa Phulka is not according to it's price... Tawa phulka is actually not kinda phulka and smaller in size... Otherwise I love this restaurant...
One advice- Don't order tawa phulka from here, you can get it better from other places at cheaper price
Looking for authentic Indian cuisine? This is the place to be. Try the mutton curry and parantha combo. The seating is not that comfy though. Overall the feeling is very home-like specially keeping the cutlery in mind.

Love this place. Been here many times and tasted almost all of the items in the menu. Each item is worth trying and won’t disappoint you. Yes, there are quite a few which might don’t serve your taste appetite, but that is applicable to all the restaurants.
Very Good food. Have ordered Gurwali lassi and Puri Sabzi thru delivery, Food might look simple to plain eyes but it is yummy. will surly be coming back to try more items.
Food prepared by the chef was awesome. Feel like homemade food😋 . Try it.
It was really nice experience with this restaurant. We will definitely order food from them. Price are also reasonable for every items.
It is such awesome place.. With managed hospitality.. Hygienic place.. With tasty food.. I loved it.. I will convince all my family and Friends to visit this place..❤️
chatni was missing and was less spicy as I expected it to be..
I have been meaning to review this place for the longest time ever simply because I had ordered in a couple of times and food is absolutely on fleek here!
It's situated in Ansal mall and is a small place. I prefer to get my food delivered from here (their timely delivery being the most important reason) Have tasted a few things and everything that I have tasted till now has been delicious (no kidding y'all)!!!
Some recommendations:

Tau's cafe and Lassi Bar is one of the best place for Fast food, north Indian food in Ansals Plaza Mall Palam vihar. I went there only for special Punabi Malai lassi Khamba glass (large glass) and it was so sweet with the amazing blend of thick delicious malai of Punjabi lassi the amazing drink in North India. If you are looking for good lassi then must visit this place in Palam Vihar, Ansal Plaza Mall.
The food is so good and finger licking. Especially the gulab jamuns. They are very soft and satisfying! The best lunch I’ve ever had in Palam!
Tau is a perfect little in budget family dining restaurant. Nice earthly ambience with some delicious dishes. The food preparation and taste truly gives you a feel of village food. Cherry on the cake is the gur which you get with mouth freshner.
Dishes: Chaach (must try), Mix parantha, veg thaali and paneer parantha.
Thumbs up!
Perfect place for punjabi taste, dal makhni and pranthas are highly recommended, service was upto my expectations, food was presented good and taste was pretty decent.
NOTE - cheap rate and large quantity 👍
A good economical place to grab your favourite home style food! Chaach made my day and of course the keema pav... a new twist to the regular pav bhaji!
Really Clean and Delicious Food!!
Great food and staff. Service delivery charges can be reduced.
food as good as home cooked food
superb food and delivery.
gr8 food with timely delivery and lots of salad 👍
I always order the paneer egg roll and vada pav. they are both consistently delicious. Love it!
Delivered before time. Chicken is good as well as Suji ka Halwa.
#FancyName can make you all excited and intriguing at the same time to visit an outlet. That's what happened at this fancy place here. And and and, thankfully, the food here is equally exciting. It was time to satiate my #ChotiChotiBhookh Wali Craving. Hence, we ordered for Masala Pav Bhaji , Bhajji Pakore and a sizzling #DaanedarShikanji. 🥛🍷 Pav Bhaji was beautifully presented and the layers of all exciting spices hovered on top of the Bhaji evidently. 🥘 It costed Rs. 75. The hot #Pakoras were brilliantly delicious. They served a mixture of variant Pakoras like Paneer Pakodas, Gobi , #TeekhiMirchi and Onion Pakodas. 🍥 The spicy #pudinaChutney gelled up well with the Pakoras. The #PakoraBasket was priced at Rs. 65. The final #khattameetha touch to the tastebuds was provided by this soothing, chilled #DaanedarShikanji. 🍶 It was happiness in disguise and was priced at Rs. 70 . The overall experience here was mindblowing and the ambience was beautifully incorporated to give a 'sitting inside a #DesiDhaba ' wali feeling.
ordered chole bhature and they were delicious
Quick delivery and pretty good taste

Amazing Dhaba style ambience here and the food is finger-licking! Ordered Masala Pav Bhaji and Mixed Pakora Basket. The pakoras were piping hot and tasted delicious. Pav Bhaji was a classic delight with cream textures of Bhaji
Went for lunch with a friend. Service was great. Food portions were good too. Ordered Dal Makhani and kadhai paneer with Roomali roti. Dal was surprisingly delicious. But kadhai paneer wasn't upto the mark. the portions were quite good. Overall good food..
Good food like home... service is little slow ..one can enjoy with family or friend's group lunch or dinner it would be a good option in Gurgaon.

It's an absolute delight to relish their Dal Makhni and signature Lassi. Even the crockery they use will remind you of our traditional Indian household.
Thanks very much.
Superb food, and great service. Visited Taus after so many days and the familiar great taste was still there.
Best food, tasty, services can be a little better. Staff can be a little friendly and instead of keeping an eye or staring at the customers eating the food, they can give a return smile. It seems scary sometimes. I have visiting the restaurant for the last 6 years and never got bored of the taste and the variety on the menu card.
Delicious food in competitive price. Awesome ambience along with some antique furniture.
Sufficient quantity offered in a plate.
Neat and clean place with supportive staff.
I recently went to this place for breakfast. They have tried to give a local Haryanvi feel as far as the ambience is concerned. The service was good. I ordered Gur lassi and Aloo pyaaz paratha (which is my favorite). I will not say that it was the best paratha that I have ever had but it was definitely good, I mean really good. Gur lassi was something that I wanted to experiment and it turned out to be good. The price was also pretty reasonable. So all in all this place is definitely worth trying out if you want try some Desi cuisine.
Amazing cafe for parathas, chai and lassi. If you love to eat these then this ia must try place, even if its far, you should give a try. It's on the ground floor and has a good seating capacity.
If you want home like food outside, there is no better place than Tau''s Cafe in Gurgaon. I have not eaten better mutton than this in long long time.
Onion and hari pudina chatney served with food add to the awesome experience.
Another must try here is "Chaanch" which is as desi as it can be.
I have been here few times now, quality of food is always super, fulkas served here give home like feel.
Love the ambience and the staff courtesy. Good food and reasonably priced.
Cosy little place. The Tandoori Chicken, chicken curry and tava chicken are quite good...
I have tested Chole Bhature it was so testy so I recommend Tau's cafe and lassi bar
Ordered dry chili paneer it was so tasty
Food Taste is not upto the mark Average
