Good but small place for candlelight dinner.
The food was really good. However ambience was too cluttered. Drinks served were quick and good. Ordered beer and it was good experience by flavour.
Awesome experience! I came here by myself and treated myself to the ala carte! It was delicious! The staff was so nice and friendly!!!! And....the food came with a in house drink I will for sure be back! I got full with only 2 plates of the delicious food!! The price was also great....for the dinner I am a happy camper! Woo Hoo! What a lovely meal we had here. I used my app as we were mid-town and wanted Indian food and didn't really know the area. Candle light came up with a solid 4.4-star rep and. Sounded good to us.
We ordered the vegetarian meal for 2 which allowed us to order 3 different veg main dishes with rice, bread dessert and samosas. It was delicious and a wonderful meal to boot. The atmosphere is cheerful and pleasant and we both enjoyed the with Bollywood music. The service was welcoming and cheerful. We'll be back.
What an amazing little gem this place is! My friend discovered it and we planned a date to try it out. So glad we did. The food and service is excellent! There's a full bar and it feels very authentic as soon as you walk in. They're also playing Bollywood and Indian pop videos which is super cool to watch during your meal. We ordered appetizer. Then we ordered Chicken tikka, Chicken curry, and sea food...wow! So delicious! Also probably the best naan I've ever tasted! Better than good pizza dough! Also I would try the few beverage. We are definitely coming back! Very decently priced.
Been wanting to try this joint out for months! Finally got the chance tonight with my sister. Love the ambiance! Food was very good, not overpowering, just right, just the way I like it. I really enjoy Indian cuisine specially North Indian. I've been to quite a number of Indian Restaurants and I would say this would be one of the ones I would keep coming back to.
Love sitting on the cute floor seats. Every single staff member was so kind and accommodating! The food was delicious. I've never had such juicy and moist chicken in a curry dish or tandoori in my life. Strong drinks, delicious dessert. I will definitely be back!
If you can't bear the traffic or trek to Other Restaurant in the Delhi NCR, Candle Light is perhaps the pick of the many Indian restaurants in Palam Vihar. Been a regular for couple of months and Candle light has changed, which is always a sigh of relief. See - consistency is king here.
This is my second visit here. The first visit was at the Fairfax one. I would highly recommend this place. This is in true sense the fusion Indian restaurant without compromising on the authentic Indian cuisine flavour.
As I am foodie, although the options are pretty cool but they do have veg alternative to all meat curries. The tikkas is very good. The Butter Naan is a must try. If you are a vegetarian then opt for the Paneer alternative of Butter Chicken instead of Paneer alternative of Chicken Tikka Masala. On my first visit I had that and it was hands down better than paneer tikka masala that I had on my second visit.
This place is generally crowded on weekends and holidays so I'd definitely recommend reserving a table in advance.

like many other reviewers, i've been a fan of Candle light since the first locations were opened. i came to this location for my first time this week and was happily surprised to see the Manager working in that location! he's always very welcoming and remembers his customers:) the location is big, cozy atmosphere, MORE THAN FAIR PRICES, and you will never be disappointed by the delicious food they offer!
I went last night for the first time in a long time, and I'm so glad I did! Their menu had been updated since my last visit, and they had tons of unique options that I'm not used to seeing at Indian restaurants. The drinks pours were generous (and so reasonable). The tikkas were perfection, the currys was flavorful and delicious, and all of the main dishes we got were equally good. We were both full, but could not stop eating because it was so good. Sometimes I leave Indian restaurants feeling really heavy and full, but despite eating way more than I meant to last night, the food was clearly high quality and not too heavy, as I felt great. Can't wait to return and try some of their Currys!
I really like the restaurant ambience figured it was one of the most authentic Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The food was so good the spices aroma and the look and feel was so cool and a shame shame. They also had the bar which was a great combination goes with Indian food. We had Indian main Courses and currys and some garlic naan. Love the food love the service love the place. I would definitely recommend this Indian restaurant in the city.
I wish we found Candle Light earlier! An excellent neighborhood Indian restaurant with the most friendly staff and great food. We've tried almost everything on the menu, and haven't had anything we didn't like. Especially fond of the paneer and chicken dishes, and most of their curry dishes.
They seem to do a lot of to-go orders, but we prefer dining in here to talk and get menu recs from the staff.
Great Indian restaurant in Chicago. Every dish my friends and I ordered were very flavorful and delicious. We ordered the Garlic naan which I love! Paneer Tikka With Crispy Palak is my favorite as well, Palak Paneer, Chilly Paneer Gravy that has a kick to it if you like spicy food. You'll love the korma.
The staff is very friendly and all the dishes came out fresh and hot. We arrive on a Friday night and there wasnt a long wait at all. The price is reasonable and would recommend anyone who's craving Indian to try Candle light.
I am always a fan of Indian food and this restaurant did not disappoint. The menu is really cool and vibrant.
We confirmed with the server that there was authentic boneless biryani and it was really done nicely with sweeter side not a spicy side.
We also ordered the dal makhini, chiken tikka masala and chicken biryani. All were delicious.
I rated this a little higher than I wanted to because of the manager. I am not very familiar with Indian food and the manager was kind enough to stop at our table an explain everything we ordered. This was a huge deal considering our server offered no assistance at all. We even asked for help and got none. In part this was my fault for trying something without someone with me who could help with my choices. Service aside the food was very good and I will be going back but perhaps I will do a little studying before returning. The atmosphere was also great!
This is some of the finest Indian cuisine in Palam Vihar (and I live near ). I was introduced to this gem by an Indian friend who frequents it often. The food is authentic, and presentation is professional. The chicken makhani was delicious, although the naan bread was a bit greasy for my taste. The price was quite reasonable. I plan on making it one of my regular downtown spots.
Outstanding food. kind of hidden but well worth finding. food was great. only thing i disliked was a lack of masala or cream based dishes. most everything on the menu was a curry based dish. wanted to see Chicken masala or korma. other than that...this is a must eat place.

Just had the meal from here and it was excellent. I am picky with Indian food and just about everything here tasted great. And I loved the hot naan bread they bring to table. Most dished are not very spicy, so if you like your indian food kicked up a notch on the hot scale then this place is not for you. Went at noon and service was quick with no wait to be seated. Overall a good place for dining in the Palm vihar.

The Menu trumps Indian Courses of Palam vihar. I even had a couple things I'd never had before. The decor and the setting enhanced the experience. Add some good company and this place has won a place in my heart as THE Indian place to eat in Palam vihar. I would recommend this place.
Of the dozen times imve been, the last two times I have been here were after movies at Gurgram. Even at 10p they were eager to please and the food came out in a timely manner. I really enjoy the side dishes and the selection of "dips". And their Drink is really delicious.
If you come by for lunch, consider the non veg as an option. It's not huge, but the food and variety is quiet good for all types of people.
I went last night with 3 other people. The place is nice and the service was good.
The kebabs were OK, but the entrées were fantastic. Everything from the veggies and Chicken to the Lamb dishes were excellent.
I recommend if you're in the Palam Vihar area.
The entire evening was unforgettable: It was warm, it was cozy, it was sparkly--it was beautiful. The second time I have had Indian cuisine and I know I had the pleasure.

The first time we went, I had recently been to a private ceremony and loved the food, but didn't know what anything was called. The Manager happily came by and helped to determine my favorite dish and to suggest the other dishes we tried.
Parking can be a pain, but we could usually find a spot on Palam Vihar.
We have since moved to Gurgaon, but ensure we stop by the restaurant for amazing Indian food whenever we get back to Gurgaon. This was our go-to spot for whenever we had guests in town, or wanted to take a group out. Can't wait to find an equivalent atmosphere in Gurgaon.
LOVE this place! My partner and I went here almost every week for five months while living in Palam Vihar. They have a great special menu on Holiday, which made this our go-to romantic dinner for 2/14 two years in a row. The service is friendly and helpful (albeit at a slower pace - which allows to build anticipation at the beginning, and aids in digestion after the meal - so relax!).
The Candle light was so authentic. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. They have a lot (like a ton) of options but trying to convey "pure veg" was a little difficult. We had it work and our meal was amazing! Prices are also very much fair with quality ingredients. I recommend this place.
I had the best Indian food here than I've had in a long time. The chicken tandoori was cooked to perfection, moist and juicy, not too spicy. The fresh raita was heavenly and the Mocktails fresh, flavorful, yummy. I've never had Such a Nice appetizers and really loved it. The chef stopped by to see if everything to my liking, and he suggested to treat me to rice to go with my meal. A really nice experience. Can't wait to return and venture out and try something new. This was really good food.
The Butter Chicken curry was really, REALLY tasty - but I did not expect it to have bones in it. Maybe that's normal (I'm not exactly an Indian food connoisseur). Also love the range of appetizers and mains with pairing of drinks. I love the place the very well. thanks

Good, rotating selection in the menu. You will absolutely leave stuffed and epicurically satisfied It's easy to get a table, even at lunchtime, but there's always a lively crowd. The lunchtime price is very reasonable, especially considering the potentially unlimited amount of food you get per dollar, but things get a little more pricey come dinnertime. About the aesthetic, I originally typed, "the decor fits right in with the rest of GGN" but that's a real backhanded compliment. I'll just say the place looks nice.
I've never tried good Indian food (under romantic place)before and woowww it was so delicious! I love Indian food and I loved this place. Nice atmosphere and great service! Staff were really friendly and attentive! If you want to try a new restaurant I definitely recommend this one! Will be coming back for sure!
Dinner is incredible! Always have chicken tikaa with Butter chicken available, plenty of variety overall. Many dishes are vegetarian, but the flavors are wonderful. Drinks list were fabulous. After eating as much as you desire finish it off with the ice cream in summer and gulab jamun in cold days.

OMG this has to be the best Indian food I have ever had....and I have tried all of them in Gurgaon and most in the suburbs! The ambiance is warm and inviting, the service is phenomenal and the food is absolutely amazing! The dinner is unbelievable and very economical. For dinner you must start with Kebabs and then the Tandoori Chicken or Tikkas, it's AWESOME! Of course the Paneer Makkhani is one of my fav's too! I most definitely recommend this restaurant...especially if you want authentic cuisine and atmosphere. They treat you like family!
I have been inhaling this food for many, many years and just when I think it can't get any more delicious I get pleasantly surprised. This is the best thing going this side of Palam Vihar!!! The food is succulent and delicious with a variety of tasty dishes to sample during the lunch or dinner which, in this economy, is a steal! The atmosphere and decor lend to one's imagination and if you close your eyes you can almost pretend you are in India! I think Gurgaon is completely overrated so if you haven't been to Candle light come see what you've been missing. Best day for Dinner is Friday. The chef may even come out to pay you a personal visit. Happy dining!!
To my surprise, the food tasted great for the price and location, literally a hidden gem. Went in for the Dinner and the were seated right away. Usual Indian Course fare with lots of good options. The quality was great, especially the chicken and paneer dishes. Service was quick and proper, no delays, worked best since it was lunch time on a workday. Parking could get a bit difficult at times and the area is a bit sketchy.
Pretty solid food here. The curry is tasty, hot, and yummy. The lunch buffet is awesome and has a ton of options. I really like the lunch boxes that they sell. I usually get the chicken and vegetable lunch box (which also comes with rice), which costs me only 300-400. so it's a great cheap grab and go place. Definitely would recommend for lunch. this place has very good vibes ad even suitable for all classes especially couple.
I just went for the Dinner. Everything was very good, but a few items were luke warm. Selection is amazing, and the service was good. I would come back, but I probably would make sure to get there soon after the Dinner starts. Everything would have been amazing if it was still hot.
Tried Indian Garden for the first time with a in house deals, and loved it! They have great food and great service. Their servers are friendly but don't hover, and they have cool decor featuring dim lights. Especially loved chicken Tikka Masala and the garlic naan. They have a whole list of specialty stuffed naans - The lamb was good, best ever. Drinks were really nice (see? great service.)
Just went here for my bday dinner. There were 7 of us and we ordered 5 dishes, which was more than enough w/ the naan and rice.
We started with the samosas, which were awesome. They were so fresh and HUGE. My favorite dishes were the Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken.

Came here after the festival of lights and we were seated immediately. There were a few large parties waiting, but since we were only 2, they had a table for us. Service was not very attentive, but not too bad. Food was very tasty, prices seemed fair, good serving sizes. I recommend this place.
I come here maybe once a month for the lunch or dinner and I've always been pleased by the selection of dishes available. Few bucks gets you the delicious and varied 3 course menu, plus fresh, tasty naan and some sizzling hot tandoori chicken. Sometimes, they have a hot, sweet dessert--you learn something new every day!). Definitely a great value for a really satisfying lunch.
I go here for the lunch or dinner and its always a little bit different. I love it I always get a chance to try new items. I crave this place and for some reason every one that I work with knows when I need the Candle Light. The service is great and the restaurant is beautiful and spacious.
Great luncht. You won't find the Best Tandoori chicken on the menu but they'll serve it to you on a sizzling platter at your table. The menu has a good selection plus some other "off the beaten path" items like the goat curry. I loved the Currys - Naan is also served at your table hot and fresh.
I was craving for some Non Veg so I looked for Indian restaurant near me at app and found this one-- it has plenty of good reviews, so my husband and I decided to try this place. The place was almost full when we got there, but we managed to get a table as soon as we walked in the door. The food was great, especially the mutton dishes (which is my favorite Indian food), but I feel like the selection was too few for a buffet...although, to be fair, the price is a bit cheaper than other buffet restaurants in the area.

Food taste good, not spectacular, but good enough for the price. Service is good.
While this may not be the best Indian food in the city, this restaurant holds a special place in my heart. My boyfriend and I come here for *date night* from time to time and I am always happy with the super service and staff.

I tried Candle Light Restaurant again, this time for the lunch. I ate two platefuls of the Paneer and Daal Dishes It was delicious. I could barely fit the equally delicious battered fried mushrooms into my stomach.
During our meal a group of 4 came in. I couldn't help but overhear him telling his companions how a particular dish should really be like this or really be like that. My guess is that Candle light does not serve food as it is served by my Favourite Restaurant in Delhi, but this does not make its food any less delicious. Hang it up, you Indian Food Snobs! This place serves solid food!
The waitstaff was attentive throughout the meal, and we received our check right as we were ready to go. I'll be back for this meal again!

Delicious Indian food! I have been here twice and have been blown away both times. The last time my friend and I were there, we ordered the sampler appetizer to get a little bit of everything and everything was great. They give you three different kinds of sauces which were so good for dipping food. Two of them have a little bit of a kick. We split two entrees which were both stellar. The lamb, chicken and sauces are great and then there is bread too - yum!! I will be back when I am craving Indian food!
Candle Light in one of my favorite restaurants in Palam Vihar. I love Indian food, both northern and southern, I've taken cooking courses and have even learned to make a few of my favorite dishes at home and thus, coming here is always a real treat.
Not only are the dishes smartly presented, the food is expertly prepared and as a result, outstanding. Each time that I visit, I normally try at least one new dish and I've never been disappointed. My last visit was two nights ago, and even on a cold and blustery night, the kitchen seemed to be operating on all cylinders.
Finally, the staff and management are all top notch. I especially look forward to visiting with them and getting recommendations for new items to try. Visit often; you will be glad you did!
Candle light is a Romantic Place and located in Palam vihar. This place is very good vibes and environment. I tried couple of appetizer that includes grilled platter and drinks.. and we happy to report that everything was perfect and value for money.. I def recommend this place.

Love Candle Light. I've been coming here for months. Everything always tastes very fresh, is cooked with the perfect amount of ghee, the service is great and there is plenty of food and drinks in the menu. Plus they have - my all time favorite Indian street food appetizers! I def like this place.
Had lunch with my friend here for the first time after driving by it soooo many times. They have delicious variety of food from all over India and have quickly become our new favorite neighborhood Indian Restaurant. The manager, who told us they had been here for years, and i can see why! Besides having such great food, they are so sweet and accommodating as well as seem to speak a few on dishes. We can't wait to come back and try out more of the menu.

Absolutely the best Indian restaurant is Palam Vihar. The food is delicious, my friend and I already tried everything on the menu, and absolutely no competition! Always authentic Indian music, not too loud, so you can relax. Great service, very polite and professional! I recommend this place.
This place is great for lunch. The place is always a crowd pleaser. I usually have the vegetable lunch 2 with paneer tikka masala. The salad has a minty light dressing. The daal is always cooked well and has a nice texture. May take longer to get your food if you get the lunch specials. The chciken have a nice crispy covering.
Went for lunch the second day they were open. Stunning! Food, service and the cloth napkins and cloth tablecloth floored me at LUNCH. I love this place - going backwards, five different desserts and a great array of foods, specially liked the chicken tandoori and the choice of naan, right out of the oven. All the appetizers were truly delicious as well. Parking - can you believe it, the parking fairy emptied a place right in front!
The Dhaniya Murg Curry was delicious. We were in the mood to try something out of the ordinary and asked our server about this dish. Graciously and patiently, he explained the nuance of the fenugreek infused dish to us and offered suggestions on accompaniments-samosas and delicious freshly baked naan. The atmosphere was quiet and conducive to conversation and enjoyment of the meal. This is a new favorite go-to for authentic Indian food in Sohna Road
We have always had respectful and attentive service here and have been coming here for several months. Our favorites are chicken Tikkas, chili chicken etc. They have wonderful naan and the drinks are fantastic. The Dinner is a great way to sample some of these dishes. Drinks were fabulous too and even the services was fast and attentive for us.. I recommend this place.
My favorite restaurant in Palam Vihar! The butter chicken is amazing every time and the naan is equally as good! The prices are a little on the higher end but completely worth it, and by no means "expensive." Plus, the portions are generous and I always have leftovers for the next day. I definitely recommend!
Went here with coworkers from work. Tried the Starters which was a recommendation from my co worker. The food was delicious and was offered in a sizable portion. The Chicken Tikka and the Lehsuni Paneer Tikkas were my favorite from the platter. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic Indian food for a decent price.
WE Went for the lunch and really enjoyed it. It isn't massive but it has a really good selection, and included several items I haven't seen before at an Indian buffet, including complimentary mocktail. I can't speak to its "authenticity," as I am in no part Indian, Expert but everything tasted great, and didn't have the watered-down quality a lot of mass appeal buffets can have.

Took a group 5 here for dinner Saturday night. We had Tikka Lasooni, Curry, Non Veg Tandoori Platter, and Kormas. The Korma and Rogan Josh were good, the Curry and Tikka Misala were excellent. Rice and Naan were great as well. Service was quick and attentive, food was very good.
Will definitely go again, and definitely recommend this place!

This place is a great example of a memorable meal. I ate at another, more expensive restaurant the next day, and the food was... just food. At Candle Light, the food was "Awesome"! I need to go back. I'm getting hungry writing this. Service was attentive though.

We Came on a Sunday 3 Course Meal to it Ala-carte However, the food was still very good. I had the Murgh biriyani was good. The Tikka Lasooni were nice and hot. The Murgh Kabuli is delicious! I kept ordering more. The naan was warm and moist not dry. Also had Amritsari Macchi was grilled with onions and peppers. Chicken curry with naan had a good balance of spices. They have a special for two that is a good price if you are on a date. it's a good deal. Services was itself a pretty good.
Just finished a fantastic dinner...sizzling delicious tandoori chicken tikka all white meat served on a plate dish with an order of daal makhni and an order of Butter chicken...of course perfectly cooked basmati rice and a raita....combine it altogether and you have the most delicious Meal of India cuisine located in a beautiful dining room overlooking ...can't miss for any occasion
We are in the area and go for the dinner deals or get take our often. Always just the freshest most delicately spiced food you can find. This is the place that has been the standard I judge other Indian restaurants to. Service was attentive and dishes were upto marks. whatelse is require more. Great place for romantic dinner.
Just what I needed on a freezing evening after a full day of hot meetings. A coworker and I came in here without reservations, but we were able to get seats easily near the bar. The workers here are very helpful and answered all questions we had. We were going to order a few bites to go and head back to the hotel, but decided to dine here afterall, and we were glad we did.
I've eaten at many Indian restaurants my whole life in NCR and spent 4 months in GGN. My dad was born in Delhi and I cook Indian food. This is by far one of the best in GGN, especially on the PV Side. Seriously, the seasoning is so on spot! It's probably good I don't live closer or I'd go all the time, especially for the Indian dinner, one of the best dinner I've been to GGN. I rarely write reviews, but just have to for this place.

Lunch is perfectly a bang for your buck! Fresh food is put out frequently as it is running low and the variety of selections is mouth watering!
Alot of selections to choose from, so make sure you arrive with an empty stomach.
Dinner is a la carta and let me say that after being there now many times I've pretty much ordered it all from the entire menu. Their chicken dishes is to die for! Such great flavor, you just have to try it yourself.
For those people that are vegetarian let me suggest their Paneer Lababdar. You can easily taste the freshness of it in every bite.
The servers are also very attentive in the service, simply great food spent with family time what more can be asked for in life!
Loved this place. I've personally have had a hard time finding good Indian food in PV,GGN but I'm happy to have found Candle Light. I came for dinner and ordered some combo platter thing (I forgot the name of) but it came with like 8 different things and a dessert. Will come back again to try the dinner !
Well This is the Indian food I've been craving for. Something typically overlooked but these people have the best naan I've had in Palam Vihar. Same goes for the paneer makhani - bursting with authentic flavors. Loved the decor and ambience and perfect for a good spending moment with dear one.
This place is such a great deal! I'll come for their meals which I believe is reasonable now, but it's worth it. While they don't have a million dishes, they do have fresh baked garlic naan that they give out, one kind of salad, and a few curry dishes and a chicken dish. It's not completely vegetarian, but there's only one option for meat which is chicken. I'm not complaining though because a regular chicken plate can get pretty pricey. The service is pretty attentive and they cleared our plates pretty quickly. They get our naan out pretty quickly too!
Nice place to have Indian food in this part of the Palam Vihar. Murgh Tikka, Crispy Honey Chicken and Chicken Noodles are good choices if you want to have something vegetarian. The host was very nice and attended to us for every special request since we were dining with friends of more than 6. They have wide variety of choices in their menu from kabab, stuffed mushrooms and lots of nicely cooked breads which I don't find at other Indian restaurants. I'd love to come back here.
