My Recently Visit at The Spice Room is quite nice. We have been their for dinner And my experience was good. We Started with some starter, we try tandoori chicken and paneer tikka, all are great. And end with dal makhni and butter chicken with mixed bread. We Highly recommended all that dishes. Ambiance & interior they have was really awesome and beautiful.

ChicKen Lababdar - absolutely delicious with garnish topped with grated Indian Cheese .
Mugh Tikka – Baked to perfection in Tandoor
In Service – We found service prompt and accurate . The Captains and server were well trained , they have taken well care for us .
In Ambience -The tables are set to accommodate 2 to 8 persons easily. Depending on a number of members, you get a right place to enjoy here. The building is no smoking zone. Smooth music was played . The Display Kitchen is visible from the Dining Area..
If you stay at Sohna Road , you could also order home delivery and enjoy some authentic Indian food.
The Manager Shiva is excellent guy . He facilitates our all requirement .Very courteous and always " yes" attitude . Well Done ..keep up the excellent work .

THE SPICE ROOM, I Went there before 1month with friends and enjoyed starters and drinks. Suggestion to them to add some more items in starters and main course also.
The friendly service, awesome range etc continues. But with the competition hotting up and more similar restaurants coming up, their USP is no more and they have not evolved enough to hold the customer's continued patronage. The taste is still good, though.
Found very interesting . Earlier I thought it is costly .but after seeing their service and the food quality I found out that it is worth that money
I had their lunch buffet & everything they served was amazing. Out of the all things i loved the dal makhani & paan-vanila ice-cream the most, one the best dal makhani I ever had. The ambience is very peaceful & soft. The light music also goes along with the ambience.

Food & Beverages: Loved the whole spread of options available, Mutton Gharwala got all my attention along with Tawa Roti. Mutton was no where close to how I cook in my house but it was worth its taste, I didn't regret. Mutton was tender and getting all the spicy flavour, too much oil probably could be avoided. Loved the Tawa Roti, was very closed to how we cook at home and I didn't I tell you, I simply love my mutton with plain Tawa Roti.

with packaging as well. No spillages, everything in tact, food was delivered with 45 min commitment from Foodpanda.
Value for Money: Its the worth the taste, I didn't mind paying the listed price, anything further cheap is always welcome.

Last Sunday we visited TSR. We booked a table there for 4 person. We ordered North Indian food. All food was up to the mark and specially their Dal Makhani was very mouth watering. Their manager has a good sense to attend the guest and serving us like a friend. Apart from that the ambience of the restaurant was very nice. Love to visit this place again.....
It's a neighborhood outlet so went into try a new place . We were 7 of us and took one of the private dining areas which is secluded from the main area! The decor is average but food is good. Worth a try
I have gone couple of times and have ordered food more than dozen times .I find their Chinese the best on Sohna Road. They should keep the good work going .With time their quality will spread thru word of mouth .
I have been here for couple of times in my trip to Gurgaon.

- Food tastes yummy, specially Hakka noodles that comes with combo.

Went here for a dinner party. Ambience is ok, just like another fine dining restaurant. The food is delicious , had chicken and paneer tikka and they were delicious.
For mains ordered daal and paneer , which were very good. Breads were too good. Lacha paratha, missi roti were delicious. Plain roti went hard after a few min so it could have been better.
The staff was courteous and service was very quick, probably because ours was the only group there.

We visited this place for a team lunch. Given its location in Vatika Business Park, it is clearly an advantage. The ambience of the restaurant is OK. Nothing which excites you - more of a restaurant next door. The menu covers a lot many options. So, that's a win for a large group. The food is good. We were in for a buffet and the arrangement was well-timed. We tried their speciality - paan ice-cream and that too, satisfied us.
So, overall, it is a very well positioned, easy-to-go-to restaurant which will give you a nice time.
The food was very good especially the Veg Tandoori Platter and Kashmiri Dum Aloo, ideal for Punjabi's. The quantity of Aloo was less in the dish but when we told the manager about that, he got us a portion of a special Paneer dish which was delicious. Overall, we had a great time. If anybody wants to have a get together of 15-20 people somewhere, this is a great option as the lunch buffet is around 600(including taxes).

I observed every moment minutely and am proud to say I loved every bit of the time spent there. The two hours dining experience has become one of my favourite experiences. This is an ideal place for family, friends and colleagues. There is an exclusive 6-seat family or partying section.
The seating is optimally designed that makes tables not too close thereby keeping your privacy intact. The building is no smoking zone. The music selection for the day was excellent. We had Virgin Mojito, Virgin Mary, Fruit Punch and Khus Lime Soda in mocktails. In soups, we had Chicken Yakhni Shorba. In starters, we had Nargisi Shami, Angara Tikka, Kasturi Fish Tikka, Achari Mushroom, Palak Bhutte ki Shami, Mutton Gilafi Kabab and Narangi Paneer Tikka. In the main course, we ordered for Dal Makhni, Paneer Khurchan, Chichen Awadhi Korma and Mutton Rogan Josh. Don’t forget to try Missi roti, warqui parantha and lachcha parantha; and chicken biryani. All was so yummy.

TSR is a nice cozy place tucked in a corner in vatika business park on sohna road. The food is really good. The dahi ke kabab were think. We tried the north Indian dal tadka n jalfrezi. The place has good ambience n very prompt service. Liked the place. Only let down is that i found the place slightly on costlier side. I would like to thank the manger for extending corporate discount though. Overall a good experience.

Awesome starters. Ordered veg and non veg platters and it was simply awesome. The waiters and chef were courteous and the taste was something which will definitely make me coming back again.
Wednesday afternoon, we decided to hit The spice room and we were 17 colleagues. The place is decent enough. The veg and non veg starters are really good, they also served shikanjvi/jaljeera along with the food which was refreshing. After having so many starters, we gorged on the main course, the dal was really good with the right amount of spices, I wished if the chicken korma would have been more spicier. Please save some space for firni and gulab jamun ;)

When Open Tap refused kids for dinner on a weekday, we ended up here. Went ahead with their sit down buffet. Buffet is reasonably priced at 699/- all inclusive for veg and 799/- for non-veg. One complimentary small vodka is also served with the buffet. I opted for veg and my husband non-veg. Limited menu but food tastes good, service was also good. Enjoyed veg biryani in mains & palak aloo tikki in starters the most. Husband complimented shammi kebabs and chicken curry.

Have been to this place thrice now Amazing place, strongly recommend the lunch dinner option which is a treasure at that price with 3 types of drink, starters, breads ( butter naan, Varki, Laccha paratha missi roti) gulkand ice cream , gulab jamun all unlimited. And above all the taste is fabulously different. The tomato shorba is fantastic and so also the shikanji and jal jeera. Strongly recommended

We planned on going for a lunch date on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We were reeeeaaaaly hungry so we went unplanned to vatika business park. Got confused between the nook, mad house and coriander leaf. Been to coriander leaf,the other two were a bit expensive. TSR had a good buffet deal so we took a chance and took the best table in the corner. The staff was sweet enough to give us a table for six only for two people. The service was amazing. Starters were sumptuous. Both veg n non veg were good. Main course was average. Please do save some space for gulab Jamuns.
Great food. great service. After lot of push to my office group we were finally at the TSR. My friends were little tentative about the place and food because of fixed menu buffet. but after the lunch we were extremely satisfied.

family gathering , I decided to go with their dinner buffet. Pretty decent food
and excellent service, staff is very courteous and understanding. The drinks
were good too. Reasonably priced buffets for dinner, wish they also had added a
mutton main course. The ambience is nice and the location is good. Strongly
recommend for family outings and corporate lunches / dinner. Good show guys.
This place is an absolute value for money. The staff is courteous and quick. Amritsari fish and galauti kebabs are must try. They serve gulukand icecream in desserts which is one of my favs here. In all a very decent place to go for a corporate or a lazy Sunday family brunch/ lunch
Having tried other places in Vatika Business Park we thought of giving it a shot. And we were not disappointed.
The food is nice and the ambience though good can use a bit of improvement. But the service was really good. It has a buffet as well, we didn't try that. Maybe next time.

Cocktails and Mocktails are too good.We loved their Dal and Murg shorbas. We tried most of their starters like Stuffed mushrooms, paneer tikka, Akbari khazana - nice baby potatoes done uniquely....Corn and spinach kebab....Phuljhari kebab ..Chicken tikkas....They serve all these in a platter format and also in buffet . I liked the Seekh ( Phuljhari)kebab and the mushrooms a lot. The varqi parantha...with the Dal TSR is too good....Their Hariyali Dal which is yellow Dal and spinach is also too good......The Murg biryani is good but Hyderabadi style and not Lucknawi.....The Drinks like kesari. ..Shandy and the strawberry margharita are awesome.....I loved the paan ice cream and the Gulab Jamun. ...All in all a real V.F.M. concept.....Cheers

A very good north Indian restaurant, serving fixed menu. The taste is very good, you actually feel the real taste of what is being served. Love the chicken tikka and biryani's they serve....tomato shorba is too good.

Went there for lunch day before. Served on the table, their buffet is absolutely spectacular. The Galauti Kebab was out of this world and resulted in re-ordering. The chicken and fish for starters were well cooked and absolutely sumptuous. For drinks, we had the Tomato Shorba and shikanji. Chicken Korma in the main course was to die for. The paneer in Shahi Paneer was extremely soft and melted in the mouth. The meal ended with gulab jamun, equally good.
No part of the entire experience let us down and for Rs. 499 per person, we could have not asked for a better meal!

There are unlimited buffets and then there is The Spice Room. Our work team went there today for an official lunch, considering they are conveniently located and can be reached on foot from our office. The lunch buffet is 499 all inclusive and frankly we were not expecting much at this price but boy were we in for a pleasant surprise. I have grown up in Lucknow and absolutely love awadhi cuisine, problem being there aren't any places that are able to replicate the exact flavor of the land of Nawabs. I was excited when a Tunday's outlet opened near my place but they are at best a compromise and nothing more. However, the chef here is a Lucknow native and man does he do magic! After tasting the Biryani, the authentic Lucknow taste-soft,tender and all the right spices just cooked right, at the risk of exaggerating it brought a tear to my eye. The galawati Kebabs so tender they melt right in your mouth, the feeling transported me back to when I was a 15 year old kid eating kebabs at Dainik Jagran Chauraha in Lucknow. Fish tikka so neatly done that my Bengali co-worker must have eaten 10 of those! I can go and on about the food and write 100 pages in its praise but the special mention also goes out to the Pan ice cream. If this ice cream goes out there it might as well put Baskin robbins out of business. Above and beyond the purely awesome food they have, the service is top notch. Quick, courteous, their servers seem like they are actually interested in serving you like a guest and not just getting through it like just another job. The ambience is great, seats are a bit uncomfy, but thats probably because I am a XXXL guy. I hope they add some mutton dishes to the roster, can't wait for the magic their chef does to them. Dear TSR, please do not change. Keep your prices the same, maintain the quality and the taste of the food (in other words never let your Chef go) and I am sure pretty soon people will be lining up at your door to be served just out of pure word of mouth. I have told my other coworkers, who would be visiting you soon. As for me, I am coming back tomorrow with my family.

The Spice Room is tucked into the Vatika Business center and i wouldnt have known of it otherwise if not for Zomato.
I went there with my family on a Thursday night and we were pretty much the only ones there, so the service was all for us. Very attentive servers, quick to get the ball rolling on service.
Really liked the concept of a fixed menu with a lot of variety for both veg and non. veg. We opted for the veg. buffet which was served on our table starting from the drinks till the dessert.
If you have ever been to Rajdhani...TSR is similar in concept except that you get served delicious North Indian/Mughlai food!
The starters were very nicely done. Loved the Paneer tikka and veg seekh.
For mains, i found the palak paneer and veg biryani absolutely lovely!
The desserts could have had some more options (maybe gulab jamun?) and the pan ice cream lacked the flavour of pan.

Finally a place near my office which is great for corporate lunch. With their huge fixed lunch they have easily become my favorite place on sohna road. Already had lunch there 3 times.
My favorite is the starter is dumpt Mushroom (considering i am a hardcore non veg). My other favorite is the khasta Roti it simply out of the world. Service is wonderfull and they take care of all your need. Hope to keep coming back.

TSR or The Spice Room is one of the newest outlets at Vatika Business Park, Gurgaon. The interesting aspect of visiting The Spice Room was on the table buffet service, a unique idea in modern fine dining. They only have buffet at a very reasonable cost. The ambiance is good and the seating arrangement is either on chairs or sofa. Their liquor license is pending and soon they would be running a full time bar including a range of mocktails. We reserved a table for 8. The business park gets crowded during lunch hours it is always advisable to book a table. The Lunch buffet has the same price for Veggies as well as Non-veggies!
The Buffet started with fresh fruits that included Watermelon, Papaya and Pineapple. The next course was of fresh vegetables including Tomato, Cucumber and Carrot. I think that the fruit and vegetables needs to be served throughout and not limited to the beginning of the meal. We then had an option to try either Chaas, the Indian classic homedrink or Aam Panna or Jaljeera. The Jaljeera was tangy and lightly spiced. The Aam Panna was sweet and tangy. The Chaas was fresh. We also had the Tomato Shobra, which was probably the best among all.
The starters had Palak Bhutte ki Shami, a superb preparation and goes really well with the fresh green chutney and Imli ki chutney. The Kebab just melted in the mouth as it was prepared with a lot of cashew nut. The Panner Tikka was another hit! We though missed having raw onions and lemons with that! The Bharwa Khumb were 2 mushroom cut in half and then filled with exotic dry fruits. The Khumb were as soft as silk. Delightful!
The main course had 3 curries like the Dal TSR, a modified and tastier Dal Makhani. There are only a few places where you can find this kind of taste and this one really knows how to make its Dal. The Dal was thick and the spice combination was remarkable. A must try! The Panner Tikka was usual and had soft panner cubes in a very fresh Palak gravy. The green spinach gravy was looked at a low temperature preserving the color and making it rich in flavor. The other item on the main course was Mix Veg Kalimirch. A unique combination of fresh vegetables was an irresistible combination. The freshness of the vegetables made all the difference.
TSR has a range of breads to choose from so we had a mixed bread basket. The Butter roti was soft and the other item to try was the Sheermal which comes straight from the kitchens of Lucknow. The Paratha styled bread goes well with all the curries. The Vegetable Biryani was also very flavorful and comes with a bowl of raita.
After a satisfying meal we still had left with Desserts. The Pan Ice Cream was delightful and I loved it so much that had to keep asking for more. A scoop of icecream in a cup is not enough! The Pan icecream had all the flavors of a complete Pan not just the betel leaf. If you haven’t had it, you’re missing an incredible item. The Moong Dal Halwa was a bit of a disappointment. The Halwa didn’t have the right amount of Ghee in it. Also the flavours were flat and tasted like a lot of flour had been added to it. The Firni was good and had a creamy texture. The meal ended with a handful of Indian condiments and mouth fresheners.
We also had Honey Lassi and Thandai as extra beverages. Both the items were delicious. The Lassi was unique in taste and the Thandai was delicious.
The service was quite sloppy and every now and then we had to remind the waiter to bring our order to the table. The waiters lacked experience which comes with years of practice. The value for money of the buffet is just out of the world!

A new addition to the restaurants at sohna is The Spice Room. For most working people a good meal at low prices is a necessity, This restaurant offers value for money food with great ambiance and service. The staff is energetic and attentive, you dnt have to wait long for your food. I went for lunch.
It follows a fixed price menu system and everything in the buffet from welcome drink to desert is served on the table.
Bar was not available as of now but soon will be added.
Coming to starters everything was great but i found the bharwa kumbh to be ok.
The main course was also good with the star being the biryani. It was really amazing. You can feel and determine the great quality of food just by looking at it.
For me the phirni(desert) was the most amazing thing. Eating it was a joy as it was a truely balance dish, one of the best i have had.
The overall experience was really great and i think that for the price they are asking, you get bang for the buck!!
Really looking forward to visit there again. I really hope they maintain their quality both in terms of food and service.
