Shree Rathnam provides the best south Indian cousine in a very ethnic way . I was really amazed with the utensils used by them . They give the feel of indian culture . I ordered rawa dosa and the dosa was just amazing . There are many outlets that provides very good dosa but shree rathnam provides the best environement to have the food. Overall good experience it was.
I found shree rathnam, quiet better then sagar ratna, southy and all. Dosa, chilly garlic crispy noodles, mysore dosa, and specially mysore pak are all toooo yumm...
Best dosa and best sambar, this place never disappoints and my favorite is rava masala dosa and ghee roast dosa. Also there mughlai food is very good
Its located in dt city center mall.
Now shree ratnam do not offer only south indian food they have north indian and chinese food also.
Had rava masala dosa and chilly paneer. Food was good and value for money.
Ordered one plate idli and one plate upma, though the quantity was limited of upma but it tastes fab..... sambar was also very tasty with its white coconut chutney.. highly recommendable
Good food, located on the same floor of PVR and although the ambience looks like the restaurant is expensive but trust me it goes with your pocket.
We ordered Dosa , Idli, Lemon Rice and Filter coffee. Loved everything. A must try restaurant.
Good food.I have tried there Masala Dosa and Filter coffee. The coffee was great and the Masala Dosa also was tasty. Also the staff was courteous.
Went out for dinner so had a mix of north and South Indian delicacies.
Ordered
Paneer butter masala 👍
Garlic naan & butter roti
Dahi vada👍
Idli Chaat 👍
Ghee roast dosa😋
I really enjoyed the food.
Quite a consistent joint, like all the other good southy chains.. service is non pretentious.. food is consistent.
The sweetened Dahi wada is a must have to start the meal..
Dosas -- fantastic !
Amazing South Indian food
And nice service with good seating capacity like any other good restaurant in Gurgaon or Delhi NCR................
This place has got almost 30 -40 seating capacity, food ordered was delivered fast, I like restaurants which serve sir ke wala pyaz, we ordered 3 things
Mutter mushroom, it was good
Paneer lababdar - ok ok, quantity was less as compared to price of above 200
Ghar ki daal - food had great taste
Over all I thought restaurant will be cheap but it was expensive compared to the quantity of food, for 2 people 1 portion of sabzi is not enough, The restaurant should increase it's quantity if it has to survive
I've eaten quite a few dishes here from various cuisines. Let's just say, it's jack of all trades, master of none. Ambience is average, service is alright.
Quite satisfied! Had navratri idli with aloo korma and sabudana tikki with peanut chutney. The flavors were top of the world and the quantity was enough to satiate a hungry foodie. I think they only need to improve on their cutlery part to make themselves more interesting.
My best place for dosa so far..they have really good assortment of variety in dosa.taste that is not so common and quality is really good..sambar is so yummy..my favorite is maharaja dosa..a definitely recommend
Looking for South Indian food, I placed an order with Shree Rathnam. The staff was helpful and the food was delivered on time. Idlis can be little more soft otherwise everything went really good.
I really liked the Rava Masala Dosa, well cooked nicely presented, sambar was amazing. Its a must try if u like south indian food.Even the plain uttapam was so delicious, cant resist.
But 1 thing, i didnt like was water, they need to improve their RO services.
Good staff good food .

Went to this place as we were coming out of PVR. We chose this place as both of us wanted to have something not too heavy and the place looked calm, serene and wasn't crowded at all.
The place is done in simple decors and simplicity oozes out of all aspects of this place. We ordered a plate of sambar idli, sambar vada and Mysore plain dosa first. It hardly took 5-10 for all of it to arrive. The portions were good i.e. size of idli was good, vada was small in size but 4 in number and Mysore plain dosa was also good in size. Taste wise all of it was very good. Idli was really really soft and kind of melt in your mouth types. Vada was fresh, hot, not at all oily and Mysore plain dosa also tasted good. They had served 3 types of chutneys and sambar was served in many small katoris. We reordered Mysore plain dosa. In the end we finished with filter coffee.
Over all the experience was good and my rating would have been higher if not for one thing. When I order sambar vada or idli vada I expect a bigger utensil to be served in so that I can immerse vada / idli in sambar and have it.
In the end when it came to pay the bill, I chose to pay through PayTm and the restaurant actually insisted that I pay the original amount which was in decimal and not the rounded off amount which was higher. It was a very small gesture but it did leave a positive impression about the staff and management for us. Will definitely go again.
Our experience at this restaurant was very good. The food was exceptional, service was good and I would definitely recommend this branch. recommended
Good south Indian food. A tad expensive considering it is a typical layout.
Love the Rasam with Papad. Idlis are soft and you can top off your meal with a steaming hot Filter coffee.
Its like a canteen. Its not fancy but the food is fairly good.
I went there yesterday with my friend. We were hungry and had a brunch there. We ordered 2 dhosa. Onion Rawa Masala Dhosa which is a crispy one. I love the taste of it. 2nd one was Spring Dhosa. Another ultimate masterpiece. A dhosa with sambhar with taste of spring roll. Sambhar was sooooo tasty as always. All I want to say if you want to eat good at an affordable price then you must try them.
Superbly impressed by the dosas, wada sambar and uttapam. Gurgaon is surely closing the gap with other places like Mumbai in having quality South Indian joints.
Decent place for a quick bite. Not the best for south Indian but nothing to complain about either. Dahi vada not as great as other south Indian restaurants. Try the onion Rava masala and onion uttapam.
Service is great.
A nice place with a quiet ambience and good quality food. Cleanliness was quiet on the higher side. Liked the taste but some items need to be improvised as the curd rice was not according by taste but overall the food was good. Ordered paneer pasanda and paneer lababdar with butter roti and sambhar rice and curd rice, watermelon juice and buttermilk from the beverage section...
Surprisingly the food was good on this outlet. I do have not so good experience with other outlets they have in NCR. We did ordered chilly paneer dry which is very good. I had the best mushroom curry till this time in a veg restaurant. Service is good and price is as usual at high side due to the location.
Visited 2nd time again after watching movie.
Dosas are their signature dishes so that's what I ordered. Paneer dosa was awesome mouth watering. specially that Onion tomato chatni for which I always visits other outlets of this food chain.
rating based on service, ambience, food quality & rates
Average place with pretty tasty food. Located in DT city centre mall in Gurugram at top floor. Its a normal restaurant with not much fuss over styling and things but a place where you can quench your hunger. The service is quick and food is very homely. I have been here multiple times and all cuisines mentioned in menu are very good. The other positive is that its not expensive and will fit to any normal pocket. Food is what one should go for all while other factors if you are looking for will be a let down. However having said that each individual has its own taste so my review can vary from others.
Its a fine place to eat.
South indian and North indian food, both tastes amazing.
Plus the navratri thali was delicious too.
Its always crowded but service is fast.
Do visit if you want to have some tasty food.
After watching a movie, we came to this place for a quick hunger solution. DT city centre mall had a very few options and thus we decided to go for a known brand rather than spoiling our appetite with bad food.
It is situated on the 2nd floor and has the same look and feel like the other ones, a silent and a decent place. The menu had North Indian and Chinese options too apart from their signature South Indian dishes. We decided to order a Vegetarian fixed Thali which had 4 pooris, rice, flavored rice, dal, two vegetables, sambar, rasam, curd, butter milk, sweet, papad & pickle. I know its quite a lot!
The order came in a short while (The place had just one more table occupied apart from us). The thali was huge and beautifully decorated with small bowls on all sides. All the items were prepared nicely and I enjoyed the heavy meal with my friend. Rasam, sambar and the vegetable was quite good. Liked the butter milk and sweet.
The service is nice. Order came in within a short span of time. The staff was able to handle the small crowd as only two tables were occupied at that moment.
---> Overall, Shree Rathnam is still a decent place for south Indian food as well as the other cuisines too.
Good place, good food, served hot ......staff is attentive and courteous. Value for money and specially no waiting does not irritate at all like several restaurants in Gurgaon. South Indian food is awesome
This has been a family favourite for years. We have had big meals and the food is awesome every time. The service is great. The waiters are always nice to tell you when things will take longer. Because there is a fresh batch of rasam on the stove! Now who can complain. Happy to come back anytime.
Well ..it's quite a surprise that such an authentic place has relatively subdued ratings on this platform. I have been to this place over a dozen times and find it quite a leader in their signature south Indian cuisine. They are not quite the ivy league of Sarvana Bhawan or Navedeyam but not far away either. It's like a Dhoni playing in the shadows of Sachins and Dravids in the playground. To begin with, it offers a wide spread of South Indian, North Indian and Chinese cuisine. Safe to say that they specialize in South Indian dishes and hence should be your first priority. It's very good value for money ( a meal for 4 costs around 1k!) . Dosas,Rasam, starters all make for a good choice. The thali too is decent option. If you live in Gurgaon, don't want to travel to Delhi for satisfying your South Indian hunger pangs, look no further.. Shree Rathnam is a little gem of a place !
The low ratings of a beautiful place like this is a shock to me.
I visited this place over lunch. The staff is courteous and warm. The food is awessssome! It's a delight to have impeccable south indian food like the one served here.
I ordered mix uttapam and onion rawa masala dosa. The red chutney and the coconut chutney were prepared well. The sambhar was as delicious as it could be!
The filter coffee delightfully completed the meal.
Loved the food and service and looking forward to a pay a visit again. :)
A good place for a quick south indian meal!
Located in DLF City Center mall on MG Road, Gurgaon, this is a nice place to get your standard Idli, Vada and Dosas. Their Rava Idli is a must try - with the potato curry and the ghee. Also ask the waiter to get you some gunpowder - it goes really well with the rava idli.
The onion rava masala dosa is a good one to have from the dosas.
Service is quick and courteous.
This was my second visit to this restaurant. I went with my Friends for shopping in the same mall. From my last bad experience of ambiance and slow service i did not want to go shree rathnam again but all of my friends are Dosa's lovers so we decided to go there. I was expected the same dull ambiance and slow service but i was wrong, it was quite improved.
The Restaurant was little crowded because of weekend I think but we had managed to take our table. We ordered Paper masala dosa, Onion Rawa masala dosa, Uthapams and Fresh watermelon juice. This time i must say their service was quite impressive. We did not wait much. Onion Rawa Masala Dosa was the best thing. I ordered extra sambhar two times and they brought it in a good quantity.
Overall it was a good experience. Good Luck!!
Today I ordered.. Paneer Lahori and Bhindi Masala along with Garlic Naan.. to chk if they serve north Indian food as good as Southy.. but yes they did swiped me off.. it was really amazing.. and ended my dinner with Jaljeera drink. all this accompanied with old songs karaoke. Thumbs up to all...
Place is good and ambiance is also ok. A must try family restaurant. Service is pretty cool. Food is also delicious. Must try stuffed capsicum once.
Nice place, nice and simple vegetarian food. Need to be early to find decent place to sit.
Dosas are good, so are the north Indian food menu items.
Should try out if just looking for calm lunch or dinner experience after movie.
Amazing place to be specially if you are looking for quick service. Went there between a movie interval and guess what ... We were able to get into to he theatre before it started. Obviously we also ate fast...
Staff Santosh here is faster than your imagination.
Undoubtedly food is good and worth the money paid. Must say you'll feel great here.
Definitely planning to visit again and try other things.
I m a regular at this eatery. This is the safest bet when it comes to south indian food. The idli, sambhar and chutney platter is my favourite here. Shree rathnam never goes wrong with their sambhar and coconut chutney; absolutely lip smacking stuff. Another favourite of mine here is the kulfi. It is to die for. I usually reserve one before having my main course since they usually exhaust the kulfi stock very early in the evening.
I happen to visit this place per chance . I liked the dosa and coffee at this place > not a good place to eat north indian delicacies ..
place is empty on weekdays ...
Awesome place to enjoy different vegetarian food under one roof with family & friends.
Decent food. Great taste. Service was quick. Staff was friendly. The quantity of food was good. Chutneys were yummy. A thumbs up for this restaurant :)
This place is next to the mojo club where previously there used to be sagar ratna..
After watching a movie we thought of going to the place as it was good heard about it a lot.
Ordered mix uptapam, gobhi masala & breads... Food was good tasted even better..all under 700 rupees.
Service was the only sour point as our food was served after 15 minutes..
A very nice south Indian joint, they serve amazing dosas and filter coffee. Butter dosa, shree ratnam spcl dosa is a must try. I also liked a south Indian desert called Bhasundi.
I had dosa there. It was really very tasty. Ambience of the restaurant was very peaceful and soothing. Service and price were good.
Above average place with above average food. To begin with, this place could use renovation. The interior of this place is extremely gloomy and unexciting. The place can surely make you feel lazy. I usually order mushroom or paneer curries along with roti. And every single time the food leaves both my mind and tummy satisfied. When it comes to food, I have looked upon at this place a safe option, non-fancy bit safe. A choice with which you can never go wrong.
What automatically pulled me towards this place was the awesome smell of sambhar while just strolling in the mall.
I dine out at Shree Rathnam quite often and I have to admit - while I just love the authentic South Indian offered by this chain, when it comes to North Indian and Chinese the taste might vary depending on the franchise you are dining in. So maybe your safest BET - " STICK TO SOUTH INDIAN".
Their dosas are really crisp and delicious and I am fan of all their chutneys.. The coconut chutney served n the restaurant brings my taste buds alive, freshly grounded coconuts and so is the case with the green chutney..
Everything this place serves w.r.t. South Indian cuisine is my favourite. The place also serves amazing coffee and lime sodas.
Dont know why people have given this place a bad rating. Is a south Indian place mainly for dosas and all. I wouldn't suggest eating BIRYANI here like what other folks have mentioned. I always stick to the rawa DOA, wadai and coffee. Probably the only authentic and comparatively cheap South india place in ggn.

Very nice food...and reasonable as well...guess its the only place where one can think of having good food in DT city center mall...
Service and food preparation is like instant..u order and its on your table within 5 mins....
visited for a quick lunch with my wife to this outlet earlier known as Sagar Ratna don't know why they change d the branding here. ordered masala dosa, butter milk and curd rice.Masala dosa was crisp and nice but I feel the coconut chutney can be improved.Sambar was good.Like the red and green chutney they serve in the beginning.Curd rice was too cold for a winter and with the tadka and papad and pickle it was nice.Cant figure out but something was missing I guess the tadka was less that is put on top.Butter milk was excellent.
In the end had to specifically ask for the warm water with lemon slices to clean my hands even though the bill was on the table and up for swipe.I think they can bring the swipe machine on the table to put the pin number instead of calling the customer. Then I noticed a error in the bill the wong item had been charged to me due to poor handwriting of the order taker.I had to ask back for the differential which they did without the taxes levied.I think overall its fine but need more visits to give a full verdict.
This is the 5th time I've been to Shree Ratnam (MG Road), and as always really enjoyed the experience. The food, which is almost always either one of the dosas or their chowmein, was really nice and filling. Will try something different next time. I like the way the server brings the different chutneys in the beginning. I really like the green chilli + coconut chutney and the red one, which i have no idea what it's made of. For a plate of Mysore Paneer Rawa Dosa + Veg Spring Rolls i paid Rs.400, and it was worth it. The sambhar was just perfect, and it keeps coming. I really like the service, though on certain days it does get quite busy and you are left waiting for quite some time.
Located at 2nd floor of City Centre Mall Gurugram. This restaurant provided quality South Indian food.
We recently visited here and tried Masala dosa, Dahi vada and kulfi in sweet.
Masala dosa was crispy and aloo stuffing was very well cooked. Along with masala dosa variety of chutney (coconut, mint and tomato) and sambar was served.
Dahi vada was refreshing, but quality can be more.
Staff was very professional and attended us very well.
Overall great place to enjoy South Indian cuisine.
It is great place to enjoy South Indian cuisine and we love idali chat and paneer dosa.
Sagar ratna is the best if u love south indian food and they never disappoint. The taste the food all are just amazing.
Masala dosa was top notch and with that small idli with sambar yummmm😘
Loved the decor. Loved the food. Loved the atmosphere.
Overall had this type of yumm south indian after a long time.

Both North Indian and South Indian are good
Palak paneer was too good
Paneer tikka was just ok
Dosa and chutnies were great
Service fast
Neat and clean
Had busted number of times and will visit again too
Nice food. Good service. Ample parking at the mall. Good ambience. North Indian South Indian cuisines both good.
The ambience is very good. The food quality is yummy and fresh. Staff is active and friendly.
We love podi ghee masala dosa and chilly garlic ginger chowmien. 😊
My relationship with this brand has lasted more than 20 years, yet I have rarely been disappointed.
Their food is fresh, delicious, authentic, and cooked very well. Even their North Indian and Chinese dishes are top-notch.
The restaurant's take on the 'Mushroom Masala' dish was so unexpected that I had nothing but praises. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection, and the 'masala' in the dish actually referred to its dry gravy prepared in mild spices that really tasted as if home-cooked, and not like a spice-heavy, overpowering gravy. Reasonable prices, too.
This place provides the best comfort food. South Indian options are great. I always have the sambar vada or the dahi vada. It's refreshing.
Try the sizzlers too. You will like it.
