Chicken Tikka masala was fabulous worth wait of half and hour. I don't know why are they soo slow.

Place is huge and has ACs all over the place but apparently they are not effective. Food was average. Breads were soft and flavourful. Chicken handi was again tasty but a little dry.

punjabi dhani is a very nice outlet giving you a proper punjabi feel. you would fell awesome as soon as you enter the place. i visited this place with my friends and had a good time . we had ordered blue diamond and virgin mojito in drinks and they were good,later we ordered honey chilli potatoes and veg hakka noodles and it was tasty and spicy enough.

They have got a good chef for palak paneer. the paneer was soft and good in quantity, even the whole dish was enough for two people.could have given 5 star if the breads were good.need to work on breads.

Ordered mutton Kharode da shorba via Swiggy. Packaging was really good. Even though it is far and the delivery took time but the food was hot and fresh. The taste was really good. Tender and juicy bits inside the shorba made it really amazing.

This time I was taken for a pleasant surprise....
I planned the visit.
I had booked a table over the call and was informed the best time to come would be 8 in the evening as it's not crowded.I also enquired for the entertainers as this visit was all about them. I was taking my family..there.
These performers actually build the ambience especially when it comes to Bollywood classics. It's an ideal place to take your Mum and Dad. The live music is soothing and the performers are very friendly.. I would go to this place again just for the music....
There are birthday songs for celebration, they also dedicate songs on your request...
What was different this time was that food was great...!
Starters, main course...we're lovely..though we gave desserts a skip....
The service was timely, staff humble, the ambience lively....

Punjabi Dhani is one of the restaurants which will give you the feels of our Punjab.
I tried:
Dahi kebab: They were good. Was expecting it to be the tastiest but unfortunately it didn’t match to my expectations.
Chilly Chicken: It was more than good. It lacks the most important thing of chilling chicken i.e. crispiness.
You all can give one try to this restaurant. And the way they they serve sugar coated fennel(saunf) was very unique and cool.
It is a good place to dine in with your family an friends. I visited their with my family and liked the place.

This place is super awesome ... Dal makhani simmered in creamy gravy sauteed with tomato onions and mild spices is love ..... I suggest you to try kadai panner nd malai kofta with butter naan ... I could not found a good taste in its fried ice cream nd rest its place nd staff is also good.

Finally got the perfect north Indian restaurant to binge on. This place will make you feel like you're in Punjab. Decorated with dhols, and other authentic musical instruments, this is definitely a very different and unique approach. Sharing my food experience:
Soups: Had Tomato Dhaniya Shorba and Desi Murge ka Shorba, and trust me they were really nice. Having soups before the meal does the same work as appertiff. I really liked desi murge ka shorba as it was rich in flavor. Would recommend tomato shorba to every vegan visiting here.
Chicken Afgani: Loved the presentation of the dish. The chicken was perfectly cooked and had all the flavors. Specially the leg piece was delicate, as most of the restaurants don't pay emphasis on leg and just cook the whole chicken to the extent when the meat becomes tender. As a result, the leg piece looses it's true flavor. But thankfully, this was not the case. Highly recommended.
Crispy Corn Salt n Pepper: For veg appetizers, we opted for the Chinese corn. They were crispy and tangy to leave a very nice flavor.
Malai Paneer Tikka: For the paneer lovers, the paneer tikka was fabulous. The tandoori flavor can be felt from the serving when the smokes are visible. Just a delight for the veg lovers, highly recommended!
Dal Makhni, For veg main course, we ordered the dhani special dal makhni. The gravy was full of cream, hence the flavors got rich and delicious. Perfect dal, reminded of my home. Highly recommended.
Kadhai Paneer: The paneer gravy we opted for was the kadhai paneer. Being a non veg, I often don't eat veg dishes. But this took my heart away. The dish was presented beautifully. The gravy was thick and flavors of bellpeppers can be felt but only paneer was visible, meaning that the chef was experienced and has perfected the art of north indian cooking.
Butter chicken: My favorite part where I get to eat the chicken. This time we opted for butter chicken as again it was the special offering. The butter gravy was rich and loved the presentation. Chicken was also perfectly cooked. Value for money and highly recommended.
Breads: We opted for a variety of breads, which included Lachha Paratha, Garlic Naan, but it was Ajwaain ke paraathe that made the gravy worth it. It complemented the dishes peefectly and was also cooked nicely.
Gulab Jamun: You'll get surprised to see how the gulab jamun were served. The Gulaab Jamun tasted extremely light and sweet. It was hot and soft which enhanced tge flavor. Highly recommended!
Gulkand Kheer: The special Kheer was our second dessert of the night. Beautifully cooked, you can feel the gulkand flavor in the kheer. Just perfect.
Overall awesome place to have authentic north indian food.

The palace like entrance with some antique wall decor, this place has an aura of ancient India attached to it. One can simply feel the conservative medieval India in this aesthetic restaurant. I love the slow music which perfectly resonates the ambience.
Coming to the food, it makes you feel like a North Indian home.
Paneer tikka - Excellently marinated large juicy chunks of paneer melts in our mouth.
Chicken afghani - The perfect Punjabi cuisine which gives just the perfect start to our dinner.
Kadhai paneer - The numerous fried onions covering the white paneer are a treat to eat.
Phirni - The exotic dessert with dry fruits sprinkled on top is the perfect ending to our sumptuous dinner.
A complete Punjab village theme based restaurant in old gurgaon. Its has amazing interiors giving you complete village feels.
I went for a dinner. It was very crowded that day due to which the service was very slow. We had to wait for almost 20 minutes just to place an order. Eventually resulting in slow service for the order placed.
I ordered-
1) Chilli Chicken: It was well cooked. It can be more crisp and spicy. May be due to large orders the taste was bit affected. Ratings: 4/5
2) Dahi ke Sholey- It was crisp and tasty. Ratings: 4/5
3) Dal Makhani: It wasn’t that great. A bit sweeter due to lots of cream on it. Ratings: 3/5
4) Kadhai Paneer: It was okay not that great again. Ratings: 3.5/5
5) Butter Chicken: I loved the butter chicken. Quantity was good. Ratings: 4/5

The overall ambience was good, affordable pricing, good food(not too good), service was nice too, but desserts 👎, and also the music was bit loud we were not able to talk to each other without raising our voices.
Visited few weeks back. Ambience is nice and the concept is new as no one servers complimentary chips any where in Old Gurgaon. Live gazal works like a charm after a hectic workout. However, they need to work out on their cuisines part. Webl ordered rice , one paneer dish and Khatti dal. Expect Rice, nothing was upto the mark. Khatti dal was normal yellow dal with no hint of khattapan.
Service part also needs improvement. Not a great place but opening a typical theme restaurant in Old Gurgaon is a brave attempt and I really appreciate the owner.

Food quality was average. Matka kulfi was amazing. You must try this. Ambience and live music was good. I requested a song of kishore da and he sung that pretty well. Good option to try out.

Yesterday was my birthday, so i decided to go out for dinner with my family. For this I chose Punjabi Dhani. As this is near to my house.As we entered the restaurant, we found punjabi atmosphere...chowki,puppet, horn,charpai,old fashioned plug,well etc.
There we ordered sweet corn pepper and paneer tikka in snack alongwith tomato soup. The quality and quantity of sweet corn was superb.They were roasted.Taste was really nice.Cheese of paneer tikka was very soft. Both items were served beautifully.Now it was turn of main couse, we ordered dal makhani , panner lababdaar and naan.All were delicious.We also got aachar, onion, green chutney papad as complementry.After completion of food we got mouth-freshner in punjabi style.
Live music was also there. It enhanced the taste of food.
Service was proper.
After my this experience, i will recommend everyone to visit here and try some eatables.

We had lunch here. One of the very few good places around this area. We had nonveg platter and it tastes superb. After that we had daal fry with tandoori butter roti. And this combination was also good in taste. Ambience is dimly light with ample sitting space (some 50+ i think). Yes, there was arrangements for live ghazal/singer. May be they organise this on specific day n time. Hospitality was also satisfactory. There is ample room for improvement in restrooms though. I hope that they too are listening. Costs around Rs. 400-500 per person (excluding dessert). Pictures attached are not so clear due to very low light in the sitting area. This place is at first floor and no lift is there. Not suitable for handicap.

Yesterday evening i had a dinner with my family & friends in Punjabi Dhani ,It was unexpected to have this kind of ambience, decoration & specially live gazals & Songs as per costumer taste, Kids had a great Fun.

i visited at my birthday..nice & beautiful place to visit..but some thing should be change like as -tandoori roti cost 20 Rs +tax, and we ordered half plate of Mutton ( as per my own experience 4 Pics should be there) but they searve only three..i dont know why..over all good place to go in old delhi road gurgaon..for music lover it is definitely must visit place

Well i been there with my family for the occasion of celebrating my parents anniversary on 30 june . Its located in old railway road near aryan hospital, gurgaon.
Its a last minute call for dine out for party , so one of my friend suggested this restaurant because of its punjabi ambience and food .
Well we reached there with my family around 8.30 , from outside the place is just similar to any other restaurant . Then we saw the interior of the restaurant was quite nice , the punjabi ambience was good and wooden touch also . The place was crowded just because on that day many birthdays and anniversaries was celebrated there. Bcoz of crowd there a.c's was not working properly , the staff was very friendly but the service was little late too .
They so had a gazal singer , they sung for the peoples who celebrating the birthdays and anniversaries, so finally we cut the cake and they sung the song for my parents .
Then we trying to order some food ,so we start from starters like dahi ke bhalle , spring rolls and honey chilli potato. The food was well served and quite nice with sausage .
In meal we ordered the daal makhni , paneer butter masala , kadhai paneer , mix veg raita , boondi raita and butter naan . The food was delicious and well served by the waiters.
The place is quite good for dine out with family and friends . I'll recommend this place .

One of the best place available for family dining, overall had a good experience in tasting “Panjabi Food” with live music which made a day more enjoyable there. Must visit, during weekends nights little bit crowded but service is always comical. Kudos to service staff for making wonderful & enjoyable experience at all.
It was an immensely beautiful experience. The live music singer there, sings your choice of songs or as per the occasion you've come for. The food was delicious and the service staff was very welcoming. The prices overall were adequate.

Food was good and there was live music too. You can enjoy your dinner with old songs and can request your song to play too.

A decent restaurant to spend time with family and have good food. I'm from Delhi and was craving for good north Indian food in Gurgaon but this place was able to meet my expectations. Dont expect toooo much, but if u want to have good food whilst sitting in an AC hall, with good crowd and music, this is one of the recommended places. Average Vibes though.
