Junoon has been our go-to-place for a long time now. In a city where there's either a pub or a mall, Junoon is a bliss. With the peaceful ambience, the coke studio music, great food and one of the best LIITs that you could possibly get, Junoon is the perfect place to visit with friends if you want to relax, enjoy and talk.
Junoon has really good food. I dine in today and it was totally vacant but that maybe because of Rakhi occasion. But I really liked the behaviour of the manager and the Kashmiri food is also good. They have good ambiance too.

Great place to enjoy some authentic Kashmiri cuisine. Went to celebrate Dad's birthday and tried the mutton dishes for both starters and main course and was not disappointed. (Rista and lahobi kebab)

My friend and I were in a mood to try some traditional Indian food therefore we chose the Kashmiri cuisine. Junoon happened to be our pick for the same and it was a lavish experience to summarise it.
Situated on the second floor, Junoon is located in the Baani Square area. They have a grass carpet on the outside and upon entering they have set the bar area right in front of the entrance. The tables put up are as per a fine dine scenario, white marble topped with wooden shade mats and red wipers. The chairs are mostly without a proper back support but cushioned to support the arches. The area is well lit with natural sunlight and they have a piece of crockery with some water falling off it in a vertical manner.
Now instead of going on for the regular food, we tried their Kashmiri dishes. Beginning with the starters, we tried the Mutton Seekh Kebab and their Tabak Maaz first.
Seekh Kebab: The Seekh Kebab were really plain and simple. They just took the meat, grinded it, put it up on the seekh and give it a shallow spiced marinate which gives it some flavour and thereafter just cook it. Their recipe of Seekh Kebabs is void of any ginger garlic or onions within the dish itself. The meat tends to be a little hard that is probably because they use no curd while preparing the food. The Seekh Kebabs were great with a light flavour, if you sprinkle some lemon juice on top, it gives it a nice taste.
Tabak Maaz: Tabak Maaz was their preparation of mutton ribs. They took the ribs and simply fried them. The meat was hard, scorching it out of the ribs was definitely a task but the dish felt really complete. They serve the same with rice and the main feature of the dish is that they serve it natural meat fat. The meat fat predominates the texture and the hardness of the dish so it's more of a layered fat dish. The taste is ecstatic.
After the starters, we moved onto the main course. For main course, we tried the Gushtaba, their Rogan Josh and their Rista with steamed rice.
Rista: They hammer the fresh meat, make it into meatballs, take the balls and cook them in a saffron flavoured curry. The dish is mainly oriented with a subtly tangy flavour that is balanced with soberly added spices. Saffron happens to add aroma to the dish.
Gushtaba: The Gushtaba happens to include the same meatballs and cooked in a sour curd gravy which is generally oil based. Curd happens to be the dominant flavour agent for the same.
Rogan Josh: The Mutton Rogan Josh was their speciality, they said it's just mutton spine meat and nothing besides that. The dish was not spicy, but it did have a lot of masalas. The meat was cooked to proper softness and the quantity of oil in the dish was less which I do appreciate.
For drinks, I'd recommend their Ultimate Passion Mocktail which is mainly passion fruit with cranberry and orange juice. Their whisky sour is also a good drink, they keep it really subtle, the drink was very well balanced.
In a nutshell to conclude, the place is a good one to try out some Kashmiri food. The food is mostly not spicy but well spiced with masalas. The drinks are consistent from top to bottom. They did justice to their preparations.

8 of us went for dinner on Saturday and we were so happy (Yes, each one of us).
First impression once you get in: Luxuriously done and the ambience really makes you feel that you are in a fine dining restaurant.
What did we order:
Veg Galouti: Very nice in taste and good in quantity. We could easily share it between 4 people.
Dal Makhani: Never seen so much quantity before in 1 portion and the taste was very good once again. Also not very heavy in stomach.
Mix Veg: Good in taste
Paneer Chaman: This for me was the star on the table. Loved how the Paneer was cut in a different manner (kashmiri style) and the taste was bang on. I could have easily finished this by myself.
Dum Aloo: Again a very good dish. Appreciate how the potato was cooked in gravy and not just thrown in (a lot of restaurants do that).
What I appreciated more is how courteous their staff was and how they know each dish inside out. It was a treat to be honest.
Big screen playing and showing Coke studio was another mood elevator.
The fact that this is the only Bar in Baani Square makes it extra special.

Decent place placed on 2nd floor of Baani Square . This is the only place in Baani Square which serves alcohol . Its difficult to find as lifts are scary and its bit outplaced as most of eating outlets are on ground floor. The place is nicely done up , seating is comfortable, music is a bit too loud and told them to reduce the volume a which they did.. We ordered for a whiskey and bloody Mary--.Drinks were good and ordered for Kadhai Paneer .. Was not disappointed

Junoon bar and kitchen is one and only bar in Baani square, located second floor in front side. The ambiance is very beautiful, everything was nicely managed and proper arranged. Staff was welcoming and service was super fast.

Why go anywhere else? Food is beyond excellent if you’re a non-vegetarian. The taste is just awesome. The quality is superb with reasonable price and good services.
The ambience is extremely soothing. You can easily have a romantic evening here. The staff is very polite and courteous. They do take pains in ensuring the patrons are getting the best service and food.
Talking about food, we ordered rista, steamed rice, mixed veg and roti. The food was cooked well and the mixed veg was customized as per my request.
However considering a restaurant promoting their kashmiri menu, the spices could have been better. One of the better options for Kasmiri menu in the area.

Located on the 2nd floor of Bani Square, this place is a Kashmiri heaven. The ambience is beautiful with the best Sufi music playing in the background.
The food is outstanding and I vouch for the galouti kebabs, amrtisari fish tikka & saag meat. The rishtey were cooked to perfection which is a Kashmiri lamb delicacy and very rare to find.

This place has been on my list for some time but because the hub where it is located has so many options, I kept procrastinating. I finally made it and it was a pleasant experience. Ordered a soya chap masala and a butter naan. Requested that naan be made crisp and it was very well done. Soya chaap was well marinated. Staff was nice and polite. Overall, a good experience. Would surely visit again to try more on the menu!!

This is a much needed addition to the recently booming Kashimiri cuisine eateries in Delhi NCR. Junoon gets everything right. From the refurbished decor, to the folksy music and most importantly, the food. The Wazwaan they served was the best in this town. Both Tabak Maz and Rista were delectable. We tried a couple of Indian starters as well which were quite nice. However, dont miss the Kashmiri part of the menu for anything else. Will be back soon

Newly opened restaurant in Gurgaon sector 50. Got to know about this place from the zomato and planned to try this new place with my friends. And we also heard about that its specialty is Kashmiri cuisine. A really great place for dining and having some short get togethers. A very spacious place and it's ambience is also very great as it also provides live screening.
And now coming to the food we were really excited about having some great Kashmiri dishes so we started with some Kashmiri wazwan like mutton seekh kebab and Rogan Josh. They both were I think the best. And also ordered some other dishes like Afghani murgh, chicken lollipop along with some mocktails and cocktails. And in main course got chicken tikka masala and diwani handi mutton along with rice and breads.
Then after this time for some desserts so got phirni which was yummy.
A really great place to spend some quality time. Definitely gonna visit again.
I have recently visited the junoon bar & kitchen .its an great experience there . Its a place where you get everything according to your taste . Ambiance is really good and unique from others . In terms of taste , quality and quantity everythings is quite osum seriously .According to the price the quality of food match the price . This is a place where you’ll get kashmiri cuisines. As i am quite fond of this so i’ll got the best place . The dining is reallt cool and this bar have a lot of space in it . Good to go there talking about the food i have tasted rista :i have tasted it first in my life and i really enjoyed it. Tabak Maaz is good in taste really. And the green salad the presentation is really good . This also holds a bar in it where you’ll get the varieties of wines and cocktails . The Non-Veg Platter was an beautiful mix of tandoori dishes which were fabulously marinated and perfectly roasted. The succulent meats were a delight to have!

Everything in the platter was prepared with equal effort, well marinated and aptly balanced with spices.

Inspirational signage from the road would lead you to this small resto pub! It offers an wholesome drinking and food experiences.
The bar provides many choices - from all kinds of liquors, liqueurs, beers and ambitious cocktails/ mocktails. Presentation of the drinks is the key and concoctions tastes better than average. Try the ginger beer margherita incase you're a fan of beer! Or probably have the 2 Good or Whisky Smash to take it to the next level of being tipsy!
Like the drinks, food choices are also too cumbersome. Flavor has been premeditated into - tandoori, street (tawa fry) and north Indian style of cooking.Some of their tawa fries goes well along with the drinks. Savor on Chicken balls, chicken bhuna pav & mutton bhuna that clearly stands out amongst the rest of options which are many. Tandoori stuff is way better than the fried due to the presence of a tad bit of oil. In main course, Paneer hara pyaza is a bit different from the rest of the clutter available in the neighborhood. In case you are a fan of spring onions, you are surely to like this blend. In non veg and probably one of the best dish I had was the Koyla Dum Chicken Rara - slow cooked chicken and chicken mince with mix of right amount of spices!!!
