AS Zomato dont allow to share 2nd review for any place so I am adding my experience on this.
Last month when I was in Gurgaon and we wanted to order something typical Punjabi for dinner and that should be not too heavy on pocket too,and finally we ordered from Dil E Amritsar.Our order was small ,butter chicken,Dal fry and Garlic Naan, order arrive on time, around 45 min and was hot,butter chicken was excellent, recommended and Dal fry was good,Nan was good not chewy type.Overall I am still impressed by Dil E Amritsar and can recommend if some one searching for typical Punjabi Dhaba style food for home delivery or take a way.

Visited yesterday night,we were searching for some Dhaba type punjabi food .Situated just infront of Good earth mall which have many restaurant.This place is mainly a take away/delivery outlet with few table spread in open.Certainly other than winter you can not visit for lunch.If searching for place with ambience then this is not for your but if for punjabi food then it is.The owner himself is very courteous and cheerful person.We reachd around half past 10 ,we ordered Garlic tikka as suggested by the owner and it was good.After that ordered Tawa mutton and garlic naan,Tawa mutton was pick of the day,cooked in desi ghee with spicy thick greavy,great combination with garlic naan.Now this place is added in my list of places to get home delivery (may not visit for dinning).
Hands down, the best chicken tikka biryani I've had. We've been ordering their Biryani (mostly) and other food for almost 4 years now, and it's an absolute hit with everyone who tries it. It's very different from a Hyderabadi or Lucknowi biryani, and they can even alter the spice level as per your taste palette. Double thumbs up!
Lovely food..bang opposite good earth mall near sushant lok 2..good in taste..need to work on ambience and they need highlight them more as there lot of restaurants infront of them..beside everything i dint miss actual amritsar food.
I personally love this place. Ordered chicken rara with garlic naan. Loved the taste and vry gud quantity.. half portion contained 6 pcs of chicken.. prices r also gud. Looking forward to try more items frm their menu. Keep it up guys !

Great taste... Dal makhni especially should not be missed. Went there multiple times... Enjoyed misc paneer preparations.. they were good but not exceptional.. paneer naan was quite good and heavy. Good option for home delivery as not a very suitable place for family type seating...

Like its name..it has flavour of amritsar.. chicken dishes are very yummy specially chicken patiala.. dal makhani is my all time favourite..

This place was suggested by a friend and whenever we want to order Indian, we just order from Dil-e-amritsar. Their chicken malai tikka and butter chicken is amazing. Quick delivery and quality food.
Great option to order food in and around Malibu Town. Pindi Chana and dal makhni are highlights of this outlet. You will have to wait for at least 40 minutes after ordering the food. Kebabs were not great, avoid it. But must try place for main course.
Food is really good and worth the money. Biryani is not that great . Chicken items are really good and Nana are good too. Chinese items are also nice but not anything outstanding.

While I have tried other dishes from this place, the Raara Murg is the redeeming factor. Other dishes have not been able to meet the standards set by Raara Murg, especially the starters (including Dahi Kebab, which are disappointing). The breads are well prepared though, and I would recommend the Butter Naan.
The other plus about this place is the price, making it a value for money proposition for non vegetarians. So even if you get the choice of food wrong, it won't pinch you :) My ideal rating would be a 2.5 to 3, but am going with 3.5 just for the price and Raara Murg.

Most definitely WORTH TRYING. An amazing place to order and relish some amazing starters ranging from Chilly Chicken to the usual Tikkas it's a mouth watering delight portions can be large though. Have ordered both veg and non veg in the main course on various occasions Paneer Punjabi, Dal Makhni, Paneer Kulcha with Gravy are a must try for the Veggies. For the meat lovers it's a delightful experience too gravies are rich and tasty also Mirchi Naan ( Spice Fans) and Garlic Naan are good and soft whenever ordered. Dil e amritsar was recommended by a Chef friend and it totally lived up to his reco. Tried the amritsari daal, paneer and the mighty kulcha! All done to the same amritsar style perfection and serving were gracious too. Definitely ordering again. Well done guys. The food absolutely rocked!!

Have been staying in Gurgaon for the past few years and have ordered North Indian food from a lot of places but somehow do not get the Delhi style taste whether its Butter Chicken or Kadai Chicken.
Ever since I started ordering in from Dil E Amritsar, I havent ordered North Indian food from anywhere else.Their food is such a hit among my friends also that everybody had been eating from this place.
The must haves are Butter Chicken / Kadai Chicken / Tawa Mutton / Tandoori Chicken / Dal Makhni and the list goes on.Their quality is consistent and its just not half boiled chicken pieces churned in a curry.
So anybody carving for Delhi style food, please try this place near Malibu Town and you would not be disappointed.

Gentleman who picked the call recommended chicken rara. Ordered half a portion - boneless. The accompanying roomalis were the best I have tasted in south city 2 and around. The chicken rara was a fine balance of rich but not spicy. Definitely worth exploring.
Great food. Vegetarians must try their amritsari paneer kulcha. Absolute favorite for the entire family. Comes with a great curry. The egg and paneer preparations are also a must try for their freshness and taste.

small place, mainly delivery service .. the food is really nice . freshly prepared so you may need to wait for a while . we had ordered chicken currey and found it better than proper restaurants . .not a good option to eat there in summers or in rain coz there is no proper seating arrangement .. few seats outside the shop .. but a good option to get food delivered to your house if you crave for dhaba syle food ..
Went to this place with office team a couple of days back....Its mainly a delivery type outlet with some plastic seats outside in the open.....we dined at the outlet and ordered punjabi paneer and dal makhni....the food was really awesome.....service was fine.....owner is very courteous while the staff was a bit rude....

The food is simply awesome. I have been having food from this place for some time and the taste if the non-veg items is very nice. Even the mutton items are nicely cooked and are not stretchy or hard to chew. The only drawback of this place is that it does not have a good sitting arrangement and you will have to make a home delivery order.

Sat down for snacking at Dil e Amritsar last evening with a few friends. Its a small eatery that thrives on home deliveries. For dine in, the staff helps you by putting a table and chairs in the corridor where the restaurant is located.
I left order taking to Atin, the owner of the restaurant. Since we had two vegetarians with us, the order had to be split. We started with Atin's specialty Tawa Mutton which was indeed really flavourful. The meat was melting in the mouth. This was followed by Dahi ke Kebab which were equally delicious, though I felt that the coating should have been thinner and the stuffing should have been more. Feedback was given and accepted by Atin graciously.
We ordered for tandoori mushrooms next, which were a bit of a disappointment. The marinade had not seeped into the mushrooms and tasted a bit raw. Having tried mutton, I ordered for Chicken Kali Mirch Tikka which were succulent though I thought a little more black pepper would have perfected it. Having said that, the chicken was tender, juicy and tasted well.
To wrap the evening up, we ordered for a portion of soya champ which failed to make its mark totally. It turned out to be chewy and insipid. A lot of it went to waste.
To Sum-It-Up: Dil e Amritsar serves good quality punjabi food for both vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. Having said that, do stay away from the soya champ.

DIL-e-Amritsari / Opposite Hilton Garden Inn & Baani Square / South City-2
For days, starting from April 2014, I used to drive past this dhaba type restaurant which is can be viewed from the road. In the month of June or July, I halted at this restaurant to get some tandoori rotis and dal packed. For many weeks, I'd been searching this restaurant on Zomato but probably due to an over sight, I couldn't just locate it. Today, I was glad to read a review from a foodie and decided to write a review on Dil-e-Amritsari.
Firstly, its located exactly 1 Km from my housing society IN gate and by now, we have enjoyed their food service in terms of home delivery a two times - Chicken Biryani one plate is enough for two adults (on a mild diet) and its really good. Though, the Mughlai culture is missing but yeah, Punjabi tinge is omnipresent in the biryani. Its good.
We have tried their shahi paneer and dal makhani - both are fantastic. In winters, I hope they prepare makki-ki-roti and saag as I really want to give it a try. A nice place in the neighbourhood with an efficient home delivery.
Have been visiting this place for a while now. Honestly, I don't remember anything that we have not tried from the menu and OR something that we did not like. This place may not give you the best of the ambience or seating arrangements but the food is something that you will never forget and will keep coming back. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. A few things that you just cant miss on the menu and are a must try -Mutton Tikka Masala, Chilly chicken (Indian/Chinese Mixture, just amazing), Ajwaini parantha and mirchi naan. Honestly, have had the best tadka daal at this place than any where. This place also offers two different types of green chutneys.. which is just amazing. Thanks Atin for having us there almost every Friday :)

If you like north Indian food, then you must try Dil e Amritsar. I discovered it by chance few months ago and now it is my favorite joint for food for all my parties and also for a quick bite for the family.
I have never had such tender chicken, the quality of ingredients and therefore of food is just outstanding.

Great true Punjabi delivery outlet in South City 2. Great food and friendly and helpful staff. They know their punju food. And they use good quality mutton, unlike many other restaurants. Tender meat falling off the bone with all fat trimmed away. Must try their tava items- pretty darn good. I tried tava chicken and tava mutton. Both were awesome- tasted like they were cooked in desi ghee. Tandoori chicken's flavour was great too- but was a tad overcooked.

This place really deserves 5 stars. The quality of food is spectacular, especially the mutton dishes, which are a must try. I have ordered a couple of times from this joint and have never been disappointed. Atin, the owner is extremely helpful with his recommendations and the food arrives piping hot (and also reasonably fast). If you are looking for true desi food, look no further than Dil E Amritsar!
It is a delight to have a non-veg outlet as good as Dil-e-Amritsari in Gurgaon. For a very reasonable price, the exquisite taste and good portions, the outlet is very popular among my group. For a casual meeting over tasty Chicken Malai Tikkas, the place is definitely worth a trip. Atin, the owner is good to talk to and delivers the orders within time, almost always. I highly recommend the place for Tawa Mutton, Chicken tikka and Chicken lahsuni tikka.
I have never wrote a review on Zomato for any restaurant, no matter how much i liked the food. But i dont know y but i want to write review for DIL E AMRITSAR i think bcoz the FOOD IS OUT OF THE WORLD, it doesn't matter what u want to have. Their food works like a MAGIC ON UR TASTE BUDS nd makes u crave for more......AWESOME...
Simply amazing food.. If you are a non veg lover you are missing something if you haven't tried their food yet.. The kabab's are super soft and mouthwatering.. Mutton rara is yummm.. In short highly highly recommend.. Drive in and put on your fav music in your car with a plate of delicacies in your hand.. Its worth every penny!!!
I had ordered their Tawa paneer and mushroom masala…both were cooked well and were absolutely delicious!!! I really liked their tawa options, although I had ordered veg….but I have heard that their non-veg dishes are amazing…would love to try them next time….overall, a good place for takeaway or order….

First of all , the naan is so big that anyone , yes anyone even a big foodie can get full by just having one naan.
Second goes the taste - Made in Pure Ghee ( reason behind the taste and calories lol ) .
The ghee that we all know adds to the good taste of food .

Ordered for tandoori chicken and chicken tikka biryani and both were done superbly nice. The chicken was tender with all the masalas well sunk it and each bite had the same taste and flavor since the masalas were well spread. The guy who takes the order is warm to speak to and ensures that all needs to the order are taken well care of

One of my favorite dish is Tawa Mutton which is amazingly gud…….apart from this I have tried almost each and every cusine for which ”excellent” is also not the word………..they make the best. They have a large selection at snacks & lunch, and it's so incredibly affordable.
