The taste was fantastic,( without butter, even) and we demolished it in minutes. Prepped in time, tasted fantastic, reasonable priced and looked incredible and made me score a lot of brownie points. Couldn't recommend more to anyone else in Gurgaon looking for designer cakes. Thanks, Ila.

Ordered a dinosaur theme cake for my son's birthday and having recently moved back from abroad I was very apprehensive about the quality and dino figurines. But I have to say that i was super impressed by how it looked and how precise the details were. It wasn't over sweet and was perfect on the taste. I am glad I ordered from ila and highly recommend her. Had a very happy 3 year old :)

Was planning a surprise cake at 12 midnight for my son turning 14 years old. Posted my requirement on Gurgaon Foodies and got couple of recommendations for Ila Prakash Singh of Truffle Tangles. Have been always getting birthday cakes from Sweet Obsession, DLF-1 which too is highly recommended but this time decided to try a home chef knowing that home chefs can customise based on requirements at a short notice. My detail was - my son is turning 14 years old, is a top ranker in studies having recently won a blue blazer in school, is a state ranked table tennis player, is an ace guitarist and singer and loves gadgets (read IPhone & Playstation). Loves neon bright colours. Likes chocolate flavour. Beyond this allowed Ila to use her imagination. The result was amazing. She arranged for the cake to be delivered at my home by 11:30 pm well in time for the 12 midnight surprise. Happy that my son was pleasantly surprised to see the cake. More than visually appealing, the cake was wonderfully made. Moist from inside filled with chocolate filled layers. Am compelled to give her full 5 stars. Highly recommended.
This is a home based sweets and savories bakery run by Ila Prakash Singh. A thorough professional who will not let you down. How passionate she is about each order is evident in her discussion and then the execution. Using the best products, not compromising on quality and delivering with a smile makes you go back to her time and again. I have tried her signature chocolate truffle, the fresh mango cakes as well as the Tiramisu. Hard to decide which one scores over the other. It has been a wonderful experience every time. On her insistence, I also tried the vegan cake and that made me go gaga over it completely. Cheers Ila, you rock!
Tried the cake by Ila Prakash Singh on my 10th anniversary and it was by far the best cake ever we tasted. Was unable to get a designer cake in small size. Ila not only delivered in desired size but gathered all information about our taste preferences and accordingly used fresh fruit pieces. All in all a great experience. Would definitely go for it many more times.
If you want to pamper your wife on your wedding anniversary get the cake from Ila Prakash Singh what I had also done on my anniversary .I ordered The crunchy munchy gateaux cake it was really a mouthwatering and nicely done by her .
Ordered the ferro Roche cake .best cake I've ever tasted. It felt like it was a proper cake not like a cake just made of tons of sugar like other places .highly recommend
I have no words of appreciation for Truffle Tangles, who provided me the cake on the day before (first) birthday of my son.
The other vendors were not ready to deliver the cake on such a short notice, but Ila not just helped us but made such a beautiful and tasty cake that all of the guests were wondering about it.
Ila suggested us the design of the cake as she is the master of this, she told us honestly what she could do in this short spam of time, AND SHE DID REALLY WELL

While GF was was enjoying the potluck event, i was hosting a bunch of energy bundles for a birthday party - I want to thank all GFs for recos because beyond what was prepared at home,there were 2 GF references that worked for us. Frst it was Ila Praksh SIngh - this was only reviews I had read and not a direct question on GF- The end to end experience was just great ! - on the order - my son had a pretty specific ask and she took the pains to understand exactly what was needed ( even trying to decipher a very bad drawing!) on both tiers, figures and cupcakes , and the outcome was exactly that! Exactly! my son was thrilled and so were the guests . then comes the inside. some cakes in the past esp fondant because of ( so far I was told and so used to believe ) that pressure they need withstand have been a bit dry. But this cake OMG no one could get enough of it- soft , gooey and pure mmmm out of the world feeling ( lot of people said that) . then the cupcakes were awesome too. didnt get to try them because they were lifted off pretty soon! Im going to be a regular and no more trying unless she is not in town. No comparisons but i think her cakes are the best by a far distance ( we are 8 and 3 birthdays old in this matter and have tried the a mix of home-bakers and bakeries)

Ordered my husbands B'day cake.. Great job by Ila! Cake was delicious with nicely done fondant! Probably the first ever thinnest fondant cake I tried. Surely recommend for custom cakes!
Had my first sampling of their sugaree delights at a foodie event and quite like the freshness of the fruit cake - so much so that I ordered the same cake later for my mom on her official B'day ;)
The first time I placed an order with Ila's Truffles Tangles it was for a jar of red velvet cake. I just loved it..it was the right amount of sweet without being sugary. A lot people don't do a red velvet properly but not her :)
I have ordered a few time after this one for different things and every time she excels! I can now just tell her the flavours I want in the cake and she works her magic. I trust her instincts and skill and I can't recommend her enough!
Feb 17th was my son’s birthday and being a football fan, he wanted his b’day cake to be replica of brazuca. The cake was done by Truffle Tangles and I must say it was fantastic on all parameters.
The visual appeal, taste, overall presentation were all excellent. The small, tiny footballers put on cup cakes were a big hit with kids, they had their hands on those little buddies even before the cake cutting which is evident in the picture as well.
Being Tuesday and Mahashivratri, some people (like my mom) were reluctant to cake with egg, they at a short notice changed the cupcakes to eggless, which was very nice of them.
Had an amazing overall experience.
Ila's creations taste better because of the love and individual attention she gives. Minute details like finding out taste and texture preferences are taken care of. Have tried her cakes and desserts and everybody always has a smile on their faces while taking a bite! Highly highly recommended.

Ordered a Fresh Fruit Cake, and it was amazing.
Probably one of the freshest and lightest cakes I've ever had. Evenly covered with a bounty a fruits and nuts such as orange, grapes, pineapples, apples, sliced almonds etc.
The icing was fresh and light, and the sponge cake was a delight as well.
Obviously such a cake was pretty expensive, coming in at around 1800 bucks for a kilo and half.
It's a pity I can't enjoy this quality again and again because of it's price, but an occasional sin doesn't harm!
I have not really ordered from here. But had tried the pastries at their stall during one of the festive melas. And i loved the crunchy chocolate and fresh strawberry ones, though the red velved cup cakes could have been better. But over all, i was impressed. Presentation was really good. And the ladies there were really helpful and easy to talk to. Looking forward to an ocassion when i could order a cake from here ! :)
I had ordered for a birthday cake for a friend, and i must say it was awesome not only in taste but the 3D design too...everything edible, yet the optimum use of fondant did not make it either too sweet or too hard and i must mention it was a total vegan cake as i ordered during navratras......so great work truffle tangles.

I absolutely love cakes from truffle tangles. They are not only amazing but healthy too. ila has an amazing quality of giving innovation to everything she bakes. My son loves her brownies.....they are just delicious.....incredibly moist and rich.. I don't have a sweet tooth but. OMG........they just blew me away.
Ila's cakes are so delish and she decorates them so perfectly. I would definitely recommend Truffle Tangles to all my friends and family and to all those who are reading this. One of the best place in gurgaon to order cakes.

I happen to meet Ila in one of our kitty parties . She is very friendly and dependable . Our first meeting was interesting i got to know about her and her cake making . So , some how i was tempted and liked all her pages . Now one day when i was in her kitty , i tasted two of her amazing cakes , my friend , this is what baking is all about . Thinking of the most delicious baked good anyone could ever imagine .I am so fond of Ila's baking that i recommend almost everyone i meet and they all love it as well .I usually speak about her cake and art with people .I then again got a chance to eat her amazing creation one more time at someone else's place and again i became a fan . Since , then i recommend everyone to experience it , so far everyone liked it as i do . It became a real talking point at the kitty . Ila's cake making is just what you need when you have so many other things to think about . Highly recommended !
amazing cake, i had ordered a cake for my wife's B"day, and the moment she saw the cakes, she loved it, it had three different flavours, and everybody died to have each of it. highly recomended for cakes and also the new ideas you can have for a cake and you will definetly get what you desired...i had ordered a customized cake and unlike other bakers, the cake was as per the order and you will get value for money.... loved every piece of it... made my day..

I was definitely a Lucky one to have tasted your Hara Bhara kebab, Mince meat Samosas, the super yummy Black current, butterscotch & lime cheesecakes... They were so so yummmm! And the Gateaux that you made for Vinay's Bday was definitely the icing on the cake... It was just fantastic and was wiped off in a matter of minutes... I could go on n on n on about you but I'd just say that the warmth and love that you have in yourself definitely shows in your cooking! I am a fan now n will always remain so

I came, I saw and I ate. Then I realised I eaten my fingers too. Enjoyed the cake and their other offerings. Simplying mindblowing and relishing at core. Ila puts her imagination and skill to make food into a beautiful painting.
Ordered my daughter's first B'day cake from here and it was the best. It was extremely moist and a theme cake at that! Personalized service is key to Ila who is a delight to work with . I would strongly recommend her cakes to anyone interested .

Truffle tangled did bengali catering for 20 pax. Food was simply delicious and authentic. Highly reccomended for bengali simple dishes to authentic ones. Full marks to Ila The Chef.

Ila is my one and only favorite baker in Gurgaon. The lady has got me addicted to her fruit cake. Love her for my b'day cake and the urgent requirements she can attend. She is surely a first recommended choice for tasty, healthy and quick bakery.
Awesome for theme cakes...I recently tried it for a birthday cake (office theme with a proper desk, mobile phone, tablet & even a blue tooth device). Loved the fact that every bit of detailing I had asked for was incorporated & there were some creative inputs from Ila as well....
It just did not end at being picture perfect, it was also very delicious....All the very best Ila & I'm looking forward to having another party to order your cakes...
