One of the few places in Gurgaon that offer some unique recipes apart from the regular Panner gravy and roti massacre. The rich taste of Rajasthani feels like fresh air and serves well for the spicy tooth people. Dal bati churma, gatta curry, sev tamatar all of them are just so epic and so out of box recipes that I find them worthy of everyday eating.
If you had a hectic day and don't feel like cooking, this is the place to order ultimately delicious finger licking ghar jesa khana. Loved everything!
Ordered lunch from this wonderful place. The taste is authentic. Everything was so tasty and delicious. People find it a bit spicy but I am from rajasthan myself so it was okay for me. Everybody loved the taste though. Please do try their gatta masala, sev and papad subji. I bet you won’t be disappointed.

Had dal bati thali here, must say it was superb, taste of everything on plate was too good, once you enter this restaurant you really feel so good, well decorated nice ambiance, to add to that lakshya ( owner ) served us bajra roti with kadhi as complimentary. Too good, met the chef Paritosh also such a nice person. Overall a visit to remember. Would definitely recommend if you are around.
I am from Rajasthan and I have tried several places in and around Delhi NCR for Rajasthani food. Must say these guys serve the most authentic Rajasthani food. Their menu is huge and the taste is amazing. Would recommend it to everyone who wants to try Rajasthani food.
We happened to find this place by chance.... Me and my husband were strolling around Sector 31 market, in search of some good place to eat.... And we gave a try to this restaurant.... They serve authentic Rajasthani food...Intially I was skeptical about the ambience, but still went ahead with the plan.... And it was worth.... We ordered gatte ki sabzi with tawa roti.... Gatte ki sabzi was super delicious with less oil and roti was thin and soft.... After that we have ordered their Rajasthani thali many times for home delivery..... It's too good and more than sufficient for two people..... The tinge of the garlic chutney and aroma of dal makes the meal an awesome deal..... I prefer home delivery rather than fine dine from this restaurant
I liked the combos they offer. They even offer a discount of 10% on orders above Rs. 200, which isn't bad at all. Food was prepared fresh & delivered well in time. Moreover, the rider was courteous enough.
What I had -:
Bread Rolls - 4
The combo says 'Bread Roll with Chutney' but the chutney went missing. These were 2 bread rolls packed in aluminium foil. Still the crunch remained intact & I could taste the freshness. It was hot & tasty but had a little extra oil remains.
Rajma Rice Combo - 4.5
It says it serves 1 but if you have an appetite similar to that of mine, this would be sufficient for 2. Rajma was tasty but the beans were slightly uncooked. They packed it nicely in a box separating Rajma & Rice. Quantity of Rajma was slightly less as compared to rice.
This is the place where you can find best North Indian cuisines in gurgaon. If you love the taste of Rajasthan then this restaurant is for you. They provide mouth watering food. And variety of meals.
Try dali bati churma it's delicious.
Kadahi paneer. The most outstanding dish to take. The secret here is the perfect quantity of paneer well mixed with masala which gives a wonderful taste.

We ordered food for the family from The Tomato Restaurant and we planned to order Rajasthani food from their outlet as I am fully fond of it..
The food served was very neatly packed, delivery hot and fresh. We ordered
1. Special Rajasthani Thali(it contained of variety of items all purely cooked in Desi Ghee namely gatte ki sabji - authentic Rajasthani taste with yummy aromatic spices, dal bati churma- Best and soft crispy bati served well with dal and churma was delicious all again in pure ghee, kadhi, Gulab Jamun, aam ki sabji all just beyond tasty)
2. Besan Chilla, Moong Dal Chilla (well cooked Chilla with vegetables and sauces within it)
3. Alu Paratha with Dahi(yummy and tasty stuffing in paratha with tasty Dahi )
4. Rajma Chawal combo(rajma gravy was just yummy served well with Chawal which were basmati ones and cooked in ghee )
5. Jalebi (yummy crispy kesar Jalebi which would leave you craving for More).
I am true fan of this place and would recommend this as they serve very tasty and authentic food.
Love the jalebis. The thali and dal baati was also fantastic. I recommend this to anyone looking for Rajasthani food. Tea was also good. A good and economical evening with friends.
Ordered food for two people after recommendation from some of my friends. I ordered one missi roti, some plain chapatis, dal makhani and sev tomato sabzi. They were really so good optimum spices and oil... With fantastic taste... Too delicious... Also got complimentary boondi fresh Sweets... Must recommend to a Rajasthani person...
Aaloo sabzi they give with puri is amazing and the tomato has been blended to perfection. These small things really matter. Ghar ki yaad aa gayi.
I will definitely order more in future.

A perfect place to get cravings satiated to entirety!
“The Tomato” is a must-go place, if you live in Gurgaon and fond of traditional food, with quality as well as taste.
I have been frequent commuter to Sector 31 market in general and Om sweets in particular, but one of my friend suggested me to come over The Tomato. Since the day, I have been habitual visitor to the restaurant.
Pros:
• Best traditional food in the surrounding market (Paratha Platter with Crispy Mirchi and Garlic chutney is just delicious)
• Feeling of Home food (Rajasthani food and especially Lal Maans, you can find nowhere else)
• Nice ambience
• Hospitable staff
• Quick service
• Women entrepreneurship (I talked to the owner and I came to know that she left her MNC job to run it at her own)
Cons:
Not able to find one, thus far
Overall a great experience so far and hoping in the future too!!

In mood for some Rajasthani food for lunch, I ordered from The Tomato restaurant on my friend’s suggestion. Here is my crisp review
Gatte ki sabji – absolutely deliciously! A little oily and spicy, but it reminded me of my trip to Jaipur where I had authentic Rajasthani meal
Launki k kofte – When I looked at the dishes I could not diffrenciate between the gravy. Despite looking similar the taste was quite different. Personally, I liked this one more. Mildy spicy, soft kofte.
Corporate thali – consisted of 2 sabji, 2 gravy, rice, mitha and chapati. A great option when you are confused on what to eat
Ghewar - this was the no Nawaz ghewar, crunchy and mildly sweet
The packaging was good, and there was no spillage. Overall very satisfied with the food and would definitely order again.
One of the most authentic Rajasthani foods in gurgaon. Gatte is must try dish. They need to improve restaurant seating arrangement and coordination from taking orders till customer leaves the restaurant. As of now their food covers for such setup challenges but overall we returned back from the restaurant with fond memories of eating very good food. Thank you team.
Authenticity of The Tomato Restaurant is all in the taste ... real, tasty and purity in every bite. Love to visit even for a cup of Chai, with dry Kachori making it the perfect complement.
Then comes the Dal-Bati churma & the thali that comes along is amazing, filling and I bet you'll order it again the next time you visit this cute restaurant.

Awesome spread of the food with dal bati churma,
Gatte ki sabzi, kair sangri, sev tamater, dal panchmel, Jeera rice, Jaipur mirch, lahsun chutney, aloo tamatar ki sabji, option for masala poori / roti.!! And ofcourse they serve hot and crisp jalebi..! Must try...!!

I cant stress enough that this place has good food and is worth for money. Plus the hospitality is amazing. Amazing rajasthani thali and pyaaz kachori, and chai, and jaleb and do try lehsuni chutni.

A very basic hard to notice outlet in sector 31 market Gurgaon, near burger point on the main road lane. I ordered a thaali because it’s pretty and I get to taste a variety of options.
It had gatte ki sabji, daal bati churma, kadhi, ker sangri, lehsun ki chutney, onion chutney, rice, salad and chapati.
Easy to suffice two people!
The quality of food was evident and the taste was absolutely authentic Rajasthani - an approval my Rajasthani friends gave too.
Pure ghee and fresh ingredients added to the authenticity of the taste. When I talked to the owner she told everything and everybody (the chefs) were sources from Bikaner and nearby areas, hence making it possible to maintain the taste.
The two other things I ordered were sev tamatar and chanch.
Sev tamatar is something I had not true before and loved it too!
And with this the restaurant goes to my love-to-go-back list! :)
Usually the outlets thank the guests for coming, here I’ll thank them for proving such amazing food!

Best Rajasthani thali I tried ever n the quantity is good for 2 the only thing khadi/dal portion size should be increased...I would love if a portion of sweet be added. Rest is just awesome a must try.
Place is really good, go to eat something delicious. We had the special Rajasthani Thali and from Chapatees to the Daal and Baati Churma, everything remained fingerlicious.

Gulab Jamun is to die for..
There are several places one eats at in their life but there are only some which stick around in your memory for a long time and let me tell you The Tomato is definitely one of them.
Ordered the Rajma Chawal there and it was an example of how something simple can blow away your mind when cooked in the right way.
Both the quantity and quality were sumptuous. Ended the things the correct way with the traditional Indian way of Gulab Jamuns which btw were great too.
Also the additional of this place was the warm hospitality extended by it's owner.
Really amazing place, 100% recommended.

Ordered tiffin combo 1. It contained one portion of rice, 2 butter chapatis, one sabzi and one daal. Salad was mentioned but nt served, instead a chutney was served which was spicy n tasty. Rotis were warm and soft n well cooked.. Subzi was yumm, rich in texture n with cashews, and the rich flavours of garlic could be very well felt in it.. Daal was also tasty with good consistency.. Rice was of good quality.. Overall quantity was sufficient for me.. Packaging was very good.. Delivery was within 15 mins! The food was very tasty so m gonna keep ordering from here for rajasthani food and flavours 😊😊 overall a great experience.. 😊 😊

Don’t judge a book by its cover! When we reached the place we were doubtful from the outside but we decided to give it a go because the reviews were really good. I’m so glad we did coz the food was really authentic and so yummy we were just raving about it to everyone once we got back to office too! Everything from the thali to the dal bati churma to the masala tea, was just brilliant! I’m so going back to this place and ahem, this coming from a hardcore non veg person :) . Just go and try it out and you won’t be disappointed! :)
FOOD AT ITS BEST: I was not hungry, just visiting this new restaurant in the Huda market, just for the sake of taste, asked for 1 aalu paratha, ended up with 2 breath 1 lassi and lots of sweets for my home. I have tried almost 40% of the menu till yet and everything is super tasty with Rajasthani feel. Going to try the whole menu day by day. Thank you The Tomato for introducing me to Rajasthan(food) in this fast-paced city like Gurgaon.
I am addicted to Rajasthani meal since I ordered from here, this place satisfies my taste buds so well. Be it Daal baati churma, rajasthani thali or snacks like kachori or jalebi it has some petrichor taste associated with it. What a perfect blend of fine dining with homely touch!
Staff is very friendly, my thanks to owner for being so humble and responsive.
I wish to see their restaurant space expand very soon.
P.S. taste garlic chutni and bikaneri sweets from here once, you may not find such in NCR anywhere else.
Wonderful place for a great meal or a light snack! We had the thhali, bejar roti+aloo pyaaz sabzi n kari patta chaach.
They have Rajasthani cuisine and if you are looking for the home made taste then go for it. In general the food is awesome, made of ghee instead of refined oil and chapatis are just like home made. Seating is small (6-7 ppl at a time ) but tastefully done.
Ordered Dal Baati Churma and loved every bit of it. Bringing authentic Rajasthani food to Gurgaon is something they've done brilliantly. Highly recommended!

Wow, wow, wow.......can't get enough of the food & flavors here.......being a Rajasthani & a foodie, have always craved for authentic Rajasthani food in NCR & my search ended here. Now ordering food from here has become a daily affair for me and my family, from last few days. Akshiya and Shailendra, the owners of the place leave no stone unturned for making the hospitality worth 5 star. Amazed at the purity of ingredients. They use pure desi ghee, mawa & authentic Rajasthani ingredients, which they procure from Rajasthan itself! And that shows in the taste & flavor. It is not just Rajasthani thali & kachoris which is awesome, but Mirchi Bada, Idly Saute, Daal Pakwaan and Samosas are to die for. Also, must try Panchmel ki sabzi! Will keep on exploring as the food here has never let us down. Keep up the good work guys!

First tried Rajasthani Thali in dinner, which was authentic. Amazed by the food, we ordered dal pakwan, kachori, samosa, Mirchi bada and idli fry. everything was awesome and worth repeating again.
Being from Rajasthan I can relate to the flavors of the land and the food here truly reflects the same.
If there is any place which gets the closest to mom's food, this is it. On our first visit, we had Gatte ki Sabzi and Matar Paneer along with Tawa roti. On next visit, we ordered the full Rajasthani Thali and it was delicious.

I've been here twice last week and tried their breakfast and lunch menu. Dishes here are aptly priced and you'll get value for money.
For breakfast i ordered Samosa and Halka Phulka Poha, they were quite delicious and the best options for your morning munching.
Rajasthani Thali and Dal Bati Churma are highly recommended. You will witness traditional rajasthani flavours and dishes (kair sangri being one of them), these are definitely worth a try.
Don't miss out the traditional Bikaneri deserts, these are the best one you can have in Gurgaon.
We ate Rajasthani thali here- super delicious really loved the food. Looking forward for non-veg options too. Outdoor seating is also available.
